Ch. 1: When One Life Ends, Another Life Begins
As I ran for my life all I could think about was what I left behind and you what? I don't give a shit. That was a horrible life and a miserable existence for me and i'm only 14 for fuck-sake. It shouldn't be this way but hey I guess life just like to kick me in the balls then huh? Anyway as i'm running for my life and I see the cliff over looking the lake.
I stop and walk over to the cliff and look over the edge and there at the bottom are a shit ton of sharp rocks, I then looked at the scene in front me. The moon is out and over looking the lake. Brightening the sky with it's majestic glow and as the lake reflected the moons image and the stars where lighting the way for any lost soul, I guess that means me in a way.
I then heard a noise I could only described as a rumbling sound. It then it got louder and louder and louder till I could really hear it and there only one vehicle that come's to mind when I think of that sound.
"OH SHIT THAT'S MY DADS TRUCK" I mentally screamed as I was panicking to find a place to but then I thought.
"Screw it, I'll just make a run for it he can't just run me over Right? right?"
I then turned away from the incoming noise to run but as soon as I did coming over was a hill was a 2010 F250 Crew Cab 4X4 and that wasn't the only truck there, there were at-least two more right behind it as they approached my location.
They began to surround me, when they stopped they were no more then 50 feet away from me, when the dust they kicked up settled they got out of there trucks but the truck in the middle is the one I feared the most: my old man, he was in his mid to late 40's and a rather large man maybe 6 ft 1, he was easily 245 pounds no doubt about that but he was very stocky person and could easily kick my scrawny ass.
"Well here we are, Did ya think ya can just run away? and We never find ya? Did you really think that boy?" my father said ("Oh GOD. I hate calling him that. He is no way in HELL a father and never will be!")
"Yeah. You know what I did, I'm not living with you anymore old man and there nothing you can do to stop me!!" I said with a little force in my voice, making him do a double take and then after about 10 seconds started laughing his ass off.
"Do.....you.....really think.....you can survive out there on your own without me?" he said trying to get back the air the lost laughing.
"Yeah. You know what I can old man, if I can put up with your Bullshit then I sure as Hell can take on the world outside this small ass town, Oh and guess what old man?" I said really getting his attention
"And what that little jimmy" he said with a toothy smile of whatever teeth he had left("thank you tobacco for making my old man look on the outside what he is on the inside").
"First: Don't call me Jimmy, you lost that right. Second: I'm leaving whether you or Denise("My Mother") like it or not but frankly I couldn't care less how you feel about quite frankly, And lastly: you'll NEVER EVER see my ass again, i'm done with you, I would rather die then go home with you and that hellhole of a "home". I stated to Jake("My father")
"Really? You would Die? Then come home somewhat safely?" He asked me as i nodded. "Oh well suits yourself then" It was then he glared at me and started to walk towards me, not to mention he started to have an evil smile on his stupid face. "Let it be known. I gave ya a choice boy. But you just wouldn't listen to reason" He said one last time before going into his lather jacket and pulling out of his shoulder holster a Smith and Weston Model 686 Plus .357 Magnum with Hollow points in all seven chambers.
He stopped no more then 8 feet away from me as i was standing near the cliffs edge as i was backing away as he moved forward. He then raised his gun at me as i looked at him in shock. "Your kidding right? You do this and it's murder and you'll go to prison" I said to him as he just shook his head.
"Nope. I don't think so" He said before looking at his friends and they all acted like nothing was going on till my Mother of all people got outta my former father's truck with tears in her eye like i could actually her sadness.
"Please Jakey don't, he's our son for God's sake. If he want's to leave, let him, this going too far" She pleaded with tears in her eyes but he wouldn't heard it.
"Not this time Honey. This little shit has disrespected me for the Last time" He said again pointing he weapon at me before pulling the trigger, the cylinder spun once to the next slot as the hammer came down on the striker pin and launched the heavy round straight into my right shoulder as i bellowed in pain and knocking my scrawny ass straight to the ground.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU MOTHER FUCKING COCK SUCKER" I yelled at him as I grabbed my shoulder my left hand and also not being able to feel my right arm like at all.
"Like i said kiddo you brought this on yourself" He said with a smile.
"Fuck. You." I said slowly and with venom in my words as I glared at him as he chuckled at me.
"Still got some fight in ya huh? That's good maybe you are my son after all" He said smirking at me.
"Trust me that's a relation i don't wanna have" I spat back as my shoulder bleed more and more as all feeling in it was long gone.
"Well here's a couple of parting gifts then" He said raising his gun again and shooting out my other shoulder as i again screamed in pain and fell onto my back with my backpack on.
"You piece of shit" I said through gritted teeth.
"Now to end this" He said walking over and picking me up by the front shirt and standing me up and so he pressed the barrel to my center chest, where my heart is, as i went wide eyed as i saw my mother run towards us trying to help but was too late.
He fired the gun as it ripped my insides apart and he shoved over the edge and i plumed to my sure death as I hit the water with a loud Splash.
"Your a Monster! you sack of shit" Denise said on her knees looking at where i had fallen from with tears in her eyes. "My baby is gone. AND IT'S ALL CAUSE OF YOU!" She screamed at him pointing a finger at him as he just walked away and she went with him to make sure he didn't kill again.
"He deserved it" Jake said under his breath.
As they walked away, Denise had tears in her eyes as she quietly mourned he dead child as, they got into there vehicles and drove off without even calling the Cops or Paramedics as i sank under the surface of the water, blood left my body in large amounts, i also had a few gashes on my sides and arms from the rocks that were at the bottom before i hit the water, i slowly started to feel death take me and ease my suffering but as i felt sleep's cold grip there was a light in my vision but as it got brighter i fell into unconsciousness but heard something or Someone.
"You will be safe again little one, I promise" I heard a sweet motherly voice say right before passing out.
Fluttershy's Cottage
As the day went on for a curtain Butter-yellow coated Mare with long beautiful pink mane and tail. She spent the last hour feeding her animals and watering her garden of flowers and fresh Veggies and fruits.
When all of a sudden there was a large light not too far from where she was and jumped at the sight and hid till it was gone and poked her head out and took a look around with her Pet Angle Bunny "Angle".
"Um h-hello?" She called out wondering whom or what made that light. She walked till she came up to a body of a young colt or so she thought in anyway.
"Oh My Goodness!" She yelled as she ran over and checked his wounds and there were quite a few with two holes in his shoulder's and gashes all over him looked like he got into a fight with the earth and the earth won.
She did what she could for the moment but she reluctantly picked him up and brought him inside to take care of his wounds and to make sure they wouldn't get infected and that he would be okay.
"Oh i hope he'll be okay, He's soo young. Why was he out there alone? and without his dad or herd to be with him. Don't they know it's dangerous for a colt his age" She said to herself as she looked over the colt and finish dressing his wounds, she looked him over she remembered that he also had a backpack with him when she found him, and had forgotten about it and ran outside to retrieve it and brought it back to him to make sure he had everything he had with him when he got here.
3 hours later at Fluttershy's cottage
As the hours passed Fluttershy had contacted her friends and they were due to arrive an a few minutes as She paced her living room thinking of what might happen to the poor colt.
"Oh i hope they don't hate him or look at him as a freak or anything." She said to herself as she heard a knock on the door and went to open it . And when she did it revealed 6 Adult mares and a late teenage dragon.
"Hey Girl's, Hey Spike" She said in happily as she let her friend's in.
"Hey Fluttershy" Twilight said as she walked in.
"Heya Flutters" Rainbow said smiling as she walked by.
"Howdy Fluttershy" AppleJack said tipping her stetson at her walking inside.
"Hello Darling" Rarity said smiling and giving Fluttershy a hug as she walked by.
"Hey Fluttershy" Starlight said walking in to the room.
"Hey Fluttershy" Spike said walking into her home.
As they entered there was one missing.
"Um here's-" Fluttershy was completely cut off by a pink blur tackling her to the ground with a loud "Boom!"
"Hiya Fluttershy" The pink mare said with a very large smile as they both picked themselves up as they dusted themselves off.
"So where's this colt you mentioned fluttershy?" Twilight asked as she looked at her with a quizzical look in her face.
"Oh well he's upstairs but he's not a pony from what i saw of him" She said.
"Then what the hay is he then?" Rainbow asked confused.
"I guess we should go and find out. Right Twilight?" Starlight asked as Twilight nodded.
"Yes. All friendships start by meeting new people" She said sounding more and more like Celestia everyday.
The group then decided to let Fluttershy lead them up the stairs and into he's room to which was her guest room.
She slowly opened the door and they walked in quietly and started to look him over and most of the group had sad looks on there faces but as for RD and AJ. They had looks of anger as they couldn't believe that a colt as young as he was in this state as there fist's clenched and Starlight held onto Twilight as she felt comfort with the larger and taller alicorn.
"What happened to him Fluttershy?" Twilight said looking at the badly hurt colt
"I don't know. There was a bright light, i hid till it was gone, i went to where the light appeared and found him" She said explaining everything that had happened
"Well we should wait till he awakens" Twilight said as she sat down on the ground and waited as did everypony else did so as well
Another 2 hours later
As the Element's waited for the young colt to awaken, Applejack had spoken up.
"So what in tarnation are we do when he does wake up?" She asked looking at her friend's till Twilight answered.
"We ask him who he is and hopefully go from there and see what we can do to help the poor thing" She responded to her friends question.
As the friends sat there making small talk as the day went by and yet he still hadn't awoken and so the friend decided it was best to leave him be and try again tomorrow but as they were about to leave they heard some rustling in the bed and when they looked to see what was the matter the young one was thrashing about acting as if he is being attack by something or someone.
Inside Jimmy's mind: 1st person view
As i laid on the ground, blood coming out of my mouth and my ribs feeling as if someone had just taken a sledgehammer to them. Crawling away from the creature know as my Father. he continues to stalk me like pray with a sick twisted smile on his face and a murderous look in his eyes.
"So you really thought you could escape Huh?" He asked as if i could actually answer him considering i was on the ground in agonizing pain and could barely move.
"Fuck..............You.....................Prick" I said as i gasped for breath but then i felt as he picked me up and pinned me to the wall.
"I'm sorry what was that?" He asked still smiling at me as he slammed his fist once again into the left side of my rib-cage once again hearing a sickening cracks and snaps as the crickled and snapped under the pressure of the hit and as he repeated with the other side as well.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" I screamed as i once again fell to my knees holding my sides sobbing in pain as he just laughed at me.
"Your weak and you always will be weak you little shit. Your nothing to no one and trust me, there's no one anywhere that will want you. so best just to leave other's be, since all you are is piece of useless shit" He said as he laughed and kicked me right in the stomach and with that force add to the rest of my broken body as i sap up more blood as i clenched my teeth trying to subside the pain in a futile effort.
"Fuck you. I maybe weak. But your Weaker for picking on the weak to make yourself feel strong" I said with a look of hate as i stared at him.
He then threw me to the ground and I landed flat on my back. He then walked over and stood beside me as he still had that stupid evil smile on his face. He then lifted his left boot up and started to press it to my chest with force.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed in pain as he applied more force and pressure to my chest.
"BE GONE NIGHTMARE SPAWN!" A voice rang loudly as my father disappeared and the surrounding area turned into a space-ish void and then a white light flashed quickly as a massive figure appeared and ran over to me and from what i could definitely tell she was female from her massive chest but right now that mattered little to me as i had a crushed rid cage and possibly if not more then likely had several very bruised organs.
"W-who are Y-you" I said in a low and shaky voice.
She smiles at me. "I am Princess Luna, young colt. Here let me heal you" She said as her ("Horn!?") started to glow a dark blue and the same color Aura surrounded me and within seconds i was completely healed.
"Wow. How did you?" I asked as she smiled at me and helped me up and at full height, I'm only 5'9", But this Woman was almost 8 feet tall. So now i feel even more weak since I'm literally standing in front of a Goddess like chick who also looks to be part equine or an evolved form of there four legged counter-parts.
"What is your name young one?" Luna asked me.
"I'm Jimmy. Jimmy Peterson" I responded
"Well, it is nice to meet you" She said with a smile. "But I'm sorry we had to meet under the circumstances" She added growing sad.
"Don't worry. I'm used to these nightmares" I said
"What thou mean "Used to these nightmare's"?" She asked confused
"It means what it means, I'm used to having the nightmare you just ended every night since i was little" I said looking her in the eyes, and they were a very beautiful turquoise color as i looked into them with my light brown eyes, and sat down as she did the same.
"So what are you?" I asked her.
"Well. I am a Pony and to be specific I'm an Alicorn. Young colt" She said smiling at me.
"Huh. An anthro pony and from what i know of my old childhood friends when i would sleep over i heard stories about Alicorn's and how there a combination of normal ponies, pegasus and unicorn's." I said as i looked at her while she had a look of shook. "What?"
"That's absolutely right. How do you know all this?" She Asked.
"Well there apart of children's books and fiction. Meaning that meeting you is scientifically impossible" I said smiling at her.
Luna started to laugh lightly. "Well i could guess the same for you then. What are you anyway?"
"Human" I said simply.
"Interesting. Well i need to be off now. I'm sorry i can't stay but everypony else needs me to help them sleep." She said with an apologetic look but I just waved her off.
"It's fine. Don't worry about me. I'll survive. i always do" I said with a smile as she returned it.
"Well there are quite a few ponies and a dragon awaiting you to wake up. So please don't be scared when you meet them. There a very nice bunch" She said as she started to glow and disappear. when she did the world around me started to fade as i once again felt myself regaining control over my actual body.
Back to the real world
I slowly stirred awake as i felt my eye would never open. so i used most of my will to open them and as i did i hear something. A voice.
"Hi" Said a pink pony that was practically laying on me but i didn't feel pain. I then looked her over and damn was she beautiful like i mean big breast's, large ass and she look so adorable it's insane and low and behold she was wearing yoga pant's ("Thank You God").
"Um Hi?" I asked hoping they understood me and from the looks i was given i'm sure they did.
"You can speak our language?" A very tall and large lavender mare said.
"Um Yes?" I also questioned as she smiled widely.
"Oh Wonderful" She said with glee.
"Ookay then. Can someone please tell me where the hell i am?" I asked them
"Well your in my friend Fluttershy's cottage. she found you laying with your stuff unconscious and brought you here to keep you safe" The tall alicorn said as she brought the butter colored Pegasus forward.
"Well i guess all i can say is Thank you Fluttershy" I said gratefully with a smile as she smiled back from what i could tell as she hid her face with her mane.
"Y-your W-welcome" I heard her say but i could barely make it out.
"Well then everypony" The large alicorn said as she gestured to me. "Why don't we get to know our new friend" She continued as everyone nodded and walked towards me.
"Well let me introduce everypony" The alicorn said "Firstly I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle. Princess of Friendship" Twilight said smiling as i looked her over and she was wearing a white blouse and long purple skirt and a pair of glasses. basically trying and very much succeeding to look like a librarian.
"Princess?" I said thinking back to Luna but just waved it off and she continued.
"This here is my younger brother: Spike and he's about to turn 18" She said hugging the dragon teen.
"Aw come on Twi. Your embarrassing me in front of the new guy" The purple and green dragon said stand there in a purple hoodie, blue jeans and a pair tennis shoes.
Twilight giggled and moved on to someone else as Spike look flustered.
"This here is our very cowpony Applejack or AJ for short" Twilight said introducing her as the orange mare with blonde main and tail, stood there in the usually redneck attire: Stetson hat, Flannel button-down tide in a knot just above her midsection, daisy duke jeans and cowgirl boots. and to be quite honest. Country girls are way better then other's in my opinion.
"Howdy" Aj said, in her version of the southern drawl, as she tipped her hat to me.
"Well howdy yourself partner" I said smiling, i lived in the south for a little while and just never gave up the way they talked, as Aj smiles at me back happily.
"Next her we have Rainbow Dash" Twilight said introducing the Cyan blue Pegasus with the rainbow mane and tail, As she stood there in her dark blue tank top with a matching running jacket, Blue running pant's with a pair of Blue running shoes.
"Sup' Is all she said to me as she had a small glare at me that i noticed real quick.
"You can drop the glare sweetheart. I'm in no condition nor mood to deal with anyone's crap" I said really not liking her attitude and for Luna and the first few other's were really nice but for her to flat out be rude. Come on like i'm not gonna point it out.
'I'll keep it how ever long i wish. Till you earn my trust." She flat out shocking everyone in the room. So in response to her attitude i gave her the middle finger with a smile on my face as she then grew very angry at me.
"Like i said sweetheart. I'm in no Condition Nor Mood for this crap" I said as i lowered my hand and Twilight got Rainbow to calm down but was still glaring at me to which i rolled my eyes at her as Twilight walked over to her next friend.
"This here is our very own Fashionista. Rarity" Twilight said as the White unicorn mare stepped forward with a smile.
"Hello Darling" She said in a professional yet sweet voice and her voice Damn sure matched her body as she was drop dead Gorgeous, Hell everyone here even Rainbow Dash was extremely hot in there own way and Well let's just say my little "Friend" downstairs to notice and wanted a look but i fought the thoughts away but a certain Pink mare was still laying on me and smiled at me before leaning down and whispered to me.
"Don't worry. I can wait" Is all she said as a blush was now very noticeable but no one said a thing.
"W-well Miss Rarity. It's to meet you" I said, still kinda embarrassed from what the pink mare had just said to me, as rarity just giggled at me.
"Well darling. At least your a gentlecolt. That's always a good thing" She said as she gave me a smile and i did the same liking her complement.
"Next here we have my student and pupil, Starlight." Twilight introduced the unicorn mare and she had on a little purple shirt with blue jeans and a dark pink pair of tennis shoes.
"Oh um Hi." Starlight said getting nervous and i smiled at her.
"Hello yourself Starlight. It's a pleasure to meet you" I said holding my sincere smile to her as she smiled back more then likely happy to have a new friend.
"And last but not least is the mare who's been laying on you this whole time, Pinkie Pie Or just Pinkie" Twilight said as the pink mare giggled and just looked at me and i did the same as we laid there for a good 30 seconds before Twilight cleared her throat.
"Aw" The pink mare pouted as she got off me and the bed to stand next to Fluttershy.
"Well that's everypony here. Would you like to tell us who you are?" She asked me as i sat up on the bed.
"Well. My name is Jimmy Peterson. I am a human being from the planet Earth in the Milky way galaxy" I said as they all took interest till Twilight facepalmed. "What's wrong?"
"Lyra" She said as everyone did started to realize what she meant but i sure as hell didn't know.
"Look. Right now i really don't want to know. So can we move on?" I asked as Twilight nodded.
"Very Well. Now that everyone has been introduced. Does anypony have a question?" She asked looking around the room and no one spoke. To which i thought was weird as hell but didn't question it.
"Um i do." I said as Twilight looked at me with an excited smile.
"Yes?" She asked.
"Well. You said i'm in Fluttershy's cottage. Right?"
"Correct."
"Where is that exactly? And by that I mean what town or Country or Hell. Even World for that matter. I just want t know where i am. Cause i sure as hell know i'm not in my Town, State, Nor Country anymore and Damn sure not in my own world." I said going into detail of my lack of know where the hell i am.
"Well. Your in Ponyville. That's the towns name. Your also in Equestria. That's the Nation your in and also your on the Planet Equis." She explained.
"Okay. Thank you for that information. Now. I have another one. But it's mainly directed at Rainbow over there." I said looking at the Cyan mare with a straight face.
"Yeah? What do you want?" She asked still in her usual rude tone till Twilight glared at her and straightened up alittle.
"Like i said sweetheart. I'm in no mood nor condiction to deal with Bullshit. So. Here's my Question. Why isn't that Everyone here seem's to accept me with a smile and open arms. Yet you keep looking at me as if i'm a freak or a monster. My point being. Why does it seem you hate me without even knowing me?" I asked after my little rant.
"I don't hate you. I don't really hate anyone. It's just not in my nature." She said. Almost like she was waving me off.
"Then why the Fuck do you keep glaring at me as if i'm gonna go on a murderous rampage if you don't keep an eye on me? I asked now getting slightly pissed off.
"It's cause i don't trust you." She said as everyone looked at Rainbow with shock.
"That makes two of us sweetheart. In fact. I will say i like you all." I said getting them all to smile. "But. I don't trust any of you for shit. Except Fluttershy. Only cause she saved my life. Other then her. I don't any of you with even a pack of my Bubble gum." I finished rather harshly.
"W-why do you trust us?" Twilight asked feeling rather hurt by words.
"Because. I don't trust ANYONE! Old enough to be my older sibling or my Parent or Guardian." I replied.
The girl's, even rainbow, and spike look at me with a hurt look. I just help my straight face.
We all stood or sat there in a awkward silence for what seemed like forever. As time went by i started to think if i was too hard on them. I mean. Hell Fluttershy saved my sorry ass from bleeding to death so. They can't all be bad. Right?
I let out a sigh before speaking. "Look. i know i was alittle too harsh on you guys and we also just met. So. i guess i shouldn't be so quick to judge. I mean you guys smiling at me is a shit ton more then what i got back in my old world believe me. And not only that but you guys cared enough to see if i was okay and weather or not i would live or die." I explained as there expressions grew sad at my words.
"Were people in your world That cruel to you?" Twilight asked walking over, sitting on her knees, looking at me with concern.
"More than you will ever know." I said as i looked away from her only to be met with the sad expression of the cowgirl in the room.
"Ya poor thing. Come here." She said. Siting on the bed and giving me a Nice, Sweet and loving embrace. I slowly reached around her and hugged back.
I nuzzle my face into her chest. Feeling her strong and comforting arms around me. For the first time in a long time. I felt. Safe.
"Thank ya AJ." I said as i looked into her emerald green eyes with my dark blue one's.
"Your welcome sugarcube. Everypony deserves ta feel safe and were all sorry you had to go through what you had to alone." She said with a smile on here face.
All i can do is smile back and hug the cowgirl as everyone smiled at us.
"Well. It's getting late. We should go." Twilight said as she and her friends started to leave. All except the one i was currently hugging. "Um AJ? Were going." She added. Getting the Cowpony out of her daze.
"Huh? Oh sorry Twi. Musta lost ma focus fer a second." She said standing up and walking over to her friend and i sat there kinda sad.
"Um AJ?" I called to her as she turned to me with a smile.
"Yeah sugarcube?" She asked.
"Um. I know this is gonna sound weird but." I started as i grew nervous.
"What's wrong sugar?" She asked as she approached me again with concern.
"C-could Stay? With me? Tonight? i just feel more safe with you around. If you don't mind that is." I finally asked her. I looked away, not wanting to she her look of possible anger or disgust with me, but when i looked at her all she had was a smile on her muzzle.
"I'd be happy to sugarcube." She said as she walked back to me and i pulled the covers away so she could lay next to me.
Aj enters the bed and we lay down as she bring me into a warm embrace.
It's at this moment i start to forget my past and look to my future here. What will it hold? Who will i meet? Well. As long as there as nice as these girls were to me. I might just be to let go and move on with my life. But. Only time can truly tell.
As i hugged Applejack back, All i could feel was Love, Understanding, Care and the one thing i haven't felt in God knows how long. Safe.
As i let sleep take me all i could really think about is how lucky i am to have been sent here. I guess that Voice i heard before passing out was right. I am safe. For now at least.
I finally let sleep embrace me and send me away to a peaceful slumber as well as give me a sleep i can actually fell. Happiness.
