Sweet Fluffies Part I: The Gentle Heart

Load Full StoryNext Chapter

You are Greg. You're certainly not the most fortunate, or well off of fellows. You are overweight, recently lost your job, currently no girlfriend, and you live in a small apartment, but you do have a heart, if that counts for anything. If there's one thing in your life that you're proud of, it's your fluffies. You always make sure to give each of your fluffies all the care, attention, and hugs you can give each day, as you get their "wuvs" and cuddles in return. Some of the fluffies you own you bought from pet shops, and others that you've rescued from shelters or the streets. You love fluffies. A lot. Often you are called "hugboxer," "part of the problem," "fluffy-fag," "weirdo," "man-child," "virgin," "faggot," "loser," "dipshit" for your obsession, but you don't care. You proudly take ownership of the term hugboxer, and your love of fluffies has gotten to the point it has ruined your social life as well as financially. You don't care about that either. Who needs friends, money, or a lover when you have fluffies!

So what if the city is dealing with an overpopulation of fluffies to the point that shelters are being filled with ownerless fluffies, and that there's a rampant "feral fluffy problem." The more fluffies the better, you say. They are just so full of love and cuteness, so why does everyone hate them so much? People should give these fluffies more love and better care so they don't have to suffer in shelters, or starve in the streets. They're not a pest problem. People should stop treating them as pests, and stop the fluffy violence, abuse, and killing. "People are just so, so cruel... thank god there's a nice guy like me to save them from their troubles!" you think to yourself as you're happily skipping along, humming the My lil' Fluffy tune from your favorite FluffTV show out loud. The people on the streets are giving you looks of disgust or disapproval as you pass by them. You might have even heard a "DO THE WORLD A FAVOR AND KILL YOURSELF YOU FAGGOT!" or two, but you don't care.

Today is a shining bright sunny day, and a great day to be a fluffy lover. You have your most comfy sweatpants on, your favorite "Fluffiest Pink Fluffy" shirt showing the fluffiest pink fluffy ever, and a skip to your step. As you're skipping along happily, you notice an enticing and salivating smell. You take in a deep waft of it as you inhale this deliciously exquisite aroma. You've never smelt anything this appetizing before. You lift your nose up high to get in as much of the scent as you inhale again with the biggest grin on your face. People give you shocked and extremely weirded out looks as you stand on your tippy toes and bring your hands up close to your shoulders, both your hands pointing outwards on each side, your elbows tucked in as you flutter your hands like wings, just like your favorite fluffy pegasis from your favorite FluffTv does when she flaps her wings to fly. As you prance your way down the streets following that delectable smell, people go out of their way to avoid contact, children looking terrified and confused, hiding their faces behind their parents as they shield their children at the sight of a fully grown, neck-bearded, fat man in sweatpants, socks with flip flops, and a t-shirt with a picture of a pink cartoon fluffy prancing down the streets flapping his hands, while cracking a wide and unsettling, childish grin.

"Mmmmmmm..." You go as you stop in front of the source of the mysterious smell. In front of you is a small restaurant with Japanese letters and the cutest, most cuddly looking yellow cartoon fluffy mascot with an apron and chef hat, ever, on the sign, and a statue of same cute, happy yellow fluffy by the entrance. The one thing you love almost as much as fluffies, are sweets and Asian food. You go in, taking in more of the aroma, while closing your eyes and moaning pleasurably from the pleasantness of the food's scent. The restaurant is small, with a couple small tables, and a bar and stool setup at the back. There is a cheesy Asian theme playing in the background that almost sounds like it belongs in a Japanese Sentai show or something, but you ignore it. You also notice a couple feral fluffies, one a color of a beautiful bright green, with light minty green fluff, and the other a color of sunny yellow fur and bright red fluff, both walking around calling for attention, love, and food, but are ignored by the costumers. You see the yellow one  carrying three tiny infant foals, one the same colors as the mother, the other jet black with a deep blue fluff on its head, and the other a bright red, all resting on her back and under her fluff, which makes you feel especially sad at the site of their neglect. Perhaps you'll adopt them later. You walk up to the bar and sit on one of the stools. Behind the bar is a middle aged Japanese man in a chefs hat sporting the cute fluffy mascot. and white apron, with a sharp stare in his gaze. "Konichiwa! My good friend! I am Greg-san, and I would like to order some food from your fine establishment." You say cheerfully, making a strange emphasis on your pronunciation of the Japanese words. People around you look at you with disaproval as they turn their heads towards you before turning back and eating their food.

"What you want order?" The Asian man says in a very foreign accent and broken English. His serious gaze now on you.'

"Well, what do you recommend to a new customer, such as I?" You say with a smile.

"We have Teriyaki special today."He says in his strong accent. "It popu'rar choice right now."

You smack your lips and think for a second. "Hmmm... Alrighty then! I'll take the special today! And a Mountain Dew, if you have available, Arrigatougowzaimashu." You say, trying to impress with your shoddy pronunciation of the Japanese language.

The Asian man's expression stays stone cold serious and unchanged as he says "Alright, one second."

He yells out in the back in Japanese with clear anger in his voice towards the staff in the back.

"Geez guy, no need to be stressed... He could use a fluffy pal to mellow himself out..." You think to yourself as he heads out to the kitchen in the back, and more yelling happens.

You think you might have heard a screech or two in the kitchen, and crying, but that might have been in your head as it quickly stopped.

You sit impatiently waiting, listening to the cheesy Asian music in the background, your anticipation for your food growing by the minute, as you  are surrounded by the appetizing aroma of the food around you. Finally after waiting what seems like an eternity, the middle aged man comes back with a tray holding a warm steaming bowl of vegetables and the most delicious smelling meat you've smelt in... well EVER! He puts the bowl down and hands you chopsticks.

"Here. Your order ready." He says calmly. before serving you a glass of Mountain Dew with ice.

Your mouth salivates at the site of the food in front of you and you eagerly dig in with your chopsticks. You notice the Asian man staring at you intently as you put the  first slab of meat into your mouth. You are immediately taken aback. If you thought the food smelled amazing, it was nothing compared to the flavor. The meat is so tender, and all the right amounts juiciness. This meat practically melts in your mouth in a strange yet perfectly done blend of delicious meatiness, soy, and sweetness. If Nirvana had a flavor, this had to be it. You eagerly wolf down the rest of the food into your mouth, chewing the meat down, tearing into it like a voracious carnal beast. This meat is so tender! So savory... It's too good!

"I take it you enjoying your food?" The Asian man asks.

"Yes! Oh my god, this is so good! I would like to order seconds! and thirds maybe! What else do you have on the menu!?" You ask eagerly.

The asian man then smiles, content at your compliments of the food, then offers you the full menu. You then order the "Teriaki Special" again, as well as the "Micro Special Gyoza Extravaganza,"  since you looooove dumplings. He goes in. More angry screaming in Japanese as the asian chef goes into the kitchen. You could swear you heard another shriek, and more crying, but it's hard to hear over the loud clanking of the kitchen, and all the noise from customers and the outside.

As you wait for your food to arrive, you hum the My Lil' Fluffy tune while sipping your Mountain Dew. One of fluffies from before gets kicked hard off the leg of one of the customers it was harassing for "Nummehs" and "Cuddows," knocking it down, before getting up, saddened. It then  starts walking towards you. You also notice the yellow mare with her litter on her back walking towards you as well. They both look up to you nuzzling your cankle as you turn towards them.

"Need nummies and home fow babbehs... You be new daddeh...? We pwomise to wuvs nice mista foweva and eva!" The mare says in a voice you could never say no to as her foals chirp on her back.

The other one looks up at you and says "Me wun away fwom mean daddeh who hit with sowwy stick and give meanie owwies erryday. Me need new daddeh who give wuvs and cuddows and huggies aww day to Pooface, not ouchies..."

Their eager, begging eyes melt your cholesterol filled heart. "Aww... Of course I'll take care of you guys! I'll be your guys' new daddeh, and you can have all the 'wuvs' and hugs you want!" You say with a big warm smile.

"Yaaaay! New daddeh! New daddeh! Wuvs new daddeh!" Both fluffies say in unison as they look up at you with their big bright eyes.

At that moment, your food arrives and you thank the asian man as he serves both bowls of food to you. You eagerly dig in, starting with the gyoza soup. The gyoza soup exceeded your expectation, in particular, the dumplings. The outside of the dumpling was perfectly soft, while the inside melted in your mouth, exploding with exquisitely delectable flavor. It has an extremely juicy savor, but with a perfect blend of a subtle sweet aroma into the flavor and a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. It's so DELICIOUS!

As you are eagerly gulping down your dumplings, the green fluffy begins to impatiently tug on your socks and cheap sandles, while the yellow one looks up at you.

"Daddeh, Pooface wan nummehs... Pooface wan go home!"

You turn to him and patiently tell him "Hold your horses, little guy! After I'm done here I'll give you all the yummiest nummies you'll ever have, okay? I promise." You laugh a little, before asking "By the way little guy... Pooface is a sorry name for a cute lil' fella like you..."

Pooface looks up at you and says "Fiwst daddeh, before meanie munstah daddeh, gibs Pooface name."

You look down shaking your head, thinking how some cruel jerk-faces can't appreciate the cuteness and adorableness of a fluffy and how dare they to treat such a beautiful thing the way they do, while stuffing your mouth full with the dumplings.

" H'as' a h'erriboh name.... You nee' a be' er name. Lemme  h'ink..." You say with your mouth filled to the brim with dumplings that you just can't stop yourself from stuffing into your mouth. As you finally finish the last of your dumplings, you turn back to see both fluffies looking at you eagerly. "Alright, I decided, little green guy. You're not 'Pooface,' your name is now Minty."

The green fluffy jumps up and down excitedly "Yaaay! Minty wikes nyu name! Me ams Minty now!"

You then look at the yellow mare and ask "You have a name lil missy?" You smile.

"Nu name. Aways been just fwuffy..." She says sadly.

"AWw that's no good! You and your babies need names!" You say shaking your head before loudly thinking. Hmmm....Lets see here... You'll be... Sunshine! And your babies will be... The red one will be Cherry, the black one will be... Hmmm... Blacky! And finally the lil' yellow one will be Sparkle!" You smile, satisfied with the names you've given them, and by the overjoyed expression of Sunshine, The yellow mare, so is she.

"Wuvs nyu names! Nyu daddeh, bestest daddeh, evah! Wuv nicest, bestest nyu daddeh!" She exclaims happily.

You smile as you turn to eat your Teriyaki Special. As you  put the first piece in your mouth, you groan pleasurably. It's so good... You can't contain your gluttonous desire for this food fit for the gods as you ravenously slurp and chew down the food.

"Look at him. What a disgusting fucking pig." You hear one of the customers say in revulsion as they look at you, appalled at the sight of your eating mannerisms. You don't care about them, you don't care that there are pieces of food dripping down your chin and onto your shirt as you eat this heavenly food. You are in Nirvana right now. While you are eating your Teriyaki, you see the asian gentleman from before, looking at the costumers, and probably waiting for someone else to come in and make an order.

You call out to him, "Excuse me, good sir. I must know. What is this teriyaki made of? I've never tasted anything as good as this teriyaki, or these dumplings."

He gives you the same serious look. You look back as you thoroughly enjoy the slab of delicious meat you have in your mouth.

"Teriyaki made of f'ruffy meat, Dump'ring from gyoza soup made with micro f'ruffy meat. All meat on menu, f'ruffy meat. All killed and cooked fresh in kitchen."

A few seconds pass as you stare the chef, trying to process the information that was just given to you. "W-what..?" Is all you can say, your face contorted in a state of horror, shock, and disbelief.

"F'ruffy beaten on chopping board with tenderizing stick right before killing. Beating f'ruffy makes meat sweeter. Micro f'ruffies thrown in pot of boiling water. Boiled alive keep freshness and taste. You seem like gentleman who not shy about his f'ruffy meat. I suggest you try 'Furai Special.' Foal stuffed inside sliced belly of mother freshly killed on cutting board, and fried alive right after being battered in mother. Most delicious, but we only offer for true f'ruffy meat lovers. You try." The chef says as he looks at you, waiting for your answer.

You get up slowly, cold sweats now all over your body as you look down at the bowl containing the meat, that you now know is made from the cutest, most innocent beings on the planet. You feel ill in your stomach as you realize what you just ate. You put down on the counter the money owed for the check, your hand trembling as you set the money on the table.

"N-no thanks.... I think I'm good." Your voice is shaky as you speak.

"Okay... come back again anytime." The chef says, sounding a little displeased, as you walk away.

Your stomach feels queasy. You say nothing as you leave that dreaded fluffy killing hellhole. You feel horrible, sick, disgusting. In one instant your day went from magical to a nightmare. You ate your favorite thing in the whole world AND ENJOYED IT. You contributed to the suffering of cute innocent creatures to satiate your gluttonous desire for food. You're a monster.

You run, crying, trembling uncontrollably, as people get out of their way looking at you with alarmed and uncomfortable looks on their faces as they watch a sobbing, sniffling, weird neckbearded man with food and sauce dripping down his chin and on his shirt, awkwardly run past them, covering his face with his hands, and loudly bawling like a frantic child. In the distance, Mint and Sunshine are chasing screaming desperately "Wait! Don't weave us! Daddeh!"

You finally reach the front of your apartment building and curl up into a ball then you keep crying uncontrollably. A few moments later Mint and Sparkle show up in front of you, nuzzling at your leg.

"Daddeh make sad wawa's.... Minty nu wike seeing daddeh make sad wawa's... it make Minty wanna make sad wawa's...."

Sunshine stares at you with the saddest eyes you've ever seen. Her infant foals chirping and peeping as they lay against her back "Nu make sad wawa's Daddeh..."

You smile at the support of your two new buddies. "You guys are the bestest... I wuvs you both! I want to introduce you guys to your new friends in Daddy's house." You smile.

The both of them now showing excitement as they follow you into your apartment. "Yay! Nyu fwiends! Nyu Fwiends!" They both cry out in excitement.

As you smile from watching their enthusiasm, you then notice, to your horror, that in the back of your mind, you are picturing how the both of them would taste, picturing their succulent meat, flavored with teryaki sauce, in your mouth. You can't get that divine taste out of your head, you realize. Your mouth begins to salivate. You even catch yourself thinking of how much more tender the foal meat of Sunshine's babies must be, than that of an adult fluffy. You can taste it... You then shake your head, thinking to yourself "No! Get that out of your head, Greg! Fluffies are FRIENDS not FOOD! They're not food... They're not food... Not food..." You tremble as you feel a moment of weakness, before clearing your head.

"Everyone!" You call out as you, Minty, and Sunshine with her foals all enter your home. "We have new guests that are going to be staying with us. I want you guys to give them a warm welcome since they'll be part of our family!"

As you say that, you hear a scurrying of feet running across from all different rooms in your apartment, and excited voices.

"Nyu fwiends?"

"Yay! Nyu fwens!!"

"I wan' meet nyu fwiends!"
