epilogue

Truffle trotted up to his old teacher's house with great fear. He and cheerilee have been such good friends since he was a foal. But she was 38 and ½, and he was 21.Could he really marry a mare that old?

“Come one Truffle you can do this. Just do it! Press the gosh danged button.”

“Truffle is that you?” A sweet voice said behind the door.

“Yes!” Truffle said awkwardly.

Cheerilee opened the door. Truffle saw the beautiful face that always made him smile.

“Hi truffle, long time no see!” Cheerilee said.

A cat nudges his hooves.”Yeah It has been awhile, 3 months, but you know with the new restaurant and all I've been busy!”

“Come one in sweetie!” cheerilee said with a very welcoming tone.

Truffle entered the modest home just as he remembered it, but it had more cats then he remembered!

“I got two more cats since you came last. One’s over there. I think it’s sleeping on Lyra and Bonbon’s foal’s ungraded homework.

Truffle stopped Cheerilee in her tracks. He smiled and bent down on one hoof. Cheerilee froze in shock, as it looked like he was doing something she thought no pony would do.

“Cheerilee, will you marry me?”

Cheerilee found this to good to be true! “Truffle Alex Shuffle don't tease me!”

Truffle laid a hoof on her face, and kissed her lips.

Cheerilee about to burst into tears of joy said, ”You're not joking are you?”

He nodded.

Cheerilee screamed to the heavens “YES!” and fell to the ground.

Truffle giggled, put the ring on her hoof and gently laid his wife to be on the couch tucking her in tight.

“Sweet dreams my love.” He whispered into her ear.”When you awake I’ll serve you the most romantic dinner ever!”

Truffle kissed her one more time and went in the kitchen to start making dinner.
