Chapter 1 The contradiction. ((only chapter for demo.))
Time: 8:30
Place: Courtroom Defendant Lobby.
Dan Dasher: (Oh boy. Trial is about to start and I’m already getting butterflies in my stomach.)
Purple Flare: You ok Dan Dasher?
Dan Dasher: Just a little nervous is all.
(My name is Dan Dasher. I'm an attorney at Purple Flare's law office. This is actually my first trial .)
Purple flare: Well shall we look over the evidence?
First who's our client?
Dan Dasher: That’s easy it’s....... (Oh crap I forgot all of it)
Purple Flare: If you can't remember Dan Dasher then you should look over the court record. Now then who's our client?
Dan Dasher: ... Our client is Rarity a fashionista at a boutique that she lives in.
Purple Flare: Good, good. Now can you tell me who the victim was?
Dan Dasher: The victim was a participant of a beauty contest, Charity.
Purple Flare: Correct. Now are you ready to go in there and show them what you’re made of?
Dan Dasher: ....Hardly....
(As we were investigating the crime scene last night we discovered a strange note that could become useful in this trial. As for what it means I have no clue. But it'll make more sense when the trial starts. We also found shattered glass. Another clue I’ll keep in mind. Whoever busted the window must've come from the outside. I also found some ripped cloth snatched onto the door. The letters CMC are engraved on them..... Wonder what they mean.)

Dear Charity
Meet me outside the boutique. The contest is coming soon and I want to talk about what happened over a year ago.
(The police think that Rarity was the one who wrote this note because it proves a motive but there must be a deeper meaning to this note that they don't know about.)
Time: 8:40
Place: courtroom # 1
Judge: *slams gavel* Court is now in session for the trial of Ms. Rarity. Is the defense Ready?
Dan Dasher: T-the defense is r-ready your honor.
Judge: Ah I see you’re the new comer aren’t you mind telling us your name?
Dan Dasher: My name is Dan Dasher your honor. AND I'M FINE! Oops I mean I’m fine...
Judge: *Wide eyes.* Well that was certainly dramatic ahem, is the prosecution ready?
??? : The prosecution is ready to rock your honor, ja!
Purple Flare: Be careful Dan Dasher this prosecutor isn't any rookie. He's been through trials before.
Dan Dasher: Got it (Note to self be more cautious with my objections.)
Judge: *Slams gavel* Now then let’s begin prosecutor Flare Dare please begin with your opening
statement.
Flare dare: With pleasure your honor. The victim was invited to her home and was then stabbed by the defendant with a knife. Teeth marks of the defendant can be found on the murder weapon. A contest was going to be held for fashion. Both the defendant and the victim where participating in the same contest. This gives the defendant enough of a motive to kill the victim. Before we all skip down to a verdict your honor I’d like to call in the detective in charge of the investigation. Detective Detect to the stand.
Judge: Alright then bring in this witness.

Flare dare: Name and occupation please?
Detect: My name is Detect I’m a homicide detective at the precinct.
Purple Flare: Tell us what you know about the crime.
Detect:*Salutes* Yes sir!!!
Detect: We estimated the time of death to be between 11:30 and 12:00 last night. Rarity was having
Charity over for some chit chat. But during their little chit chat she was stabbed by this knife with the defendant’s teeth marks on the handle.
Knife added to the court record
Knife: Bears the defendant's teeth marks on the handle and is stained with blood of the victim.
Autopsy report added to the court record.
Autopsy: Cause of death: Loss of blood due to stab wound; could have lived for a few minutes after stabbing.
Detect: The defendant had invited the victim inside the boutique. She took her upstairs into her room; were we also found Charity there dead. So we arrested the defendant.

Flare Dare: Now for your testimony detective. Explain how you heard about the crime.
Testimony: The Call
Detect: We heard about the crime by phone.
The caller says something about murder.
So we came as fast as we could to the boutique.
Rarity was already there laying down crying with Twilight Sparkle at her side.
We investigated the crime scene and came to one conclusion.
The murderer never escaped because of her guilt.
Judge: Well ahem this is quite the testimony. I don’t see any flaws but we will let the defense cross examine him
CROSS EXAMINATION.

Detect: We heard about the crime by phone
Dan Dasher: HOLD IT!
Could you identify who it was that called?
Detect: Her name was Apple Jack a good friend to the defendant Rarity
Dan Dasher: When did she make the call?
Detect: It was 5 past noon sir.
Detect: The caller says something about murder
Dan Dasher: HOLD IT!
What exactly did she say to mention the murder?
Detect: Her younger sister was scared because she says she saw some pony murdered.
Detect: So we came as fast as we could to the boutique
Dan Dasher: HOLD IT!
How did you know you had to get to the boutique?
Flare Dare: OBJECTION!
Your honor how they knew to get to the boutique is irrelevant.
Judge: Objection sustained please continue your testimony Mr. Detect.
Detect: Rarity was already there laying down crying with Twilight Sparkle at her side.
Dan Dasher: HOLD IT!
"Laying down"? Where was she when she was "laying down"?
Flare dare: OBJECTION!
This is an irrelevant line of questioning your honor
Dan Dasher: OBJECTION!
How do you know she might've been at the crime scene.*Points*
Detect: She wasn't.
Flare Dare: As I said before irrelevant.
Judge: Very well. Detect, please continue your testimony.
Detect: We investigated the crime scene and came to one conclusion.
Dan Dasher: HOLD IT!
What was it that made the conclusion?
Detect: We found the murder weapon in her room.
Dan Dasher: Was there anything else that points to your conclusion?
Detect: Not really.
Detect: The murderer never escaped all because of her own guilt.
Dan Dasher: HOLD IT!
Are you sure the murderer never escaped?
Flare Dare: OBJECTION!
This was already explained the murderer never left because of her own guilt.
Judge: Objection sustained.
Dan Dasher: (This seems fishy could the murderer really not have escaped)
Purple Flare: Dan Dasher something’s not right with this testimony I can't put my hoof on it. We need to prove the murderer's existence as far as I know.
Detect: We heard about the crime by phone.

Dan Dasher: OBJECTION!

Judge: Got him? What do you mean Mr. Dan Dasher?
Dan Dasher: Take a look at the crime scene.
Detect: So what are we looking for?
Dan Dasher: If you look carefully you'll notice that there’s a shattered window.
Detect: Yea what about it?
Dan Dasher: Well let’s not think of it as a shattered window but as an exit to a crime scene.
Detect: W-what! How could that be!
Dan Dasher: (This feeling... It feels like I’ll get to the truth of this case in no time. See you all in court.)
