Three Best Buds
“So, you got any threes?” Night Dice, a bat pony asked. He has a dark coat with brown mane, tail, and eyes. And he has eye glasses that he only wears for the looks. He has a pair of dice with question marks on them instead of the standard numbered ones.

The pony across him smirked and fixed his hoof of cards, “Don’t you mean blackjack?” He asked without taking his eyes off his cards. Mocha then sat back on his sit and looked outside at the pairs of ponies trotting by and back to the bat pony, “Hey Dice, you have someone in mind for Hearts and Hooves Day?” The bat pony responded with a shake of his head.
A mare then comes down from the stair case with a white coat dressed up in red entered with a neatly combed yellow and gray mane. “So, which one of you will take me out for Hearts and Hooves day?” She asked. “I’m still a mare ya know and this dress cost me a lot of bits.” Even if she is a mare, she has more of a tomboy attitude. So the two stallions quickly grew to her as a very close friend after agreeing that all three of them share a house together.

He grinned and clapped with his forehooves, “And that’s not how relationships work on that book we read last year.” Dice then wrapped both his forelegs at both their necks. “C’mon, three best friends and Gale dating both of us, it’ll be fun! He sighed as he fixed his glasses and crossed his chest with his forehoof and sticked it on his his eye at the end. "Pinkie promise." He muttered as he sat back.
Gale sat on her haunches and wrapped her arms on Mocha and hugged him tightly. She gives him a small lick on the cheek, “This is so going to be so much EPIC!” She shouted from the top of her lungs.
Dice removed his hooves from his ears after hearing that shout. The two stallions does admire her quite a bit but it’s still not enough for a romantic commitment. He readjusted his glasses and looked at both ponies, “Well, it’s one of those once in a lifetime stuff that you do with friends, right?” He gave out a light chuckle to fill the room. “Besides, all of us will always be together. No matter what.”

Mocha fixed his bowtie on the collar of his shirt. He looked at himself at the mirror and nodded. He was ready. Then he collapsed on the floor as he trembled in fear. "I'm not ready for this!" He shouted, but he quickly covered his mouth with his hooves making sure that nopony heard him.

“Anything else?” The waiter asked as he jutted down the orders. Both ponies shook their heads in response. “Alright, please wait for your orders to arrive.” He said before leaving the two alone.
Gale leaned back on her chair and tapped her hooves on the table. Both didn’t spoke to each other for a while until she broke the silence, “So, how’s your work and stuff?”
He raised an eyebrow and crossed his forehooves, “But we live together? How do you not notice that?”
