The sun shined through Twilight Sparkle's window, which woke up the Princess of Friendship as it shined on her face. She then lifted herself up and gave a steady yawn as she was ready for the new day...only to fall straight up onto the ceiling.
"What the?" Twilight stuttered in shock. Looking up, she realized that it wasn't her that was on the ceiling, rather it was her bed that was on the ceiling.
"What in Equestria?" She asked herself.
"Twilight!" screamed Spike, all the way in his side of the castle. Worried for her assistant, Twilight ran as fast as she could towards his room.
"Spike!" she screamed as she entered his room, "What's wrong? Are you hurt?"
Finally getting a good look at the dragon, she noticed that Spike was no longer a dragon.
"Why am I dog again?" he barked. Twilight herself had a face that showed both shock and confusion as her #1 assistant stared at her as mare's best friend. Then all of a sudden the floor started to slant, causing both Twilight and Spike to slide out of Spike's room. After sliding into a wall, is seemed as if the whole castle was rotating. Because of this, Twilight's face changed from shock and confusion to pure anger.
"That's it! We're getting out of here," she stated, "Hold on Spike."
Twilight then teleported both her and Spike out of the castle. Once they were out, the two of them saw that the castle really was rotating.
"It's about time you woke up," said a familiar voice, "For a second I thought I had to get rid of the whole castle."
Turning around, Twilight and Spike saw Discord sitting in a lounge chair eating popcorn out of a bucket.
"Want some?" he offered, "I made it myself."
"Discord," Twilight said through gritted teeth, "What are you doing to my castle?"
"And what did you do to Ponyville?" Spike asked as he pointed a paw towards the town. It appeared that, once again, Ponyville looked like it did when Discord took control the first time,
"Didn't the two of you get the memo?" he asked, clearly knowing that they didn't have a clue as to what he was talking about, "It's Discord Day!"
"What the heck is Discord Day?" Twilight asked as flying pigs flew over her and Spike's head.
"I'm so glad you asked," Discord said as he made the chair and popcorn disappear with a snap of a finger. "You see, it all started right after Fluttershy had 'reformed' me...."
Months ago:
Discord and Celestia were sitting at opposite ends of a long table. They both stared at each other as they had just finished their newly made deal.
"So, in recap," said Discord, "You will allow me to do whatever I want, wherever I want, in no less than one month."
"One day," Celesita stated.
"One week," Discord bargained.
"One day," Celestia stated again.
"Two days," Discord bargained once more.
"One. Day," Celestia said for the last time.
"Fine," Discord said as he gave up, "No less than one day."
"And you are not allowed to harm any children," Celestia told him.
"Define children," Discord requested.
"Anyone under the age of eighteen," Celestia explained.
"Well how am I supposed to know when someone is under eighteen or not?" Discord asked, "It's hard enough to tell whether or not some pony is 18 or 21."
"If they look like the same size and shape as Twilight and her friends, they are eighteen," Celestia explained.
"Hm. Fair enough," Discord said, accepting the deal.
"And one more thing," Celestia told him, "You are not allowed to touch a hair on any of the princesses."
"How about just three of the princesses," Discord bargained.
"None of the princesses," Celestia stated.
"Two of the princesses," Discord bargained.
"NONE, of the princesses," Celestia stated for the last time.
"How about I just don't affect ONE, of the princesses?" Discord bargained. This time Celestia remained silent as she considered the offer.
"Which princess exactly?" she asked.
Present Day:
"PRINCESS CELESTIA SOLED ME, LUNA, AND CADENCE OUT?!" Twilight screamed, not believing what she was hearing.
"I know. Even I was surprised," Discord said, "But don't worry Twilight, we also made a deal that by the end of the day, everything will go back to normal. Which is why I'm going to have as much fun as I can. Now if you don't mind, I've been quite curious lately on what would happen if Schmoozie took a trip to the Crystal Empire. Make sure to have a happy Discord Day."
And with that, Discord snapped his fingers and disappeared...only to reappear half a second later.
"Ooh! I almost forgot," said Discord as he snapped his fingers causing two t-shirts to appear on Spike and Twilight that said "Happy Discord Day".
"Made them yesterday," he said, "Pretty neat huh?"
He then snapped his fingers again, this time causing Twilight's castle to turn into a giant book.
"I also wanted to leave you with another gift," he said to the shocked Spike and Twilight, "I know how much you love reading."
Discord snapped his fingers once more, and he disappeared for real this time.
Twilight was running through Ponyville, taking note on every chaotic change Discord has made. Muffins with wings were flying out of Sugar Cube Corner and were attacking Derpy, Mayor Mare was sitting in a bird cage in the middle of the town, and she noticed that in the distance, Rainbow's house looked more pink than usual. After a little more running, Spike had finally caught up.
"Twilight would you slow down," he panted.
"I can't Spike," Twilight told him, "Discord turned Ponyville back into the 'Chaos Capital of the World' again. We have to try and help ponies who are in danger, and try to get rid of at least some of the changes he's made."
Suddenly, a high pitched scream could be heard in the distance causing Spike and Twilight to stop in their tracks.
"That sounded like Rarity," Spike said with a worried expression, "We have to help her."
The two then ran as fast as they could towards Carousel Boutique.
"Rarity? Rarity?!" Spike screamed when they finally entered the building.
"Rarity are you alright?" Twilight yelled, worried for her friend.
"NO! I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT ALRIGHT!" Rarity screamed from her room. Knowing where she was, Spike and Twilight ran towards her.
"Don't worry Rarity," Twilight reassured her, "We'll help you."
"NO! PLEASE, DON'T COME IN!" she begged, "I'M HIDEOUS I TELL YOU. HIDEOUS!"
"Oh come on Rarity," Spike said as Twilight opened the door, "I'm sure you don't look that bad. In fact, I bet you're as beautiful as ev-SWEET CELESTIA!"
The two of them saw Rarity standing in front of a mirror, completely bald. And not bald as in she lost her mane and tail, but bald as in her coat was missing too.
"I mean-You look great," Spike said with a fake smile.
"I look like an overgrown chihuahua with a unicorn horn," Rarity sobbed, "Who would possibly do such an awful thing."
"I'll give you a hint," Twilight told her, "Read the shirt."
Rarity read the "Happy Discord Day" T-shirts Spike and Twilight were wearing, and her sadness soon turned into anger.
"Discord," she growled, "Of course that ruffian would do such a thing. But out of curiosity: What's Discord Day?"
"My new least favorite holiday," Twilight explained, "I'll tell you more later. Right now we need to help every pony else in town."
"I can't possibly go out looking like this," Rarity said as she examined herself in the mirror, "Just give me a minute as I...cover up."
One wardrobe change later:
"Is all of that really necessary?" Twilight asked Rarity, who was wearing a winter coat, snow pants, boots, and a ski mask.
"Of course it's all necessary," Rarity told her, "I don't want to even think about the horrified looks ponies would make when looking at me. Besides, it's awfully chilly without my coat."
The two ponies and Spike then started to help every pony they came across. Some had minor problems like a pegasus getting trapped in a cotton candy cloud. Others had more difficult problems like a pony getting tied up by plunderseeds vines.
"So what did Discord do to the rest of our friends?" Rarity asked after helping another pony.
"I don't know really," Twilight explained, "I only know that he turned Spike into a dog, and made you bald."
"Don't say it out loud," Rarity hissed.
"Um, girls," Spike said, "I think I know what he did to Pinkie Pie."
The two mares turned to Spike, who was pointing a paw at Pinkie Pie. They also noticed that she was bouncing as if she was in slow motion.
"Hhhiii Twwwiiillliiighhht," she said slowly, "Hhhiii dooog thhhaaat llloooksss aaannnd sssooouuunnndsss llliiike Ssspiiike, aaannnd hhheeelllooo tooo yyyooouuu rrraaannndooommm pooonnnyyy Iii dooonnn't rrrreeecooognnniiizzze."
"Pinkie?" Twilight said as she looked at her friend in confusion.
"What happened to you darling?" Rarity asked worriedly.
"Wwwoooaaah, ssslllooowww dooowwwnnn," Pinkie responded slowly, "Yyyooouuu'rrre taaalllkiiinnnggg sssooo fffaaassst thhhaaat Iii caaannn't uuunnnderrrrssstaaannnd yyyooouuu. Iiinnn fffaaact, iiisss iiit jjjuuussst mmmeee, ooorrr iiisss eeevvverrryyy pooonnnyyy booothhh taaalllkiiinnnggg aaannnd mmmooovvviiinnnggg aaa lllooot fffaaasssterrr tooodaaayyy?"
"It looks like Discord made it so Pinkie is super slow." Twilight explained, "Pinkie, me, Rarity and Spike are going to Sweet Apple Acres to stop what Discord might have done there. You wait here and we'll'-"
"Ssslllooowww dooowwwnnn Twwwiiillliiighhht," Pinkie interrupted, "Iii caaannn't uuunnnderrrssstaaannnd yyyooouuu."
Twilight sighed and then she got an idea. She picked up a stick, and started to write a message in the dirt that said: "Pinkie, we're going to Sweet Apple Acres to stop any changes Discord might have done there. You wait here and we'll come back to help you once we figured out what happened to the rest of our friends."
"Rrreeeaaad Thhhiiisss," Twilight slowly told Pinkie so she could understand her this time.
"Oookeee Doookeee Llloookeee," Pinkie responded slowly as she started to read the message.
"Come on let's go," Twilight told the other two. They ran off and Pinkie had just got halfway with reading the first word of the message.
"Slow Down!" yelled Apple Bloom as she chased apples with arms and legs, "Ah can't go to school with y'all actin' like this."
"Apple Bloom," said Twilight, getting the filly's attention. Her, Spike and Rarity had came into Sweet Apple Acres to notice that a bunch of Apples with arms and legs were running around.
"Howdy Twilight," Apple Bloom said, nearly out of breath. "Sorry, but Ah can't talk right now. Me and My family are a bit preoccupied at the moment."
"Clearly," said Spike as he took notice of the apples. He also took notice that Apple Bloom was staring at him.
"Spike is that you?" she asked, "Wow. Y'all actually look better as dog rather than a dragon. What do you think Winona."
"Meh, Ah've seen better," said a talking Winona reading a magazine on the porch. Turning away from her new talking dog, Apple Bloom saw the shocked expressions on both ponies and Spike.
"Oh trust me," she told them, "That is the second normal thing that could've happened today. I woke up this mornin' to the sound of a filly crying. I noticed that was comin' from Granny's room, only to see that my granny was somehow a foal. Then Big Mac came to check out the noise, only he was dressed up as Orchard Blossom again. Took me awhile to realize that he really thinks he is Orchard Blossom."
"For the last time Apple Bloom," said Orchard Blossom as she walked towards the group with a green foal in her hoofs, "Ah am not cousin Big Macintosh. In fact, you sayin' Ah look like him is just down right insultin'."
"Sure it is Orchard Blossom," Apple Bloom told her "cousin", "Anyway, after Ah figured out that this wasn't another weird dream Ah was havin', Ah came outside to see that our apples were runnin' all willy-nilly. And weirdest of all: they made Applejack the queen of all apples."
The group then turned to see Applejack sitting on throne with a crown on her head and a cane with an apple on the end was in her hooves.
"Ma and Pa were right," she said with tears in her eyes, "Dreams really do come true."
"And here I thought that I've seen everything on Discord Day," said Spike, not turning away from the newly named Queen Applejack.
"Discord Day?" Apple Bloom inquired, "Y'all mean to tell me that Discord is behind all this."
"No he meant that this was all done by Bill Cipher," said a fancy voice, "Of course it was all done by Discord you hayseed."
"Jeez Rarity you don't have to be so rude," Twilight told her friend.
"That wasn't me," Rarity said in confusion.
"It was me," said the fancy voice. Turning around the group saw a cyan pony with a curly rainbow mane, who was also wearing a sunhat and fancy dress.
"I never really trusted that ruffian who's known as our 'friend'," said the pony, "Turning my house into cotton candy was one thing, but nearly ruining this dress and my hat is absolutely another."
"...R-Rainbow?" Twilight stuttered, not believing what was right in front of her face.
"Is-is that really you darling?" Rarity asked.
"Of course it's me," Rainbow told them, "And don't let what I just said fool you, for I am slowly dying on the inside. I actually care about how I look. I didn't even fly over here because I thought it would ruin my mane. LISTEN TO ME! I sound like Rarity only I'm even WORSE!"
"Hey!" Rarity yelled, "I just so happen to take offense to that."
"Sweet Celestia Rarity that's you?!" Rainbow said in shock, "I hardly recognized you with that travesty of an outfit you're wearing. You have much better fashion sense than that. Wait? Did that monster Discord take away you're fabulousness?"
"Um, no," said Rarity as she was blushing under the ski mask, "I chose to wear this on my own free will."
After hearing this, Rainbow gasped.
"You? Out of all fabulous ponies?" she asked, "That is downright impossible. Ooh this makes me feel a bit feint. Some pony catch me."
Twilight used her magic to catch Rainbow Dash before she fell backwards into the dirt.
"I have mixed feelings about this," Rarity stated, "On one hoof: I'm glad that Rainbow Dash is more fancy. On the other hoof: I'm a bit unsettled right now."
"Don't worry," Twilight reassured every pony, "By the end of the day, Discord will thankfully turn everything back to normal. We just need to help other ponies from further danger."
"I hope this day ends soon," Rainbow said getting back on her hoofs, "I can't stand being horrified by ponies fashion choices anymore. Speaking of which, why are you and Spike wearing those horrid t-shirts?"
"Trust me, we tried taking them off," Twilight explained.
"It's like they're fused to our skin," Spike said trying another attempt to take off the shirt.
"How awful," said Rainbow Dash, "I hate to imagine what awful things Discord has done to Fluttershy."
"That's it!" Twilight screamed once realization hit her, "If any pony can stop Discord Day, Fluttershy is sure to do it. Come on, let's head to her cottage and put this day to an end."
"Y'all go ahead," Apple Bloom told the others, "We should probably stay here because Ah think the power is starting to go to Applejack's head."
"Go out my minions," Queen Applejack ordered the apples, "Find any non apple product ya can and bring it here. There's something Ah've been wantin' to do for quite a while."
The ponies and Spike had made it to Fluttershy's cottage to see that there was a magical purple bubble surrounding it.
"My word," said Rarity, "What has he done to Fluttershy?"
"I don't know," Twilight confessed, "But considering the day we've been having, I bet it's not good."
They all stepped through the bubble to see something they were not prepared for.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" yelled a ticked of Rainbow Dash. There were flowers everywhere, with animals frolicking all over the place. As for Fluttershy, she was sitting in a swing with a giant Angle bunny pushing her.
"Oh, hello girls," she said, "Isn't today just the best day ever?"
"Are you serious," Rainbow yelled, "You're living in paradise on Discord Day, where Spike gets turned into a dog, Rarity gets poor fashion sense, I'm suddenly a fashionista and Pinkie is...Pinkie is...Hey where is Pinkie Pie anyway?"
Elsewhere:
"Thhhaaat mmmeeeaaannn ooollld Diiissscorrrd," Pinkie said slowly as she finally finished reading the message, "Iii hhhooope Daaassshhhiiieee teeeaaarrrsss hhhiiimmm aaa nnneeewww...."
Looking around, Pinkie realized that her friends weren't there anymore.
"Twwwiiillliiighhht?" she called slowly, "Rrraaannndooommm pooonnnyyy? Dooog thhhaaat llloooksss llliiike Ssspiiike? Whhherrre iiisss eeevvverrryyy pooonnny?"
Back at Fluttershy's cottage:
"Wait?" Fluttershy asked causing Angle to stop pushing her swing, "What's Discord Day?"
"Come on," said Twilight, "We'll show you."
Meanwhile, on the moon:
"MY SISTER HAS SOLED ME, TWILIGHT AND CADENCE OUT?!" Luna screamed to Discord.
"Hm, that's funny," Discord said now wearing a "Happy Discord Day" t-shirt, "Both Twilight and Cadence screamed the exact same thing when I told them this morning."
"Yeah, that sounds real hilarious," Luna said sarcastically, "Now get me off of the moon!"
"I'd do that, but it wouldn't be in the name of Discord Day now would it?" Discord told Luna. Suddenly, his eagle talon started to ring as if it was a telephone.
"Hold on, I have to take this," he said to an unfazed Luna, "Aren't you going to question why my hand is ringing like a telephone?"
"If it was anyone else I'd question it," Luna explained, "But with you, it doesn't really surprise me."
"Really?" he said, as he made a tape recorder appear, "Note to self: be more unpredictable."
Discord then made the tape recorder go away and then answered his...hand.
"Hello, Discord speaking," he said, "Fluttershy! How are you enjoying the magic bubble I left you?....Are you okay? You sound mad?....It's because you are mad?....Uh huh....Okay I'll be right there....Alright bye."
Discord than hung up his hand (somehow) and then turned back to Luna.
"Sorry to cut this conversation short Luna, but Fluttershy needs me in Ponyvile," he "apologized". Discord then disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared half a second later.
"How could I possibly forget," he said slapping himself on the head.
"Oh thank goodness," said Luna, "For a second I actually thought you were going to leave me he-"
She stopped talking when Discord snapped his fingers and made a "Happy Discord Day" t-shirt appear on Luna.
"Spread the word," he said before disappearing for real this time.
"DISCORD!" Luna yelled to the emptiness of space.
Back in Ponyville:
"I wonder if she knows that in space, no pony can hear her scream?" Discord inquired once he appeared in Ponyville. He then turned around to see an angry Fluttershy with her friends right behind her.
"Is there a problem," Discord asked with a smirk.
"You darn well believe there's a problem!" Fluttershy screamed, "Excuse my language, but if you haven't noticed, Ponyville is suddenly the Chaos Capital of the World again."
"That's the problem?" Discord asked again.
"It's more than just that," Fluttershy continued, "You're making every pony miserable."
"Not every pony," Discord responded, "I'm sure Applejack is enjoying her role as queen of all apples
In front of the barn in Sweet Apple Acres, the apple minions were throwing various amounts of fruits and vegetables into a giant fire.
"YES! BURN THEM! BURN THEM ALL!" Queen Applejack screamed, "DEATH TO ALL NON-APPLE PRODUCTS! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Applejack, ya need to stop this," Apple Bloom begged as she and the rest of the family were in a wooden cage, "Y'all have gone mad with apple based power!"
"Ah haven't gone mad," Queen Applejack told her sister, "Ah'm bringin' justice to my apple minions-Ah mean subjects. NOW THROW IN THAT THERE LETTUCE MY APPLES!"
"...Do you ever get the feeling that a random cut-away just happened," Discord asked the group of ponies (and Spike).
"Discord this is serious," Fluttershy told him, "You need to put Discord Day to an end right now, because if you don't, I'll be very disappointed with you."
Discord face showed that he was clearly torn on what he wanted to do. He then looked at a watch that suddenly appeared on his arm, and his face had shined with glee.
"Would you look at that," he said, "It's already four o' clock in the afternoon. Just in time for the part of Discord Day I've been waiting for."
"Didn't you hear me?" Fluttershy responded, "I said that Discord Day is over. You turn everything back to normal right now."
"And I will Fluttershy," Discord reassured her, "But I promise, one more trick and this will all be over."
Discord than snapped his fingers and there were a bunch of Discords all over.
"Attention all Discords," he said to the Discords, "It's time for the final eight hours of Discord Day."
The Discords all responded with whines and groans. One even asked if it had to end so soon.
"I know I know. I don't want it to end either. But it's time to get to work," he said as he made a top hat appear, "Pick a place in Equestria out of this hat, and do what we-er-I planned."
Each Discord did as they were told. Once each Discord had gotten their place in Equestria, they all snapped their fingers and disappeared.
"What are you up to?" Spike asked.
"You'll see Scooby," Discord told Spike. After snapping his fingers again, every pony in Ponyville were in front of town hall. Discord himself was behind a podium wearing a suit and a top hat.
"Good afternoon every pony," he said, "What do you all think of Discord Day so far?"
"IT STINKS!" everyone yelled.
"You made muffins go against me," Derpy said as Doctor Hooves was comforting her.
"You turned all my cider into non-alcoholic!" Berry Punch said holding a mug of cider, "Now how am I supposed to drown my depressions?"
"Not only that, but you also sent apples to steal all my carrots for some reason," said Carrot Top.
"That wasn't because of Discord!" Queen Applejack screamed, getting every pony's attention, "He may have supplied the apples, but it was me who gave the order. And destroying the produce in Ponyville is stage one of my plan. Next it's Canterlot, then Manehattan, and then, ALL OF EQUESTRIA! HAHAHAHAHAHA-"
WHACK!
Applejack fell face first into the dirt with Winona standing behind her holding a rake in her paws.
"That's enough of that," she said.
"...Alright then," Discord said out of confusion, "Now I am well aware that Discord Day was not that enjoyable to you this morning-"
"YOU GOT THAT RIGHT YOU HAIR STEALING MONSTER!" Rarity interrupted.
"-BUT," Discord continued, "Allow me to make it up to you this afternoon."
With a snap of a finger, buffet tables filled with delicious treats and drinks and a giant speaker that was playing music appeared out of nowhere. However, those weren't the only changes.
"I'm me again!" Spike exclaimed with glee as he stared down at his dragon body.
"So am I!" yelled Rainbow Dash as she was glad to be rid of the fancy dress, "By the way, we will never speak about what I just went through again."
"I wouldn't hold you're breath darling," Rarity said as she removed her ski mask to reveal that she got her mane and coat back, "Some ponies still won't let me live Tom down."
"Guy's look, I'm normal too," Pinkie said as she jumped with joy, "Hooray, everything's normal again!"
"I've had my fun, now it's time for you to have yours," Discord told the ponies. However, no one moved towards the buffet tables or danced to the music. Instead, they just stared at Discord with hate in their eyes.
"Come on. You can actually trust me this time," Discord reassured them, "I promise there is no trick about any of this. Right Pinkie?"
"He's not kidding," Pinkie told the ponies as she was eating a cupcake off of one of the tables, "These cupcakes are delicious."
"You see," said Discord, "Now come on! Let's get this party started shall we."
Some ponies were still more hesitant than others, but after a while, every pony had either grabbed something off of the table or danced along to the music. That is every pony except Twilight, who was still staring at Discord.
'what is he up to?' she thought.
Hours of Partying later:
Every pony was sitting in a field outside of Ponyville. It was late at night, and Discord was setting up fireworks behind all of them.
"You know, I actually like this part of Discord Day," Rainbow confessed to her friend who were all sitting together, "That doesn't mean I forgive him for the rest of the day."
"Although you have to admit," said Fluttershy, "This part of the day show's that he's really trying to change. Wouldn't you agree Applejack?"
"Well I guess that's mostly a matter of opinion sugar cube," Applejack said as she was hogtied to the ground, "By the way, I'm feeling a lot better soooo y'all can untie now."
"I say we give it few more minutes," Apple Bloom suggested, "Wouldn't ya agree Big Mac?"
"Eeyup," Big Mac responded, now free of his dress. Meanwhile, Twilight was following Discord, who was still setting up fireworks.
"Let me guess," she said, "Those fireworks are going to be another prank aren't they?"
"Nope," Discord told her, "These are just a way of ending the day."
"Oh..." Twilight responded, "...Then...this is just a distraction as those other Discords wreak havoc across Equestria."
"Actually they should be doing the exact same thing as we speak," Discord reassured her. And to prove it, he snapped his fingers to show her images of the Discords setting up fireworks in various parts of Equestria.
"So...this really is a way to end the day?" Twilight asked.
"Of course," Discord explained, "The first eight hours of Discord Day is spent going over the plans and making little tweaks. The next eight hours are spent having as much fun as I possibly can. Finally, the last eight hours are spent making sure the ponies have their fair share of fun too."
"Is that another part of the deal you made with Celestia?" Twilight questioned.
"Actually, I decided this part all by my self," Discord answered.
"Come again," Twilight responded as she was shocked to hear this answer.
"You see, the day Celestia and I made this deal, I was excited," Discord explained, "I would do whatever I want with no consequences what so ever. But things changed. After the whole Tirek incident, I realized that freedom to do anything isn't worth it if I cause the friends I made to turn their backs on me. So, I decided to change up the rules of Discord Day, and try not to make ponies too miserable."
"That's...actually mature of you Discord," Twilight confessed, shocked to what she just heard.
"Thanks Twilight," said Discord, "However, it's a shame that the next Discord Day won't happen until the next four years."
"Wait what?" Twilight asked in confusion.
"Yeah, another part of the deal was that Discord Day can only happen once every four years," he explained, "Hey you think after seeing this final change Celestia would allow it to happen once a year?"
"Didn't you sent the Schmooze to the Crystal Empire?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Fair point," Discord said looking at his watch, "Ooh, the day's almost over. You better take a seat with your friends. You don't want to miss the fireworks."
"I guess you're right," said Twilight, "And Discord?"
Discord turned to see that Twilight was still wearing the T-shirt he made.
"Happy Discord Day," she said with a smile. Hearing that, Discord smiled back. He then turned to the rest of the ponies sitting in the field.
"I hoped you all enjoyed Discord Day!" he yelled, "Or at least, the last part of the day."
And with that, Discord had snapped his fingers, and the fireworks were all lit. Then they all flew to the night sky, giving the ponies the best firework show they've ever seen.
Author's Note
The reason that I didn't add Starlight into this story, is because of the fact that it's not really confirmed that she's living in Ponyville. Or we could just say that this takes place before the season 5 finale. Yeah let's go with that.
Anyway, I wanted to make this story in tribute to Discord Day on Equestria Daily. The reason for that is because Discord is what made me interested in the show. Not because of his voice actor (in fact, I didn't even know who John De Lance was back then), but rather because of Discord himself. His design seemed so interesting, and a character that can literally do anything sounds awesome for the possibilities you could do with such a character. One problem I currently have with the guy is that I wish the writers would try and make it seem like Discord is TRYING to be reformed after the events in "Twilight's Kingdom". So what do you think?
