The year was 1978 a strange meteorite smashed into southern Indiana, United States unleashing insect like parasites that start taking over cities and building massive hives. Human militaries fought back but, were defeated in three years due to the enemies shear numbers. Within hours after the fall of human leadership socioty unravaled nieghbors took up arms against eachother and the insects.
In Equestria: The changelings have won, ponies have been enslaved and forced to help tear down thier once peacefull, happy land. A small resitence lead by Twilight and here friends have been forced to nothing more than hide and protect what they have but, when one pony wearing strange clothing burns an entire changling military camp to the ground the odds might start to shift in the pony's favor.
