The tale is set in the Alternate Universe of Thomas the Writer, the same as EDUCATIONAL TOY.
Celestia wants to throw a surprise party to celebrate the many heroic magical battles that Thomas, her consort, has fought to save Equestria. Thomas’ sister Nova, a demon, finds out about the party and sets out to wreck it.
