Vampire pony in Equestria

‘I’am a predator, I stalk my prey through the shadows, I’m the alpha.’ I thought as I slowly stalk my dinner from the trees. It had been a month since my return, I planted me a garden and now have many plants for alchemy, I even clean up an old forge I found in the armory in what I believe was the barracks for the guard. While the forge does not match the skyforge I still have use for it, I even carved a grindstone for sharpening my blades.
I had left my Rapier behind as I don't see the need for it right now, I’m not facing any who are heavily armored.
Jacob had taught me to carry a blade at all times is a necessity, I had taken a dagger instead, in case I need to use it.
I had my mane and tail cut as a means to remove the obstacles so they won't get in the way of the dense tree branches and bushes.
My tail is longer than a normal unicorns tail, the spine goes all the way down with a purple tuff at the end, this growth shown itself a few weeks after I was turned into a vampire, up first it had confused and scared me when I had suddenly grew extra vertebrae, however it proved to be very useful and dextrous allowing me to grab things with a iron grip.
Currently hooves are padded down with leather and metal, enchanted with muffle spells to reduce noise. As I had learn, that humans and other races, had acute hearing of hooves clopping down a closed in cave or hallways in castles.
My wings itch at the coming kill, the leathery appendage tipped with claw points, not very useful in combat I’d admit, however it does allow me to grip to surfaces, like the tree I’m currently hanging onto, with my tail wrapped around a branch, my teeth elongated ready to latch down onto that juicy meal. I’d admit I enjoy meat now, it’s very juicy, many years of living in Skyrim had made me into a season killer and hunter.
Quickly I jumped down and pin the bunny with my larger size, and while I may be filly sized, it's still larger than the rabbit, my food. I was about ready to sink my fangs into the rabbit, nearly starving and ready to consuming the meat, the blood.
But before I could I heard a scream, I looked up quickly startled out of my frenzy to see a particular sight, before me stood a equine, much like myself, however no horn, up first I thought it was a horse, startled by my sudden appearance. However this equine isn't like those, it had large eyes, much like my own, it stared at me in horror and confusion in its eyes, an intelligence that I’d admit not seeing before in horses.
I explored its odd yellow coloring, and pink mane, it was a mare, as I noticed its body structure mirrors my own. Well that is, if I wasn't cursed with eternal fillyhood. Then with clarity from my near blood hazed of hunger I realize she is a pegasus, memories of a life long past forgotten about the different tribes of my youth I let go of my meal. Although with much hesitation, the rabbit scurried over as quickly as it could to the pegasus. I’d admit I almost took off after it again.
But I had lingered too long, confused, hungry for blood, I took off from the little clearing, leaving behind a very concern, not to mention, confused pegasus.
POV Fluttershy…
I placed a hoof on top of Angel bunny, checking to see if he was hurt, only to sigh in relief and joy at him being ok, the strange filly had taken off, moving faster than anypony should be capable of.
‘Who was that’ was my thoughts as I made my way back to the cottage, she looked like she was about to devour Angel bunny.’
‘But that's not possible, she is a unicorn… ‘
‘Right?’
Wait… “Oh no!” I yelled out, softly concern.
I whip my head to the direction of the forest, the Everfree forest, where a filly had ran off into, I couldn't allow such a young filly get hurt! “Stay here angel, I'll be back I have to go help that filly.” Ignoring his protests I made my way to the forest.
POV Rarity
I can't believe it! another one like me, well sorta, but still me! I hadn't thought about looking for any civilization, as living among the ponies was the last thing I wanted right now.
After all I partake in the regular consumption of meat and blood, no herbivore would want to be close to me.
My eyes widened, only now do I realize that I might not have made a good first impression. ‘stupid,’ I muttered. Steeling myself a bit I made my way deeper into the forest, I may have the guard beating down the forest in an effort to find the blood sucker soon, as many vampire hunts I had experienced before hand had taught me anything.
A roar in the distance echoes, good, at least I know that there's something here that I can feed on.
I can take my mind off the future for now, right now I starve for something to eat.
Making my way further forward, I came across a clearing, one recently passed through if the animal trails left are any proof, Taking a closer look I found irregularities in the prints. Whatever this was, it wasn't normal by any means.
‘Snap!’ A noise caught my attention from my tracking causing me to freeze in place as my ears perk up at the sound. My eyes widen and narrow to take in my surroundings.
Slowly looking forward and around me I had found myself surrounded by… wolves? it was hard to tell from all the creaking really. This almost made me pause, I had fought many a beast from trolls to goblins, I had tasted the blood of many creatures, some revolting, some rather good. But I don't think wooden wolves would be all that tasty.
Closest thing I could have ever gone to this was accidentally chomping on a barstool during a brawl in whiterun, eugh trust me that damn chair tasted like ass, took a week of chicken blood to rinse out the aftertaste. I’d admit something I stray off the main topic, shaking my head I bring my mind back into the situation.
I bared my fangs, hoping to scare them away, I honestly wasn’t in the mood for dealing with living decorative furniture at the moment, and these little spriggan things weren't on my list of things to bite.
One of them lunged, only to be met with a tree to the face as I had jumped avoiding its attack as it crashes head first, it falls over unconscious. ‘Heh serves the damn thing right,’ years of being the predator does NOT mean that I'm just ready to keel over and let them bark me into submission, The next one came from above, no doubt hoping to catch me by surprise while I dealt with little bar stool over here,
“You’re going to look VERY GOOD on my mantle.” I nearly growled 'note to self get a mantle, I had batted the Spriggan away with my wings with a wide sweep, the wooden wolf being thrown away smashes into a tree, it reformed later, I wasn't having any of it.
So with a deep inhale I exhaled quickly, as my horn shines with a bright light as I summoned fire in a spraying arch out of my mouth with a breath.
That was the thing about learning the magic in Nirn. For me I had learned that being a unicorn I have to learn Nirn magic differently, one such method is that I have to perform gestures while summoning magic to my horn, giving me the appearance of a fire breathing vampire pony, I have to admit it’s rather cool.
The other wolf-things stared at me for the most part after I had ashen one of their friends, perhaps they were unsure as to how they should go about this.
To really sell my point as the dominant predator I activate my vampiric nature, or at least amp up the intensity. My eyes narrow, I snarled and hissed, my eyes glowed their unnatural color. Giving off the aura that pretty much narrows down to. “I’m going to kill you!” Many start to back up, scared doing so allowed me to think up of a few more fire spells that could really get the job done here.
For a very tense moment we stare down at each other, I prepared to launch into a sprint to get behind them and unleash some fire on them, and they prepared to pounce me if I try to run for it. Which honestly isn't going to happen, ever. Then one of Spriggan wolves whines to the others. It was as if it was a switch the atmosphere was gone, and the wolves backed down they look at each other, unsure on what to do, so after I walked around them, causing them to move to the other direction, with a few growls they grab hold of their unconscious companion and made their way out of the clearing.
While disappointed I’m glad they left however. But I came to the realization that I actually might have NEEDED to start a campfire tonight. Shrugging I nodded to myself and turned around to go about my previous path, hoping on a decent meal, and a good fight to loosen up. Only to be met by a rather disturbing volume of hot air to the face.
“Well what have we here?” I heard a voice say I looked up, and up, then took a step back. Up at the rather tall creature, again I cursed my height.
Well, at least I knew where the bad breath came from, damn things got to learn what hygiene is at some point, mind you I drink blood but well, you kno-ah never-mind.
Before me stood this... thing, honestly there was no other way to describe it, it was some sort of tiger-goat-snake hybrid, this seems like something that Sheogorath fellow would have as a pet. I bare my fangs again, the snakehead and the tiger head on the damn thing do the same,
I grinned, yes finally, something worth FEEDING ON.
“I don't know about you.” The goat head on the side mutters. “But last time I checked WE were supposed to be the ones who looked like we were going to eat whoever was in front of u-OHMY!” The think yelped out.
I had leapt, heh I guess I could at least talk with my food before eating it first eh? At this point I was absolutely DYING to sink my teeth into something.
“Easy!, Easy!” The thing yells as it dodges my first attempt to bite it as I had just chomp down at its chest, it seemingly to jerk back startled at my fangs.
“Quiet FOOD I’m trying to EAT YOU!” My blood frenzy is kicking in, it had been a week before I had a meal, that rabbit would had tied me over for a day or two, but now that I’m pin against this massive beast my non beating heart had already boiled my blood in my veins for the upcoming fight. Don't ask how that's possible.
“We’re the ones who’re supposed to say THAT!” It had yelled its voice already seemingly distant as I prepared for the fight.
“SILENCE!” I yelled no longer interested to chat beyond banter and fed up at how this thing kept its distance due to my sudden attack, I needed the Blood.
The fight starts now, I was dodging the occasional swipe, the thing much too slow for it to be a threat to me. All while trying to figure out which one to feed on first, quickly I backed off hoping to analyze my opponent closely. ‘where all three of them separate? Did they have separate circulatory systems?’ I wondered idly now that there is a lull in the fighting.
"You know,” I said, trying to put them off guard by little ole me. “I think it's best for you to relax,” I said sweetly, fluttering my eyelashes I can see they are put off by that. “After all, dealing with stressed food often leads to the meat being tough eh?" Right as I said that my voice started echoing in an unnatural pitch, my fangs had spread to my molars, giving me a mouth full of dragon sharp teeth. They look at me all confused, like how you would look at the occasional drunk outside the bannered mare, as soon as what I said registered, fear started to creep into all but the tiger things eyes.
“The Goat dies first.” I add, making sure to bare my fangs in full, I even added that little licking the fangs thing some predators do, and from the looks of it, damn goat seems a caught in the mage-light as any other poor thing that happened to piss me off looked.
The Tiger with quick reflexes went in with a bite, it wrapping around my neck in a grip, and with tremendous pressure, had effortlessly sank its fangs into my windpipe and crushing my neck. I made little effort to dodge its kill blow, which, I’d admit had done quite the number on me, not that I cared, last time I got this hurt was when I ran into this necromancer outside home. A damn witch jumped me with a few skeletons it had raised. I made sure to eat slowly that night, it was after all the first time I was stabbed. Funny thing really now.
I went limp allowing the thing to think it had killed me, after all I had no heartbeat , I didn’t need to breathe, although I did enjoy the luxury.
“See! the little tyke’s not so-oh COME ON!” The tiger growls out honestly creeped out. Honestly I'd be creeped out myself witnessing the whole neck fixing thing I did. Bone and sinew cracked back in place as my body knitted itself back together in a gory unnatural way as said muscle reached out to each other as blood squished and mashed between the knitting tissue.
“You know, for a tiger-thing you sure are BAD at recognizing when one plays with it’s food.” I quip, it's true, and while the frenzy is in place I become little more than a monster. With augmented strength I jumped landing at just the right spot on the things back. I kicked hard at the Snake tail with my rear hooves causing it to recoil away then smash down onto a rock knocking that head unconscious.
True to my word the Goat head died first, I had lunged forward my teeth breaking the spine the thing gave a rather pathetic whine as the head slump dead, taking the opportunity I made sure to drink to my heart's content replenish my low blood supply from my regeneration.
The tiger on the other hand went absolutely crazy damn thing looked like a mad cat on skooma, no reasoning with it I guess. Not like I was going to anyways. It had threw me off it’s back, while in the air I spun around and with my reflexes and speed I unsheathe my dagger and throw it at the recovering Snake head, slicing the rather thin spine clean off decapitating the head as it fallen to the ground while the tail portion that connect to the main body twitches madly.
I love it when the food fights back, makes the hunt seem a bit more worthwhile really. Even if it is futile and pathetic to watch sometimes.
Landing on the ground on my hind legs balancing rather well with no effort. I smirked as I rushed the madly bucking and roaring creature going in for the kill.
POV Fluttershy
“SILENCE!” A little filly's voice roared throughout the clearing, I took care to hide from the pack of Timberwolves that had ran by, seeming to be in retreat. But upon hearing that voice I had perked up quickly thinking the filly to be in danger, so I got out of my hiding spot, and made a dash to the clearing I heard the voice from.
To come upon a gory sight, the shock preventing me from screaming.
The Chimera the tiger head had its fangs around the fillies neck, dropping it to the ground and taking a step back, I had my full focus on the filly, laying on the ground… dead, for I do not see the rise and fall of her breathing, I can feel tears, they build up in my eyes as I looked at the unmoving body... I’m to late.
Her blood pools around her body… I-I’m too late. I couldn't help but let them fall.
N-no...
I collapsed w-why? why couldn't I be faster? li-like Rainbow dash.
With mocking laughter the tiger head with mouth still dripping blood turns to its body companions, “See! the little tyke’s not so-oh COME ON!”
I followed with my eyes, unbelieving as I watched this tiny filly neck which I had guessed had broken judging at the sickening crack of bones that were broken are now resetting themselves back into position, along with most of the ripped out flesh as they knitted back together. The filly stood up up from the ground only blood where the fatal wound being the only evidence of what normally would had been other ponies death. Then slowly in a sort of dramatic fashion the filly turns back to the chimera thoroughly cowed by this unnatural sight.
Because I know I am.
“You know, for a tiger-thing you sure are BAD at recognizing when one plays with it’s food.” The Filly had said, displaying a mouth full of fanged teeth, I had stopped breathing. I felt light headed and woozy at what follows, the filly had killed two of the heads, with the severed snake head landing near me. Before fighting the tiger one in a very short battle, however after witnessing the whole thing I can feel, no, know that the filly has been toying with it as if it's nothing but a game to her.
With one final lunge she had latched onto the beast's neck, and didn't let go, her fangs effortlessly and with ease, holding onto the beast's neck no matter how it thrashed. I heard bones break possibly the fillies as she was being put to some rather intense G forces that snapped the tiny neck, only for it to reset themselves as she continued on with the kill. It wasn't long before the creature to slow as I watched the filly feed upon the now dead chimera.
She left her head from her meal, and with a roar yelled in a very inequine scream at her victory, her yell echoing out from the forest, the voice a challenge to the world to bring its best, just so she has a hunt worth remembering while she feeds. I had dropped onto the ground belly laid flat and caked in dirt, my disbelieving eyes and my weak legs look upon the sight of her wings spread wide.
The world started to darken around the edges of my vision, for I cannot look away from the what is before me. The image of the blood soaked filly staring at me, her blood red eyes wide and wild, blood drips from her muzzle as a long tongue is in mid action to lick off the blood, as if it were ice cream that is spilled over it, I was in shock the horror of it all burned into my mind forever.
I could no longer handle it, and I had fallen, unconscious.
