Bat-Mane: Under the red hood
The silent, cold night in bosnia was interrupted by the roar of the batcycle, racing at top speed through the decrepit wintery waste of a city. It's driver was none other than the dark knight herself, batmane. She was usually stern and collected. her emotions never skewed her better judgement, she couldn't afford it. But this was different…
"Where are they?" king Sombra asked his servant, sipping red wine.
"In the town of Sarajevo, sir...but...she has the mare..." his servant hesitantly replied.
Sombra crushes the glasses of wine under his hoof. " I never should have allied myself with a mad mare"
Off in an abandoned warehouse, the space filled with the sounds of bone being crushed by a crowbar, and a haunting laughter. The young sunset shimmer, A.K.A robin, is now prisoner the psychotic pinkie pie, A.K.A the joker, now being beaten half to death with a crowbar
Sunset looks up at the joker as another blow from the bar breaks her cheek bones. "wow...that looked like it REALLY hurt." I sickened smile forms from pinkie's face as she starts hammering sunset with the bar a few more times, crushing a few ribs, sunset screaming out in agony.
"Whoa. now hang on...that looks like it hurt a lot more." joker grips the bar more.
"Tell me...what hurts more..A?" pinkie smacks sunsets face with the bar, "or B?" another blow hits sunset in the back of the head. "forehand?" Repeats A, "or backhand?" Repeats B as she starts laughing louder.
Sunsets murmured something faintly, barely able to get a word out.
"Eh, eh, eh? a little louder their lamb-chop, I think you have a collapsed lung, that always impedes the oratory." sunset follows this remark by spitting a wad of blood into her face, pinkie retaliating with slamming sunsets face into the cold, hard floor.
"Now that was rude! the first mare-wonder at least had some manners..." Sunset smiles at her tauntingly with a mouth full of blood. "I suppose I'll have to teach you a lesson so you can better follow in her hoof steps..." pinkie thinks for a split second. " Nah! I'm just gonna keep beating you with this crowbar!" The haunting laughter picks up again, louder and louder. The crushing sound of metal hitting bone fills the room once more as sunset tries to take every bone, eyes closed and full of tears."
On the outskirts of town, twilight bike roars through the streets, driving as fast as possible. She jumps over debris and swerves around buildings. The only thought on her mind is saving her pupil and friend, sunset. Twilight will never forgive herself for letting her robin get captured by the joker.
"will she make it in time?" Sombra asked his servant.
"I fear not, my lord. she got a very late start and...their really is no telling what the joker has done or will do to the young one."
Sombra made a face of pure sadness to his reflection in the window, realizing the consequences of his actions.
The joker opens up the door of the warehouse stepping out, "OK, kiddo, I have to go..it's been fun though, right? Hehe." She stares at the unconscious body. "Well maybe a smidge more fun for me than you. I'm just guessing since you're being awful quiet. anyway, be a good girl, finish your homework, and be in bed by 9. And hey! please tell the big mare I said” A sick grin stretches across her face. “hello. HEH HEH HAHAHA!!!!” The door slams shut and silence fills the dark warehouse.
Sunset opens her eyes once the coast was clear. She needed to get out of here, despite her injuries. At this point she couldn't rely on twilight to save her. She gave up on that kind of hope after the first hour of the crowbar beatings. She slipped the cuffs under her legs and tried to get on her hooves, immediately crashing down, " ow!" she cried, trying to crawl to the door with 2 broken legs. Once she did she opened the door, realizing it externally locked. she sat down, propping her back against the door and tried to catch her breath..then she heard the beeping. across the room she saw drums of gas all lined up to a bomb reading "0:08" She watched the bomb countdown, eyes bloodshot red, truly realizing and accepting that this will be her end.
Outside twilight road up to the warehouse, jumping off the bike and running up to the door, as it explodes and sends her flying. once twilight recovered she ran into the blazing wreck to search for her partner, eventually finding the body." sunset...n-no..." as she picked up the dead, broken, bloody body of sunset shimmer, the second robin.
Years later:
Several leaders of the gangs of Gotham meet in an old apartment building.
"The hell is this, you didn't set this meet? then whose meet is it? " one asks
"Not mine, I thought it was one of you east quarter losers. you already rolled over for the black mask and I thought you were gonna ask me in." another explains
"Rolled over?! the mask whipped out 6 of my crew in a month, 6! some of my best people." the other retorted. "besides. I'm pretty sure it was the saddle Arabians meet."
"Not mine" the saddle Arabians answered.
"To hell with this, you bags of shit wanna hang around fine but."
"SIT DOWN! It's my meet!" a mysterious figure high on a catwalk yells down.
"Who is that?"
"Batmane?! we didn't do nothin'!"
"Well we all know that's a lie..." the mysterious figure reveals herself, a pony dressed in black and gray, with a brown leather jacket, military grade utility belt, and a metal red mask with white eyes, holding an AK47.
"Who's that?"
"Don't care, smoke 'em!"
They all draw their weapons, before being able the shoot the red-figure shoots the table in front of them all, scaring them, "I said sit down!"
"You wanna die?! There are easier ways to kill yourself!" a gang leader yells
"Yea, like yelling at the pony holding the AK47. you scum bags aided the most prosperous crime lords in Gotham, but I'm giving you losers a deal. continue your rounds but kick up 40% to me...that's a much sweeter deal than the scraps the mask is leaving you. in return, you will have TOTAL protection from both black mask and batmane, but stay away from fillies in school yards..no dealing to kids! got it? if you do..you're dead."
"OK, crazy mane, this is all very generous. why the hell should we even listen to you?"
as soon as the leader asked that a duffel bag landed on the tale, one leader unzipped it. a god awful smell drafted out, one colt pukes all over the ground, another coughed and covered his mouth. one just stared at it as said, "Damn..."
"Those are the heads of all your lieutenants. that took me 6 hours. wanna see what I can get done in a whole evening? Make no mistakes, I'm not asking you to kick in with me...I'm telling you." the figure then shoots the rest of the clip, causing the leaders to fall to the ground in fear. they look up and see the red pony gone.
"Well...40% works for me." one colt tells another.
