Every day it's the same exact thing. I wake up, Get what ever is in my eyes out of it, And head to my computer and troll on the 4chan boards and then head back to sleep.
I still lived with my parents, As I did not have a job yet. It wasn't because I was lazy, It's just the way the economy is right now. Although my parent's didn't seem to care. I wasn't really good at anything either, So naturally nobody really wanted me to do anything for them anyways.
Today was different though. My parents had finally made use of me! I was ordered to get groceries, I guess as an excuse to get me out of the house. I wasn't used to leaving the house, Since the entirety of my days had been inside since I graduated.
The sun was bright. As I walked out it felt as though the rays of the sun were piercing my skin and melting the skin away. It also did a number on my eyes which I couldn't see out of for a few seconds. After a minute of recollecting myself I began my walk down the street and towards Wal-Mart.
"Milk, Butter, Eggs... Milk, Butter, Eggs... Milk... God damnit!" I get one job, A very simple job I might add! But I just cant do it!
I threw my head down but quickly lifted it back up to realize that everyone was staring at me. I just said all of that out loud outside of a Wal-Mart. I quickly walked towards the entrance embarrassed and continued with my job.
All of that embarrassment seemed to jog my memory. I got the milk butter and eggs! I headed over to the checkout line and bought my items. I began to leave, but I saw something out of the corner of my eyes. I turned around and saw a big group of people outside all looking at something in the middle. I couldn't see anything from where I was standing, But I decided it must be interesting if all of those people are crowded around like that! I walked over, Upon further inspection I saw a large sign in the middle of the crowd that I made out to say "Free Kittens"
Wow I just wasted about 2 minutes trying to get in the middle of a crowd just to see a bunch of kittens?!?!?! Why are people so interested in this!?!?
"EVERYBODY STAND BACK! I WILL TAKE A LOOK AT THE CREATURE MYSELF!" I turned around to see a heavy weight man with a long curly grey beard pushing through the group. If I didn't know any better I would have thought he was Santa Claus in a business suit!
He cuts through and picks up something that looked to be like a big pink marshmallow with hair.
"I SHALL BE TAKING THIS FOR MYSELF IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE AND RESEARCH!" The big man walked away from the crowd still carrying the pink thing. As he passed by you looked at the pink creature closer. "Pinkie Pie...? No. No. That's impossible." It has a sad look on its face and it's hair was straight down. That immediately put me in a depressed mood. But I knew that wouldn't be the last I would be seeing of her. For the next morning I was awoken to the sounds of confused shouting. I ran downstairs to see what the problem was. My parents stood there yelling at the TV, I was immediately curious so I looked and what I saw shocked me!
On the screen there was a picture of the pink creature from yesterday which now upon further examination was in fact Pinkie Pie! It had that saddening face on again that it had had when I first saw it in that man's possession!
"Who the hell is this clown?" My Father snorted. "Probably some asshole trying to get us to buy whatever that is." My Mother replied. "What ever the hell that thing is in his hands looks like a demon spawn! I hope he's just going to put it in its place and be done with it."
Hearing those words come out of my Fathers mouth hurt me. I thought it was amazing that somebody had found a cartoon pony in real life! And to see it with my own eyes yesterday... It pained me that I didn't speak up, Or even just take it! Nobody else did anything! I'm sure I could have just walked right in and grabbed it and ran with no consequences.
Although I never have liked the Friendship Is Magic series, This was just to big of an opportunity to pass up! A cartoon character, In real life! Who wouldn't want that? I decided to devote the rest of the day to research on how such a thing was possible.
By research I meant catching up on MLP to figure out why people enjoy the show so much. I got through them all and let me tell you, I LOVE THEM! Now I understand the big uproar about it on 4chan! I can't believe I judged this show for so long...
"MIKE GET DOWN HERE AND LOOK AT THIS BULL SHIT! IT'S GETTING WORSE!" I bolted out the door and down the stairs and saw my mother and father surrounding the TV again my father yelling very loudly "DEMON SPAWN I'M TELLING YOU!" I looked at the screen on it was a picture of a mutilated corpse that was cut open from the top part of the chest to the lower pelvic area being covered up with a white sheet. What was next to it was even more disturbing.
Two of their lungs placed parallel a few feet apart from each other. A few feet below in the middle his heart. And below all of that their large and small intestines were bound together and spread out in a crescent sort of shape. Looking at it closely it resembled a face smiling and next to it was a sentence written with blood "Life's a Party!" With this my mother turned the TV off.
"DEMONS! GOD DAMN DEMONS!" My father then ran out the door dragging my mother along behind him. They both got in the car and left me alone. No matter how much the people believed it was Pinkie who did this I could not accept this fact!
After more research on this news report it was indeed the man I had seen outside of Wal-Mart the other day. The owner.. Well... Former owner of Pinkie who had been killed. Pinkie was no where to be found at the scene. The news report had made it seem like it was all the little pink pony's fault. It couldn't be true though! Somebody must have killed him and taken Pinkie out of jealousy! I can't let them believing what this news is telling them!
So I set off on my quest to find the true murderer who killed Pinkies owner.
