Chapter One: The Beginning
Hello there, my name is Tractus Regis I'm 17 years old, I have a lean body build, and 6'4 and in my group of friends I'm the tallest and oldest, my skin is as dark as a shadow, my hair being dark brown, and with my left eye is milky blue-I'm blind in that eye-and my right eye is purple. On my body there are a few scars one on my left shoulder an X-like one on my chest and one going over my left eye, got them all when I picked a fight a drunk guy trying to rape a 15 year old girl, needless to say I kicked him in the balls with my size 13 steel toed boots that I was wearing that day. I'm the kind of guy that's understanding and firm in my beliefs, but if someone hurts the ones I think of as friends or family they'll be lucky if I kick them to the next century. I'm also the leader of my group of friends.
Today I'm walking to my late night medieval weapons training that me and my friends go to and then it's back to my slave driving orphanage that I'm forced to live in until I'm 18, I'm so glad I have great friends. Today I'm wearing a black shirt with a king chess piece in a shield in the middle of the shirt, a black leather jacket, blue jeans, a brown belt, and red shoes.
While I was walking I heard four familiar voices yell in unison "HEY REGIS!" then I turned around and punch the closest one on the nose. The guy I punched was one of my four friends, Tempestatem Cursor, or Storm, he's the guy that will always take the hit even if you don't what him to. He's a fast little bugger he is but he still packs a punch and when he retreats he does the Roadrunner 'meep meep'. He's the youngest and shortest out of all of us he's fifteen and 5'4 had dark blue skin, his hair is shoulder length and the colors of red, yellow, and green. Today he's wearing a sky blue T-shirt with a white knight chess piece with bat wings on the front of the shirt, dark green jeans, and black shoes he also has blood red slitted eyes. Also if you want a aggressive tactician in any game, Storm is the guy you want to talk to.
Holding Storm up is his sixteen year old 5'10 brother, Steel Wall like his brother Steel had slitted eyes only his were electric yellow his hair hair was royal purple and his skin color was camo colors-light and dark green and black. Today he's wearing a navy camo shirt (light and dark blue and black) with a white rook piece with bat wing imprinted on it, a brown stenson that had his name written on the inside with a permanent pen, a deep forest green sweat shirt, dark blue jeans, and black steel toed boots. Steel is built like well....a wall, a Steel wall (hahaha....not funny...I'm gonna' go now) if you punch his chest your going to break your fingers.
After I got my heart down from level heart attack I said in my slight Australian accent "Ok one, never do that again two, next time you do that I'll punch you harder, and three...nice catch Steel."
"Thanks" said the voice of Steel replied "but Ah think you hit 'em to hard there Regis." Oh yeah almost forgot Steel has a thick southern accent.
"I'm A-ok!" said the the semi-deep voice of Storm "ok, next time Shadow your going to be behind Sky." he said with the biggest shit eating grin I've ever seen.
"No my friend Storm, the next one behind Regis will be Steel." said the deep voice with a Russian accent. I turned to see Ten' Khodok or Shadow he's 5'5 and sixteen years old his skin bone white, sea blue eyes, jet black hair and a face that says 'you ain't gonna do shit'. Shadow is like some sort ninja, if he doesn't want to be seen, he's just gone with the wind, even if you have infrared and night vision and even then your going to have a hard time, I call it bullshit, Steel and Storm call it haxs, and Shadow calls it magic, hey the stuff the that's been happening at school I'll believe anything, oh you what to know what's been happening at the school? Well A) the school bully, Sunset Shimmer turned into a magic, mind controlling demon, and then a girl named Twilight jumped into a glass wall that was apparently a portal B) Sirens that wanted to take over the world and C) a familiar looking girl from Crystal Prep turning into a magic crazed demon, and you know what's crazier, they where all defeated 'Magic of Friendship', yeah I know crazy right? Anyway today Shadow's wearing a black shirt with a white bishop that's ruby red at the top, black jacket, jeans, and shoes. He also a sort of advisor for our friends.
"Hey is it just me or Regis getting stronger? Because I'm starting to see stars." Storm asked.
"That or A) your skull is getting thinner or B) the stars are out." said a beautiful Irish accented female voice, true to the voice's words the stars were out and the moon was a brilliant blue. I looked to the voice and found my girlfriend, Banríon Talún or as she likes to be called Gaia. Her skin was like leafs in the fall her head was a leaf green and went to her midsection and head, but when it got to her arms and legs it fades into yellow, red, orange and brown, she had golden colored hair that went halfway down her back, and a lovely face with her right eye being orange and her left being grass green. She was sixteen and 6'1, she's kind of like me, understanding but unlike me she's more prone to letting outsiders in she also tries to find a way to get everyone what they need but we all have our limits and when she gets angry all I have to say is; get out of her way if you don't want to get hurt.
As we were walking home we herd an old raspy voice call out to use "Hello young travelers, is there any of my wears that you would like to buy?" me and my friends turn to the speaker and found quiet a big stand filled medieval-like weaponry, with the owner of said stand being a six foot tall man that was probably in his late thirties and wearing a light tan shirt under a dress vest (or you could use this time get an idea of what he looks like). I looked to my friends they all just shrugged.
"...Sure why not." I said. 'Good thing we brought our money' I thought and with that we went looking around. After a few minuets I found two swords identical in shape, size, and length both were seven feet long, one looked like it was made of the night sky constellations and everything while the other was made out of a sky blue metal, both also had brown leather sheaths. I pick up the-somehow-light seven foot long swords and asked "How much are these?"
"...100 dollars" the owner of the stand says.
"Really?" I asked and he nodded "Well I'm gonna give you 300 dollars to help with my friends purchases, 50 dollars each" I said then gave him the 300 dollars then for some reason the man gives me a big brown travel bag(imagine that only more bags and pouches)that had what felt like two weeks worth of supplies.
"You'll need it." the man said, I just shrugged and looked to my friends to see want they bought. Shadow got a scary looking collapsible scythe the thing was seven to eight feet tall with a five foot long blade now all he needs is a black cloak with the with a hood and he'd be Death's look a like, Storm had a bow, quiver, and dual short swords (that look like this). Steel had a broad sword and shield, and Gaia had dual war hammers one looked like it was made of cracked rock with magma running through it, and the other looked like it had nature itself imprinted on it.
"These weapons will only answer to you and those who you think should wield these weapons." the man said "50% off if you buy the seed of harmony only 20 dollars." he added while taking out a small black cloth bag with little strings to close the bag.
'This is starting to get fishy' I thought "...Fine, I'll buy it." I said and gave him the 20 dollars and he give me the small cloth bag. I opened the bag and found I walnut sized crystal seed thing I took the seed-thing out of the bag and six random thoughts came to me Kindness, Honesty, Generosity, Loyalty, Laughter, Magic
I must have been staring at the seed-thing longer than I thought because Gaia came up to me put a hand on my shoulder and asked "Hey, you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine we should get going though." I said.
When we where almost out of earshot the store owner said "Goodbye, young travelers have fun traveling the new world."
"What?" was all we got out before blacking out.
100,000 years in the past of Equis
"Uhh...did anyone get the number on that bus that hit me?" I asked getting a bunch of groans from my friends in response. When I got up I noticed A) either the trees in this forest are very small or somehow I grew three to four feet B) I'm in a forest C) there were four bipedal pony\horse\mutant\things staring at me wide eyed with there giant eyes, I too was staring at them wide eyed but-at the time-I didn't know I also had giant eyes. All of the ponys-thats what I'll call them now to make it easier-looked like my friends but instead of what they were wearing armor. I looked the 6'10 Steel look-a-like he even had the same stenson, purple hair(main?) just adding a black dragon horns, dragon tail, muzzle, some black scales here and there except his scaled arms with rather dangerous looking claws on said claws the was a mark of a sword and shield with a hammer imprinted on the shield, and black dragon wings that is fifteen feet long from one wing to the other the steel look-a-like also had what looked like knights armor with the helmet laying next to him. The color of the armor black with dark blue outlines with a red pauldron. He also had the same sword and shield (sword on his left hip shield on his back) "...Steel is that you?" I asked, all of there eyes widened even more, somehow.
"REGIS!?!" they all yelled\asked in unison too which, I nodded "Well...this is weird." the ponified Storm said. I looked to him and saw he was now 6'4 was wearing a light leather armor that was light green in color with a green cape that had a hood (like the main characters in the Lord of the rings havel) with his bow and quiver on his back and the short swords on each hip he also had horns like Steel only his had red at the tips, dark red scales, on his hand there was two swords that seemed to be making wind, and black dragon wings that fade to red at the ends and were fourteen feet long wingspan.
"Yes, this is very weird to be two legged pony thing with hoof at the end of leg and tail at the end of our spine." the now 6'5 Shadow said I looked to him, and basically found the pony version of Death with bone white fur (with black mane and tail), flesh, a curved red horn sticking one foot out of his head, wearing black colored light leather armor underneath the cloak with his was weapon folded up and on his back, and lastly his mark was a door, one side white, the other red.
"Yeah, it's weird, but lets not think about it right now." I said. I looked to Gaia she looked be 12'10 now she was wearing Jedi robes (Baran Do Sage) with the war hammers that she bought on her back while her hair (mane?) and tail was the same color of blond with little specks of green in it also her mane and tail were blowing in a breeze that wasn't there, wings that had a 24 foot long wingspan, with a horn that was three feet long, and a mark of a golden tree on her hand, she also had tears in her eyes "Hey Gaia are you ok?"
"No, no I'm not ok, I feel like we're never going to see our families again." Gaia said 'At least those with families I thought, but quickly pushed it away. I walked over to her and hugged her, and while doing so I found out I am now thirteen feet tall.
When we broke the hug and I caressed her cheek, and see the mark on my hand is a galaxy similar to the Milky Way "We are your family, me and the guys, and nothing can destroy that, not even in death, remember that." after I said that I kissed her I have to say kissing furry lips with furry lips is very weird but I might as well get used to it. After the kiss I asked "Hey Gaia what do I look like?".
"You have two pairs of wings the lower pair at least a wingspan of 20 feet, the top pair at least a 30 foot wingspan, you also have two horns both five feet long that intertwine with each other, you hair and tail look like they have stars and nebulae in it and for some reason it moves on its own, and your wearing what looks like Sith robes with the swords you bought at your sides."Gaia said.
"Cool, but now I think we should start looking for civilization." I said to which everyone nodded, though Steel seems to have switched his stenson for his helmet, a good choice in my opinion, now as we start to walk me and the guys started to sing a little a song we all knew well.
"Come over hills my bonnie Irish lass, come over the hills to you dar~ling, you chose the rode love, and I'll make the vow, and I'll be your true love fore~~ver

After we were done singing we all shed a tear, you see we used to be a group of seven and Steel and Shadow had girlfriends, key word, had. We were walking in silence when I heard the sound of metal clashing with metal "Hey guys do you hear that?" I asked.
Everyone answered "Yes." As we got closer the sound suddenly stopped, along with me and my friends.
"SOMEPONY HELP ME!!" a little girl's(filly's) voice screamed not to far away. Now there's something you need to know about me and my friends we're like a Big Daddy from Bioshock, if you hurt a kid in any way you better hope somebody stops us from tearing you to shreds. So when we heard the scream Steel and I had such stone-like faces that the most jagged of rocks seem like the softest of pillows while the others had such rage filled psychotic grins that it would make this guy look like he was frowning all his life.
"I believe it's my turn to chose the song." I said we started to run in the direction of scream while I pick a song, and boy did I have some good ones.
POV Grogar (With a face that looks like this(including the bell)he's 10'7 and his voice sounds like this)
The ageless races, always make such useful minions and while useful in life, there even more useful dead because, as is dead can not disobey or have freewill, but alas most of the ageless races are undead, and in front of me is one of the last ageless races, an alicorn one of the more powerful ageless race, but sadly it is not what I was hoping for, I had imagined some sort of battle scarred leader jumping at the chance to kill me with his\her holy weapons, but sadly what I got was a child, I couldn't help but sigh in disappointment, now that I think about it there was two other alicorns although they didn't put up much of a fight. I grinned evilly at the child I started to walk towards it "Hello." I said 'I love this part' I thought.
"SOMEPONY HELP ME!!" It yelled. I was about to kill it, when something caught my attention it sounded like someone running. I looked around for the source when I found it I saw it was four ageless beings an albino Umbrum (Shadow pony) with blue eyes, two Kirin 'Well, I guess I didn't kill all of there kind' and one alicron and three of them giving me a look that would make any lower beings run for there is lives.
"Can I help thou." I asked annoyed that they were still here, while the child was crying behind me oh I do so love it when they cry
"Yes thou could...thou could leaveth without the child." Said a voice behind the the four ageless this voice just ordered ME to basically go away, he thought that could order ME, Grogar, ruler of Tambalon-(It's..so..broooorrrrrring)-,and master of necromancy, to say was I angry would be an understatement.
"THOU THINKEST THOU CAN ORDER US?!! LISTEN TO ME WELL WELP I AM GROGAR RULER OF TAMBALON, SLAYER OF MILLIONS, GERERAL OF THE UNDEAD ARMY, DESTROYER OF AGELESS BEINGS, AND MASTER OF NECROMANCY! Chose thy words wisely, for they my be the last you ever speak, and before We kill thou, may I knoweth the name of the serf that got in my way?" I warn and ask the band of ageless beings while raising ten undead minions.
"May the Lord give us strength." Then the body the belonged voice belong to stepped out of the forest.
POV Uranus
I walked out of the forest and noticed I was a good three feet taller than this 'Grogar' I looked at him up and down, and to say I was not that impressed would be putting it mildly it seems that he already done almost all the classic cliché evil villain, overdone speech, the bones on the armor, red evil eyes, the insulting of anyone who he thinks lower than himself by calling them welp, imbecile, idiot and many others, and the undead minions although, the olden English was unexpected, but not unwelcome. I looked toward the filly that we were going to save and see crying over what looked like her parents, the filly in question had pale white fur, a amaranth red mane and tail though I couldn't see her eyes because of her hair was covering them, she was wearing a sea blue dress that looked a bit dirty, and her mark was of an inkwell and feather. "I am Tractus Regis, but today I am your guide to Hell over the River Styx, I hope you brought a silver coin for your journey." I said looking back at the blue goat thing while drawing my swords from there sheaths "You know the drill mine friends." I said to my friends to which the nodded while also taking out there weapons "Let's begin." I said releasing the psychotic grin that I've been suppressing, slightly unnerving the blue goat.

I started the charge, going after the bigger ones with Gaia, while Shadow and Steel go after the lesser ones and Storm standing as our support. Anyway, I was fighting a fourteen foot tall zombie that would make Frankenstein's monster look normal, it had grey dragon like head that had decaying gray scales with a bull's and ram's horns sticking out the sides of its head, and one part of its head shows brains and bone, the body of a green furred bear that had patches of fur and skin rotting away to show bone and muscle, its left arm was what looked like a functional human skeletal arm, its right arm looked like a brown tiger's and matching the rest of its body by rotting, its left leg a of a black colored elephant, and, you guessed it, was rotting, and finally its left leg was made of what looked like ice (Left leg). I tried to cut off its right arm while Gaia was trying to crush a small, dragon thing. The monstrosity I was fighting with faster than I perceived, it dodged my attack, crouched down on all fours and leaped at me with its jaws wide open to show three rows of teeth not unlike a sharks, I had just enough time to duck under the mismatched land version of Jaws, and thrust my left sword up, missing vital parts but hitting the balance mechanism of the beast, or, in other words the snake tail that I hadn't seen before. When the thing landed it fell on its face, I took the opportunity to kill the beast and ran for it when I got close enough I started by slicing off its legs then using both my swords cut off its head.
I looked around to see how the other were doing, a mistake I would later find out, Gaia had squashed her opponent, and I looked to her battle just in time to see her crush the head of a zombie that was similar to us. Steel and Shadow have been doing work, on their side of the battlefield I see two dead undead and see Steel shield bash an undead werewolf into Shadow's awaiting scythe. I also saw a three zombies with arrows sticking out of various body parts including the heads, no doubt it was Storm's doing. I was about to confront Grogar when when I saw a decomposing fist flying toward my face I didn't have enough time to dodge so I braced for impact, man it hurt it was like Dwayne the rock Johnson had punch me, well that is if ol' Jonny boy was a twenty foot tall ugly mother fucker that that can only be described brutal looking monstrosity (This is it.), anyway, I was sent flying far off into the forest.
POV Gaia
I was running towards the monster that punched Regis into the forest, as I got closer the monster noticed me to late, and striking as fast as I could with my hammers, and threw it around a little bit before I tried to smash its head, unfortunately the monster moved out of the way before a could kill it. It started to throw punches with its four arms I used my hammers to knock the head sized fists away, while also doing damage to the fists itself when it saw that punching was useless it charge me with the speed of a star athlete, I barely dodge the charge be not without a scratch, felt pain exploded on left side causing me to scream in pain I didn't need to look at my side to know I was bleeding. The monster skidded to a stop about sixty feet away and saw may state and seemed to smirk, but that's probably just me seeing things. The beast beast ran at me on all four getting twenty feet closer then got an arrow in its left eye and a Steel on its back.
"Giddy up, monster boy!" Steel shouted then stabbed it in the head, and like everything that gets stabbed in the head, it died.
"I'm back and ready to kick ass!" exlaimed a Regis that ran out of the forest canopy.
Back to Regis's POV
I just got back to the battle I saw that it was over, I sighed in relief before looking around trying to find the one that started this. "Looking for Us?" I turned my head to the left and found Grogar holding the filly with a knife next to her neck, the filly was looking me me with fearful sea green eyes, I looked at the goat, or as shall now call him the ass,(No offense "None taken") with up most anger in the eye that still worked.
"As I thought no honour in battle, but I would like nothing less from scum such as thou." Shadow said in a venomous tone, while Gaia, Steel, and Shadow stood by me.
"Drop thine weapons, and We might let this thing live... As a slave!" Grogar said referring as a thing, before I could retort a arrow flew out of the forest, and would later find out that it was Storm, anyway the arrow flew into Grogar's back cause him to tell in pain and drop the filly, she quickly run behind a few tree to the right of Grogar.
I, like last time, started the charge, running up to Grogar and swung my swords down in an X-like pattern that forced him to use his a staff-a staff made out of an undefinable metal-to block horizontally while leaving himself open to attack which was not wasted for as soon as he was open Gaia struck, with a double hammer strike on his unguarded side which sent him flying into a tree and fell on to his hands and knees but not for long as Shadow ran at him, his weapon ready to slice his head off, though Grogar rolled to the right just before he could see his body without its head, and got up quickly and looked at us anger clear in his eyes.
"Fools! Doth thou know who you fight against?! Thou are fight any unwinnable battle if you kill m-" he stopped talking to scream out in pain when one of Storms arrows stuck in to his left shoulder. He looked back at us and charged at us with speed he should not have while somehow changing his staff into a bastard sword, he swung his sword at my left side and I was going in to try and block it but apparently it was a fake out because he quickly tried to slice my other side thankfully I have two swords and blocked the attack with little to no strain, while this was happening Shadow went behind Grogar, raised his weapon and made a diagonal slash along his back. Grogar rolled out of the way before the blade hit him. Shadow used his momentum for a spinning top like attack that Grogar blocked with the bastard sword but not without pushing him back to me. I tapped on his shoulder which got him to turn his to which made his eyes comically widen when he saw my fist careening toward his face. When my fist made intimate connections with his face, he was thrown back, I also saw a few teeth fly out of his mouth. When he got up, his face got a nice little greetings from Steels shield sending his to a waiting Shadow with his scythe at the ready. When Grogar was close enough Shadow sliced his back making him fall to the ground writhing in pain but for him it wasn't over as two Warhammers slammed on his back.
When Grogar picked himself off the ground he saw a hammer fly towards his face all said was "Shit.". Then it hit him in the face with the force of a of a small car going 50 mph making him fly into a tree making a Grogar shaped hole in the tree, while an arrow followed after him, as soon as it hit a high pitch scream was heard in a one mile radius, can you guess where it hit? And soon after that he climed out of the tree staggering "Thou will rue this day Regis and company for I will retrrrrruuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn." he said in a high pitch voice before getting a double hammer uppercut to the face sending him flying in a Team Rocket-like fashion.
When we were done I took look at Gaia's wounds and dug into my bag to find bandages which were used to tend to Gaia, when I finished bandaging Gaia's lower torso we all looked around for the filly only to find the filly crying over to the corpses of her dead parents. I looked to my girlfriend and motioned her to follow me we walked towards filly when we got close enough I kneeled down and put a hand on he shoulder she jumped slightly and turned to look at me with fearful eyes but when she saw me her eyes where flooded by sadness and more tears and latched on to my chest and cried her eyes out while Gaia and I hugged her to give her any kind of comfort, after few minutes it seemed like she was going to pass out but before she could I asked "What is thy name, small one?"
"...Faust." the now named Faust said and then she fell asleep still latched to my chest.
"So want are we going to do with her?" I asked Gaia looking into her beautiful eye while she started into mine.
"...I think we should let her decide for herself if she wants to stay with us, she can." she said looking back to Faust.
"I think we should find some kind of shelter or settlement of some sort, we don't want to become food to whatever lurks in this forest." Shadow stated. All of us gave some sort of vocalized agreement, with the filly latched onto my chest we started looking for shelter, not know that we were going on the biggest adventure that out classed all the adventure novels I've seen, which isn't really much.
