For Whom You Put Your Trust In

Rainbow stared out on the open fields from the balcony of her cloud home. From her spot she could see the love of her life prancing across the savanna with a few of her animal friends."Oh Fluttershy! If only you knew the feelings I had for you, the amount of time I spend everyday watching you prance through this field with your animals, wishing I could be in the picture with you." Rainbow said quietly as she continued watching, she began to form a some what negative thought. "Oh but how I wish the newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle, would stop trying to get me to love her", Rainbow said rolling on her back, but still leaning on the clouds,"and how I wish that she could see that I am meant to be with the beautiful Fluttershy, who is pretty on the outside, and an angel at heart!" She said aloud, not realizing that Fluttershy had just flown up, and had seen her.

"Rainbow...." Fluttershy said nervously.

"AHH!!! Fluttershy! How long have you been floating there!?" Rainbow said, shocked.

"Well,all I heard was angel at heart, who were you talking about?" Fluttershy asked, and seemed like she had begun to blush. Rainbow simply stood there, not saying anything for quite a few minutes, afraid of how she was going to react to finding who she had been talking about, and so proudly.

"Well....hehe....you." Rainbow said giving off a look of hope and fear. For about an hour it seemed to them both, they seemed to just stare into each other's gaze, waiting for the other to break the silence. Finally, Fluttershy did, by flying over and catching the pegasis off guard with a hug, and whispering four little words,"I love you too."

Twilight stared in anger and rage, through her telescope, watching Rainbow and Fluttershy, as they flew back down to the field holding hooves and talking with occasional laughter."Ugh, she's finally confessed her feelings to Fluttershy, which means they'll be telling us about there new found relationship soon enough. Doesn't she know the feelings I have for her!?" Twilight said with anger but sadness, to her partner in crime, her servant, Pinkemena Diane Pie, or Pinkie as they called her.

"Well, maybe you can still win her heart back with a little romance!" Pinkie said, trying to comfort her Princess.

"HA! No way, with Fluttershy in the way, i'll never get to Rainbow!" Twilight responded, scoldingly, and began walking down the castle's hallway to the throne room.

"So what are you gonna do, hide Fluttershy away in the dungeon somewhere, or just kill her and be done with it?" Pinkie asked, frightened as to what the answer could be.

"What!? No! I have nothing against her! And besides, I can use her against Rainbow's will. All I have to do is get Flutters in my control, and Rainbow will be mine! Otherwise, Rainbow might end up out of her 'angel's sight' and to the devils cage!" Twilight said with an evil glare and giving a short maniacal laugh. Then suddenly, hatching a plan just good enough to work, and giving a smile off with it.

"What are you thinking off!?" Pinkie questioned.

"You'll know soon enough, but right now I need you to bring me Applejack, if my plan is going to work, we'll need a little extra help."

"Oki Dokie! But can you give a little information of your plan?" Pinkie asked.

"Let's just say, to get to the rainbow, you have to remove the rain."

Rainbow and Fluttershy eventually left the field and headed toward Ponyville for a stroll."So, what do you wanna do, Fluttershy?"

"Well, how's about we go eat something? I hear the food shops here are fantastic!"

"And you're absolutely correct! Come on, I know a perfect place to go," Rainbow said, then dropping to whisper, and leaned to Fluttershy's ear," at least if you want romance" The yellow coated pegasi just laughed heartily as they continued their walk through town.

"Wow Rainbow, this place is amazing...... hey, Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yes, Fluttershy?" Rainbow responded questionably as she  looked up from her plate.

"Why didn't you confess your feelings to me earlier?" Fluttershy answered with a small smile

"Because.....well....because I was afraid of how you would react."

"Oh Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy started with a laugh,"Believe it or not, I've had the same feelings for as you for me, and well...I was afraid of how YOU would react!"  For another moment, the two simply stared at each other before going into a duet of laughter.

"Hahaha.....laugh it up while you can Rainbow, because soon, your duet of laughter will be shared with me!" Twilight had been watching the two from around a corner near the entrance, when a hostess came up to her.

"Uh Princess, are you planning on eating here?"

"OH! Uh yes, table for-

"HEY TWILIGHT!!!!!!"

"Ugh Pinkie! You know we can't let them know i'm here!", Twilight whispered to her partner,"Anyway, table for two please."

"Yes of course your highness, right this way!" The hostess replied, leading the two toward a booth.

"Twilight, you know you're supposed to look at the menu, not at another table!"

"Pinkie please! I'm only here to watch those two, by the way, did you get a hold of AJ?

"Yes actually! She'll be by the castle tomorrow afternoon!"

"Fantastic! My plan is coming along like gold!"

"Twilight! If your plan was gold we could use it to pay for dinner!"

"UGH!!!!!"
