I walk over to my little sitting rock I put in a clearing two days ago to think in this forest and sit down. I get comfortable and take out my last pack of Malbro red 100's and my matches. I light it and inhale, breath out. I see my smoke drift around before being swept away by the cold night wind, taking the smoke into the sky and disappearing. while i'm watching the smoke i think back to why i'm here, i chuckle a bit and take another drag, "fucked up eh?" i say to no one but myself and the dark night sky. I've been here for almost two months and let me tell you it was a surprising way to show up.

i hear someone calling in the increasingly cramped dance floor of the club, i turn around to see who calling me and see my buddy jack, blonde scruffy looking guy who is a raging hippie, i smile and wave him over "jack! how the fuck are you? haven seen you since we got into a fight with that bouncer"
I say while hes shoving people out of the way to get to me "yeh man, those some good times, i remember how he took you an-"
I cut him off with a smack "never, speak of that again, i still have nightmares of his smile"
i say with a shudder, he only laughs and pulls me in for a hug which i accept "its good to see you man, you really need to contact me more,its more fun having you at parties"
he says as he lets me go, i only respond with "you know i don't like the internet or phones, the government is tracking all those fuckers"
he just nods his head and says "yeah man they're everywhere but its way to hard to contact you, how long has it been?"
"a year i think, you know i cant keep the date right for shit," rubbing my neck looking a little ashamed for not contacting my friend for such a long time,
he says with a aloof smile. "aw man its alright, you know im just yanking your chain, but enough about all this not seeing each other for a while, lets drink the night away,"
"you know what, that sounds nice man,"
he smiles and shoves me towards the bar where i can see my future. a very drunk and mistake full future, but it wouldn't be the first time i've done this and so i go forward into the calamity.

A few hours later and appropriate amount of liquor for a alcoholic bear me and jack were smashed laughing hard at what he did to some poor guy,
"and when he woke up, he saw all the gay hookers!" he says before busting out laughing with me, after calming down we finish our last shot and were about to call it quits when we see two women walk up to us
"having fun boys?" says one of the women, looking us up and down hungrily, she looked around 6 feet tall with long curly platinum blonde hair while her friend had black short curly hair and was black, instantly catching my attention, always was a sucker for a black women
"well it looks like it got even more fun arrived," i say with a purr before they take sit, i notice that they both seem to be wearing, outdated cloths looking like they came out of the 80's but hey, at least they make it look good
"hmmm, my names Sandy and my friends name is Laura," she says as she grabs my hand,
A women who looked way to white to be real in a dress that's way to fancy to be in here was standing by the backdoor. Looked like she was looking for someone but when she saw me her eyes hardened and she turned around and walked out. I was about to follow her when Jake started waving his hands in my face "dude were you even listening to my rad story" he says a little pissed off "sorry man, i just saw something weird, I'm gonna go check it out, stay here it shouldn't be long" i say as i start pushing and shoving my way through the crowd to get to the door, I hear him yell something but the loud ass music drowned it out. when i got outside i see that it went into a dark dirty ally. I look around and see her, at the end of the ally looking at me like i was Hitler himself "John Luvern" she says with a cold voice, as soon as she said that my blood goes cold, how does she know my full name? i plan on questioning her but what she does next shocks me so much i cant move. She proceeds to slowly get brighter until i ave to look away from the blinding light. When i look back i see a fucking 6 foot tall pony with wings and a horn. "what the fuck?" i say out loud "you, john luvern, are sick and evil man and i will see to it that you are punished" she says with a cold venomous voice "hey weird looking alien thing, i haven't done shit, unless you count the one day i left a smoke bomb in my mums room while she was sleeping, but she deserved that old witch, god bless her soul" she only looks confused for a moment then back to the stone cold look "no, that's not it" she says angrily "i am running out of time, lets end this now" she says and starts to do something with her horn that looks slightly dangerous bu before i can run she fires a bolt of light at me that is really hot from over here. I see my life flash before my eyes but before it can hit me i feel myself get pushed out of the way. I end up hitting the wall hard which discards my pistol that was in my pants, i look over to see what pushed me and my heart sinks when i see that same scruvy blonde guy, jake. I rush over and roll him over to see that his chest was covered in third degree burns and in some spots you could see his ribs. i start to tear up but i hear him breathing just a tiny bit "jake, buddy your gonna be ok, w-we can go get you some help" i say through tears and adrenaline shakes, his eyes open slowely and he looks at me and smiles sadly, he says in but a whisper "we both now im not gonna make it" he says "please dont say that man, i-i, theres gotta be a way" i say while i hold back sobs, he smiles and trys to move his hand, i grab it and squeeze hard, "man, dont do anything dumb, say i fought off a thousand men to save you, make me look good" he says with a tiny chuckle, i chuckle a bit to but start to sob when i notice his hand getting weaker "i-ill tell em you fought o-over a million lazer bears to save me" i say through my sobs, he only smiles and looks at me and says so quietly i have to lean forward to hear him "didn't know your name was john luvern" he says as his hand goes limp "j-jake?" i say looking at him, his closed eyes and peaceful smile, his ruined chest, his limp hand in mine. I look up and see her, looking at me in that same cold look, but I see a tiny tinge of sadness but i don't care, she did this and shes going to pay, i get up and fell the adrenaline start to go through me, I feel it in every vein and muscle, and it feels good. "im goING TO FUCKING KILL YOU!" i scream as i turn around and pick up my gun, i whip around to start shooting but i see her start her horn up again but instead of shooting me she fires it at a wall which creates a weird rainbow vortex "i am out of time, your world saps my energy, you are lucky i let you grieve over your dumb friend" she says with spite " i will return john and then you will die" she says before jumping into the vortex. I see the vortex start to shrink but i won't let her get away, i start to run as fast as I can, I feel my muscles working overdrive with the adrenaline, my balms of my feet hitting the concrete below to my toes launching my forward with my other foot ready to catch me. Im 4 feet away and its only 3 feet tall and wide, im not gonna make i think but at the last second I dive through and fly into the vortex right as it closes behind me.
