Darkness, didn't take to long for me to realize that my eyes were closed, and i had a major headache. "I think you hit him to hard on the head." i opened my eyes to two mares.
I press my hooves against the ground as i pushed myself up. "Who are you?" i asked them.
One of them looked to the other two. "Sorry for hitting you on the head. my name is Apple bloom and this is Sweetie belle." She gestured a hoof to her as she said her name. "Wait, do you even remember who you are?"
"I think my name is zephyr, but i can't remember anything else." i said a
Another mare walked up to the three of us. Apple bloom turned over to her. "You four should come in, it's dangerous to stay out at night!" she said before walking over to a barn.
Applebloom looked back at me. "That's Applejack, we would leave but beyond those fences are zombies." I looked at the fence, It looked well made
The two mares walked over to the barn, i followed. "This, is your house?" I said sounding disgusted.
Apple bloom turned to me with an anger in her face. "It's what we got, deal with it." She walked up the stairs. "And remember, you live here."
I looked around, it had a actually rather enjoyable interior. "Looks better inside than the outside." I walked up the stairs. "Which room am i staying in?" i asked applejack.
She turned around to me. "You decide." she turned around walking into a room.
So at that point it was my choice. so i grabbed the knob of a random room. having no idea whose it was.
Applebloom turned her head to face me. "What are you doing in here?" she asked me.
"Applejack said i could choose which room to stay in." She laid down, there was only one bed, so that meant i had to sleep next to her on the bed.
My eyes opened to Applebloom, i must of rolled over since when i went to bed i was facing the other way. "Good morning." i couldn't tell who said that so i got off the bed and faced them, it was Applejack.
I walked out the door and left Applebloom to sleep. "Hi." i said noticing there were other ponies i haven't met yet or don't remember.
"Is food ready Applejack?" Applebloom was already awake by the looks of it, not very awake though.
"Eyup." said a rather large red stallion.
"What's his name?" i asked applejack.
"Big macintosh, but we just call him Big mac." Another eyup came from Big mac.
I sat down noticing that everything on the table was made of apples. "Do you only eat apples?"
"Pretty much, we do grow apples here after all." Applebloom said before taking a bite out of her apple pie.
I poked my fork at the pie, I struggled to hold the fork and suddenly the fork floated upwards with a greenish magical aura around it. "How is it doing that?"
"Applebloom how hard did you hit him on the head?" Applejack asked her, making me wonder how Applejack found out.
"I thought he was a zombie! he doesn't even know he's a unicorn now." she slumped back in her chair.
I reached up feeling a horn on my head, how hard did she hit me? "I'm a unicorn? huh." I thought with my name i would have wings. i tore off a piece of the pie levitating it with my magic and taking a bite.
Applejack slapped her face with a hoof. "I can't believe it Apple bloom, could you double check before hitting them on the head with a frying pan?"
Apple bloom supported her head with a hoof. "It was a shovel." I heard Apple bloom say under her breath, it was clear Applejack didn't hear her.
"How long ago did this zombie apocalypse start?" I asked, i probably forgot anyways.
Applejack put a hoof to her chin. "Ten years, maybe more." She said, but in a manner that made me wonder if i wasn't the only one who forgot.
I lifted another piece of pie with my magic. "It's been that long?" i took a bite. "That explains the grey hair." I remembered something, i have meet Applejack before, this was a surprise to me.
Applejack looked at me, she was surprised about something. "I thought you said you can't remember anything."
"Yes i did, but i do remember meeting you before, don't know when though." I said to Applejack.
She got up from the chair, i was wondering why until i noticed she was finished her food. "I'll be outside. " She must've wanted some fresh air, i did as well so i followed her out.
The wood creaked as i walked next to her. "I think i'm starting to recover from being hit with a shovel." She turned to me.
"Shovel?" She asked me, she looked confused probably because she thought it was a frying pan.
"Applebloom hit me with a shovel, i think i was coming back with supplies before that." Oh man i wish i remembered everything at once.
"Do you remember anything else?" She asked me then turning to the gate into the farm. "Get inside." i looked in the direction she was.
"Zombies!" i yelled before running to the barn. i went through the door quickly grabbing a crossbow with my magic bringing it to me. "I'm going to kill these mother-" A loud gunshot covered up what i said, i couldn't even hear what i said. i ran back outside shooting the zombies with my crossbow.
When i went out there i saw that the gunshot came from Applejack. "I thought you weren't one for swearing." She said firing another shot.
I wasn't, but i might get used to it. "You always dared me to swear you know." I said a bit more of my memory returning to bad it wasn't all at once, she smiled. "Heh, guess i am recovering a bit." I fired an arrow into a zombie's eye flying clean through its head and into another zombie.
Applejack cleared enough to run straight to the gate closing it. she turned around firing another shot. "I can see that." a loud sound came from the barn.
I turned around to the barn and saw Big mac firing a sniper rifle. "He's a good shot." i fired at a zombie without looking at it and without realizing that i did.
"Not as good a shot as you." She said firing her shotgun again.
Once we killed them all i walked back into the barn. "I must of left the gate open when i came back in." i went into the kitchen and looked into the fridge. "We're out of food?"
"Yeah you went out to get some supplies, i don't know why you didn't have any on you." She walked into the kitchen.
I grabbed a cup and filled it with water. suddenly i remembered something, mostly where the supplies went. "Pinkamena." Applejack raised a hoof, i could tell she was about to say something but Apple bloom interrupted Applejack before she even spoke.
"Zephyr, can i come with you?" An eager Apple bloom called out to me, making me forget that Applejack was about to speak.
I turned around to face her. "Sure, just don't hit me with a shovel again." I said turning around then walking out the door. Apple bloom followed along. the door closing behind me.
