The halls of Crystal Prep Academy are filled with the sounds of students conversing with one another over various topics as you try to get to your locker with your heavy textbooks firmly secured in your grasp. Although you don't really overhear the same conversation for long, you have a pretty good idea as to what each student is discussing. Summer Break for CPA is coming up soon. Three whole months away from the stresses of homework, tests, and worst of all.... pop quizzes that can sink your grade faster than a battleship after being hit by dozens of torpedoes.
For part of the year, you've been wondering why you went along with your parents' idea to enroll in this school. The classes were hard, the students always picked on you, and you've only been able to make one friend. One person out of an entire school. But at the end of the day, that one friend is basically the reason why you didn't flunk out of school within the first few months.
The memory of the moment you met her still plays in your mind as you walk down the hall.
"Hello?" You called out as you banged on the inside of your locker. "Is anyone out there?" For a few moments after saying that, you listened for a sign of anyone who could've heard your cry for help after being trapped in your metal prison. But unfortunately, nothing could be heard. "Why do I even bother?" You thought as a tear came to your eye. "I couldn't even stop them from shoving me into my own locker. They're right. I don't belong here."
"Hello?" A voice asked from outside, making you instantly look through the small vent. "Is someone here?"
"Yes!" You instantly responded before pounding on the door. "Please! Let me out of here!"
"Goodness!" The voice replied before the sound of someone running over toward you could be heard. Soon, the latch on your locker became undone and the door swung open before you fell face down onto the marble floor. You then felt a hand gently lay itself on your back. "What happened?"
"The jerks on the track team thought it would be funny to shove me in there." You replied before looking up to see who exactly it was who let you out. Kneeling down right beside you was none other than Twilight Sparkle, Crystal Prep's top student in terms of tests and grades. "All because I couldn't really keep up with them."
Twilight sighed a little as you slowly got up to a seated position before leaning yourself against the lockers. "I'm so sorry." She said as she sat down beside you.
"Why are you apologizing?" You asked. "This wasn't your fault."
"I know." She replied. "But unfortunately, I know what it's like to be in your situation."
"You do?"
"Yes." She says. "Even though I may be the best here when it comes to grades, that still doesn't stop the others from treating me like I'm some kind of outcast. Sometimes, I feel like I don't have anyone here to talk to other than my dog, Spike."
"Well.... at least you have something to vent to." You replied. "I've got nothing. My parents are always out of town on business trips. And the times that they are home, they're always on their phones or computers."
"That must be really difficult." She said before laying a hand on your shoulder. "You're.... Anon, right?" You just nodded silently in response. "Don't you have any friends here?" This time, you shook your head. "I see." She said as you looked down toward the floor.
"Doesn't really matter anyways. I'm not gonna be around here much longer."
"Why is that?" She asked in a confused tone.
"These classes are way too hard for me." You replied before wiping another tear from your eye. "I can't understand anything that my teachers say." You then sighed before tilting your head down even further. "It's only a matter of time before they boot me out because of my grades." You hear Twilight let out a slight gasp before continuing. "I don't even know why my parents thought I could do good here. Just because they graduated from here doesn't mean I'm gonna."
This made Twilight tilt her head up to see all of the textbooks stacked on the top shelf in your locker. "You know...." She said before looking back at you. "Maybe I could help you out."
"What?"
"The classes that you're in. I've taken them before and aced them all." She replied. "I could tutor you. That is.... if you want me to." This made you look back up until you were looking directly at her.
"You'd do that? For me?"
"Of course."
"But..... why?"
"I can't just sit back and watch you get kicked out. Especially now that you've told me about your situation. Maybe you just need someone who can teach you in an environment that doesn't have the pressure of failing." She then got back onto her feet before slowly extending a hand out to you. "So what do you say?"
You slowly look at her hand before your eyes run up the length of her arm until your eyes met hers.
"At this point, what do I have to lose?" You replied before reaching your hand out and letting her hand grab onto yours before she helped pull you up to your feet. "Any help I can get is welcomed."
The memory of seeing Twilight smile after you said that to her makes a smile appear on your face. It always did. Each time you saw her smile, you couldn't help but smile along with her. The tutoring sessions that the two of you had improved your grades dramatically. And to be honest.... you enjoyed spending time with her. From the way she giggled when you made a silly joke to the times that she even made snacks for both of you to eat during her lessons.
As you continue on down the hall, you mentally kick yourself in the rear for not having the guts to ask her out on a date. But then again, you didn't even know if she would've felt the same way. "If only there was a way I could see into the future." You think while walking. "I'd be able to see if asking her out would be a good thing or not." After thinking that, your mood changes as soon as your eyes catch sight of the door leading into Twilight's old work space. The exact same room that the two of you had studied in. By now, it has been converted back into a janitor's closet. "Still can't believe its already been a couple of months since you left." You think as you stop in front of the door. "Really wish I gave you my phone number so we could still talk at least."
After saying that in your head though, you feel someone tapping you on your right shoulder.
"Hello Anon." Dean Cadance says as she stands beside you. "How are you doing?"
"I'm doing well." You reply. "Just heading to my locker to put these books away before heading out. How about you?"
"I'm great." She says. "Glad that this school year is almost over. Now I'll be able to relax before I take over as Principal next year."
"Still can't believe Principal Cinch chose to resign after the Friendship Games."
"Yeah." Cadance says as you and her begin walking down the hall. "It didn't really come as a surprise though. I mean after what happened at the Games and all."
"What happened?"
"You weren't there?" She asks in a surprised tone.
"No." You reply. "I was sick during the time when the Games happened. All I heard was that the games ended in a tie and something about crazy magical events."
"I see." She says. "Well it would be really difficult to explain it to someone who wasn't there without pictures to prove it." This makes you raise an eyebrow at her. "I'm sure if you just ask around, someone will have some pictures that can explain it."
"Okay....." You reply before stopping in front of your locker.
"Anyways." Cadance says as she places her hand on your shoulder. "I hope you have a wonderful summer vacation."
"Thank you." You say before she turns and walks away. "Uh.... Dean Cadance?" You ask, making her stop and turn to look back at you. "How is Twilight doing? I haven't seen her since I got sick and all."
"She's doing great." She replies. "I believe she has more friends over at Canterlot High than she ever did here at Crystal Prep." Cadance then walks back over to you. "She does ask about you from time to time though."
"She does?" You ask as a look of surprise appears on your face.
Cadance nods her head in response. "I think out of everyone here, she misses you the most. I'm sure you must miss her as well."
"Yeah." You say. "If it wasn't for her, I probably would've flunked out of here by now."
"I see." She replies. "She did mention something about tutoring you for your classes. At first, the sudden grade jump was a surprise to me." She then chuckled a bit. "I almost thought that you were just copying answers off of other students."
"Nah." You say as Cadance just smiles at you. "It was all thanks to Twilight and her lessons."
"Well maybe she could be a great teacher some day." She replies before looking at her watch. "Well I must be going now, Anon." She says as she starts walking away again. "Enjoy your evening."
"I will." You reply before she turns a corner and disappears from your view. After spending a few minutes putting your books away, you close the door to your locker before you start walking toward the main lobby of Crystal Prep. As you approach, you see the beams of sunlight on the floor as they shine through the glass doors of the main entrance. "Good thing I already have my swimming trunks in my car." You think as you walk into the large open room. "Today's a perfect day to go swimming at the pool." As you turn toward the main doors, you spy Lemon Zest leaning against a wall, banging her head up and down while rocking out to the song playing on her headset.
"Must be a really good song." You think before you push one of the doors open. Once outside, you start walking over to the student parking lot. As you walk, you begin loosening the clothes of your uniform to make it easier to change once you get to the pool. "Thank goodness I don't have to wear this for much longer." You say in your head as you untuck your shirt. "I can't stand wearing this." Once you arrive next to your car, you unlock the door and get in before turning the ignition.
The journey from Crystal Prep to the Canterlot Swimming Pool didn't last for long as you are pulling into the parking lot after only driving for roughly 15 minutes. Even though it isn't even 4:00 in the afternoon, the place is already packed. Not enough to where you'd consider leaving, but enough to where the task of finding a good parking space is a challenge. After circling the lot for a couple of minutes, you finally decide enough is enough before just parking in a space on the other side of the lot from the pool. At least on this side, your car would be in the shade thanks to the trees planted in the small space of grass between the road and the lot.
"Alright." You say in your head while getting out. "Time to get rid of some of the stress that good ol' CPA gave me." After that, you proceed to grab the duffle bag containing your trunks, towel, and sunscreen before setting out across the parking lot toward the pool. The sounds of people jumping in the water and the occasional cannon ball off of the diving board makes you breathe a sigh of relief as you walk up to the admissions window.
"Welcome to the Canterlot Swimming Pool." The clerk behind the counter says as you stop. "How many people are in your party?"
"Oh uh... just me." You reply.
"Alright then." She says before pressing a button on the cash register. "That'll be $5.00 for admittance."
"I'll also need a locker to store my bag in."
"Ok. That'll be an extra $2.50 then."
"That's fine." You reply before pulling out your wallet. After paying her, she gives you a warm smile.
"Thank you very much, sir." She says before handing you a key with a rubber bracelet attached to it. "Enjoy your time here."
"I will." You say before taking the key and beginning your walk to the men's locker room. "Locker #23." You say in your mind as you look at the number engraved on the key. After spending roughly seven or so minutes getting changed into your trunks, you step out of the locker room and immediately make your way over to a lounge chair. "Sit back and relax for a little while before getting into the water." You think as you take a seat on the cushioned chair.
Leaning back, you place your hands behind your head and close your eyes as you enjoy the warmth of the sun on your skin. Thankfully, the sunscreen you put on will protect you from getting a sunburn as long as you don't stay out in the sun for all of the duration of your stay. As you lay like this, the sounds of mixed conversations fill your ears until you hear someone walk up beside you.
"Anon?" A voice asks. "Is that you?"
"That voice...." You think before opening an eye. But upon seeing the person standing next to you, both of them are now wide open. "Twilight?" You ask as you see your former classmate standing not even a foot away from you wearing nothing but a tight red two piece bathing suit.
"I thought you looked familiar." Twilight says as you stand up. "I can't believe that out of all the places we could've bumped into each other, we do it at the pool."
"I know, right?" You reply as you see her smile, which makes you smile in return. "The last place I ever thought I'd see you and well.... here you are."
Twilight just giggles in response. "How are you?" She asks before she wraps her arms around you for a hug. "Its been so long since the last time I saw you."
This action makes your eyes widen as you feel her breasts press themselves against your chest. Not wanting to make this look awkward though, you wrap your arms around Twilight's body and return the hug.
"I've been good." You reply as the two of you stay wrapped in each other's arms. "Just trying to survive the last few days of school before summer vacation."
"Cadance has been keeping me up to date with whats been going on there, including you." She says as the two of you finally let go of each other. "I'm glad to hear that you're still doing well in terms of grades."
You chuckle as soon as you hear that. "Well I have you to thank for that." You reply, making her cheeks turn slightly red. "If you didn't step in and help me, I would've been booted out of CPA long ago."
"Well I'm just glad to see that you're doing good." She says. "Hey! Why don't I introduce you to my friends. I'm sure they'd like to meet you."
"Sure." You say. "I'd love to meet them."
"Great!" She says before taking you by the hand and leading you toward a group of girls sitting around a table with an umbrella providing them with shade. "Hey girls." Twilight says, gaining all of their respective attention. "I'd like for you all to meet an old friend of mine from Crystal Prep. His name is Anon."
"Uh.... hello." You say while waving at them with your free hand as all of their eyes look at you.
"Anon...." Twilight says before pointing to a girl with fire colored hair that is wearing a teal colored bikini. "This is Sunset Shimmer." You look as the girl, now known as Sunset, looks at you with her turquoise colored eyes before she stands up and walks over to the two of you.
"So you're the one that Twilight's been telling us about." Sunset says as she shakes the hand that isn't being held by Twilight. "She's been saying all sorts of good things about you."
"She has, eh?" You ask in a playful tone as you look over just as the blush on Twilight's face returns. Turning your head back, you see Sunset simply nodding in response.
"Oh yeah. I'm glad to know that she had at least one friend while she was back there." She says before letting go of your hand. "Plus I think I speak for all of us when I say that any friend of Twilight's is a friend of ours." Sunset then turned her head to look at the rest of the group sitting at the table. "Right girls?"
"You bet." One of them, a blonde haired girl wearing a stetson and a green two piece, replies in a country accent. She proceeds to get up before the rest of them follow suit as they all cluster around you and Twilight. "Allow me to introduce myself." She says before shaking your hand. "Name's Applejack. It's mighty nice to finally meet the one that Twilight's been going on and on about."
"Yeah." The girl with multi-colored hair while sporting a red bikini adds in. "I'm Rainbow Dash. But you can just call me Dashie if you want." She then looks back and forth between you and Twilight before looking in between the two of you. "I can tell Twilight really missed you."
"How so?" You ask in a confused tone.
"She hasn't let go of your hand since she brought you over here." As soon as she says that, Twilight lets go of your hand before giggling softly. You look over to see her cheeks are almost bright red at this point.
"Well it's nice to meet you, Dashie." You reply as you turn your attention back to her before a girl with puffy pink hair while wearing a light blue bikini immediately grabs your hand and starts shaking it up and down erratically.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie. It's nice to meet you. I love making new friends!" She says in such a fast paced tone that you could barely make out what she had just said.
"Pinkie Pie." A girl with purple colored hair and sapphire eyes while wearing a purple bikini says, making Pinkie stop before looking at her. "You're going to break the poor man's arm off if you keep that up much longer." She then walks over and gently shakes your hand before clearing her throat. "I am Rarity. It is a pleasure to meet you. I'm sure you must be very happy to see Twilight."
"Of course I am." You reply as she lets go. "I haven't seen her since the day before the Friendship Games."
"Oh my." She says. "That's quite a long time." She then turned her attention to Twilight. "I'm sure that the two of you have much catching up to do."
"Yes." Twilight replies. "Yes we do. Its been so long since I last saw him that I almost didn't recognize him."
"Uh... Twilight?" You ask, gaining her attention.
"Yes?"
"Who is that?" You ask as you gesture over at the only girl who is wearing a light green one piece bathing suit. She seemed to be content with just standing behind Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
"Oh!" Twilight immediately says. "How rude of me to not finish introducing everyone. Her name is Fluttershy."
"Appropriate name." You think as she timidly comes closer to you.
"Fluttershy." Twilight says. "It's alright. Anon and I have been friends for quite a while." This seems to make her feel more comfortable as she stops in front of you.
"It's umm.... nice to meet you." She says before she extends her hand out to you.
"I can say the same thing." You reply before gently shaking her hand.
"So now with introductions out of the way." Sunset says as she starts walking toward the pool. "How about we all go for a swim?"
"Sure." Twilight replies before she looks at you. "That is.... if you want to."
"Of course." You reply, making her smile once again before you both join the rest of the group in the pool.
After spending quite a few hours in the pool with Twilight and her friends, the time has come for the pool to close down for the night. As you all walk toward the locker rooms, you note that Twilight hasn't strayed far from your side until you had to go into the men's locker room.
"I can't believe that I actually bumped into her here." You think as you grab your duffle bag out of the locker. "I didn't expect to see her here at all." Your memory then flashes back to seeing Twilight in her bathing suit, causing your trunks to become a tad bit tighter than before. "Not here!" You say internally in protest of your member's actions. "Not in front of her!"
"You doing okay in there, Anon?" Twilight's voice calls from outside, making your attention shift from the stiffness in your trunks to the door.
"Yeah." You reply. "I'll be out in a bit."
"Alright then." She says before you dry yourself off as quickly as possible to avoid keeping her and her friends waiting for long. After a few minutes of drying off, dressing, and making sure that you don't have any unwanted protrusions in your shorts, you walk out of the locker room to find Twilight and the rest of your new friends standing by the exit.
"Well it was great to see you again, Twilight." You say as you walk over. "And it was really nice to meet you all. I had much more fun than I thought I was going to have when I first came here."
"I agree." Twilight replies. "But I think I may have an idea for what we could do next."
"What would that be?"
"How about you come over to my house tomorrow so we can catch up some more." She says. "I'd love to hear about what you've been doing since I left. And I'm sure that you'd want to know what I've been up to."
"Sure." You reply. "I'd like that."
"Great!" She says in an enthusiastic tone before immediately realizing how loud she just spoke. "Here." She says before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a marker. "Hold out your hand for a moment."
"Okay." You reply before doing as she asked. You then watch as Twilight writes down some numbers on your palm before you look at it.
"Give me a text later on so I can finally have your number. I can't believe I forgot to ask you for it when we were still in the same school."
"It's alright." You say before looking at the number she wrote. "I'll be sure to text you as soon as I get home."
"Sounds good." She replies before she and the rest of her friends begin to walk toward their respective vehicles. "See you tomorrow!" She calls out before waving at you.
"See you then!" You call back before she gets in her car. As you watch her drive away, you smile to yourself as you think of what the next day will be like.
The next day, you could hardly contain the excitement built up inside yourself as you look up at the clock on your bedroom wall. You then breathe in deeply before letting out a long sigh. "Alright Anon. Just relax." You think as you get ready. "You're just going to be hanging out with Twilight at her place. No big deal."
As you step outside, you begin to think about what Twilight's house would be like. This will be the first time that you've been over there. "Hopefully things go smoothly today so that I'll have a better understanding of what'll happen when I ask her out." You think before getting into your car. But when you put the key in the ignition and turn it, nothing happens. "Come on...." You say to yourself. "Start you piece of junk." But alas, your car doesn't want to go anywhere today. "Great." You say internally. "Guess I'll just have to take the bus then." You then reach into your pocket and pull out your phone. "Better let Twilight know." You think before you begin typing out a quick message.
Hey Twi. My car doesn't want to start today. So I guess I'll just have to take the bus.
It doesn't take long before you get a reply from her.
Ouch. That is never good. Hope it isn't anything that will break your bank. Just take a bus to Canterlot High and I'll meet you there.
"Well...." You think before typing a reply. "At least now I'll be able to see the school that she transferred to." Luckily, the closest bus stop is only a few blocks away from your house so it doesn't take long before you're sitting on a bench by the side of the street waiting for the bus. As you do so, you continue to think about seeing Twilight in that tight red two piece. The sight of seeing her soft looking thighs, her cute feet, and the feeling you got when she pressed herself against your body in a hug will remain with you for quite some time. Unsurprisingly though, this makes your pants grow tight in the crotch area. Luckily though, no one is around to see it. So you are able to make the bulge in your pants disappear when the bus finally arrives.
As you step on and pay the fare for riding, you see that there aren't many people on. You then quickly choose a seat toward the middle of the bus that is vacant before the vehicle starts moving again. After a long bus ride across the city, you soon get off across the street from Canterlot High. Your first gaze at the school leaves a somewhat relaxed feeling with you as it seems like a far less stressful environment than at Crystal Prep.
"Anon!" Twilight's voice calls out, making you turn toward the direction that the sound came from. Soon enough, you see Twilight standing next to her small purple car as she waves at you. You, of course, wave back to her before you start walking over.
"Hey Twilight." You say. "Sorry for having to have you come out here."
"No need to apologize." She replies as you stop in front of her. She then wraps her arms around you again in a hug before you do the same. "I'm sure it wasn't your fault that your car wouldn't start."
"I see that you've still got your Crystal Prep uniform though." You say after both of you let each other go.
"Yeah. To be honest, I've actually grown used to wearing it. I think it suits me pretty good."
"Well, it does look great on you." You say, which immediately makes her blush. "So what you got in mind for us today?"
"Oh!" She says. "Well. I was thinking that we could maybe talk about what we've been doing. Maybe watch a few movies as well."
"Sounds like fun."
"Plus. We'll have the house all to ourselves. Mom and Dad are gonna be out of town until late this evening."
"I see." You reply before both of you get inside her car. Upon doing this, Twilight starts up the engine before she begins driving back to her house. Along the way, your eyes drift back and forth between the road ahead of you and the cute girl who is driving.
"Hey! Now that we have each other's phone number, we could start hanging out more often." Twilight says as the car zooms down the road. "Maybe next time, we can hang out at your house."
"Yeah." You reply. "We could do that. I'd just need to straighten it up first." This makes her giggle a bit.
The journey from Canterlot High to Twilight's house didn't last long as soon, you both pull up to a small two story house on the corner of a block. "So this is where you live?" You ask as she puts the car in 'park'.
"Yep." She replies. "I like living here. Nice, quiet, and peaceful."
"I bet." You say before getting out. As the two of you make your way up to the front porch, you note that just like at the pool the night before, Twilight chooses to be right by your side. "So there's something that I've been wondering about for quite a while now."
"What would that be?" She asks while opening the door and stepping inside. You follow her in and watch as she takes off her shoes before leaving them by the door.
"Well...." You begin as you take your shoes off. "Actually it's more than one thing."
"Well it's a good thing we have plenty of time to talk." She says before walking over to her couch. "What's on your mind?"
"Well there's been this talk going around CPA about some crazy magical events that happened during the Friendship Games." You say as you sit down on the couch next to her. "Something about giant plant monsters, portals to a different world, and even something about you and Sunset transforming into magic wielding creatures."
After finishing, you look up to see Twilight looking away with a look of shame. "Anon." She begins. "All that stuff you heard.... is true."
"What?" You ask before Twilight pulls out her phone. You then look on as she presses a few buttons before showing you the screen.
"Pinkie Pie sent these pictures to me a few days after the Games. I'm sure they will prove what happened there for you." She says as you look through them. Sure enough, you find everything that your fellow students have been saying.
"Plant monsters, portals, and......." You stop on a picture of what appeared to be Twilight, but.... different. "Is this you?" You ask before she scoots over next to you.
"Yes." She replies. "Or that would be the magically corrupted version of me."
"Magically corrupted?"
"It's a long story." She replies before you hear the sound of something little coming toward the living room.
"Twilight!" A voice calls out. "You're back!" This strikes you as odd, especially when Twilight said no one else was here.
"Spike!" She says before soon enough, you see Twilight's dog racing over to the two of you.
"Spike?" You think as the little dog stops in front of you. "Did he just? Nah.... Come on, Anon. Dogs don't talk."
"Spike." Twilight begins to say. "You remember Anon, right?"
"Anon?" The little one asks before looking at you. "Oh! Hey Anon. What's up? Long time no see, eh?"
All you do is just sit there in silence, eyes as wide open as they could get, as your mind tries to comprehend what is sitting right in front of you. "I uh....." You stammer before you feel Twilight lay a hand on your shoulder.
"Go ahead." She says. "Get it out of your system."
"H-how long has he been able to talk?"
"Since the Games." Spike replies. "I was chasing this weird looking creature through lots of portals before I got caught in Fluttershy's magic as it was being drained by Twilight's little device. And since then, I've been able to talk."
"I... see...." You say as Spike hops up on Twilight's lap. "I'm sorry. This is just so much stuff to take in all at once."
"It's alright, Anon." Twilight replies. "Mom and Dad aren't quite used to it yet either."
This makes you breathe a sigh of relief. "That does make me feel a bit better." You say, making a small smile appear on her face. "So besides all of this magical stuff, what else is new?"
"Well other than that, things are going great." She says while petting Spike. "Pinkie Pie threw me an amazing welcoming party in the gym which I think had almost every student there."
"That was nice of her to do that."
"Yeah." She says. "But... all this time I spent at CHS, it just felt as though something was missing." This makes you raise an eyebrow toward her. "During class, I'd often find myself drifting off with memories of.... our study sessions."
"Really?"
"Yes." She replies before breathing in deeply. She then lets out a long sigh before she turns back to face you. "But before I go on, what exactly else was it you wanted to talk about?"
"Oh uh...." You say. "It's umm....." Your heartbeat starts to go faster as she looks on at you with those beautiful purple eyes. "Come on, Anon!" You say internally. "This is it! Your chance to tell her how you feel!"
"Anon?" She asks while raising an eyebrow.
"I.... uh....." You stammer as Twilight scoots herself right up beside you.
"I think I might already know what it is you want to say. But maybe this will help you find the words that you need." She says before reaching up and placing both hands on your cheeks. She then looks you right in the eyes before she closes hers, leans in, and gently gives you a soft kiss on the lips. This makes your eyes go wide open again for a bit before you find yourself becoming relaxed by this feeling. Soon, your eyes slowly close as the two of you keep your lips gently pressed together.
"I'll just... go ahead and leave you two alone for a while then." Spike says before jumping off of Twilight's lap and running off into another room. After a couple of minutes of kissing pass, Twilight slowly pulls herself away from you. The room is suddenly filled with silence as both of you stare at each other for at least a minute, cheeks as red as tomatoes.
"H-how did you know?"
This makes Twilight giggle for a bit. "It wasn't really that hard to figure out." She replies before placing her hand on top of yours. "I've seen the way that you looked at me during our lessons.
