AppleJack's POV
"Come on AppleJack! It's time to get up! I don't want you getting yelled at by Granny Smith again..."
Hello, I'm AppleJack, and that there talking is my lil sister, Applebloom, my lil hay of joy. Yesterday was one of Pinkie's parties, again. I don't recall what she called it this time... somethin' like "One Week Pasted From Last Party, Party"? I don't know, but can't question it...
What? She's Pinkie Pie! Everypony should know this by now...
Anyways, that party she through, let's just say, she really out did herself. It was amazing! So fun and memorable... That's a real party, making it memorable... Well, she out did her self so much, I wasn't able to get an hour of sleep because I was up so late!
"Sis! Come on!"
"Alright, alright, hold your horses, I'm going..."
Applebloom, she can be a pain in the hind sometimes... Y'all probably know how it's like if you have an younger sibling, maybe older. But you'll also know that you care about each other no matter what..
"Ugh, alright sugar cube, I'll meet you down stairs"
"Sure thing AppleJack! Oh, and I need to ask you somethin'.." I turn my attention to her.
"Can I go camping with Sweetie Belle and Scootalo?? I promise I will do it! Please say yes! Please please please PLEASE!" Great, she's using those dark and deadly puppy dog face again....
"Sure, but, uh, who's gonna watch you??"
"Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and FlutterShy! It will be a lot of fun! Trust me, we are in good hooves"
I chuckled a little, sometimes she can be so adorable, "I know, you can go."
"Thanks sis!!" She rushes over to wrap her little legs around me, so adorable!
"No prob sis, but please be careful when you're crusading with your-" My eyes widen as I saw Applebloom's mouth open wide. That could only mean one thing...
I quickly cover my ears before she yells at my face.
"CAMPING CUTIEMARKS YEAH!!!!!!" And just like that, she run off to her little friends.
"-Friends.." I can still hear my ears ring even when I cover them. Kids...
I smile looking out the window.
I shrugged it off, this is what I have to deal with. I'm use to it already so why should I complain? Kids gotta be kids after all!
"Alright.. Time for chores!"
Rainbow Dash POV
Pain...
That's all I can feel...
It hurts badly...
I looked around to see if anypony see anything, only to lay my eyes on a pair of orange hooves.
"Rainbow Dash?"
"Apple... Jack?... Is that y-you?" I smile, trying to make it seem it's ok, she frowns. She's the element of honest, she can see through lies.
"Heh, it's been a while huh? How's the f-family?-"
"Nows not the time to make small talk Dash... Why were you sleeping-" I feel tears forming in the corner of my eyes. The pain is it getting worst.
"Rainbow? A-Are you alright?" She starts to get concern. She probably saw them already. Damn tears man...
She looks around me to check if everything is alright, until she sees my wings. Her eyes widens.
"Oh no, this is all my fault! I'm so sorry! I-I didn't mean to injure your wing! I-I-I-I-it's- oh my Celestia, please forgive me!" By the time she told me that, it sounds like my wings look really bad, no, it FEELS really bad! It hurts like hell! I look behind to see what it looks like now. My eyes widen..
"O-oh my Celestia...." My wing.
It looked completely ruined...

AppleJack POV
"Alright Rainbow, the doctor said you'll be staying here for two weeks"
"Two weeks of no flying?! Great..." She sighs and looks the other way.
I frown at her, she can be a pain at times.
I walk over to her. "Rainbow, I know you hate this, but this is for the best. I care about you Dash, a LOT"
She smiles, I swear I love when she does that, it's like staring at an angel sent from the heavens.
"Thanks Aj, you're an awesome friend, I'm glad you came into my life... A-as a friend, not like, you know.." She blushes. So adorable! I love it...
"I know what you mean, and like I said... I care about you a lot... A whole lot... More than ANYTHING in the world... Like, a lot..." I look down trying to hide my blush. She raises her eyebrow, she's not getting what I'm trying to tell her... Maybe if I... Nah to much, how about...
I move my hoof to hers. "Rainbow, I care about you more than anyone or anything else in all of Equestria..." She's been taken back by this and turns more red than before.
"T-Thanks Aj! It means a lot coming from you... But, why are you telling me this? I'm confused..." I blink twice. Is she for real?
"Oh my Celestia Rainbow, you can be so clueless sometimes.."
"Huh? What do you mean-?"
"Bye RD! Hope you feel better soon!" I closed the door.
I shouldn't have done that. I feel worst now, first I hurt her, than I slam the door on her... I'm an horrible friend, but I just don't know what happened... I guess I freaked out a little to much.
AppleJack POV
Sigh. I feel alone. All I'm thinking about right now is Dash. How come I was so blind to see my true feelings to her? I need somepony to talk to... Twilight? Yeah, maybe-! Oh wait, camping, right...
I can't go to Granny Smith or Big Macintosh because they're gonna say somethin' like, "It's not right to be with a mare, you should be ashamed!"... I don't know what to do...
I guess I'm on my own... But, I don't know if I could tell her... Maybe I could tell her when she's out of the hospital... Wait... What if she doesn't like me back?! W-What if I tell her, and she gets all stressed out?! Oh no, I can't do this. I just can't! I guess I'll have to keep these feelings to myself... I really don't like the sound of that, but...
I just don't want to risk our friendship RD...
I start to cry, why is this so hard?! Why make it hard to do something?! WHY CAN'T I JUST TELL HER?! I fall to the ground and continue to let my tears roll down my cheeks. Why? Why?! WHY?! I hit the ground with my right hoof repeatedly.
2 hours passed, and I finally calm down, I look up, only to see that I'm at the edge of a cliff. I guess I was so caught up on my emotions that I wasn't concentrating on where I was going..
"W-Where am I?" I look down. Bad idea.
My eyes widen. I was so high up and immediately backed up. When I looked behind me, I started to get more scared.
12 timberwolves comes out of nowhere, looking like they all haven't eaten in days. That's never a good sign. Just to make things worst, they were running towards ME!
I ran back to where I was, only to stop when I realized I was back at the edge of the cliff.
I'm so close to death. I have two choices, One, get eaten by hungry pack of Timberwolves and suffer a slow and painful death, or two, jump off the cliff to get away... Yeah I'm going with the second...
I closed my eyes before saying out five words...
"I love you, Rainbow Dash"
I jumped...
Rainbow Dash POV
"What? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?!"
Aj was hurt. Oh man, what's going on?! I need answers! I have to find her!
"Where is she?! Tell me what the hell happened to her!
"Ms. Dash, please, calm down. I don't know exactly what happened to her, she's still unconscious. You must have patiences Ms. Dash and stay calm. All, or probably all, your answers will be questioned at the end of the day..."
"Ok, you're right. But I can't wait that loooonnnnnggggg~" I groaned
"Patient Ms. Dash" He sighs. "Patient..." And walks away.
"Uggghh! AppleJack!" I moan. "This is so dumb! Because of my stupid injures I can't see how my bae is doing!... Wait what?"
Did I just called bae? Nope... Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope.. Nope. NOPE. This is NOT happening, why did I say "bae"?! This is weird... AppleJack... Bae?.... Oh hell no! I ain't having this, this is crazy! I'm not lesbian.... Am I? Well, AppleJack is kinda cute... Nice mane, and coat... Eyes.... Flank- WHAT?!
My face turns dark red. What The HELL?! What's wrong with me? W-why am I like this? Am I starting to like Aj? M-me and her.. We are just friends.. Nothing more... Right? A knock is at the door. It opens and I see the nurse. Ugh, what is it now?! I'm trying to think!
"Ms. Dash, your friend is awake, would you like to see her?"
Wait what? She's awake?! "Mm? Oh! Y-yes! Please..."
The nurse smiles at me. "Alright!"
AppleJack POV
"Alright, let's see here..." I looked down on a clip broad that I was holding on to. |
"Water the plants; check!
Wash up pigs; check!
Buck all the trees on the east side; check!"
I looked up from my clip broad to see everything just the way it is. Until I laid my eyes on one tree that has been untouched.
"Weird, I could have swore I did all of them..." I walked over to the tree and notice something. I heard a soft breath... I'm not sure what it was, but my first thought was just to buck it.
I whispered to myself, "I swear to Celestia, if it's any more fruit bats, I'll make sure they leave for good..."
I turn around and lift my hind legs, building up my strength. And just with a hard buck, I hear someone fall down..
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I turned to the voice I heard from behind, only to see a blue coated, rainbow mane, pegasus... Lying there... In so much pain... Because of me...

AppleJack POV
"R-Rainbow!!! I-I'm so s-sorry! I-I didn't mean to do this to ya! I swear!"
I start to cry like a lil baby, I feel so weak... I still can't believe I did this to my own gal.. Ma best friend... A gal that I... I... I love so very... Wait, what am I saying? Am I blushing?! What the hay is goin' on?! I look down, that wing of hers... I bet y'all every time I look at them, this is what I get the feeling of... Guilt, because I, one of her closest friends, hurt her badly... However, she could always forgive me right? Right..? I mean, this was by accident right? I'm sure she'll understand... I hope....
Rainbow Dash POV
Darn it AppleJack! This Bucking hurts! Ugh, what are you? Blind?... No, no I shouldn't be saying that, it was an accident. She would never do this to me, her best friend!
"Aj, w-what were you thinking?? D-didn't you see me?" I tried to speak through the pain , it isn't really easy to talk without you screaming..
"I-I didn't see you! I'm so so so so so so so so SOOO SORRY-!"
"Calm down, I forgive you, I'm fine-"
"FINE?! Rainbow, your wing looks like it got ran over by a thousand cows! And you're here saying you're alright?!"
"Look, Aj, I've got into many, MANY, injuries from crashing down.. This? This is nothing! I think... Anyways, you have nothing to worry about!" I try to get up, but I fall back down.
"Sugarcube, let me help you" she comes over to me and helps me get up. She's really a great friend to have... Wait, is she blushing? Why the hell would she start blushing at a time like this?
Eh, probably nothing important... Right?
AppleJack POV
"Alright Rainbow, take it easy, I'm sure the doctor will-"
"What do mean by "DOCTOR"?! Are we going to the hospital? Oh HECK no! I am not going to that hell ever AGAIN! I-it's horrible!"
"Rainbow, they can all help you feel better! Get you back in shape! Stop being a little kid and grow up already!!!"
"But it will take WEEKS, no, MONTHS, wait, YEARS for me to go back home!" I wince a little as she yelled, she's only proving my point on the little kid comment.
"Rainbow, I swear, you make it sound like the doctors and nurses over there are evil monsters with sharp knifes, now start walking before I drag ya over there!" And just like that, she sighs and starts walking, well more like limping, apparently the fall also hurt her hoof.
Sigh, I really wish I was the one on that tree, I can't bare watching a dear friend of mine suffer.
I turn my head to her right wing, aka, her injured wing. I remember on a snowy night, I was cold as a timber wolf's heart. When Dash saw I was cold, she came over to me and wrapped that same injured wing around me. It was magical...
Why am I like this? Why does my heart feel much more warmer than usual when I talk about her? Why do I feel lighter than usual...? Am I starting to have feelings for Rainbow Dash? No, this have started a while ago, when she wrapped her wings around me... Nah, this is ridiculous! Mares can't love each other! It's not natural! It's not right! It's down right wrong!
I look over to Rainbow's face, she is quite beautiful... Ok, maybe I do like her... More than I should....
