Frozen Heart

Alot can happen in three years.

New life is born, and old life dies.

Just like dreams...

I look forward towards the approaching army being lead by the four princesses and can't help but wish it was different.

That they saw me different, and not as a monster.

"Why" I whisper softly. 'Why couldn't you like me', I draw my sword.

Memories played in front of me as they drew near.

Of a life that is no longer my own, of a family left behind, of a chance of happiness they destroyed.

'I... I just .. wanted to be strong.. and have friends' a single tear falls down my cheek as they order the approaching army to attack.

A wave of ice freezes the first wave of creatures. They shatter like glass.

'Things where suppose to be different' I bit my lip. A dragon falls on some troops as a spear of ice impales it.

'I tried so hard' thinking of how I had frozen Terik solid.

'But in the end I'm just a monster to them' more and more of the army attacks only to be frozen.

'I guess that this is all I can be now', my blade cuts down a royal guard.

Its just me and the princesses now.

Four blades surround me, each held by a princess.

'I wish... things could have been different'

The blades draw near, each held with bloodlust for my death.

'I guess it all ends the same' I grin

"Trump card: Mahapadma" I whisper as time freezes.

I make a small cut on each of them then smile as time resumes.

The blades enter me and I know I shall die soon.

I give one last smile as my body freezes and shatters leaving no trace except for the destruction caused by a broken heart.

'Goodbye'
