Vampire pony in Equestriaby R-A-B-GChaptersChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 1Chapter One Hello, my name is Rarity, I’m a White coated unicorn with a indigo mane and tail. But I'm not really a full blooded unicorn anymore, I'm what is considered a vampire. Here allow me to first continue to describe myself first before I get in depth with what happened to me to end up this way. Hello my name is Rarity, my fur coat is white and my mane and tail are indigo, I have leathery dragon wings with ivory white claw tips and purple membrane on the underside of the wing membrane, while the upper outer matches my coat. Currently I’m just resting at the edge of the mountain side enjoying my last moments in this world. See the portal that had brought me here is somewhere around here, it opens every so often for a brief moment, long enough for me to anchor it and pass through, I had experimented with it for some time seeing how long it opens, the effects it has around here, and see if I can send something in. I take in a deep breath it was after all a wonderful day today, I can hear the birds singing, I can feel the scurrying scratching vibrations underground, probably skeever rats tunneling. I can see a deer ran across the fields below, I just watch the creature run by. Here I sat at the edge cliff looking down, absorbing it all in, Skyrim. ‘Truly a beautiful land, so full of mystery and adventure.’ I smiled in nostalgia of past adventures. From ingredients for alchemy science to perform amazing magic, to the burrows that dot the lands, filled with undead who greedily protect their secrets within. I after all made a home in one or two in my journey. I have lived here for most of my life, when I first arrived here to this land of horror and beauty I was confused and scared, after all I was only six at the time. It was doubly dangerous for me as vampon- vampires had taken me for themselves. This I couldn't really understand their reasoning, but they had believed a unicorn's blood shall grant them freedom of their curse, feeding off me every day. The food they had given me to keep me alive was decent enough, but for two years they had done this, feeding off my blood desperately trying to save themselves. Most of it was all a haze though, being on a constant blood drain left much of my memory of that time with gaps and pieces where I only ate to sustain myself with the hay given to me, and hours where I cried myself to sleep. It wasn't pleasant at all I can tell you that much. So there I was laying on the stone floor where I was keeping myself occupied with drawing on the floor with charcoal, it was one of the rare moments where they had left me alone long enough to recover from my drained state and able to do more then lay down and eat and go to the bathroom all day. I was a mess my fur was brown and caked with mud, dirt, and my own blood. I couldn't recognize my white coat anymore, my mane was just as covered in dirt and grime as my coat. I remember this day vividly, I still get nightmares from time to time. It was the day they decided to just end me. They had enough of me for all my blood was doing for them was relieve their cure temporary rather than cure them outright, so they had decided to kill me in one quick motion by nearly draining me dry. Hoping draining me completely would fix their problem. I was so scared back then, I still remember feeling my body go numb, as the world fades in and out, I could see, and feel my blood leave my body in slow motion… as one by one each had more than their fill while I lay on the floor. I twitch pathetically at their mercy as I could no longer remain conscious, but every time I did fall asleep, they would wake me up with a spell, prolonging my suffering. I was so weak and unable to fight back during the whole intense session, I was at death's door when I was rescued. A man, tall, covered in hair on his face, a beard I later learned. He wore impressive armor that gleamed and glowed in an unnatural light, however didn't impede his ability to remain hidden. I could see him, but it was mostly in a faze I thought him only another one of these monsters. No one heard him coming as they were all in the main chamber so they could all feed off me in one fell swoop, no doubt the surprise when he came into their ranks and started hacking away at them, armed with sword in one hand that glowed like a star and with every swing had alight each vampire a flame, and a ball of light in another that tore through these vile creatures. But I was already too far gone, nearly drained of all my blood, my once pristine white coat now covered in dry caking blood barely able to breathe I must had been a pathetic sight indeed. I had hardly notice the woman who followed him, she had flung spells at the monsters but I did not know what she had done however, but upon noticing me had said something, I do not know what, but after a moment in an act of compassion I would not ever had expected from creatures that look like the monsters who had feed off me for two years to perform, and although I would not had known it an important decision had been made. The man nodded and with a familiar tingle in my neck something was injected into me I had fallen asleep soon after, I had believed it to be the last time I would ever wake up, as I endure the feeling of being fed on for so long I thought she was getting her fill. I was so wrong on that account it was funny now. I had woken up in a large house three days later, fully rested and in sheets made of leather hides from many a different creature, but I had slept in worse, as a metal cage filled with blood and gore is a far cry from the comfortable bedding I had found myself in, my coat was cleaned, however I still see it forever stained slightly pink, in the blood that never could be washed away. I quickly snapped back from my musings of the past, as I felt a familiar pull of magic, that pull of being, of a home I once been to, a tug back towards the cave behind me. Turning around I marched back inside. The very same one I had arrived in. It is almost time. When I had first arrived here, I was trying to get my... cutie mark, I sighed as I had almost forgotten about what a cutie mark was. I was working hard to improve costumes of some play I had forgotten about. “It must be perfect!” I had yelled out childishly. I was so vain back then. When I was being dragged across the land by my magic I had come across a rock, but with a deafening and an a explosion of colors it cracked open, but it did not stop there a purple beam of magic of some kind had struck it. I do not know where it came from, or what it did but the results that happened afterward spoke for themselves. So after taking cover behind a rock I peeked out to watch in slow motion as the arranged crystals and gems inside the rock glowed and resonated with the magic, and in a complex and unexplained way, a portal open one filled with stars spanning out into infinity. Curious I sneaked out from my cover and made my way to the portal, and in an act of stupidity of a young filly that I was. So I touched the portal, a mistake that could had saved so much pain in the future if I was a bit smarter and avoided it. ‘What's done was done, no need to cry over it.’ I mentally shrugged at that. My hoof glowed white and it creeped up my leg I screamed in fright, next my whole body glowed similar as my hoof, I was blinded by as I believe my eyes also glowed, then… I found myself here. After the thought on how I got here I felt the time closing in, much study of the portal area I had learned that the magic resonated to me when I had touched it, so I'm able to tell where it is, as well as tell if its opening. if I could have a talent it maybe of magic, I was brought here by a crystal portal after all, I had extensive study on said portal, and other magical abilities while traveling skyrim... I looked behind me, at the blank bare mark where my cutie mark should had been, this land, this curse, or blessing. It had robbed me of the ability to ever get a cutie mark. ‘Finding out my special talent never mattered to me anymore now.’ I thought in final towards that thought line. But I no longer care for such things anymore, I have grown bitter in my life, more so, as I had remain a small filly for so long, and I tell you if I keep hearing the line. ‘Aw what an adorable small filly,’ someone is going to be losing a face, and it isn't going to be me! Being so small among giants had left me sensitive of my height. Shaking my head from the angry thoughts I turn back to my musings of the past. Dragonborn, that's what he was called by many, but to me, he was called Jacob, a very simple name, then again I have nothing to complain about. Before I was a young filly, I had never understood their language, I had to learn theirs. I called him Mr, when I was able to form sentences. Another pull, sharper, I have learned how to use my magic from him, he was a great teacher, keeping it slow, explaining the steps to me, he has been very patient with me, even when I messed up a spell and ended up with soot covered everything afterwards. I could not had asked for a better tutor. He told me of how he had to pay large sums of coins just to get the same kind of education he had, but at that point had already learned by trial and error. He said I didn't have to pay the large sums of gold his teachers forced him to pay with when I asked if I had to. I have also learned how to use weapons of all kinds on the side, even to make my own, I’d admit, making weapons, armor, and jewelry is a passion of mine, I'm sure if I could, my cutie mark would show my talent in it. ‘aaaand now I’m melancholy again…. great’ I scowled at a lone flower in front of me, then ate it out of spite, even though I do not get any nourishment from it. But who cares? I turned towards a slope and jumped off it, opening my wings briefly I glide down the rest of the way, not before weaving through the tree canopy before landing at the stone circle at the bottom, I looked around and saw the bones of dead vampires in the area, Jacobs victims when they hunted him down here I shake my head at it, all this time, and I never asked him believing him not to know where this spot was, ah so many wasted years. I stood up from my landing position, chewing on my latest victim, I have set out off on my own when I was old enough… mentally of course not body wise, a side effect of having vampirism at such a young age. I was able to swing a sword good enough to cleave a troll in half, with my hooves not my magic, as I was taught to swing with magic was a risky business, as my mana will run out eventually. Besides with my curse I’m able to swing stronger than any man or mer, besides Jacob. I tucked in my gear, checking to make sure everything was in place. I do not want to lose anything upon arrival in the world beyond. The first thing I checked was my sword, I had made it at Whiterun at the skyforge, a Rapier, from what I understand it's a rare piece of weaponry as most people go for the more larger swords then the flimsy weapon I have. My weapon is a elegant one meant for piercing, with extended practice I can get past armor fairly easy I believe thats what its main function was meant for. Next was my herb satchel, filled with seeds for future alchemy experiments. Everything is in order once I find a suitable place to live I shall plant my own garden like Jacob did. Everything else was just general adventure garb, potions, water, some empty vials, a few handful of soul gems. I didn't had a need for food as eating isn't really required, however I do enjoy the odd sweetroll every once in awhile. I checked my equipment next, my leather garb suited me, its hood and hidden flaps for my wings to fold under allows me to move around rather easily without scaring most people, mostly the enchantment upon it for people not to stare too long. Only some rather gifted in magic or perception would notice my presence, this gear allows for me to walk among the citizens of skyrim without much fuss, unless I do something deliberately to stand out I would go unnoticed for the most part. Suddenly my ears perk up, ‘I could sense it.’ I thought as I looked at the magic leakage coming out from the veil, the magic is soothing and stable, making the land around it a peaceful grove, it had taken considerable amount of time to find it, I of course mentioned Jacob had in fact, already been here. The moth cave or something. I tell you now, I still fumed after that revelation, teaches me to only read the interesting bits in his journal. I reach out to the veil sensing it with my magic, getting a feel for it, and with a twist of my head, and a swish of my mane. I made the hole bigger turning a scar into an open wound seeing the familiar starry field on the other side. With no hesitation, I walked through the portal, sealing it on my way out, While Skyrim is a wonderful and dangerous land, and Jacob might miss me, he knew I was searching for a way home, he is a man of few words, one of action, he already said his goodbyes, and hugs. It was all that was needed. He had prepared me, shaped me into a fine warrior that is his equal, with a little bit of help with dark magic of course, after all he is dragonborn I seen him take down fucking dragons! An act that I be hard press to accomplish. I am home, was my thoughts the journey was similar to my first one, rather quick and bright. I found myself in a dark forest, I look up at the tree canopy seeing unfamiliar stars above and the peaks of moon light. I turn my head behind me, I see the familiar old cracked boulder behind me, the crystals now shattered and ruined by the return trip as well as time exposed to the elements as I could see vines creep along the outer edges. Sighing I shrugged then marched onwards heading to the distant structure I can see in the distance, my eyes able to make out a ruined castle across a ravine with a broken down bridge, "like something like a broken bridge will stop me." I said as leathery white wings open up from the flaps of my armor I quickly made my way to the other side of the ravine. I walked up to the gates and with a simple push of my hooves and little of my augmented strength pushed open the iron gate. I don't know if I had been gone for a thousand years, or a few years, my parents will not recognize me anyways. I made peace with not being able to see my family again, I had after all, lived without them for so long, and had killed and fed on many a creature I was no longer an innocent filly after all. I walked into the dark castle, closing my eyes for a second, then quickly I opened them again, my blood red eyes giving off an unnatural glow filling the dark chamber with its light, I can see clearly into this darkness without it however the light makes it easier to pick out details. I was in the main chamber, I see a pedestal with some kind of statue rocks, I can feel faint magic within them, I choose to stay clear of those for now. I see thrones in the back two of them, both themed mirroring day and night. I didn't take much stock of the old tapestries, rather intact ones to say the least, hanging on the walls. A few stone pillars keeps holding the roof up, much to my relief. I had been in places much worse off, in fact this place is rather cosy and many a place to run in case of large enough trouble shows its ugly head. "This shall be my new home," I said aloud, my voice echoing off the walls of the old castle. Home, a word I had not used since I was with Jacob... my big brother best friend in all of skyrim, the one who raised me, the one who had given me a chance to live again. I couldn’t help notice I was crying tears, not at all discouraged at the sight of blood. After all, I am a vampire, we don’t really cry tears. ...We cry blood... Chapter end Author's Note Behold! I had this little gem hanging in the back of my mind and then in google docs for some time, in fact its the second story I been working on along side Charms adventures. I had left it alone for some time and now I figure. Why not? I was told it be a crime not to post creativity and I'm no criminal. I have other chapters out, but I will post them at a later date this is a teaser of sorts of whats to come, Rarity is home now, however while a good thing to be among ponies again, she isn't a Thestrals. In fact, in the near future its going to become evidence that she isn't. Enjoy... Chapter 2Chapter two ‘I’am a predator, I stalk my prey through the shadows, I’m the alpha.’ I thought as I slowly stalk my dinner from the trees. It had been a month since my return, I planted me a garden and now have many plants for alchemy, I even clean up an old forge I found in the armory in what I believe was the barracks for the guard. While the forge does not match the skyforge I still have use for it, I even carved a grindstone for sharpening my blades. I had left my Rapier behind as I don't see the need for it right now, I’m not facing any who are heavily armored. Jacob had taught me to carry a blade at all times is a necessity, I had taken a dagger instead, in case I need to use it. I had my mane and tail cut as a means to remove the obstacles so they won't get in the way of the dense tree branches and bushes. My tail is longer than a normal unicorns tail, the spine goes all the way down with a purple tuff at the end, this growth shown itself a few weeks after I was turned into a vampire, up first it had confused and scared me when I had suddenly grew extra vertebrae, however it proved to be very useful and dextrous allowing me to grab things with a iron grip. Currently hooves are padded down with leather and metal, enchanted with muffle spells to reduce noise. As I had learn, that humans and other races, had acute hearing of hooves clopping down a closed in cave or hallways in castles. My wings itch at the coming kill, the leathery appendage tipped with claw points, not very useful in combat I’d admit, however it does allow me to grip to surfaces, like the tree I’m currently hanging onto, with my tail wrapped around a branch, my teeth elongated ready to latch down onto that juicy meal. I’d admit I enjoy meat now, it’s very juicy, many years of living in Skyrim had made me into a season killer and hunter. Quickly I jumped down and pin the bunny with my larger size, and while I may be filly sized, it's still larger than the rabbit, my food. I was about ready to sink my fangs into the rabbit, nearly starving and ready to consuming the meat, the blood. But before I could I heard a scream, I looked up quickly startled out of my frenzy to see a particular sight, before me stood a equine, much like myself, however no horn, up first I thought it was a horse, startled by my sudden appearance. However this equine isn't like those, it had large eyes, much like my own, it stared at me in horror and confusion in its eyes, an intelligence that I’d admit not seeing before in horses. I explored its odd yellow coloring, and pink mane, it was a mare, as I noticed its body structure mirrors my own. Well that is, if I wasn't cursed with eternal fillyhood. Then with clarity from my near blood hazed of hunger I realize she is a pegasus, memories of a life long past forgotten about the different tribes of my youth I let go of my meal. Although with much hesitation, the rabbit scurried over as quickly as it could to the pegasus. I’d admit I almost took off after it again. But I had lingered too long, confused, hungry for blood, I took off from the little clearing, leaving behind a very concern, not to mention, confused pegasus. POV Fluttershy… I placed a hoof on top of Angel bunny, checking to see if he was hurt, only to sigh in relief and joy at him being ok, the strange filly had taken off, moving faster than anypony should be capable of. ‘Who was that’ was my thoughts as I made my way back to the cottage, she looked like she was about to devour Angel bunny.’ ‘But that's not possible, she is a unicorn… ‘ ‘Right?’ Wait… “Oh no!” I yelled out, softly concern. I whip my head to the direction of the forest, the Everfree forest, where a filly had ran off into, I couldn't allow such a young filly get hurt! “Stay here angel, I'll be back I have to go help that filly.” Ignoring his protests I made my way to the forest. POV Rarity I can't believe it! another one like me, well sorta, but still me! I hadn't thought about looking for any civilization, as living among the ponies was the last thing I wanted right now. After all I partake in the regular consumption of meat and blood, no herbivore would want to be close to me. My eyes widened, only now do I realize that I might not have made a good first impression. ‘stupid,’ I muttered. Steeling myself a bit I made my way deeper into the forest, I may have the guard beating down the forest in an effort to find the blood sucker soon, as many vampire hunts I had experienced before hand had taught me anything. A roar in the distance echoes, good, at least I know that there's something here that I can feed on. I can take my mind off the future for now, right now I starve for something to eat. Making my way further forward, I came across a clearing, one recently passed through if the animal trails left are any proof, Taking a closer look I found irregularities in the prints. Whatever this was, it wasn't normal by any means. ‘Snap!’ A noise caught my attention from my tracking causing me to freeze in place as my ears perk up at the sound. My eyes widen and narrow to take in my surroundings. Slowly looking forward and around me I had found myself surrounded by… wolves? it was hard to tell from all the creaking really. This almost made me pause, I had fought many a beast from trolls to goblins, I had tasted the blood of many creatures, some revolting, some rather good. But I don't think wooden wolves would be all that tasty. Closest thing I could have ever gone to this was accidentally chomping on a barstool during a brawl in whiterun, eugh trust me that damn chair tasted like ass, took a week of chicken blood to rinse out the aftertaste. I’d admit something I stray off the main topic, shaking my head I bring my mind back into the situation. I bared my fangs, hoping to scare them away, I honestly wasn’t in the mood for dealing with living decorative furniture at the moment, and these little spriggan things weren't on my list of things to bite. One of them lunged, only to be met with a tree to the face as I had jumped avoiding its attack as it crashes head first, it falls over unconscious. ‘Heh serves the damn thing right,’ years of being the predator does NOT mean that I'm just ready to keel over and let them bark me into submission, The next one came from above, no doubt hoping to catch me by surprise while I dealt with little bar stool over here, “You’re going to look VERY GOOD on my mantle.” I nearly growled 'note to self get a mantle, I had batted the Spriggan away with my wings with a wide sweep, the wooden wolf being thrown away smashes into a tree, it reformed later, I wasn't having any of it. So with a deep inhale I exhaled quickly, as my horn shines with a bright light as I summoned fire in a spraying arch out of my mouth with a breath. That was the thing about learning the magic in Nirn. For me I had learned that being a unicorn I have to learn Nirn magic differently, one such method is that I have to perform gestures while summoning magic to my horn, giving me the appearance of a fire breathing vampire pony, I have to admit it’s rather cool. The other wolf-things stared at me for the most part after I had ashen one of their friends, perhaps they were unsure as to how they should go about this. To really sell my point as the dominant predator I activate my vampiric nature, or at least amp up the intensity. My eyes narrow, I snarled and hissed, my eyes glowed their unnatural color. Giving off the aura that pretty much narrows down to. “I’m going to kill you!” Many start to back up, scared doing so allowed me to think up of a few more fire spells that could really get the job done here. For a very tense moment we stare down at each other, I prepared to launch into a sprint to get behind them and unleash some fire on them, and they prepared to pounce me if I try to run for it. Which honestly isn't going to happen, ever. Then one of Spriggan wolves whines to the others. It was as if it was a switch the atmosphere was gone, and the wolves backed down they look at each other, unsure on what to do, so after I walked around them, causing them to move to the other direction, with a few growls they grab hold of their unconscious companion and made their way out of the clearing. While disappointed I’m glad they left however. But I came to the realization that I actually might have NEEDED to start a campfire tonight. Shrugging I nodded to myself and turned around to go about my previous path, hoping on a decent meal, and a good fight to loosen up. Only to be met by a rather disturbing volume of hot air to the face. “Well what have we here?” I heard a voice say I looked up, and up, then took a step back. Up at the rather tall creature, again I cursed my height. Well, at least I knew where the bad breath came from, damn things got to learn what hygiene is at some point, mind you I drink blood but well, you kno-ah never-mind. Before me stood this... thing, honestly there was no other way to describe it, it was some sort of tiger-goat-snake hybrid, this seems like something that Sheogorath fellow would have as a pet. I bare my fangs again, the snakehead and the tiger head on the damn thing do the same, I grinned, yes finally, something worth FEEDING ON. “I don't know about you.” The goat head on the side mutters. “But last time I checked WE were supposed to be the ones who looked like we were going to eat whoever was in front of u-OHMY!” The think yelped out. I had leapt, heh I guess I could at least talk with my food before eating it first eh? At this point I was absolutely DYING to sink my teeth into something. “Easy!, Easy!” The thing yells as it dodges my first attempt to bite it as I had just chomp down at its chest, it seemingly to jerk back startled at my fangs. “Quiet FOOD I’m trying to EAT YOU!” My blood frenzy is kicking in, it had been a week before I had a meal, that rabbit would had tied me over for a day or two, but now that I’m pin against this massive beast my non beating heart had already boiled my blood in my veins for the upcoming fight. Don't ask how that's possible. “We’re the ones who’re supposed to say THAT!” It had yelled its voice already seemingly distant as I prepared for the fight. “SILENCE!” I yelled no longer interested to chat beyond banter and fed up at how this thing kept its distance due to my sudden attack, I needed the Blood. The fight starts now, I was dodging the occasional swipe, the thing much too slow for it to be a threat to me. All while trying to figure out which one to feed on first, quickly I backed off hoping to analyze my opponent closely. ‘where all three of them separate? Did they have separate circulatory systems?’ I wondered idly now that there is a lull in the fighting. "You know,” I said, trying to put them off guard by little ole me. “I think it's best for you to relax,” I said sweetly, fluttering my eyelashes I can see they are put off by that. “After all, dealing with stressed food often leads to the meat being tough eh?" Right as I said that my voice started echoing in an unnatural pitch, my fangs had spread to my molars, giving me a mouth full of dragon sharp teeth. They look at me all confused, like how you would look at the occasional drunk outside the bannered mare, as soon as what I said registered, fear started to creep into all but the tiger things eyes. “The Goat dies first.” I add, making sure to bare my fangs in full, I even added that little licking the fangs thing some predators do, and from the looks of it, damn goat seems a caught in the mage-light as any other poor thing that happened to piss me off looked. The Tiger with quick reflexes went in with a bite, it wrapping around my neck in a grip, and with tremendous pressure, had effortlessly sank its fangs into my windpipe and crushing my neck. I made little effort to dodge its kill blow, which, I’d admit had done quite the number on me, not that I cared, last time I got this hurt was when I ran into this necromancer outside home. A damn witch jumped me with a few skeletons it had raised. I made sure to eat slowly that night, it was after all the first time I was stabbed. Funny thing really now. I went limp allowing the thing to think it had killed me, after all I had no heartbeat , I didn’t need to breathe, although I did enjoy the luxury. “See! the little tyke’s not so-oh COME ON!” The tiger growls out honestly creeped out. Honestly I'd be creeped out myself witnessing the whole neck fixing thing I did. Bone and sinew cracked back in place as my body knitted itself back together in a gory unnatural way as said muscle reached out to each other as blood squished and mashed between the knitting tissue. “You know, for a tiger-thing you sure are BAD at recognizing when one plays with it’s food.” I quip, it's true, and while the frenzy is in place I become little more than a monster. With augmented strength I jumped landing at just the right spot on the things back. I kicked hard at the Snake tail with my rear hooves causing it to recoil away then smash down onto a rock knocking that head unconscious. True to my word the Goat head died first, I had lunged forward my teeth breaking the spine the thing gave a rather pathetic whine as the head slump dead, taking the opportunity I made sure to drink to my heart's content replenish my low blood supply from my regeneration. The tiger on the other hand went absolutely crazy damn thing looked like a mad cat on skooma, no reasoning with it I guess. Not like I was going to anyways. It had threw me off it’s back, while in the air I spun around and with my reflexes and speed I unsheathe my dagger and throw it at the recovering Snake head, slicing the rather thin spine clean off decapitating the head as it fallen to the ground while the tail portion that connect to the main body twitches madly. I love it when the food fights back, makes the hunt seem a bit more worthwhile really. Even if it is futile and pathetic to watch sometimes. Landing on the ground on my hind legs balancing rather well with no effort. I smirked as I rushed the madly bucking and roaring creature going in for the kill. POV Fluttershy “SILENCE!” A little filly's voice roared throughout the clearing, I took care to hide from the pack of Timberwolves that had ran by, seeming to be in retreat. But upon hearing that voice I had perked up quickly thinking the filly to be in danger, so I got out of my hiding spot, and made a dash to the clearing I heard the voice from. To come upon a gory sight, the shock preventing me from screaming. The Chimera the tiger head had its fangs around the fillies neck, dropping it to the ground and taking a step back, I had my full focus on the filly, laying on the ground… dead, for I do not see the rise and fall of her breathing, I can feel tears, they build up in my eyes as I looked at the unmoving body... I’m to late. Her blood pools around her body… I-I’m too late. I couldn't help but let them fall. N-no... I collapsed w-why? why couldn't I be faster? li-like Rainbow dash. With mocking laughter the tiger head with mouth still dripping blood turns to its body companions, “See! the little tyke’s not so-oh COME ON!” I followed with my eyes, unbelieving as I watched this tiny filly neck which I had guessed had broken judging at the sickening crack of bones that were broken are now resetting themselves back into position, along with most of the ripped out flesh as they knitted back together. The filly stood up up from the ground only blood where the fatal wound being the only evidence of what normally would had been other ponies death. Then slowly in a sort of dramatic fashion the filly turns back to the chimera thoroughly cowed by this unnatural sight. Because I know I am. “You know, for a tiger-thing you sure are BAD at recognizing when one plays with it’s food.” The Filly had said, displaying a mouth full of fanged teeth, I had stopped breathing. I felt light headed and woozy at what follows, the filly had killed two of the heads, with the severed snake head landing near me. Before fighting the tiger one in a very short battle, however after witnessing the whole thing I can feel, no, know that the filly has been toying with it as if it's nothing but a game to her. With one final lunge she had latched onto the beast's neck, and didn't let go, her fangs effortlessly and with ease, holding onto the beast's neck no matter how it thrashed. I heard bones break possibly the fillies as she was being put to some rather intense G forces that snapped the tiny neck, only for it to reset themselves as she continued on with the kill. It wasn't long before the creature to slow as I watched the filly feed upon the now dead chimera. She left her head from her meal, and with a roar yelled in a very inequine scream at her victory, her yell echoing out from the forest, the voice a challenge to the world to bring its best, just so she has a hunt worth remembering while she feeds. I had dropped onto the ground belly laid flat and caked in dirt, my disbelieving eyes and my weak legs look upon the sight of her wings spread wide. The world started to darken around the edges of my vision, for I cannot look away from the what is before me. The image of the blood soaked filly staring at me, her blood red eyes wide and wild, blood drips from her muzzle as a long tongue is in mid action to lick off the blood, as if it were ice cream that is spilled over it, I was in shock the horror of it all burned into my mind forever. I could no longer handle it, and I had fallen, unconscious. Chapter end. Chapter 3Chapter Three I placed the comatose pegasus down on the cot staring intently ahead in deep thought. I had returned home her in tow, I’m honestly surprised by how stealthy this pegasus is. Even to the point where I had not sensed her till she had fainted at the sight of my… feeding. I couldn't really hold that against her though, but feel a little bad about that, I have been witnessed by humans in the past who were just as if not more so, terrified as this pegasus no doubt. I always feel a little bit guilty whenever I feed in front of scared people, and ponies I suppose. Sighing I spoke aloud, “ah well just couldn't be helped.” I just shrugged brushing off my guilt away, one thing skyrim had taught me was that survival was a necessity. Even Jacob with all his power, and even his title of a hero, he isn't a very nice person most of the time. He stolen, murdered and defiled the odd tomb for treasure more than once. By most standards that is considered really bad at least to everyone else to me he is my brother, my role model he was understanding towards me and my need to feed. That was really all I needed, with his approval he had given me self confidence in myself, then went to teach me to be a better hunter as well as teach me self control I hardly if ever completely lose to my blood lust. I’m not a nice person as well, I had killed plenty in my day, food is limited after all, with blood as my main dish I’m in constant need, animal blood is weak and only sustains me for a short time, most if not all the races in Nirn has a bit of magic in them that consuming it sustains me long, I had noticed the chimera has plenty of magic it shall tie me over for weeks. As such it wasn't the first time I had lost control and had drain merchants or the odd traveler on the roads. I feel bad about doing so, but I don’t place much thought on it. I stared down at the pegasus getting a good long look at the strange pony. Her coat is a bright mountain yellow flowery color, her mane is a soft pink color same as her tail, a bit long I had noted the strangeness, reaching a hoof I picked up the tail, then heard something click as the rest of the tail falls down, startled I look down to see it was just some kind of… clip on? strange. I thought, continuing with my examination. I worked on her body my hooves touching at different places to measure her. She is of slender build, as evidenced by the muscle structure, “hmm, could be because she is a pegasus.” I mumbled to myself as I continued to examine her, her hoof shoes are matted with dirt and other things showing she has an active life on the ground, as I recall that most pegasi live in clouds, however I have no idea how that's possible beyond the simple answer that it's magic. She smells of animals, with a subtle hint of flowery fragrance. Like nobles who have their alchemists make a substance called soap. Jacob gave me a bath with such a thing, it's oder was offencive to my nose and had made me gagging at the scent for hours afterwards. Even now this pony is covered in the scent making me rather ill at the idea of having a sip of her blood. A first time for everything I guess. After giving it some thought this pony is the key to learning of the outside world, with some thought I nodded at what I would have to do to learn more of the world, and its inhabitants. ---- PoV Fluttershy ---- I jolted awake the vivid image of a filly covered in blood from head to tail after just feasting on the body of a chimera burned into my memory, I took a moment to realize I was in a bed, sighing in relief as I realize it was all just a dream. “Yeah, it wasn't a dream.” I nodded at that, agreeing that it was to vivid to be my normal dreams… I slowly turned my head to the unknown voice only to see. The filly from earlier... … ... “Gah!” I yelped honestly the loudest I been in some time as I jumped and tumbled out of what the I had found myself in. My wings splayed out of fright as I fallen onto the hard stone floor. I scrambled away frightened at how the filly had hopped down, I could see her wings, they are twice her size as she followed me all the way to the other side of the room, she had made not a sound while her unnatural gait had kept her at the same distance from me the whole tim- I was stopped by the wall behind me, my nerves jumped further on the panic I was feeling so in an effort to remain as far away from her as possible I didn't stop trying to pack off besides the fact a wall blocked me. So I ended up shrinking down onto the floor I had never left eye contact from the pony the fillies gaze pierces my own seeing everything. My heart pounded in my ears like drums, I couldn't calm down, my breath came in short, I couldn't breathe! My eyes kept locked onto this creature's its gaze is so scary! I was told my stare was frightening to some that it was some kind of magic, but whatever I do wasn't even in the same league as this fillies! “Be still.” Came the command, then my body locked and I slumped onto the floor, breathing and heart rate at a normal speed, my mind confused at the sudden calmness. “There we go, much better now isn't it my dear?” I lazily lifted my eyes at the filly, no longer having any motivation but to remain where I am and listen to her. She patted my mane, as if I was a puppy, I couldn't help but be soothed by her touch. “There there, no need to be so frightened now isn't there?” she said softly as I lazily place my head back onto the stone floor. She backed off and seemed to search my eyes for a moment before whatever she had done had worn off. But its effect was immediate I no longer had the feeling of panic and I can't help but feel comforted to be at the watchful gaze of this filly. “Now then who are you?” She whispered, her voice tinged with kindness and love. “I’m Fluttershy.” There was no stutter in my voice she just nodded at my answer and held out her hoof to pick up mine. “My name is Rarity, I shall be your mistress from now on,” She had said so casually so powerfully I could only nod in agreement why wouldn't she be? She had a command about her, her beautiful eyes and her soft voice she had spoken with such kindness. With such strength and authority. She had chased away my shyness and replace it with strength why wouldn't I want her to command me? Why should I fight at all? “Of course mistress, how may I serve?” I had said without hesitation, bolstered in confidence and strength that was given to me freely. She had smiled, leaving a flutter in my heart as I felt such pride and love towards her I could not help but return it. “I’m new around here, so I do not know the lay of the land as much as I would like. I want you to return to the village you have came from and get a hold of books and any such valued items from their library if they have any. Be discreet about it my thrall none shall know of this understand?” I nodded ready to head out to accomplish my task. But was stopped. “Hold dear Fluttershy, I have equipment to help in your task, come I shall outfit you in items to enhance your already impressive stealth.” She had turned and I followed as she lead me to a area that was well lived in, the castle was looking to be in good shape as evidence of habitation was everywhere, things were cleaned and I see new carved furniture I had wondered if my master had lived here long. “No not to long just a few months now, I have made this castle my own and have plans to return it to its glory.” She smiled as we had passed a garden in what looked to be the main chamber. I see plants that were exotic I also see strange floating lights acting as little suns for the garden. Much to my surprise is the old flooring stone bricks as they lay in organized clumps around the area. “Oh my, I did not knew such lovely plant life existed, where had you gotten these my master?” I questioned she did not reprimand me for speaking out of term she seemed so kind and understanding. She seemed proud of herself as she had puffed up her chest. “Oh my yes they come from a land called skyrim and I had brought enough seeds to start a garden here in the castle.” I couldn't help but giggle this mare is so proud of this fact she seems to be preening in the attention. We kept our walk to another room not far off from where I was. “The room you had found yourself in is yours to do as you please. Here is the equipment room where I had brought with me from Skyrim.” I looked around I see hoof carved racks and shelves holding a myriad of items I’m unfamiliar with. Swords, axes, daggers held by the racks and the selves hold ores and plates to what I assume is armor. My master walked up to a table and pulls out a chest from underneath it, upon opening it I peeked to see cloth of different make hover out with a glow of her horn. I had stitched in my time, so I remain still as she went to work on measuring me and adjusting some kind of full body robe. Piece by piece she carefully worked the outfit onto my body, straps of hoof books were strapped on. It wasn’t long as a crude full body mirror was placed in front of me, it was some kind of large flat stone with reflective surface. No doubt magic was used in its creation. But I got a good look at myself, I was covered in a light blue coat that reaches out and over my now shorter tail as master had cut it to shorten it to effectively cover my body more. Under my coat is a black tunic and scarf, I noticed I could pull it over my face to hide my identity better with. I have dark gray pants for my hind legs that covers my cutie marks, the boots straps on the rear were secured tightly, I noticed if I were to try and place my weight in a certain direction I have a noticeable more better stance to remain steady. My front legs boots were a noticeably of a different build to allow flexibility for the front hooves. I had a hood in the same color as the outer coat that covers my long mane which was shortened so it is more comfortable than cumbersome with a longer mane. I had noticed everything was in a sort of noticeable faint glow about them. I stepped forward and made nary a sound. I made a noise in wonderment and got a small chuckle out of my master. “I see you noticed, I had enchanted large parts of your outfit to better hide yourself even if you were to wore brighter colors, you will make little to no noise even if your tried as the boots are enchanted to muffle your movement. However try not to drop anything as it will break the illusion. The scarf acts as a sort of filter if you suddenly were to find yourself in that sort of situation if the air is bad. The coat has a perception filter of sort to make most not notice you unless you make them notice you. Lastly the tunic if you were to be attacked, has a chain link metal underlayer to protect you from light weapons such as a knife or dagger. The material it is made of is mithril so you should be able to absorb magic blows or magical canceling effects if a mage were to think you were in the area and try to dispel the illusions on you.” I listened to the explanation it was amazing on how she knew exactly how to outfit me. Something from across the hall floated towards me and wrapped around my chest and waist, I looked it appears to be a satchel. “This item is enchanted, you can place any item inside, however it doesn't stop it from getting heavy, so you may have to make multiple trips, so I suggest looking for the more valued items rather than just stuffing them full. I bowed feeling obligated to show my affection. “Thank you master I shall not waste this gift and shall accomplish my task set before me.” She noded. “Make it so.” With that my wings sprang out from my sides and I bolted out the room down the fall and out a hole in the wall, I was on my back to ponyville to fetch the requested items, my gear hugged me tightly. I will do anything to please my mistress, so I flew at my top speed that I would admit isn't really the fastest in Equestria, I will need to fix that so that next time I could outpace Rainbow Dash. So I have time to reflect on where I should go first to retrieve the items, I know that Ponyville library Golden Oaks will be having a new resident that will be showing up for the summer sun celebration, I also have to cancel my role in the celebration for I have to be with my master for when she will need me. I will also have to get others to watch over my animal friends, maybe give them to good homes, it wasn't specific on how fast I have to finish my task, but I was told to be discreet and suddenly disappearing isn't a good way to get notice and have others search the forest and finding out about mistress. So I was to treat this like a scouting mission, so I can handle these affairs then move into the castle with mistress. I see ahead of me the town, I will be making land soon and I'll make my way to the mayors place to give my note of resignation in the participation to the celebration. Then its off to Golden oaks to snatch the required books. I smiled, a spark of mischievousness forming at the pit of my stomach this is going to be a simple task I can accomplish, it shall be a cinch. That much I know. It was quiet in Ponyville, everypony was to busy doing their own preparations for the celebration that be happening soon, to notice the only pony in full gear that completely covers and hidden their identity. Confidant in herself the she did not even try to mask themselves as her smirk was visible for everypony to see. Everypony seems to avoid her completely without realizing of her presence. She carries in a yellow wing a scroll with a red ribbon to keep it secured. Walking up to Ponyvilles government, she walking inside and past the secretary and into the mayors office, the mayor didn't look up as she had entered and walked right up to her and placing the letter onto the desk then walked out. She has a job to do and cannot waste time on it right now. 'Show time.' She thought, 'master is going to love it when I return with what she wished.' Chapter end
Chapter 1Chapter One Hello, my name is Rarity, I’m a White coated unicorn with a indigo mane and tail.
