She looked around in the sky incase a certain cyan pegasus was flying about. When she didn't see anything she kept going, trotting towards her farm in quick strides. 'Yer almost there Applejack, just a few more yards,' she thought. She was almost at the sign of her farm until a familiar, scruffy voice shouted, "Applejack! Wait, please!" She stopped in her tracks, panicing in her mind, 'shoot!' Rainbow Dash landed infront her, worry in her eyes. "Hey, why did you run away? I wanted to talk with you," she said. AJ was panting heavily, looking for any route to escape. She darted into part of the acres suddenly, leaving the bewildered pegasus behind, but was soon hot on her trail with a determined look. Applejack knew she couldn't out run the fastest flyer in equestria, and was soon tackled to the ground, her forlegs pinned to the ground. Her heart raced as she looked into those magenta orbs of her captor. "Quit.... 'ha'.... running," Rainbow panted, looking back into AJ's emerald eyes, "It's ok just, calm yourself." AJ took a deep breath and exhaled shakily, then nodded. It was time to face the truth. Right here. Right now. "Look Ah'm sorry, just forget Ah said anythin'. It was stupid of meh to-", she didn't get to finish her sentence as Dash's hoof was placed on her muzzle to quiet her. She looked up to Rainbow, seeing a warm smile. "It's fine, Apples, I just wanted to say that you don't have to be sorry, because I feel the same way about you. See, I've had a crush on you for a while now and i was afraid of what you would've thought. After what Discord made you said, I was in complete bliss that you though of me, more than a friend," Applejack listened with perked ears, a little pink on her cheeks,"So what i'm trying to say is, do you want to go out with me?" Applejack was at a lost for words. She wasn't expecting... this. "Ah mean, if it's fine with you then, yeah, ah'd like that," she said with a smile resembling Rainbow's. She wrapped her front hooves around Dash's neck, pulling her into a loving kiss. Rainbow's wings shot out with a 'pomf', leaving her with flushed cheeks. However, Rainbow didn't mind, and kissed back, moaning into her new marefriend's mouth. It only lasted a few seconds before they broke apart. They stared into each other's dazzling eyes, both of their faces flushed pink. Then, they sat on their haunches, holding each other in a loving embrace. They didn't, however, notice a bubbly pink mare and a certain draconequus hiding in the bushes. The two watched as their friends held each other under an apple tree, beholding the scene. "Awwwwww! They look so super-duper adorbs!," Pinkie said, looking like she was about to explode from all the joy she had bundled inside her. "Hmm, they do make a good couple," Discord said, smiling at the warm scene,"Why don't we go see if we can get Twilight and Rarity together as well?" Pinkie Pie grinned widely at that thought and nodded. "Yeah! They would make such a great couple, too!" With that, they both were off, pinkie bouncing behind Discord with a cheerful and exciting grin, leaving Applejack and Rainbow Dash to their moment. They broke apart, giggling as they trotted towards the farm house. They trotted side by side, Dash's wing against AJ's back. they couldn't wait to tell the others of the experience they had just shared. At the same time they thought, 'I bet this will make a good report for twilight'. They walked into the house, greeted by Granny Smith, Big Mac, and Applebloom, Applejack's family. "Howdy Miss Dash," said Big Mac, giving a welcoming nod. Both Granny and Applebloom waved with a smile as well, welcoming her to their home. "Hey ya'll, RD here is gonna sleep over ta'night, hope ya don't mind," said AJ. "Not at all missy, yer welcome to stay long as ya want," Granny said, giving a wink to Rainbow. The two then went upstairs to Applejack's bedroom and looked out the window, watching the sunset. The sky was a vibrant orange and blue, the clouds blending in with the orange. They smiled, and nuzzled each other, simply enjoying each other's presence. When the sun was finally below the horizon, they both yawned, and crawled in bed. They held each other in their warm embrace, Dash's wing draped over AJ's side with her warm feathers. Then, they both fell asleep with blissful smiles on their muzzles. *************** The next morning, Applejack woke up feeling more comfortable then she ever had. She opened her eyes to see RD's snoozing face. She smiled with a slight giggle, and nuzzled her nose against Dash's to wake her gently. Rainbow groaned and open one eye to see two emerald ones staring back at hers. She yawned, then kissed Applejack lightly on the nose. "Morning, sugarcube. How'd ya sleep?" "Like an orange angel did beside me," said Dash, making AJ blush and smile. They kissed tenderly, then got out of bed and stretched. They made their way down to the kitchen, seeing the rest of the family were already awake. They all greeted them with morning nods from around the table,and warm grins. The two sat at the table and ate their breakfast. When they were done, they put their plates and cups in the sink. After that, they both ran out into the acres seeing which one could finish their side of the orchard first. they bucked all day in the field until dinner. Applejack and Rainbow had tied, unsurprisingly, and the sun was once more setting. Tomorrow is another beginning. A new start, and hopefully, they will tell the apple family and their friends about their relationship. THE END.
