In a little apartment of the Snow sisters, Crystal slept in a chaotic form. Her head on the mattress, pillows at the floor, hair all over her head, and in a position where she took all over the bed. Thank goodness she is not sharing the same bed as her sister's. Otherwise, she would make her sleep at the couch.

A loud guitar music played at her alarm clock. She grumbled in frustration and turned it down. "Ugh, Dang it. Why did I even set the alarm when it's summer?" she groaned.

She got up  from her bed and a memory struck her. "Oh, Candy promised me something." She got on her slippers, fixing her tank top and shorts. After fixing herself, she went downstairs and found Candy, her only sister, making pancakes topped with strawberry, blueberry and mint. The stack is covered in whip cream, much to her disappointment.

"'Sup big sis?" greeted Crystal. She went to her seat, forced to eat the pancakes with whipped cream. Not that she disliked whip cream, she only wanted it on her iced mocha. The taste of the creamy substance with the berries and mint was now bad though. "What's the big news. It must be bigger than the first time Leonardo DiCaprio had his first Oscar. After all, you woke me up from this mess."

"Yep, something like that," answered Candy, pouring coffee in her mug. "You clearly forgot the reason why you set the alarm clock on this day."

"What is it anyways?" She put a big slice of pancakes and stuffed it in her mouth. "I'm going to be a college girl like I promised. Please cooperate in making me more responsible than you. I don't want some dark circles under my eyes."

The sisters both laughed at the words said earlier. They stopped and Candy was the first to move.

"I forgot to tell you yesterday, the letters from the colleges you applied in were here. Since all of them are here gathered up, here's your junk." She took something from her bag and threw five letters to her.

She applied for five college schools, Philadelphia University, Manhattan College, Celestia's Canterlot Royal University, Crystal Palace Academy of Music and Arts, and Daegu Arts University. She only applied for one college in South Korea in hopes of moving there. It's been years since she went to the country.

Opening the letters, she found out that she didn't got accepted for Philadelphia and that Korean school. Her mind screaming internally in frustration. Now she can't go to Korea forever.

"So you have a decision, these three are actually one of those I prayed for," Candy said. Crystal gave a glare at her older sister.

Candy never let her go back to South Korea. She never told the reason why but everytime Crystal brought that up, she would always change the subject. The only clue she has is the cold tone of her voice when she mentions anything about going to the country.

"Yeodongsaeng eoseo ,i dangsin-eul wihae sincheong han gajang gwon-wiissneun haggyo ibnida." [Come on little sister, these are the most prestigious schools you have applied for.] Candy spoke in Korean. They are in fact one-fourth Korean. Their father's Korean outbursts are one of their common traits.

"Geulsse, dangsin-eun balo eonni ya." [Well, you're right older sister.] Crystal replied. "But what do you think? I have to choose three schools." She is fine from choosing between two but has three so it added to her problem. C.C.R.U. and C.P.A. are her best choices. She never really liked Manhattan from it's population."

"Hm..." Candy hummed. "How about the one in Canterlot? I heard that it has the most successful people in there. The other is a bit too far. C.C.R.U is boarding school and C.P.A isn't. You know the distances."

"So you're telling me that I should be at Canterlot's?" she asked. "We do have enough cash for the dorm and Daddy has some colleagues there."

"Mhm." her sister replied.

"Well C.C.R.U it is." She gave a smile to her older sister, who had already prepared her school stuff.

"Vinyl, get up," shouted a woman to her daughter from downstairs. Up from a bedroom, a blue-haired teenage girl grumbled and ignored her mother.

Vincenza , uscire dal vostro letto in una sola volta!” [Vincenza, get out from your bed at once!] yelled her mother, Photina in Italian.

Vinyl woke up angry at her sudden awakening of her deep slumber. She is on her one-month break from her career as an internet DJ.

Vinyl lives with her mother Photina, a famous photographer known for her accent. This accent made her intimidate everyone including her own daughter. They are living in a large house in a village where most of the famous people live.

She went downstairs finding her mother looking at her disappointed.

"Mama, what the news? Do I even have to wake up by your voice? That voice is for your work, not for bossing." she grumbled. She finger-combed her spiky, blue hair which was a big mess. She sat on the couch, looking at her mother.

"Have you forgot?" She gave the envelope to her, with an alicorn as it's symbol.

"Hey, it's from that school in Canterlot," she said. She applied in Celestia's Canterlot Royal University for college. It's the only school she wanted to go to. People said that it is one of the most prestigious schools in America.

She opened the envelope and saw a letter. Unfolding it, her eyes widened at the words written on it. Vinyl covered her mouth trying to muffle her screams of joy.

"What's in it?" Photina asked. Vinyl looked at her, joy in her face.

"Mi sono accettato al di Celestia Canterlot Reale Univerity!" [I got accepted at Celestia's Canterlot Royal Univerity!] She hugged her mother tightly. She had been dreaming on going to college there. Her mother hugged her back. The hug was pulled of after a few seconds.

Photina is happy for her only child. She knew that she has a lot of potential and she's still discovering it. Vinyl is her only family she have now. "Congratulazioni Vincenza . Si dispone di un grande giorno di fronte a voi." [Congratulations Vincenza. You have a big day ahead of you.] She kissed Vinyl's temple and hugged her again.

"Mama, isn't that a boarding school?" she asked. Photina nodded. Vinyl talked about going to a boarding school that's why she entered for the school. The reason is that she only has fried foods for her meals, like her mother expected. She did tried to learn how to cook but it seems like cooking hates her.

"Wait for a second." She rushed back to her room, took her phone and looked for someone to call. When she saw the name MC W1SH on her contacts, she pressed the call button and waited for him to call him back.

"Hello," said in a deep yet youthful voice.

"Hey Neo," Vinyl responded.

"Hello Vince," he greeted. "You sound so happy today. What's the news babe?"

Vinyl grinned from ear to ear. "I got accepted in Canterlot!" She almost squealed, still holding the letter on her hand.

"Vince that's great news!" Neo said. "You planning on celebrating?"

"Yes, Mama is very busy and I decided to call you so you can celebrate it with me."

"Well my sched is not really full. Meet me in Starbucks, you know it's the only closest place I could go."

"Okay, love you."

"Love you more babe." He hung up and Vinyl got dressed.

Vinyl is one of the famous internet DJs in the whole world. She didn't say much about her background other than being a teenage girl under the name of DJ PON3. One of her successful songs are Vinylicious, In the Moonlight and Loving the City Lights. After her rising fame she met fellow disc jockeys. One stood out for her more. She was just looking at her blog until this man named Neo Lee complimented about her music. He proposed a collaboration in which she agreed to and that's what made them closer. When they met at the very first time in a shopping mall, that's when they started to get closer. Neo and Vinyl met very often as that day followed. Many months later, that's when they started dating. It's was very perfect, the jamming, partying (well not in clubs that's for sure), and playing.

"Mom, I'm gonna-," she stopped in a mid-sentence when she realized that her mother was already off to her work.

"-go out now," she said sadly. She brought back her grin and went out to meet her boyfriend.

Somewhere around the Echelon Hills, there lived one of the wealthiest musicians in town, the Philharmonica family. There is only the father and the daughter. The daughter, Octavia, woke up early and went downstairs only to find his father preparing breakfast for her.

"Ah , guten Morgen meine schöne Tochter." [Ah, good morning my beautiful daughter.] greeted the father in German.

"Guten Morgen Vater." [Good morning Father.] She kissed her father on both cheeks before she sat down and eat her breakfast. "How's your job today at the label.

"It was good." He sat down and ate his waffles. "We were looking for a musician as of now. The company has been going downhill for a while."

Octavia gulped down the food she was eating. "What are the qualities you are looking for? I've seen some people audition and no one accepted them."

"Well, they have to have the heart to have what it takes. Most musicians these days have been making songs that looks like, a saying from the youth, something that farted out from them."

The young cellist was intrigued that her father had used some words that are not the stuffs that they say in this house. She didn't mind though as she knew it was the only way to communicate with the young musicians in her father's company.

At her spot on the table, she noticed the alicorn sealed envelope next to her plate. "Father, since when did you got this letter?"

"Yesterday," he answered. "I was about to tell you but I figured it would be much better on a Saturday to do so."

Octavia looked at the envelope and it's seal again. She knew what the symbol meant, it was that university in Canterlot. She opened it and read the letter out loud.

"Dear Ms. Philharmonica, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Celestia's Canterlot Royal University." She smiled for joy. "I got accepted!" Octavia hugged her father tight, joy spreading her face.

Apollo Philharmonica returned the hugged and looked at her daughter again. "I know you could do it. We should go out and celebrate."

Octavia nodded, going back to her room and got herself ready for their little celebration.
