History Repeats.........AGAIN
In the main bed chamber of the farmhouse, an earth mare lay sleeping next to a unicorn stallion as the sun rose that spring morning. A rooster crowed, waking up Apple Crisp.
"Honey, wake up. We got work to do."
"Mmph." Was the only response from Candy Apple.
Apple Crisp tried the next best thing. Kissing her awake. He kissed Candy Apple on the lips. She woke up when she felt something on her lips.
"Did you learn this from Mama AJ?"
"Yes. There's work to be done. We gotta get up."
"Ok."
The two Apple-Skim lovers sat down at the breakfast table and began to eat their apple pancakes.
History Repeats.........AGAIN
After finishing their pancakes, Apple Crisp levitated the dishes to the sink with his horn, which glowed a green aura which he had inherited from his uncle Flam. He then helped his pregnant wife up from the chair.
"I can get up myself, Crispy."
"Yes, but you're pregnant, Candy, and I don't want anything to happen."
Candy Apple looked through her photo albums later on that day. Her face became pale when she saw a certain photo......
A picture of her mom and dad and her older sister, Apple Cider posing together in front of the barn.
"Crispy! Come here please!"
Apple Crisp galloped up the stairs to see what his wife wanted.
"Look at this photo. Saturday is the 25th anniversary of..."
"Oh. Don't be depressed. How would it affect the baby?"
"You're right. Hopefully nothing will happen."
A knock on the door had Apple Crisp galloping down the stairs. The door opened to a grey mail mare.
"Letter for Apple Cider."
"Cider! Letter for you!"
Apple Cider trotted out of her bedroom she will soon share with her niece or nephew.
She read the letter.
'Dear Cider,
I am feeling quite ill and I need you to take care of me for a few days.
Love, Toasty Strudel'
"I don't wanna leave this weekend. Dad died 25 years ago this weekend. But it's my old friend from school. How can I say no?"
"It'll be fine, right, sweetie?"
"Right. Take care, big sis."
Apple Cider packed her things to get ready to go to Baltimare, where Toasty lived. It started to rain when she walked to the taxi.
"I'll see you guys in a couple days, don't worry. I'll be fine, I pinkie pie promise."
"Okay, Cider. I'll see you soon."
The taxi took off, taking Cider with it.
There was another knock at the door, and Twilight was standing there.
"Apple Cider sent me over just in case the baby comes." she said.
That sentence caused Candy Apple to lurch forward and her stomach to bulge out.
She was going into labor.
