EAF(Equestrian Armed Forces)

All was peaceful in Ponyvill. Ponies of all different types trotted back and fourth. The towns center was full of life.

Twilight  awoke to the sound of Spike burping up a scroll. She's always loved Spike ,but the sound of him burping up a scroll somtimes annoyed her especially when she's asleep.

"Um, Twilight it's a message from Princess Celestia."

Twilight rolled out of bed ,and trotted over to Spike.

"Sometimes Celestia you send messages at the wrong time."

At that she levitated the scroll over to her and unfolded the paper.

Dear, Twilight

I received word of an unknown structure in Canterlot that I would like you to personally investigate the structure I'll Assign royal guards to escort you into the structure please report to me after you've fully read this letter it's a matter of upmost urgency.

From: Princess Celestia..

"Wow an unknown structure in Canterlot!!! And I get to Investigate it!!!! This is the best day ever!!!"

Twilight hugged herself soffocating the letter with her legs.

"Spike pack up we need to leave today. O my gosh I can't to tell all my friends about that adventure we....."

At that instant Spike burped another scroll which Twilight read.

Dear, Twilight

I forgot to mention its top secret.

From: Princess Celestia.

Twilight frowned as she read the "top secret." She loves going on adventures with her friends but now she has to do it alone...

"Aww don't worry Twilight I'll come with anyways you did read both letters out loud." Spike said in a comforting voice.

Twlight looked at Spike and smiled.

"Your right Spike if it's a matter of upmost urgency ,and top secret it must be dangerous. We wouldn't want to get them hurt would we."

"Can't agree with you more there Twilight."

Spike replied. And they both set out to Canterlot.

5 hours later....

Twilight and Spike arrived to Canterlot. They unloaded their luggage from the train ,and made the journey to the Castle. As they arrived they were stopped by two guards...

" Miss Twlight please follow us to the location of the structure."

"Um okay."

" Princess Celestia asked us to inform you about the structure, it appears to be made out of reenforced concrete and has multiple holes surrounding, it looks like it's been beaten with some sort of explosive weapons."

"Weird has anyone entered the structure yet?"

"No, we're the first ponies who are going to enter the structure. We don't know what's inside but we have orders to protect you while you investigate."

As the group walked over to the location Twilight noticed that the bunker was located inside the hill with only part of the entrance exposed.

"This is it." The guard said.

"This is a strangest structure I've ever seen. Twilight replied as she approached what seemed be the entrance. The entrance was sealed with what was a tall red rusted metal door.

"This must be the entrance." Twilight studied the door closely.

" Becareful Miss Twilight."One of the guards said with a hint of fear in his voice.

"I agree with him Twilight." Spike replied. "We don't  know what what kind of place this is it could be booby trapped for all we know."

"Don't worry spike I've got this under control."Twilight said in a sarcastic tone.

"I hope your right." Spike replied.

Twilight tries pushing the door open. "It's jammed shut." She said, she then used her magic to forcefully push the door open. "I think just about got it." The door then made a click noise and proceeded to open under its own weight and for a gust of air to fly out of the bunker. "Bingo." Twilight said. But she couldn't help but notice that there was another presence in the room as if there were 50 ponies in the room at once just...... Watching.

As they walked in she used her magic to illuminate the surrounding area with her horn. The two guards did the same. As Twilight walked around she notices fileing cabinets surrounded in dust. Twilight also noticed a part of the bunker that held the word "Government military fallout shelter no.5." Twilight read the words out loud and wrote them down in a book labeled Book of Knowledge.

"Miss Twilight I found something!" One of the guards yelled. "It looks to be a skeleton of an unknown creature." Twilight investigated the skeleton closely. She noted it closely resembled an ape but it had clothes on she also noticed something reflect the light from her horn "Huh what's that." Twilight said in a curious voice. As she looked closely she noticed it was a pin located on the skeletons clothes. From what she could make out it was a pin with four stars connected together forming a straight line as she was was about to touch the pin she felt a gust of wind hit her it and it was cold. Spike noticed it as well.

"What was that." Spike said as a shiver went down his spine. "I don't know Spike."  Twilight said. She decided to ignore it and looked over the skeleton again. This time she notices a piece of paper on the skeletons hand. She levitates the paper up to her eye level. "Hm what's this." She said. Surprised that's it's written in equestrian. "Amazing." She said.

She then began to read what was on the paper...

Me and my friends have been stuck in here for a month now. We

Just ran out of food. I had to share the last can of beans with Chris and Eddie.

The rest of the men have all passed on... Poor bastards couldn't handle the stress of being confined

In here. I told them it was bad idea to stuff 37 of us in here. Now there 3 of us left Me 3 Star Gen Chris and and Colonel Eddie. Well at least I'll die with my best friends and if someone's finds this after God knows how many years. Please fucking hit Chris corpse or skeleton for pissing in our only water supply.

Hehe He may be a dumbass but he's my dumbass. It makes me sad to see them like this. Dying of starvation. Sometimes I wonder if the radiation from the outside actually mutates animals like the video games but if the world gets taken over by animals I'm so done."

Twilight was shocked at the papers contents who were these creatures and what do they mean about the world getting taken over by animals. She was shocked until she felt something pull her horn and turn her in a 360 and she felt her horn start emitt strong amounts of magic.

"What's going on?!!?!" She screamed. There was a flashing light and a boom then it got quiet.

*cough cough* was all that was heard. Everyone  looked towards the coughing and as the smoke cleared

They saw a pony pulling himself up to a standing position and it spoke.

"Damnit I knew this would happen!"
