A Trip to Canterlot
Writing for this fanfiction began on February 23, 2016, before Season 6 was aired. Any continuity errors should just be considered as being part of an alternative universe.
Our story begins in Canterlot, where Princess Celestia is sitting on her throne, with Princess Luna sitting next to her.
Princess Celestia gets up, and she stares in front of her. Luna looked at her sister, puzzled.
"What troubles you, sister?" Luna asked.
"Come" Celestia responded.
Celestia flew out of her throne and out of her castle, and Luna followed her lead. Celestia and Luna landed in front of the castle entrance. Every-pony who saw the sight of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna bowed before them. Celestia and Luna walked through Canterlot.
"Tell me, Luna, we are the princesses of Equestria? Are we not?"
"We are."
"And we are beloved by all who obey us."
"What is your point?"
"What I'm trying to say is that ever since we first became a prince and princess, we never had time to socialize. We were always sitting upon our thrones watching over the ponies of Equestria. We hardly spend any more time outside of the castle. What I would like us to do for once is to go out of the castle."
"But we do that sometimes, don't we?"
"True. But every-pony we see treats us like royalty. Well, we are royalty, but you get the picture. I feel like we've spent an eternity being beloved so much and watching over the ponies of Equestria that we are hardly even seen as normal anymore. I just wish we could just visit as normal ponies. We used to have friends of our own back when we were fillies, but those are memories, now. I just wish ... that we could pretend to be normal ponies just for a day, and no-pony would recognize us as royalty."
"It's not like we can shapeshift, I mean we're not changelings."
"Hmmm, but what if we were."
"Sister?"
"When Twilight and her friends had to bring the breezies back to their home, they temporarily transformed into breezies themselves. Maybe if we transformed into Changelings, we could shapeshift into normal ponies."
"That is a great idea. But the only promlem is ...won't we need a changeling as part of the spell?"
"You're right. We could capture one. But wait, we can't just capture a changeling for no apparent reason. That's pony-napping."
"Don't we have some changelings as prisoners?"
"I think so. Let's check the dungeons."
The two princesses walked back behind them, but then they bumped into a couple of ponies behind them. They were a married couple: Mr. and Mrs. Ungul.
Mr. Ungul had a peach-colored coat with a brown mane and tail, a brown moustache, a white panama hat, a monocle, a white tuxedo top, and a cutie mark that resembled his monocle.
Mrs. Ungul had a pink coat, a brown mane and tail, and a white dress, her cutie mark wasn't seen.
"Ah" Celestia said. "Greetings, Mr. and Mrs. Ungul."
"Greetings, your majesty" Mr. Ungul replied.
"As I recall, didn't you have a colt with you years ago?"
"Yes, as a matter of fact we did. His name was Stardust Blaze. A fine young boy."
"Where is he?"
"Oh" said Mrs. Ungul "he was sent to a special school in Manehattan. Needed some more tutoring, it seems."
"I see" Celestia responded. "Well, nice to see the two of you. Have a nice day."
"As do you, princesses" Mr Ungul responded.
"Ta-ta" the married couple both said.
"Who were they?" Princess Luna asked.
Celestia answered "they're a very wealthy couple in Canterlot, the Unguls. Rumor has it that they're even wealthier than Filthy Rich."
So Princess Celestia and Princess Luna went to the Royal Dungeon in order to look for a changeling for their spell. They found one changeling in a cell.
"Shouldn't we check the rest of the cell?" Luna asked.
"No need" Celestia answered. "We've already found what we need."
"What do you want!?" the changeling said. His name was Venom Thorn. He showed himself from out of the shadows, revealing that he has a mane like Queen Chrysalis, only it's a neon green color and it's spiky, but he has eyes similar to Queen Chrysalis.
"Venom Thorn" Celetia said. "We need you for a little mandatory community service."
The two sisters opened the door and went into Venom Thorn's cell. Then, they performed the same spell Twilight Sparkle performed when she transformed herself and her friends into breezies. However, instead of breezies, Celestia and Luna transformed into Changelings. But the two didn't look like ordinary changelings, rather they resembled what they would look like if they had Queen Chrysalis' fangs, horns, wings, and eyes.
So the disguised Celestia and Luna went out of Venom Thorn's cell and closed the cell door behind them, locking Venom Thorn back into his cell.
Celestia told Venom "you'll be set free once the time is right."
So Celestia and Luna shape-shifted into ponies that are about Twilight Sparkle's age, only Celestia's mane was pink and her cutie mark was a cartoonish sun while Luna's mane was black and her cutie mark was just a regular crescent moon.
"I'll call myself Sunlight Shine" Celestia said.
"And I'll call myself Moonlight Eclipse" Luna said. "But wait. If we're gone, who will watch over Canterlot?"
"You do make a valid point. After all, who will watch over Philomena?"
"What if we get Princess Cadance and Shining Armor to watch over Canterlot?"
"They're taking care of their baby. But, we could get Twilight to watch over Canterlot for us."
"Good idea. Twilight is a princess after all."
So Princess Celestia, disguised as Sunlight Shine, took a quill and paper and wrote a letter:
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
I have an important task for you today. Princess Luna and I are going to be doing some ... royal duties. So we need you and you alone to watch over Canterlot for us. Be sure to feed Philomena at 3:00 PM. The reason I asked for you to do this alone is because some of your friends may not, let's just say, be as responsible as you are. Please make sure everything is alright back at the castle, and please don't go into the dungeon. Since you are a princess, now, I have faith that you'll do a great job looking after Canterlot for us.

Princess Celestia
Later, as Twilight Sparkle arrived in Canterlot on the Friendship Express, Princess Celestia, disguised as Sunlight Shine, and Princess Luna, disguised as Moonlight Eclipse, were waiting for her. Of course, Twilight didn't recognize either of them once she saw them.
"Good afternoon" Twilight told the two of them.
Then Twilight left and walked towards Canterlot Castle.
"Good, let's go" Celestia said.
But then, Celestia and Luna saw Pinkie Pie coming out of the Friendship Express from a separate box cart, followed by Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer.
"Oh no" Luna said. "I knew this was a bad idea. Twilight ignored our warnings and invited her-"
"Relax, Luna" Celestia told her sister "I'm sure Twilight didn't know her friends were with her. After all, they did come out of a separate box cart. Besides, I've known my faithful student for a long time, and I know that she wouldn't intentionally disobey us."
"Perhaps you're right, sister."
So Celestia and Luna got on board the Friendship Express as it was leaving for Ponyville.
Meanwhile, Twilight was going into the castle, and she looked in awe at Celestia's throne.
"Do I dare sit on that throne?" Twilight asked herself aloud.
"Heck, yeah!" Rainbow Dash said behind her.
Twilight Sparkle turned around, and saw Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer behind her.
"Girls" she siad. "You're not supposed to be here!"
"Wait, I'm not a girl" Spike replied.
"I told you all not to come with me."
"We just couldn't resist" Rainbow replied. "You get to take the place of the highest authority in all of Equestria. How cool is that!?"
"I'm not taking her place. I'm just filling in for her temporarily. Celestia and Luna told me that I should do this alone, so can you all just please go back home?"
"Not a chance, Sugarcube" answered Applejack. "We came all the way here to stay with you, and we aint leavin' any time soon."
"Fine. Just please don't touch anything."
"What about the critters?" Fluttershy asked
"No" Twilight responded.
"The jewels" Spike and Rarity asked
"No!"
"What about the spells?" Starlight Glimmer asked.
"NO!! Wait, now that you mentioned it Celestia didn't say that the spell rooms were off limits. No no, Celestia put me in charge and I'm not letting her down."
"Aw c'mon" Rainbow Dash said. "You love learning new spells, and Princess Celestia has all of the spells she knows. Where are the magic spells anyway."
"Well, now that I think about it, Celestia has told me she had two magic spell libraries, the one for regular magic and the one for dark magic."
"Really!?" Pinkie Pie asked. "She has a spell library for Dark Magic!?"
"Wait!?" Twilight said in surprise "Did I just say that out loud!? That was supposed to be a personal thought!"
"I had that same situation one time" Rarity said.
"Celesita has a library for Dark Magic!?" Rainbow asked. "Isn't that like evil and forbidden!? Girls, we gotta check it out!"
"No! The Dark Magic Library is Off Limits, not just for Celestia's pupils, but for almost everyone in Equestria except for the Princesses."
"C'mon" Spike told Twilight. "Loosen up. The princess couldn't punish us for a little curiosity"
"Last time some-pony went in there for curiosity, she was a student of Celestia's, and she was dismissed from her studies."
Then, everyone paused, and they looked at Twilight.
"Hmm" Rainbow said. "Maybe that is a serious thing. BUT THEY'LL NEVER KNOW!!"
Rainbow dashed out of the castle and dashed all over Canterlot Castle to look for the Dark Magic Library.
"We gotta stop her!" Twilight said. "Otherwise Princess Celestia will be super mad at me!"
So everyone ran out to find Rainbow Dash.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash stopped when she reached the door inside Canterlot Castle that said "Dark Magic - No Entry".
"Well, it's not like anyone will noticed" Rainbow Dash told herself. "There's no one here."
"No one except us!" shouted Twilight.
Then Twilight, the rest of the Mane 4, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer arrived.
"Don't open that door" Spike said.
"Wait" Rainbow told them "Now that I think about it, Twilight isn't Celestia's student anymore, so it's not like she could be dismissed from her studies if she doesn't have any more studies to be dismissed from."
"No" Twilight responded "But I could be thrown in a dungeon, or given a different kind of severe punishment. Or worse, I could be given all of the above."
"There's no-pony here to tattle on us" Rainbow said.
"Not out here" Starlight Glimmer said "but in there"
Everyone looked at Starlight Glimmer in shock.
"I can see through walls using a temporary x-ray eyes spell" she said. "There's someone watching in there".
"See" Twilight told Rainbow "if we go in there, we'll get in big trouble."
"Hmm" Rainbow said. "I know. YOU said that only princesses are allowed right? So you can just go in there and tell us what's inside there."
"I don't know" Twilight said.
"You made us sit through a boring book club a week ago-"
"Hey! You all said you enjoyed that book club!"
"Whatever. The point is that YOU owe us a favor, and THIS is that favor."
Twilight groaned and said "fine. But I'll only tell you a little of what's inside."
"All of it, or I open this door."
"Don't you dare."
Rainbow then placed a hoof on the door.
"Okay, okay." Twilight said. "I'll tell you whatever you want to know when I go in there. Just please take your hoof off of that door."
So Rainbow Dash took her hoof off of the door. Then, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer hid behind a bush at the side of the door.
Twilight then knocked on the door, and a pony inside the library answered the door.
"Ah, hello, Princess Twilight" she said. "What brings you here?"
Twilight Sparkle answered "I came to browse the library."
"Okay, then. Come on in."
"Thank you".
So Twilight entered the room, where she saw many history books, as well as many creepy-looking books.
Little did Twilight know that a shadowy-pony entered the room behind her when no one was looking.
"This place is giving me the heebie-jeebies" Twilight thought in her head.
Then she looked towards one book and stared at it in shock. The book was titled "Creation of Discord".
"Creation of Discord? Could this be Discord's secret origins? Now that I think about it, I never knew how Discord came to be. Celestia didn't even tell me. Surely she would have if she wanted to. Could this just be so serious that Celestia wouldn't dare to tell me about it? Well, if Celestia didn't tell me about it, she wouldn't want me to know. Do I dare? No, I made a promise to Princess Celestia and I will not let her down."
So Twilight was about to leave, but then she paused. Sweat rolled down her face, and she was shaking.
Then, due to temptation, Twilight levitated the book and saw the cover. Below the text "Creation of Discord" was another text that said "A Journal by Star Swirl the Bearded".
"Maybe it wouldn't hurt" Twilight told herself. "After all, it is written by Star Swirl the Bearded."
So Twilight opened the journal, and read the book aloud.
Day 1
I am Star Swirl the Bearded, and today I have taken under my wing a secret apprentice. His name is Grey Shade, he is a grey unicorn colt, with a light blue horn, who has befriended Princess Alouette's daughters, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. He agreed to promise me that as long as he was my apprentice, he would not tell any-pony about his studies. I decided to write this journal in order to track my newest pupil's progress. Someday, he may become either a heroic legend or a villianous nightmare. Only time will tell.
Then Twilight saw a perfect sketch of colt Grey Shade, he looked like a colt version Discord's pony disguised from when he was face to face with Tirek after Tirek returned from Tartarus. So Twilight kept reading aloud:
Day 2
Today, Grey Shade is struggling with his studies. He has tried very hard to perfect his lessons, but he keeps failing. He has told me that he has been struggling with magic in the past, and it led to him not making much friends because the other unicorns made fun of him, all exept for Celestia and Luna, which is why he befriended them. I've decided to keep teaching him until he masters his lessons because no matter how hard he fails, I still believe in him.
Later
Day 50
Today, Grey Shade has saved my life from a tornado. And he has earned his cutie mark, which also resembles a tornado ...
Later
Today, it was Grey Shade's 25th Birthday. He is now fully grown, and I decided that he is ready. I took him with me into the Everfree Forest in Equestria in order to practice my newest spell. I had help from the spirit magic of zebras, along with the magic of the spirits as well as my own unicorn magic and Grey Shade's unicorn magic in order to perfect this spell. So we began the magic spell performance in order to transform Grey Shade into a powerful super-being, beyond any unicorn.
However, out of nowhere, an evil being who called himself Hansen came to conquer Equestria, and he found us after explaining that he noticed our powerful magic. He tried to destroy Grey Shade using his dark magic, but that magic combined with the magic of the zebras, the magic of the spirits, and my own magic to prevent Grey Shade from being destroyed. Instead, the experiment went terribly wrong. I don't know how, it could have been the spirit magic combined with Hansen's dark magic, but Grey Shade has transformed into a new kind of being. He still has his blue horn, only it's lumpy, and his fur coat on his head and neck as well as his mane are still the same, only his mane is shorter, he has brown fur on his torso, a blue bird wing, a purple bat wing, a deer's right antler, grey eyebrows, a grey beard, red eye pupils, yellow eyes, a griffon's talon, a lion's paw, a deer's hoof, a green lizard's foot, and a red dragon's tail. I tried to talk with him, but he doesn't remember who I am, nor does he remember what his own name is. Hansen took Grey Shade under his wing to teach him about chaos, and he was thus renamed 'Discord', meaning 'chaos' and 'disharmony'. So I left to warn Celestia and Luna about Hansen, leaving behind the corrupted Grey Shade. ...
Some more pages later ...
Turns out there was no need to warn Celestia and Luna, because years after Discord was taken from me, they already found out about Hansen and Discord before I even made it to Celestia and Luna's homeland of Valla. In fact, when I went to Valla, there was nothing left but burnt land and ashes. From what I've heard, Hansen destroyed all of Valla and left to conquer the rest of the world. Celestia and Luna imprisoned Hansen in a red jewel for all of Eternity. As for Discord, he took Hansen's place as ruler of Equestria. But then, unfortunately, Discord met his end when Celestia and Luna used the Elements of Harmony to turn him into stone.
Twilight turned the pages, but the rest of the pages were blank. Later in the book, the more pages had a rectangular shaped hole in them, and inside the hole in the pages were a red jewel. One of the pages said "Hansen is inside this jewel. This jewel should not be broken, or else Hansen will be released from his jewel prison."
"I never knew" Twilight said.
        But then, the shadowy pony shot a blast of magic from behind Twilight, and it was shot at Twilight. The blast stunned her, making her drop the book. But the shadowy pony used unicorn magic to levitate the red jewel.
         Twilight turned around and saw the shadowy pony.
         She told him "who are you!? How did you get in here!?"
         The shadowy pony revealed himself once he stepped into the light, revealing himself as a yellow unicorn stallion wearing a hooded cloak. He took his hood off, revealing his face. He had an orange mane and tail with a white stripe in the middle of each, along with green eye pupils.
         The mystery pony said "I teleported here. As for your other question, my name is Stardust Blaze, a member of the Eye of Hansen, and this jewel contains our master."
        "Give that back!"
        Stardust Blaze then ran out of the dark magic library and Twilight chased after him.
        "Stop! Thief!" she shouted.
        Then the Mane 5, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer chased after Stardust Blaze while following Twilight Sparkle.

                      Hansen Returns

Hansen Returns
Twilight chases Stardust Blaze, with the Mane 5, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike behind her.
Stardust Blaze then lured the Mane 6, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike towards a dead end, and he teleported away. The Mane 6, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike stopped.
“Where did he go!?” Rainbow asked.
Then, all of the sudden, the group heard the sound of glass smashing.
“That can’t be good” Twilight said.
The group ran towards the entrance of Canterlot Castle, and they found Stardust Blaze. He turned around, giving an evil grin, and he moved backwards to reveal what he was hiding: it was the source of the breaking sound, the jewel that Hansen was trapped in was shattered, leaving behind shards and a scarlet fog surrounding it.
“Princess Twilight Sparkle” Stardust said. “Thanks to you, I’ve set Hansen free into Equestria!”
Then, the fog expanded, and it started to glow. A bright beam of light was shot from the fog and into the sky.
Meanwhile, Princess Celestia, disguised as Sunlight Shine, and Princess Luna, disguised as Moonlight Eclipse, heard the sound of thunder while they were in Ponyville. They looked up at Canterlot and saw the light.
“What is that?” Luna asked.
“I don’t know” Celestia answered. “But it can’t be good.”
So Celestia and Luna ran off to return to Canterlot.
Back in Canterlot, the glowing fog dimmed, and the fog took the form of a humanoid knight with black gothic armor, red gothic gloves and boots, a red cape, glowing red eyes seen through a helmet, and a grey lizard’s tail. This figure was definitely Hansen.
Stardust bowed down to Hansen and said “Hansen, my master!”
Hansen looked at Stardust and said, in a deep voice, “who are you?”
“My name is Stardust Blaze, one of the newest members of the Eye of Hansen.”
“The Eye of Hansen? I thought your cloak looked familiar.”
Hansen looked at Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and the Mane 6.
He said “And who might you be? Well, the purple one is an alicorn, so she must be a princess.”
Twilight responded “that’s right! I’m the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle!”
Stardust told Hansen “she’s a new princess, she used to be a unicorn who was transformed into an alicorn by Princess Celestia.”
“Oh” Hansen said. “So then it’s safe to assume that you must be Celestia’s friend.”
“Not only that” Rainbow responded “she’s Celestia’s pupil! And you better back down now, because we can do this the easy way or the hard way!”
“Master” Stardust said “truly these ponies, and dragon, don’t know about you, with the exception of Princess Twilight. However, the Eye of Hansen has always known about you, and it’s been hard to find you to bring you back.”
“You wanna know what was hard!?” Hansen asked. “Spending almost all of Eternity trapped in that crystal. It was almost as much of a nightmare as Tartarus. Well, almost. But anyway, I’ve spent all of those thousands of years in that crystal, and it was horrible.”
Hansen remembered what it was like back in the crystal, he was trapped in chains unable to move, while being surrounded by illusions of cute anthropomorphic flowers and pegasi colts and fillies singing childish songs and dancing around Hansen.
Back in the present, Hansen said “When I was trapped in that crystal, I was stuck in chains while surrounded by illusions of pegasi colts, pegasi fillies, and talking flowers, all dancing and singing around me singing childish songs while always singing about fun and happiness. You have no idea what it was like being stuck with that for almost all of eternity!”
“Sounds like fun!” Pinkie Pie shouted.
“Pinkie” Twilight told Pinkie Pie.
Twilight then looked at Hansen and said “You probably deserved it, after all, you destroyed Celestia and Luna’s homeland of Valla.”
“So you have read about me” Hansen said.
“Twilight” Rainbow asked. “How do you know about him?”
“I read about him in the Dark Magic library. His name is Hansen, he was the one who created Discord, and he was also an enemy to Celestia, Luna, and Star Swirl the Bearded. He even destroyed Celestia and Luna’s homeland. He’s extremely powerful, and he’s a strong user of Dark Magic.”
“Where is Celestia and Luna?” Hansen asked.
“They’re not here” Applejack said.
“We have no idea where they are” Twilight said.
Pinkie said “Wait, didn’t she-”
Rainbow stopped her by placing a hoof on her shoulder and whispered to her “If he’s after the princesses, we can’t tell him where they are.”
“Oh”
“Well, if you don’t know where they are” Hansen said. “Then I’ll just have to come back when they’re around.”
“Yeah” Fluttershy said. “Come back later!”
“I’ve been waiting patiently in that crystal for the chance to get my revenge against the princesses! So why not! I’ll give them … a month to show themselves. In the meantime, I think I’ll do some training to prepare myself for our reunion. Come, Stardust.”
Stardust replied “yes, master.”
So Stardust used his unicorn magic to self-levitate to follow Hansen as Hansen flew away.
“Wait!” shouted Rainbow Dash “What am I doing! We should stop them!”
“Let them go for now” Twilight said. “We should tell Celestia about this. Unfortunately, she’ll be mad once she finds out that this is kinda my fault.”
“Your fault?” Spike asked.
“When I came into the Dark Magic library, he followed me when no-pony was looking. Then he attacked me when I saw Hansen’s jewel. I read the story aloud when I thought no one else was there, and it gave him the information about how to set Hansen free. I can’t imagine what kind of punishment I’ll get for this once I tell her.”
“Then don’t tell her” Rainbow said.
“Rainbow, I have to tell her, Hansen is free and that means that Equestria is in danger.”
“Okay, then how about you exaggerate the truth. You know, don’t let the princess know how it really happened but make up a story of what could have happened.”
“You mean you want me to lie!? Oh no, I can never lie to the princesses! I have responsibilities! Besides, I’m more mature than that!”
“Well, you wanna tell her the truth?”
Twilight sighed and said “what do you have in mind?”
Rainbow Dash told her “well, you encouraged us not to come, and we disobeyed you. So we’ll just leave and pretend like we didn’t bother you. Besides, knowing that Applejack is the Element of Honesty, we should probably keep Applejack out of this. Now I know you may be nervous about telling a lie in front of them, so let’s work on your nerves.”
After the conversation, Twilight is dusting the throne room while the rest of the group watches.
Rainbow Dash asked “So you got down what you’re supposed to tell the princesses?”
“Yep” Twilight responded.
“Then we’ll just be on our way” Applejack said. "Though since I am the Element of Honesty, I won't like going along with this"
So Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer leave. But then, once they get to the entrance of Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna arrive, and they are no longer in disguise, and they’ve already turned back into their alicorn selves again. However, they looked mad.
“Where’s Twilight” Celestia asked the Mane 5.
“She’s dusting the throne room.” Spike answered.
So Celestia and Luna went to see Twilight in the throne room.
“Twilight Sparkle” Celestia said “What was the meaning of that beam of light shot in Canterlot?”
Twilight wasn’t facing the princesses, she was facing the opposite direction when they came in, lucky for her because they couldn’t see the sweat rolling down her face.
So she took a deep breath and said “what beam of light?”
Celestia and Luna were confused.
Luna said “didn’t you see the beam of light shot up into the sky, coming from Canterlot?”
“No” Twilight fibbed “I was in here, dusting the throne room.”
“You were ... dusting?” Celestia asked.
“What about your friends?” Luna asked. “We told you not to bring them.”
Twilight kept saying another fib “Oh them? I didn’t know that they’d follow me, so we had an argument, and now they’re on their way to leave back to Ponyville.”
“So, you didn’t see that beam of light?” Celestia asked.
“No”
“Very well.”
Celestia turned to Luna and told her “It was probably nothing, Luna.”
Luna turned to Twilight and told her “thanks for looking after our castle, Princess Twilight. Truly we were right, you are a responsible ruler.”
Twilight then left.
As she went out the entrance to meet up with her friends, she had a nervous look on her face.
“I pulled it off” Twilight told her friends.
Her friends cheered in celebration.
“But wait.”
As Twilight said this, her friends stopped cheering and paused.
Twilight resumed “I just told a lie to the princesses, and I feel bad about it, now.”
Applejack gave a concerned look at the others and told them “it’s probably guilt, I reckon.”
“Look, Twilight” Rainbow Dash said. “So you said one little fib to the princesses. Big deal.”
“I don’t think any-pony has ever lied to a princess before” Twilight said. “Not unless they’re traitors or enemies. Am I a traitor?”
“Twilight, you’re not a traitor. All of what happened was just an accident. I’m sure even if the princesses know the truth, they’d forgive you. Besides, what’s the worse that could happen? Will Hansen and Stardust Blaze come back?”
Twilight was shocked to hear this.
“Hansen! I completely forgot! Hansen said that he would return in one month! I have to warn the princesses, and that probably means that I’ll have to confess that I lied!”
“No! We already goofed up enough” Rainbow told Twilight. “Imagine how mad the princesses would be if they found out we lied to them!”
“Well how do you think we should warn them?”
“Hmmm … with more lies!”
“More lies?”
“Twilight, do you still have that shattered jewel that Hansen was trapped inside?”
“I gave it to Spike so he could eat it.”
“Actually” Spike said as he pulled the shards out of his ‘pocket’, “I was going to eat these later. But now I’m considering not eating them because since it was used to trap evil inside of it, it probably tastes bad.”
Twilight levitates the shards and hugs Spike, telling him “thank you.”
“Okay” Rainbow Dash said “here’s the new plan.”
The group huddled up as Rainbow Dash whispered to them. Pinkie was just making whispering sounds.
“Pinkie Pie, stop makin’ whisperin’ sounds” Applejack told Pinkie Pie.
Then, the Mane 6, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike rushed back to the throne room, where Celestia and Luna were sitting back on their thrones.
Twilight said “Princesses. As we were leaving, we found these shards on the ground. Do you know what they are?”
Celestia levitated the shards to her face, and she saw a dark magic aura coming out of the shards.
Celestia dropped them and screamed. Then she breathed heavily.
“Where did you find these?” Celestia asked Twilight.
Twilight answered with another fib “we found them outside.”
Celestia and Luna took the group into the Dark Magic Library.
“Princess?” Fluttershy asked “the door says ‘no entry’.”
Celestia responded “normally, ponies aren’t allowed in here, but for us, we’ll make an exception.”
Celestia then levitated the ‘Creation of Discord’ book, opened it, and looked to the section at where the jewel used to be. She gasped as she saw that the jewel wasn’t in there, and she looked back at the shards that used to be the jewel. She closed the book and put it back.
Celestia said “it’s just as I feared. Hansen has returned.”
“Who’s Hansen?” Rainbow Dash asked, pretending not to know about Hansen.
Pinkie asked “Isn’t Hansen the big-”
“Pinkie” the group, except for Celestia and Luna, said.
“Hansen is a dangerous being from my past” Celestia said. “This book tells of how Discord was created. It was given to me by Star Swirl the Bearded himself.”
Celestia tells a story:
“Long ago, when Luna and I were fillies, there was a small unicorn colt named Grey Shade. He was normal except that he had a blue horn, and he was often made fun of by the other foal for it, with the exception of me and Luna. In fact, we actually befriended Grey Shade, and there was even a prank that the bullies set up where he was tricked into thinking I invited him on a date, but then the bullies revealed that the whole thing was a trap to get him to embarrass himself by confessing his love to me. He was so angry and heartbroken by this that he said he would win my heart by becoming a powerful unicorn, maybe someone like Star Swirl the Bearded.
Little did I know that he was serious, and he became Star Swirl’s secret apprentice. However, on his 20th Birthday, Star Swirl combined his magic with the magic of zebras, along with the magic of spirits, in order to make Grey Shade a powerful super unicorn. However, Hansen corrupted him with Dark Magic, and it caused a bad side effect: the result was that he became Discord, and he lost all of his memory. Hansen took Discord under his wing and taught him about chaos. Luna and I didn’t know any of this happened at the time.
However, while Discord was causing chaos in Equestria, Hansen destroyed our homeland of Valla. But my mother, Princess Alouette, took everyone in Valla to safety, and sent them to go find new land. Meanwhile, after I heard about Hansen and Discord, Luna and I used the Elements of Harmony to trap Hansen in a magical jewel, where we created illusions based on what he hates the most in order to punish him for his crimes.
Then, we stood up to Discord, and you know the rest.
After we met Star Swirl the Bearded, he gave us his journal, and we learned more about Discord, who was formerly Grey Shade.
One time, we set Discord free, and we tried to tell Discord who we are to try to help him regain his memory, and we tried other ways to help him regain his memory, but all of our methods failed, and we were unable to restore his memory. So when he caused havoc in Equestria again, we had no choice but to turn him into stone again.
Then he was freed a third time, and you know what happened, you six turned him back into stone, and then you reformed him after freeing him again. But that was the reason I wanted him reformed, it’s because I think that deep down Grey Shade is still somewhere in his stone-cold heart. However, I was wrong, because even to this very day, he doesn’t remember who he really was. I fear that he may never remember who he was.”
Fluttershy sobbed, saying “poor Discord. That’s such a sad story.”
“Wait” Pinkie Pie said. “Should we call him Discord or Grey Shade, now?”
“The jewel shards you gave me used to be the jewel that Hansen was trapped inside of. But now that it’s broken, Hansen has been set free, and he is now loose in Equestria. I don’t know how his jewel was taken outside, but we’ll worry about that later. Right now, we have to stop Hansen before he destroys all of Equestria.”
“You can count on us!” Rainbow Dash said. “We’ll stop him together!”
“I’ll come, too” Starlight Glimmer said. “You could use my magic in this adventure.”
“Luna and I will come with you as well” Celestia told the group. “Hansen is a personal enemy that we’ve dealt with. But there’s one more who should come with us: Discord.”
“Are you sure about that?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Last time we trusted Discord to stop Tirek, he betrayed us.”
“He thought that he could have something better than friendship. However, he learned from his mistakes and has moved forward from there.”
“So, Princess” Twilight asked “how are we going to find Discord?”
“I-”. Celestia paused. “To be honest, I don’t know.”
“Aren’t you an all-powerful being?” Pinkie asked. “Don’t you know everything?”
“No, we alicorns don’t know everything” Celestia responded. “And some stuff like that are just some annoying rumors spread around by gossip ponies.”
“Oh, sorry” Pinkie replied.
Twilight looked at Spike and told him “Spike, you better stay back in Ponyville, Hansen is probably really dangerous.”
“No” Spike said. “I’m coming, too. I want to help you out. Besides, it’s kinda boring not having you guys around.”
So the group left Canterlot castle.
“So where do we find that there Hansen?” Applejack asked the Princess.
Twilight then thought in her head “oh man, we should have followed Hansen when he flew off when we had the chance.”
“We’ll worry about that later” Celestia said. “But I do know that during his past, he secretly had a group of supporters for him known as the Eye of Hansen, and we can see if they know where he’s at. But for now, we need to find Discord.”
Then, Discord popped out of Celestia’s mane, with his ears on fire, and said “my ears were burning.”
Discord put his hands on his ears to put out the fire.
“Where did you come from?” Applejack asked.
Discord replied “I was just taking a stroll through Canterlot Castle when I overheard that you were going to add me to an adventure you were having.”
“Did you hear about the Grey Shade story?” Pinkie Pie asked.
“Who’s Grey Shade?” Discord asked. “You know, I’ve heard a few ponies call me Grey Shade before, that includes Celestia, but I never knew who that was. Strange.”
“The only thing strange” Rarity thought in her head “is that it’s been over a thousand years and he still doesn’t remember his own past.”
“So what’s the occasion?” Discord asked Celestia.
“The occasion is that we need your help” Celestia answered. “You remember Hansen, don’t you.”
“My old teacher?”
“Well, we need your help trying to stop him from destroying the world.”
“Well, I don’t know, he was an old friend.”
“But you’re on our side now!” Rarity argued. “You’ve been reformed, and you’re our friend now! Shouldn’t friends help each other!?”
“But Hansen was my old friend, too, you know.”
“Discord” Celestia said. “I know it may be hard to lose a friend, but you still have more friends who will help you.”
“Hmmm …. okay, I’ll help.”
“Okay” Pinkie said. “Let’s go stop Hansen right now!”
So with Discord added to the group, the group left to stop Hansen and the Eye of Hansen.
Meanwhile, in a castle far, far away. It was a dark gothic-looking castle. There was a meeting, where there were thirteen ponies in hooded cloaks similar to the one Stardust Blaze was wearing, and one chair at the meeting table was empty, probably reserved for Stardust Blaze.
Then, Stardust Blaze entered the meeting room.
“Mister Blaze” one unicorn stallion in a deep voice said.
This unicorn took off his hood, revealing his grey coat, and a long black mane. This unicorn was named Snare.
“Chief Snare” Stardust responded as he took his hood off.
Snare said “you’re late for our meeting, again.”
“I know, but I have a good reason this time.”
Stardust turned behind him and said “do come in, Master.”
“Master?” asked the other ponies at the table.
Then, Hansen arrived through the doorway that Stardust entered.
Every-pony else gasped, and they came before Hansen and bowed before him, saying “master”.
“So you all must be my new subjects” Hansen said. “I saw that there were a lot of ponies in this castle, and I’m surprised. When this group began, there were only about ten to twenty members.”
“My king” Snare said. “We didn’t know you would be set free today. We didn’t even bring a chair for you. I’ll go fetch you one right now.”
“I’d rather stand.”
“Yes, my king.”
So Stardust took his seat and the meeting resumed, almost.
“Our meeting will have to be rescheduled” Snare said “because right now, thanks to our underachiever, Stardust Blaze, our master has already returned. So now, we may have a new meeting under the rule of master Hansen.”
“Thank you” Hansen told Snare.
He looked at the group and said “my loyal subjects. As you are aware, I have returned from my imprisonment. Right now, the newest princess, Twilight Sparkle, has probably warned Princess Celestia and Princess Luna about my return, and they’re probably going to stop me as we speak. But I gave them a warning that I’ll come back in one month to face Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.”
“What about Princess Cadance?” one pegasus mare asked.
Hansen looked at the mare and asked “Princess … Cadance?”
“Uh, I mean, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. She’s known as Princess Cadance for short. She used to be a pegasus, but she was turned into an alicorn when you were still in your prison. I can only assume that that was the reason why you didn’t know about her until now.”
“Nevermind that, now. I’ll deal with this Cadance later. Right now, my main focus is on Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They’re the ones that trapped me in crystal, and I want revenge upon them for that. So during this one month of waiting, I intend to do some training to prepare for our ‘reunion’.”
“Revenge?” Snare asked.
“Don’t tell me you’re surprised! Of course my vengeance must be satisfied! Celestia and Luna control the Elements of Harmony, which is what was used to trap me in crystal!”
“Actually” Stardust Blaze said. “I’ve done some spying on the pair, as well as listening to some rumors. Celestia and Luna are no longer connected to the Elements of Harmony. In fact, if what I’ve learned is correct, the ones that are connected now are a group of six ponies, one of which is, curiously enough, Princess Twilight Sparkle, whom we heard is Celestia’s former pupil.”
“Is that so? Then I guess it’s not just Celestia and Luna anymore, we have six more targets. As of today, I shall train to stop Celestia, Luna, and these six ponies. In the meantime, I would like all of you to train as well. Meeting adjourned.”
So everyone left the meeting.
Snare walked down through a door with a sign on it that says “Prisoners’ Dungeon”. Snare walked through a dungeon that contained many prisoners. Some of them were other ponies as well as monsters that were captured. Each cell contained one prisoner inside.
Snare walked past one dungeon cell that contained a small hole in the ground and no prisoners. Snare dashed back to the cell and looked inside.
“She’s escaped!” he shouted. “I’ve got to warn everyone!”
Meanwhile, outside of the castle, a small female baby dragon dug a hole out of the ground. She was green and had horns, a yellow belly, small bat-like wings, and yellow eye pupils, and her name is Jade the Dragon.
So Jade ran off, and she ran into a nearby forest so that the Eye of Hansen wouldn’t find her.

Ace Spades and Jade the Dragon
After Jade escaped, the guards began searching all over the castle for her. However, Stardust Blaze was clueless about the situation.
One guard came up to Stardust and told him “Hey, new guy! Go make yourself useful and look for the escaped prisoner!”
“Oh, right” he said. “Yes, sir.”
So Stardust ran off to find the escaped prisoner. He ran past a pegasus colt who was in the hallway. But then he stopped in shock. He looked back at him.
The Pegasus colt had a coat similar to Featherweight’s, a red mane and tail, eye pupils similar to Rainbow Dash’s, slightly taller wings than Scootaloo’s, and no cutie mark yet. His name was Ace Spades.
Stardust went back towards him and said “Ace Spades, I told you not to wander out of my room like that.”
“Sorry, Big Bro” he said. “But I took a nap and had a nightmare, and I was looking for you.”
“A nightmare? Care to tell me about it.”
“Well, the thing is, I had a dream where you were a bad guy, and you were being mean to everyone, including me. Are you mean?”
“Ace, you know I would never do that. Besides, you’re my Little Bro, I would never be mean to you.”
Stardust hugged Ace and told him “My job is important, but I would never be mean to you.”
“But Big Bro, I heard what you were talking about with some guy named Hansen. Who’s Hansen?”
Stardust sighed and said “Ace, I have a job to do … but I suppose if no one’s looking, I can skip my job and tell you. But first, we can’t let anyone see you.”
So Stardust hid Ace under his cloak and they both walked away.
Stardust and Ace went back to Stardust’s room: it had a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen all in one room. Stardust went to a chest in the living room and took out a piece of paper with a picture of Hansen on it. He levitated the picture in front of Ace.
“This … is Hansen” he said. “Ponies say that what we’re doing is wrong, but we have no choice but to ignore that. You see, when I was young, I told you this, but life was hard for me, so I turned to the Eye of Hansen in order to make some friends. Our leader is Hansen, and we call him ‘master’. His goal is to destroy all of Equestria and rebuild it in his own image.”
“But … is that … wrong?” Ace asked.
“That’s the same question I asked them after joining them, but their reaction wasn’t so compassionate: they responded to my question by punishing me. I didn’t want to tell you this because I didn’t think you were ready to know about the harsh reality of the Eye of Hansen. Their goal was to overthrow Princess Celestia, along with the other princesses. Of course, you and I don’t agree with that, and I once again questioned them. You know what happened next?”
“You got punished again?”
“Yes. However, there is one princess I don’t, exactly, agree with. But because I had different thoughts about the other princesses, I’m hated by my fellow members of the Hansen Eye. I only got to a high rank because of my power at magic. The truth be told: the Eye of Hansen is either hated or feared by other ponies. Unfortunately, I’m one of them, because they’re the closest I have to making friends.”
Ace hugged Stardust and said “I’m your friend.”
Stardust hugged him back and said “I know. But unfortunately, I have no other choice, now. I have to work for them in order to take care of ourselves. They’re at least kind enough to give us a place to live.”
“Isn’t there another way?”
“Who can we turn to? No one trusts us anyways. But Ace, there’s a reason I don’t want you to wander off: the Eye of Hansen doesn’t know about you. If they knew about you, they’d be as harsh to you as they were to me. That’s why I want you to stay here in the castle, so I can protect you.”
“Okay, Big Bro”
Then, a knock came at the door
A voice from the outside said “Hey, who’s in there?”
Stardust whispered to Ace Spades “Ace, hide under the bed, and don’t make a sound.”
So Ace Spades hid under Stardust’s master bed, and then two guards came into Stardust’s room.
One guard at the left said “Stardust Blaze? Weren’t you assigned to look for the escaped prisoner!?”
“Oh” he said “uh, yes, I was looking for her, I thought she snuck in here.”
“In your LOCKED bedroom!?”
Stardust gulped.
The other guard sighed and said “Stardust, YOU are … I don’t know how to describe how hopeless you are. Get back to work.”
“Yes, sir. Eh, sirs” he said with a salute.
That other guard looked back at a blue sleeping back in the living room area of Stardust’s room.
“Hey, since when have you had a sleeping bag?”
"Oh no" Stardust thought in his head, "that's Ace's sleeping bag."
Stardust said “oh, uh that? I-”
“It’s not important now” the other guard told the one guard. “Let’s just keep searching for the escaped prisoner, and we’ll ask about that later.”
So the guards left, and Stardust put his cloak on and left as well, using his magic to close the door behind him.
Stardust Blaze was running with the other two guards, looking for Jade.
The first guard told him “So Stardust, how did you take Hansen’s crystal anyway?”
Stardust told him “well, I was spying on Celestia and Luna, looking for a plan to infiltrate their castle when no one’s looking. Then, I heard that they were going away for a bit. So I thought I’d search in the most private quarters, which of course is where I thought they were hiding it. But then, I saw that Twilight and her friends were looking into the Dark Magic library. I didn’t know if it contained him, but I thought I’d give it a chance. So while Twilight’s allies were hiding inside a bush by the door, I snuck into the library behind Twilight. Little did I know that the first book she picked up was the one that contained Hansen’s crystal. Then I attacked her and took it.”
They all stopped, and Stardust stopped with them.
“You … attacked her! No wonder she knows about us! You should know that the rules forbid attacking the possessors of treasure, we have to take it in secret. Please tell me you at least didn’t say your name.”
“Well … I”
“I should have known. No wonder they knows about us. You’re hopeless!”
“But, but I-”
“Quiet!”
Stardust paused.
“You are an embarrassment to the Eye of Hansen, even if you did free our master. Your only hopes at redeeming yourself is to stop Princess Twilight and company.”
“Of course” Stardust responded. “That’s just what I’ll do when we return to Canterlot in a month.”
“You’re lucky that you still have powerful magic, otherwise we’d banish you from the Eye of Hasnen. You’re also lucky that it all happened by coincidences, but still, that’s low.”
Stardust thought in his head “once again, Twilight, you’ve ruined everything!”
Meanwhile, Princess Celestia, Discord, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer were on their journey to find Hansen and his army.
Celestia asked Discord “Grey- uh I mean Discord, can you see if you can find Hansen’s whereabouts?”
“Sure thing.”
Discord teleported away, and then teleported back with a suit and a briefcase, saying “nothing in Manehattan.”
Discord teleported away again, and then teleported back with a florida shirt and a straw hat, saying “Nothing in Hay-waii.”
“Is there an easier way to look for him?” Celestia asked.
“I can try” Discord said.
So Discord took the entire map of Equestria and shrunk it with his two hands. He looked over it, like a regular map, with a magnifying glass. Then he saw Hansen’s castle far away from Celestia’s location. So he used his hands (or lion paw and eagle talon) and grew Equestria back to it’s original size.
“Have you found it?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“It’s far” Discord said. “But not a problem. I can teleport there.”
So Discord teleported away, but then he teleported back.
“What just happened!?” he shouted.
“You tell us” Rainbow said.
“I don’t know what happened. All I remember is that I teleported into Hansen’s castle, and then I felt a force of Dark Magic teleport me out of it.”
“What if” Pinkie Pie said. “He put a magic barrier around it to keep intruders out.”
“What gives you that idea?” Twilight asked Pinkie Pie.
“Just a hunch.”
“Well then” Twilight said. “I guess we’ll have to go there on hoof and find out.”
So the group continued their journey to Hansen’s castle on foot.
After much walking, Fluttershy turned her head and thought that she saw a green baby dragon running. Fluttershy ran off to follow it.
“Fluttershy” Spike said. “Where are you going!?”
Spike followed Fluttershy.
“Spike” Twilight said. “Wait up!”
The rest of the group followed Spike and Fluttershy.
So Fluttershy caught up with the green baby dragon. It was Jade, after she escaped from the Eye of Hansen.
“Wait up, little dragon” Fluttershy said.
Jade turned around and shouted “Leave me-”
Jade then paused as she looked at Spike and Fluttershy.
“Oh, sorry” Jade said “I thought you were someone else.”
“Who else?” Spike asked.
“A pony from a group called the Eye of Hansen.”
“The Eye of Hansen!?” Spike shouted. “How did you know them!?”
“I didn't say that I knew them. All I know is that they captured me when I wandered away from home, and then I escaped in secret. But I know the name of the pony who captured me: Stardust Blaze.”
“That jerk!” Spike said. Then Spike looked at Jade and said “wait. You're another baby dragon.”
“So what? You've never seen another dragon before?”
“I've seen dragons, but they weren't very nice. But I never met a dragon around my age before.”
“There you are” Twilight said as she, and the rest of the group, caught up with Fluttershy and Spike. The group stopped as they saw Jade with them.
“Who are you?” Twilight asked Jade.
Jade responded “my name is Jade, who might you be?”
“I’m Princess Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship.”
“I am Princess Celestia, the Princess of the Sun” said Celestia.
“Jade said that she escaped from the Eye of Hansen after they captured her” Spike told the group.
“What a coincidence” Twilight said. “We were on our way to the Eye of Hansen right now.”
“I wouldn’t go there if I were you” Jade said. “They have a magic barrier above the ground keeping all intruders out. I was lucky to escape because I dug a hole under the barrier’s wall.”
“That explains why I couldn’t teleport in there” Discord said.
“Uh, who’s the goat-pony?”
“What goat-pony?” Discord asked.
“I’m talking to you.”
“I’m not a goat. I’m so tired of ponies calling me that, I was called that because they think my head looks like a goat’s head. I have the head of a pony, I just happen to have long eyebrows and a long beard.”
“Jade, was it? Would you mind if you join us on our journey to find the Eye of Hansen?”
“Why would I go back there after I just escaped from it.”
“Good point.”
“Don’t worry” Twilight told Jade “we’re going to stop the Eye of Hansen and defeat their leader.”
“Defeat … their leader?” Jade asked.
“Yeah” Pinkie Pie said. “We’re gonna show that big meanie-meanie-pants who’s boss!”
So the group resumed to continue their journey to find Hansen. Then Jade walked with Twilight and Spike.
“Excuse me, Princess Twilight” Jade said. “Well, even though I escaped, I’m kinda lost.”
“What do you mean?” asked Twilight.
“I mean that I don’t know my way back home. Do you mind if I stick with you until I find my way back home?”
“Sure.”
“By the way, you have no idea what you’re getting into. I heard that their leader, this Hansen guy, is very powerful.”
“We know. That’s why we have Discord with us.”
“Discord?”
“The goat-pony.”
“Oh, him. I don’t get it.”
“He has powerful magic of his own. In fact, Hansen’s the one who created Discord, sorta.”
Jade was still confused.
So the group, with Jade added to it, resumed their journey, and they finally reached Hansen’s castle. But there was no magical barrier seen.
Twilight said “I don’t see a magical barr-”
Then she stopped as she bumped into an invisible wall.
“That’s the magical barrier” Jade said. “It’s invisible.”
“How do we get in?” Twilight asked.
“We could try the hole I dug up. Follow me.”
So Jade ran off towards the hole she dug up, and jumped into it. Twilight and company followed her, but the hole was too small for them.
“Uh, Jade” Twilight said. “The hole is too small for us.”
“Not for me” Spike said.
Spike jumped into the hole as well.
Jade came out of the hole and said “I suppose I could do some more digging to make a bigger hole.”
But then, Stardust Blaze ran out of the castle to continue his search for Jade. He stopped as he saw Twilight and company talking.
“Princess Twilight” Stardust said. “I should have known you’d be here.”
Then, Stardust looked at the hole that Jade was sticking her head out of.
“And the escaped prisoner is here, too?” he asked himself. “Must be my lucky day.”
So Stardust charged towards Twilight as Jade was digging. Twilight looked back at him as Stardust ran into her, tackling her.
Stardust was angrily panting heavily as he looked at Twilight.
“You!” Twilight said.
Stardust got off of Twilight and said “I’m not gonna let you ruin everything again!”

Confessions
So Stardust Blaze blasted a beam of magic at Twilight Sparkle, and Twilight flew in the air to dodge it.
“Where do you think you’re going!?” Stardust shouted.
Stardust used his unicorn magic to self-levitate himself into the air to follow Twilight.
“He wore a black cloak” Celestia said. “He must have been from the Eye of Hansen! We have to stop him!”
So Celestia, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Discord flew into the air to help Twilight. Starlight Glimmer also self-levitated in order to help Twilight as well. But then, Stardust shot a large beam of magic from his horn at them all.
“Stay out of this!” he shouted, “This battle is between me and this so-called princess of friendship!”
Stardust looked at Twilight and chased her, shooting beams of magic at her, but Twilight kept dodging them. Twilight shot some more beams of magic at Stardust, and he dodged them. But one of Twilight’s beams struck Stardust, but all it did was knock his cloak off, and it reveals his cutie mark: it’s a white twinkle.
Twilight and Celestia both looked at Stardust’s mane, tail, and cutie mark.
“Wait a minute” they both said to themselves. “I recognize that mane, that tail, that coat, and that cutie mark.”
“Didn’t you say your name was Stardust Blaze?” Twilight asked.
“Yes” he said.
“Stardust Blaze?” Celestia asked herself. “That’s the son of the Unguls!”
“The who?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Hansen told you that he would return in a month!” Stardust told Twilight “You shouldn’t be back here!”
“Hansen told you what!?” Celestia shouted.
Stardust looked at Celestia, and then he looked back at Twilight.
“Wait” he said “You didn’t tell her!?”
“Tell me what?” Celestia asked.
“Twilight!” Rainbow said. “Don’t tell!”
“Rainbow” Applejack told her “If we don’t want Celestia to know, we can’t shout to Twilight not to tell her.”
“What’s going on here!?” Celestia asked. “Twilight, I want answers!”
Twilight lowered her head.
“If you won’t tell her” Stardust said, “I will!”
“Wait!” Twilight shouted. “I’ll tell her!”
So Twilight descended and landed in front of Celestia.
“Well?” Celestia asked.
Twilight sighed and told Celestia the true story, as she told this story, Celestia’s face grew more grim the further on she heard:
“The truth is, I lied. Actually, we all did, me and my friends. I didn’t know they were coming with me even though you said not to invite them, but they urged me to let them stay to keep me company. Then through a slip of the tongue, I revealed about the Dark Magic Library, and it made Rainbow Dash interested in it. Rainbow Dash wanted to look at the library, and she told us that I owe her a favor, and that favor is to tell them about what’s inside the library. So I looked, and I found the book ‘Creation of Discord’, and I learned about who Discord really was. I also learned that Hansen was sealed inside the jewel in the book. But little did I know that Stardust Blaze snuck into the library with me-”
“Wait” Stardust told Twilight’s friends. “How did you girls not see me come in, anyway?”
“We were hiding in a bush” Applejack said. “Now stop interruptin’ Twilight!”
Twilight Sparkle continued:
“As I was saying, Stardust Blaze snuck into the library, and then he took the jewel from me because he said he was part of Hansen’s followers, the Eye of Hansen, and he broke the jewel, setting Hansen free. Hansen said that he would return to Canterlot in a month because you weren’t there, so he wanted to settle the score with you once you returned. My friends suggested that I lie so you two wouldn’t be mad.”
“So the reason that Hansen is free” Celestia said “Is because YOU found Hansen’s crystal.”
Twilight covered her eyes, waiting for Celestia to punish her. But rather than a punishment, Celestia placed her hoof on Twilight’s shoulder.
Celestia spoke “Twilight, I know that you have a curiosity, and I know that you’re afraid, but when things happen, I need to know about it. You didn't know what would happen so-”
“Just stop” Twilight said “this is my fault. I caused this mess, now I have to stop it!”
“Yeah” Rainbow said. “Don’t punish her, it’s our faults. We urged her to go into the Dark Magic Library, we were all the cause of Hansen’s release from his crystal.”
“I'm not mad about that. What concerns me is that you lied to me. You should always tell me the truth no matter what. Besides, I've known you for a long time, and I know that you would never try to put Equestria in danger.”
“That makes me feel worse about what I did. I have to stop Hansen, and it has to be me and me alone!”
“No!” Stardust shouted.
Stardust blasted a magic beam at Twilight, but she dodged it.
Stardust told her “If you want Hansen, you'll have to go through me first!  We have a score to settle!”
Stardust and Twilight continued their fight.
Stardust shot magic beams at Twilight as she flew away from him.
“What score do we have to settle, Stardust!?” Twilight shouted.
Twilight shot another magic beam at Stardust, but Stardust dodged and levitated some giant rocks from out of the ground.
“What you did to me long ago!” he shouted.
Stardust used his levitation to chuck the rocks at Twilight, but Twilight dodged them.
Twilight told Stardust “I didn't do anything!”
Stardust levitated some trees around Twilight, and tried to squish her with them, but Twilight flew away.
“You ruined my life!” he said
“When!?”
“When we were foals!”
Meanwhile, back in the castle, the fight between Stardust and Twilight attracted the attention of some of the guards and henchmen.
One guard said “we have to alert our Master about this!”
So the guards and henchmen ran off to alert Hansen about the fight.
Meanwhile, in Stardust’s room, Ace Spades saw the fight happening through a window. He squinted his eyes, and he saw Stardust fighting with Twilight.
“Stardust!” he said.
So Ace jumped out of his window, and he flapped his wings like a ladybug to fly away without being seen.
Meanwhile, outside of the castle the fight continued between Twilight and Stardust. They were flying and shooting beams of magic at each other.
Twilight shot a beam of magic at Stardust at the same time Stardust shot a beam of magic at Twilight. The beams collided, and they were pushing against each other.
“I’m not gonna stand there and let you remind me of everything I hate about my life!” Stardust shouted at Twilight.
Stardust pushed his beam closer to Twilight, and the beams exploded in her face, causing her to be launched away far into the forest.
Stardust used his magic to blow away the smoke caused by the explosion. He couldn’t see Twilight anywhere.
“Princess Twilight!” Stardust shouted. “Where are you!? Hide all you like, but I will find you!”
There was no response.
“Fine!” he shouted. “If you won’t come out, then I’ll have to hurt your friends until you come out!”
“That won’t be necessary!” said a voice from behind.
Stardust looked behind him and saw that Hansen and his henchmen were behind Stardust on the ground. Hansen was the source of the voice.
“We saw the whole battle from inside the castle” he said. “We’ll capture the rest of the group while you look for Princess Twilight.”
“Yes, sir!”
Stardust used his self-levitation to fly away into the forest to look for Twilight.
“Hansen!” Celestia shouted. “As long as I’m still here, I will protect Equestria from destruction!”
“Oh really.”
Hansen used his magic to form a dark magic bubble around Celestia. Celestia used her magic to teleport out, but the dark magic reversed her spell to teleport her back into the bubble. Celestia tried to shoot a beam of magic from her horn to break the bubble, but it didn’t work.
Hansen levitated Celestia’s bubble close to him.
“Any last words, princess?”
But then, Discord snapped his fingers on his lion paw, and banana peels appeared on the ground below Hansen and the Eye of Hansen, causing them all to slip. Hansen also accidentally flung Celestia’s bubble towards his castle, causing some damage.
“What was that?” Hansen asked.
“That was me” Discord said.
Hansen turned his head and saw Discord from a distance away.
“Discord!?”
“Hello, Hansen!”
“That’s rude, I prefer my subjects to call me ‘Master’.”
“Oh, right, sorry Mas- oh wait, I’m not your subject anymore.”
“What!?”
“You heard me, I, Discord, am not your subject anymore. In case you didn’t know, I’m friends with Celestia and the other ponies, now.”
“So you’re a traitor!? Tell me, is friendship really what you desire?”
“Yes, why?”
“Because, what if I can offer you something greater than friendship? Would you be willing to come back to my side?”
“Not a chance. Tirek offered me the same thing, once, and it didn’t go so well.”
“Tirek?”
“Sir” said one member of the Eye of Hasnen “Let me explain: when we were trying to look for you, we went to Tartarus and freed the Cerberus, it unleashed someone named Tirek, but we couldn’t find you.”
“I know who Tirek is!” Hansen said. “When I was imprisoned, I heard about many powerful beings who are close to being as powerful as me: Lord Tirek, King Sombra, and Discord.”
Hansen looked back at Discord.
“Tell you what, Discord” he told him, “You were known to be the powerful Spirit of Chaos, yet you were outsmarted by ponies. Doesn’t that sound ridiculous?”
“Hmm” Discord said. “It kinda does.”
The ponies looked at Discord in shock.
“Here’s the deal: if you do not rejoin me, then you are considered a traitor! However, if you rejoin me, I can give you full control of my army, except that I’ll still be your boss. I can give you a better reputation, make you well known and feared throughout Equestria. What do you say?”
Hansen held out his hand to Discord.
Slowly, Discord walked towards Hansen.
“Discord! No!” Fluttershy shouted.
“Silence!” shouted an Eye of Hansen member.
Discord kept walking towards Hansen until he stopped in front of Hansen.
Discord grabbed Hansen’s hand, much to everyone’s shock.
“Thank you, Captain Discord” Hansen said.
But then, Discord made a grin, much to Hansen’s confusion. Then, Hansen got shocked in his hand, and Discord revealed that he had a 'joy buzzer' in his hand.
“Just kidding!” Discord shouted. “You should have seen the look on your face! You actually thought I was going to rejoin you!”
Discord laughed, and the rest of Discord and Celestia’s group sighed in relief.
“But seriously” Discord said. “My mind’s made up, I’m not going to rejoin you. In other words: I’m with the ponies, and I prefer to stay that way for a long time.”
Hansen responded “You...TRAITOR!!!!”
Hansen got up and tried to attack Discord, but Discord dodged him.
Discord stuck his tongue out and made a teasing face at Hansen.
Hansen got angry, and he tried to take both hands and clobber Discord with them, but Discord teleported away.
Discord teleported back, and he teleported away when Hansen tried to attack him. He teleported back again, and he teleported away when Hansen tried to attack him. Then Discord teleported back, and Hansen jumped onto Discord, pummeling him. But Discord watches the pummeling while eating popcorn as if it was a movie. Hansen stopped and saw that he was only attacking a doll that resembled Discord. Hansen got even more furious.
“Discord!” he shouted. “Stop toying with me!”
Hasnen shot a beam of magic at Discord, but Discord teleported away, leaving the beam to make a hole through a forest.
Then Discord teleported inside Hansen's armor, and popped out of his helmet.
“Why do you wear this armor” he asked. “Doesn’t it get hot in here? Why don’t you take it off and cool off.”
So Discord teleported away, along with Hansen's knight armor and red cape. Hansen crouched on the ground, and everyone gasped as they saw Hasnen without his armor.
“No” Hasnen said. “Don’t look at me! I’m hideous!”
“The master has never been seen without his armor” one Eye of Hansen member said.
“Master” they all said.
Hasnen stood up and revealed what he really looks like, much to everyone’s shock, even to Celestia’s shock. It turns out that Hasnen, from above the waist, has a humanoid torso, grey scaly skin, a lizard head with white eyes and red eye pupils, a pair of two fangs coming out of his mouth from the top, and brown hair on his head. From the waist down, Hansen has the legs of a minotaur covered in brown fur, with black hooves on his feet, and a grey lizard’s tail.
“Master” one Eye of Hasnen pony said. “Pardon my asking, but, are you … ashamed without your armor?”
“No” Hasnen said. “I only wore the armor because throughout my life, I was called a hideous beast. So I wear the armor in order to make my name known and feared. But now that you see who I really look like, I assume you’ll be too disgusted to serve me.”
“No, we are the Eye of Hansen, we serve you no matter what!”
All of the Eye of Hansen bowed before the armor-less Hansen.
“So you all still pledge your loyalty towards me?”
The Eye of Hasnen nodded at their ‘master’.
“You know” he said “I’m actually glad to be out of that armor, it was a magic armor I created so it wouldn’t hold back my true power, because like the old saying says, I don’t know my own strength.”
“Holding back!?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“That’s wasn’t his best!?” Rarity asked.
So Hansen raised his two hands, and smashed them against each other and shouted “Second Phase!”
Then, Hasnen bulked up and gained a more muscular appearance due to the power Hansen’s ‘Second Phase’.
“This is the power of my Second Phase” Hansen said. “I couldn’t do it with the magic armor holding me back.”
So Hansen self levitated using his dark magic, and he raised his hands in the air. So Discord charged his hands with Dark Magic, and he flung gaint beams of dark magic from out of his hands as if he were throwing objects from his hands.
Starlight Glimmer used her unicorn magic to deflect some of the beams of dark magic, and Rarity used a parasol made of magic to block the beams of dark magic as well.
“We can’t do this on our own!” Starlight shouted. “We need you to use your Element Powers!”
“Element Powers?” Pinkie Pie asked.
“You are all connected to the Elements of Harmony, without them, you wouldn’t have defeated Tirek!”
“But we can’t do it without Twilight” Rainbow Dash shouted. “We have to all be together for our powers to work!”
Starlight was shocked.
Then, Celestia came, and she used her magic to help Rarity and Starlight Glimmer deflect the beams of dark magic.
“Discord!” Celestia shouted “We need your help!”
So Discord arrived and conjured up magical mirrors, making some more dark magic beams bounce off of them. He also conjured magical trampolines to make the dark magic beams bounce off of them, too.
But then, an Eye of Hansen unicorn came up from behind him and tried to grab onto Discord using a ‘rope’ made of unicorn magic. But Discord stretched through the ‘rope’ and broke it. Discord then turned that unicorn’s cape into a black snake that squeezed him.
Some more Eye of Hansen unicorns tried to attack Discord, but Discord turned his attention to them so he can mess around with them like that other unicorn. He tried bouncing their magic beams back at them, or by turning their magic beams into harmless objects like pillows or stuffed animals.
However, Hansen noticed that Discord focused his attention not on him, but on some Eye of Hansen unicorns.
“This is the perfect moment to fight back” Hansen said to himself.
So Hansen stopped throwing beams of magic at the group, and he levitated himself towards Discord. He grabbed him by his torso with his two arms and pushed both of them to the ground. With Hansen holding Discord pinned to the ground, he used his magic to weaken him.
“I … feel … weak” Discord said.
“Good” said Hansen. “I used my magic to make that happen.”
Hansen’s eyes started to glow completely red as he stared into Discord’s eyes. Then, Discord’s eyes started to glow red the same way. However, glowing white cracks appeared on Discord’s body, and they started to grow in length.
“Discord!” Celestia and Fluttershy shouted.
“Discord!” the rest of the group shouted.
So the entire group went towards Discord’s aid, but the Eye of Hansen unicorns shot beams of magic at them, telling them “Don’t interfere!”
Discord’s eagle talon broke off of his body like stone, then the same happened to Discord’s deer hoof, then Discord’s lizard foot, then Discord’s dragon tail, then Discord’s lion paw, and then Discord’s deer antler on his head.
The cracks on Discord’s body grew bigger and bigger until finally, Discord shattered into a million pieces, leaving behind his eagle talon, deer hoof, lizard foot, dragon tail, lion paw, and deer antler. Also, the brown fur of his torso was left off of his body.
But out of the brown fur emerged Grey Shade: who looks like Discord’s pony disguise from when Discord confronted Tirek, only he was older, evident by the fact that he’s as tall as Celestia.
Celestia stared in shock and gasped.
Fluttershy ran towards Grey Shade as Grey Shade was slowly waking up. Hansen got up and walked backwards.
“Discord” Fluttershy told Grey Shade “are … you alright?”
“Discord?” Grey Shade asked, his normal voice sounded like Discord’s. “Who’s that? My name’s Grey Shade.”
“Don’t you remember me!?” Fluttershy asked.
“No” he said.
The group gasped, except for Celestia.
“Is that … Grey Shade?” Rainbow Dash asked Celestia.
Celestia answered “yes ... only, he looks older.”
Fluttershy hugged him and said “It’s me, Fluttershy”
“I’m sorry” Grey Shade responded “But I don’t know you”
“It’s no use” Hansen told Fluttershy “When Grey Shade was Discord, he was asleep, unable to know what happened. Yet when Discord confronted Tirek, he transformed into Grey Shade. That was probably Grey Shade’s way of trying to wake up. Nevertheless, Discord is gone, and there’s no bringing him ba-”
“You’re lying!” Fluttershy shouted at Hansen.
“Discord” Fluttershy told Grey Shade. “I know you’re still in there. You may be back to the way you used to be, back to being Grey Shade, but you can’t forget all of the fun times we had together.”
Tears formed in Fluttershy’s eyes.
“You can’t forget about all of that! Can you!? We were best friends! We laughed and talked together! You can’t forget about that!”
“I’m sorry” Grey Shade responded. “Fluttershy, is it? But, I don’t remember any of that.”
Fluttershy broke down into tears and began to sob. “Please. You can’t forget about me.”
“But I don’t remem-”
“Don’t say that! I remember you and all of the fun we had together! You have to know who I am! Look deep into your mind! We had something special, something you told me that you never had: a bond of friendship! You have to remember! You have to remember!”
Fluttershy broke into more tears and started crying.
“I’m sorry, Fluttershy” Grey Shade said. “But whoever this Discord person is, he’s not me. I wish I could remember you, but I can’t.”
Meanwhile, the remains of Discord’s body turned into dark smoke, and they all combined into one body of dark smoke. Hansen raised his right hand to use his dark magic to bring the smoke closer to him.
“What’s that!” Pinkie asked.
“This, Pink Pony” Hansen said “is Discord: his consciousness, personality, memories,everything. And now, it’s mine.”
“Oh no you don’t!” Rainbow Dash said.
Rainbow tried to fly towards Hansen, but Hansen took a deep breath, breathing in the smoke form of Discord into his mouth before Rainbow Dash could even stop him. Then, an aura of Dark Magic surrounded Hansen, engulfing him in it.
Rainbow Dash stopped, and she, along with the entire group, including Fluttershy, gazed in awe at Hansen's transformation. Hansen then emerged from the engulfing Dark Magic as a new form:
He had a pair of two dark magic wings on his back, a brown fur-covered humanoid body, red-fur-covered minotaur legs with brown hooves, two green arms, and a furry grey humanoid head with black hair, yellow eyes with red eye pupils, and a front fang like Discord’s. He also had a pair of twin thick deer antlers.
“Hansen?” Rainbow Dash asked,
The creature was no longer Hansen.
He said “I am neither Hansen nor Discord, now. I am both, we are one! I … am … Darkord!”
Ace Spades watched this from a tree in the forest surrounding the castle.
“What will I do?” Ace asked himself.
So Ace rushed back into the forest.

Ace Spades looked in the forest for Stardust Blaze.
“Big Bro?” he hollered. “Big Bro?”
Ace heard a groan coming from behind a bush in the forest. Ace looked in the bush, but he didn’t see anything.
“There’s nothing inside the bush” he said to himself.
He heard the groan again. Ace got out of the bush and looked on the other side of it, he saw Twilight Sparkle on the ground in pain.
“The princess!” he said.
Ace hopped over the bush and ran towards Twilight.
He pushed her a little and said “Princess? Are you okay?”
Twilight woke up and got up.
“Ugh” she said. “My head.”
Twilight looked at Ace and said “oh, are you lost, little boy?”
“No” he said. “Are you?”
“No.”
“I know where we are. We’re near my Big Bro’s castle.”
“Big Bro? Wait, the castle nearby is Ha-wait, Hansen is your older brother?”
“No. Stardust Blaze is my Big Bro.”
“Your brother is Stardust Blaze? But he’s a unicorn and you’re a pegasus.”
“I know that. When I was a baby, Stardust Blaze found me and decided to take care of me. I followed him on his adventures, and he’s like an older brother to me, which is why I like to call him ‘Big Bro’.”
“Stardust … took care of you?”
“I saw you fighting with him earlier from the castle window, and I came to see if he’s alright, but that’s when I found you. You see, Big Bro isn’t that bad once you get to know him. He’s not what you think he is.”
“Oh? Why not?”
“Here’s the story: when Stardust Blaze was a foal, he was raised by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ungul. They didn’t care for him like Stardust cared for me, but Stardust was inspired to learn about magic, and to become a great unicorn. So one day, the Unguls knew how he loved magic so much that they enrolled him for Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns. They told him that he had to take an entrance exam, so he tried hard to prepare for it. Then he met you before you became a princess, you two were about the same age. He told you about the entrance exam, and it made you nervous. You almost failed, and Stardust felt bad for you. But then, a strange Rainbow Ring appeared in the sky.”
“The Sonic Rainboom” Twilight thought in her head.
Ace continued his story:
“After that, you passed your exam, but the phenomenon startled Stardust and made him lose his focus. He failed his entrance exam. As a result, the Unguls abandoned him, and told him not to come home with them, as he is no longer welcome because they don't want weak unicorns in their family. Stardust reminded them that he was their son, but the Unguls told him that he’s not their son because it turns out he was actually adopted by them up until now. So Stardust didn’t have a home anymore, and he had to travel on his own, without any friends or family. Then he found me, and you know what happened. But as we were on our own, we didn’t have much food or money, and no one would help us because they thought of us as street urchins. It was hard for the both of us. So when Stardust met the Eye of Hansen, he had no choice but to join them as he thought they were the only key to helping us. He also wanted revenge on you because he accused you of being responsible for him failing. That's why he hates you so much.”
“I never knew” Twilight said.
“Even though he thinks the Eye of Hansen is his friend, they don't treat him with respect. Stardust never had a true friend before except me. However, we're both fans of royalty, and Stardust never wanted to hurt the princesses, but he realized that Hansen and Celestia are enemies, so he feels like he has no choice but to go against Celestia.”
Twilight remembered Stardust shouted “I'm not gonna let you remind me of everything I hate about my life!”
“So that must be what he hates about his life” Twilight thought in her head.
“I thought I'd tell you” Ace said “because I know you two don't get along, but I can't bear to watch you two fighting each other.”
Twilight put a hoof on Ace’s shoulder and said “Little boy, you did the right thing telling me. Thank you. What's your name?”
“My name is Ace, Ace Spades. And I don't mean to be rude, but how old are you?”
“Seventeen years old”.
“Really? That's how old Big Bro Stardust is.”
“Well, I didn't know how hard Stardust's life must be. I just wanted to pass my entrance exam.”
“I know, and Big Bro probably knows, too. He's just blinded by his own anger. I don't think I can reason with him because I'm just a kid. Maybe you can reason with him. But he isn't willing to cooperate and talk with you about it. So your only option is to use force to teach him about his wrongdoings. If he won't break his chain, you'll have to break it for him. But, just don’t hurt him too much, he’s my Big Bro.”
“Okay. I'll see what I can do. Come with me.”
So Twilight walked away, and Ace followed her.
Meanwhile, Stardust was still in the forest, looking for Twilight, but he couldn't find her anywhere.
Meanwhile, back at Hansen's Castle, Darkord was about to battle with Celestia's group.
Celestia shot a beam of magic back at Darkord, but Darkord opened a portal to duck in the dark magic, and he opened another portal that shot the magic back at Celestia.
Starlight Glimmer self levitated and shot multiple beams of magic at Darkord, but Darkord conjured a magic shield and blocked the blasts of magic.
“What can we do?” Rainbow Dash asked Applejack. “We don't have magic except for Rarity.”
“I don't know, Sugarcube” Applejack replied. “We just need to hope that those two can pull it off.”
Spike and Jade watched the battle.
“C’mon” Spike told Jade as he grabbed her claw “We have to find Princess Twilight.”
So Spike ran into the forest with Jade.
Meanwhile, Grey Shade, sitting next to Fluttershy, looked at Darkord, and he saw Starlight Glimmer battling him.
“I don't know who that is, either” he said.
Then he saw Princess Celestia, and he remembered the last time he saw her, which was when she was a filly.
“Celestia!?” he said. “I don't know who this Darkord - guy is, but I have to help Celestia, I'm the student of Star Swirl the Bearded!”
So Grey Shade ran towards Darkord, and he charged his horn with magic and shot it at Darkord.
Darkord blocked it with his hand, and he shot a beam of magic through his eyes at Grey Shade, launching Grey Shade away back onto the ground.
“Discord!” Fluttershy shouted.
Rainbow Dash arrived as Fluttershy ran towards Grey Shade and told her “It's no use, Fluttershy, that's not Discord anymore. That's Grey Shade!”
“No! I still believe Discord is somewhere in there!”
Fluttershy arrived at Grey Shade’s side, and Grey Shade got up. Grey Shade charged magic in his horn and shot beam of magic at Darkord, but Darkord kept deflecting them.
“It’s no use” Celestia said. “WIthout Twilight, we can’t beat him.”
“Celestia” Grey Shade hollered, “We have to try!”
Meanwhile, Spike and Jade were running through the forest away from the fight. But then, one member of the Eye of Hansen arrived, it was an Earth-pony stallion.
“Where are you going, escaped prisoner?” he said.
Spike then breathed fire at the Eye of Hansen pony, and only his tail caught in fire. He ran and screamed as his tail was on fire.
“Can’t you breathe fire, too?” Spike asked Jade.
Jade answered “I can’t, I was never taught how to.”
“It’s easy, I’ll teach you later, but we have to get away from Hansen, first. Or, Darkord, I mean.”
“Why are you protecting me?”
“Because you don’t deserve to be captured by them! Besides, since we’re both baby dragons, you could be my friend.”
“Your … friend? I never had a friend before.”
“Well, if you like, we could be friends.”
There was a pause as they were running.
“Okay” Jade said. “So what you said was that you’ve known Princess Twilight your whole life?”
“Yes” Spike said. “She’s a great pony. She’s really nice, and she’s extremely powerful at magic.”
“Really? What about your family? What are they like?”
“Family?”
“Don’t you have parents, too? What about siblings?”
“Not that I know of. Twilight hatched me from a dragon egg when I was a baby, and I was raised by ponies ever since. What about you?”
“I naturally hatched from a dragon egg. I have four siblings: Scorch, Botch, Slither and Pepper. My parents are named Frill and Ruffle.”
“Sounds like you have a good family.”
“Not really. I don’t usually get along with Slither and Scorch because Scorch always brags about how he’s better than all of us and Slither manipulates others just so she gets what she wants. Pepper is nice, though. Also, Botch looks up to Scorch like a hero and someone better than me. However, I’ve never had a friend before, up until I met you. Well, I don’t know if we’re friends, yet.”
“We could be if you want.”
“I don’t even know who you are.”
“My name’s Spike.”
“That’s not what I meant.”
Then, Spike and Jade ran into a unicorn stallion who was working for the Eye of Hansen.
Spike tried to breathe fire on him, but the unicorn used a magic shield to block Spike’s fire breath. Spike tried a karate kick on the unicorn, but he blocked Spike’s attack using his hoof.
“Run!” Spike shouted.
Spike and Jade tried to run away the other direction, but they were surrounded by ponies who worked for the Eye of Hansen.
Later that night, Twilight and Ace Spades made it to Celestia and Luna’s castle, and into the throne room where Luna was sitting on the throne.
“Princess Twilight” she said. “I thought you were with your friends trying to stop Hansen.”
“Well” she said. “We have a bit of a problem. My new friend, Ace Spades, told me that Hansen is fighting my friends, and he absorbed what used to be Discord.”
“What … used to be … Discord?”
“Yes. He reverted back to Grey Shade, and Hansen absorbed Discord and became Darkord. Let me explain the whole story. First of all: I lied about earlier when you returned …”
So Twilight Sparkle explained the whole true story, including when she lied to Celestia and Luna about what happened.
“Then I led Ace Spades, here, with me to see you. Basically, that’s what happened.”
“So what you’re saying is that my sister and your friends are fighting Hansen, and you feel responsible for Hansen’s release from his imprisonment.”
“Yes. I’m sure they’re still fighting.”
“Princess” Ace said. “It’s been going on for hours, and it’s already nighttime. I’m sure they would have stopped by now. But I heard stories about Discord, stories that he is a very powerful being. Now that Hansen absorbed Discord and became Darkord, he’s probably powerful. He probably captured them.”
“That is a possibility” Twilight responded.
Luna told them “what was the reason you came here.”
“Because” Ace told Luna “my Big Bro, Stardust Blaze, is blinded by his own anger, and Twilight told me that you felt a similar way about your sister when you were Nightmare Moon. Is there a way you could talk some sense into him?”
Luna paused for a moment.
“Well, Twilight, when you told me your story, you said that Stardust Blaze accuses you of causing his misery because you outshined him. It’s true, I felt a similar anger towards Celestia, back when I was Nightmare Moon. Maybe if I talk to him, I could help him realize that what he's doing I'd wrong, and maybe he could change for the better. As for now, we don't know what happened with Celestia and her group other than what you told me. So we'll have to prepare our army for battle with the Eye of Hansen.”
“Thank you, Princess Luna” Ace Spades said.

Guess who Saves the Day?
Twilight Sparkle, Ace Spades, and Princess Luna gather an army to attack Hansen and his army and save Twilight's friends.
The army arrived at Hansen's castle.
"Charge" Luna shouted.
So Twilight Sparkle, Ace Spades, and Luna's army charged as Hansen's army charged out of the castle. The two armies fought with each other. Then, Darkord got out of the caslte and fought Princess Luna.
The two clashed, punched, kicked, slapped, and bonked each other like crazy.
However, Darkord, along with Hansen's army, were prevailing.
Stardust Blaze arrived, and saw Ace Spades with Twilight Sparkle.
So he self-levitated towards her and told him "Ace, what are you doing, you're on my side, remember."
Ace then looked back at Stardust and winked at him. Stardust smiled.
Stardust then took out a device with a red button on it, and he pressed the red button. Then Twilight and the entire army were caught in a giant net.
"Ace" Twilight said. "What is the meaning of this?"
"All that stuff I told you" Ace said "Was a lie. The truth is ... Stardust and I always worked for Hansen, and we always hated the princesses. Go Hansen! I mean Darkord!"
"Go Darkord!" Stardust shouted.
Darkord smiled as he looked at Ace Spdes and Stardust Blaze.
He told them "thank you, Stardust Blaze and Ace Spades, truly you are everyone's favorite."
"Oh no" Luna said as she was caught in the net. "We've lost."
"Hold on!" shouted a voice. "You haven't stopped me!"
Everyone looked at the source of the voice, and they saw that it was none other than ... Flash Sentry himself. Only this time, he was an alicorn.
"Oh yeah" Twilight said. "I forgot that Celestia made Flash Sentry into an alicorn, now."
Darkord and Stardust Blaze shot magic beams at Flash, but Flash blocked them with his magic, and he shot more magic beams at them. There was an explosion, Stardust was flown into the air with Ace Spades and the rest of Hansen's army.
Stardust and Ace shouted "Team Hansen's Blasting Off Again!"
Then, Darkord was separated from Discord's spirit and reverted back into Hansen as he was flown along with Stardust and Ace, and his army.
The net released Luna's Army and Twilight.
So they rescued Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Starlight Glimmer, Spike, Jade, Grey Shade, and Princess Celestia. The spirit of Discord reunited with Grey Shade, and Grey Shade reverted back to Discord.
Discord gasped "wait a minute, I remember now. I used to be one of Celestia's friends, Grey Shade."
Discord hugged Celestia and told him "oh Celestia, how could I have forgotten you. I'm so sorry."
"No" Celestia said "I'm sorry. I was a fool to ignore you. I want us to be together. Discord, will you marry me?"
"Yes, Celestia"
Discord and Celestia kissed each other on the lips.
Then Flash Sentry took Twilight's hooves and said "thank you for being the greatest princess of Equestria."
"No" Twilight said "thank you for rescuing us."
So Flash and Twilight were about to kiss.
But then ....
*GASP*
Twilight Sparkle woke up in her bed in Canterlot. It turns out that the whole thing was a dream.
"It was all a dream?" Twilight asked herself.

I'm Sorry
Dear FiM Fiction Readers,
I'm sorry, as in, I'm REEEEEAAALLLY sorry. But, as of now, which is what I've wanted to do for a while, I am cancelling this fanfiction.
The reason for the cancellation is because of more than one reason: I want to focus on other things, I want to make Stardust Blaze less of a bad guy, and I want to write a fresh new fanfiction.
I know I've been cancelling a lot of my fanfictions, but that's because sometimes I change my mind about how I want my stories to be told. However, I won't cancel this next fanfiction I'm working on, and I will try hard to make it good.
If you want, I'll tell you what I'm working on, my next fanfiction will be the first in a new "MLP Adventures" fanfiction series I'm working on to tell what I think the canon MLP universe should do with future episodes.
I'll put a link in the next chapter of this fanfiction once I finished a chapter or two of my next fanfiction.
Once again, I'm really sorry for doing this. I'm working on my next fanfiction as we speak.
