Quentin's Run

by Matthew Stone
A cynical young man and a filly, start to form an unlikely relationship.

Many years in the future, an entirely-polluted Earth has been abandoned…but only one human still remains: a gruff young teenager named Quentin Malcolm. Years of trying to stay out of problems resulted in nothing but trouble for him, and so he chose to stay on Earth as everyone else left on spaceships in search of a new home for humanity.

What he WASN'T aware of, however, was the fact that the world leaders had unanimously decided that once they had left the planet, it would be blown up with a series of thermonuclear explosives, placed expertly at the world's many breaking points. And as the big-ass blue marble meets its demise, Quentin is content with meeting his death, for he doesn't see any reason to keep on staying around….

However, he wakes up on a distant planet, having been snagged from the brink of death by Eris and her sister Screwball. Join Quentin as he struggles to adjust to his new world, and its inhabitants, especially a certain trio of mares.
