Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Indigo. Violet. Black.....
You wake up but you're eyes refuse to open. Your breath is slow but it shakes. Still. Tired of being still you decide to move but something feels strange....wrong. You feel fur rub against a dirt ground as you shake. But you weren't wearing a fur coat before. How mysterious. You finally open your eyes. You open them slow and hesitantly. You are still dazed but use whatever strength you have left to open them.
The sunlight burns your eyes, making your vision foggy. Taking a deep breath in you inhale the air. It's clean. Fresh. It gives you the energy you need to get up. You place your right hand on the ground but it feels weird. Why can't you feel our fingers. And why did your hand make a clopping sound. You're eyes shift upwards and you don't see hands. The first thing you see is a...hoof!
"OH MY GOD!" you yell and tumble up. You stare at your hooves in awe. "I'm a....a pony" you whisper to yourself in a fearful tone. You then move your hoof over to your head. "I'm...a....unicorn?" You say to yourself questionably.
Wait a second. Who in the world keeps narrating everything i do?
Me, oh you don't need to worry about that.
"Ack! Wait. Y-you can HEAR me?" You look rather puzzled, my friend. Well there's no use standing around. The FIRST thing you should do is go ask questions. You see that town in the distance? "Yeah...That's ponyville" Well go there and talk to somepony. Introduced yourself. Make a....friend.
This voice is unbearable!
I'm not that bad. Now go on!
You get up and trot over. Though you expected it to be quite hard, you got the hang of it quite quickly. You start off slow but slowly speed up until your trot turns into a gallop. You're quite fast aren't you?
You arrive in the centre of town in a matter of minutes. Friendly faces smile and wave at you. And though you return the greetings, you still feel out of place. Then, suddenly, you feel breath on the back of your neck. You slowly turn around.
A pink, smiling face. Poofy hair. Blue eyes as clear as water. There's only one pony that fits that description perfectly, and that's the element of laughter: Pinkimina Dianne Pie.
"Hey!" Squeals the pink pony, "I've never seen you in town before. What's your name?"
You introduce yourself timidly, telling her your name and more importantly, how you got here. As you tell your story pinkie pie nods, taking in every last detail you give to her.
Pinkie pie stokes her chin, "Well, that was definitely....interesting? The only world I know that's even remotely similar to that is..." She looks behind her and her face suddenly lit up, "the world twilight went to, to retrieve her crown!" she neighs and brushes her hooves along the ground, "follow me! I'll take you to Twilight's castle. She made a working portal using magic that can transport you to that world! Maybe if you ask politely she'll let you use it!"
She hops north and you follow, smiling at how nice and friendly she is. The only problem is, the world she knows about, isn't yours. The world Pinkie is talking about is the world of Equestria girls!
Yes, I know that! But...maybe she has a book in her library that could help me. Even a little bit. A book on transporting through world's. Or, a book on making your own portal, perhaps?
Well I suppose its worth a shot.
You two eventually arrive at Twilight's castle. Pinkie pie stops and turns towards you to speak, "this is it, Twilights humble abode! Don't worry though, she's super duper nice and always helps ponies in trouble" she says with big, twinkling eyes, "well I gotta go. Gummy, my pet alligator, and I are going to bake the bestest cupcakes in the world and I can't wait a minute longer. See you later! Also, good luck!" And with that you are left alone to tell the princess of friendship of this little pickle you're in.
I can't believe I'm going to meet Twilight Sparkle! I hope she believes me.....here I go.
You push the heavy crystal door open. You enter, take in a deep breath and walk on in.
The hall is cold and empty. The door shuts behind you causing a loud sound that echoes through the hallway. As you trot to the entrance to the throne room, your hoofsteps echo behind you. The floor is hard and smooth loo ice.
How does Twilight live in these conditions?!
You find the entrance to the throne room. You peek inside and two familiar equines are sat down and in the middle of a discussion. You perk your ears and listen.
"I don't know Zecora, why don't you just cut the poison joke?"
"I may still touch those leaves of blue, and that hysterical disease will infect me too. I have too much things that need to be done, I have no time for sicknesses of fun. So leave this to me, don't worry princess. Now can you get me that magical essence."
"You mean this glittery one?"
"Indeed I do, and pass me those brown and green herbs too"
The two voices belonged to none other than Zecora zebra and Twilight Sparkle. You don't feel like you're in any position to interrupt but you step in timidly, "umm....hello? Twilight?"
The two ponies turn to you. Zecora looks at you mysteriously and Twilight gives a confused smile. she gets up off her throne and walks towards you. She greets with a, "Uh, hello. I don't meant to be rude but...who are you?"
You take in a deep breath. You thoroughly explain your situation. Twilight stares at you, raised eyebrow, while Zecora glares suspiciously. Twilight shakes her head and before she gets a chance to talk you quickly interrupt to clear things up, "Wait! And before you ask, I did NOT come from the portal world" you say in a raised voice, "In my world people are not rainbow coloured. They're white-uh, peachy, brown and in lighter or darker tones or, uh, r-really pale! And-and, peoples natural hair. Its never pink, purple or....or RAINBOW! They're brown, black, blonde and red. Okay? And lastly...magic doesn't exist!" your breath is heavy, your heartbeat is so loud, I wouldn't be surprised if they COULDN'T hear it. This is all too much, too overwhelming for poor, little old you.
Twilight looks at you with a very concerned expression and Zecora rises from the throne to walk over to you. The mysterious zebra strokes your hair gently. Twilight clears her throat, "I...I'm so...confused. I know you're telling the truth, I can see it in your eyes" she says walking closer to you, "but I have no idea of where your talking about, a-and I have even less of a clue of where in the world this place could be?" she sits down on the ground with a very focused face. Zecora goes over to the throne she was previously sat on. There is a brown, large saddle bag perched on the throne with the cutie mark of element of honesty, Applejack. She reaches inside the bag and retrieves a glass with a milky white liquid inside.
Hey, I remember that potion.
Zecora then approaches you. Twilight looks at you two, confused, "what are you going to use that for Zecora?"
Zecora smiles, "Drink this potion and it may show, the world you came from that we do not know"
She brings the potion over to your mouth. You grab hold of it and drink it slowly. Its creamy and thick. It slides down your throat. Its warm. The taste is strong but you can't quite put your finger on what it tastes like. Its definitely a new flavour, nothing like you've tried before. You pull it away and hand it to Zecora. You lick your lips. You can feel the substance settle In your stomach....
Nothing happens. You turn to Zecora with a worried expression "I-I don't feel anything! Does this not work for somepeop-"
White......Black.....
