She has just reached the bottom of her castle staircase when she saw what she can only describe as.... it. Normally Twilight would get a bit more technical and distinctive in her observations but she just couldn't find the words for the scene she was seeing right now. First there was a blazing hot fire coming from within her kitchen, several birds of different colors, shapes and sizes flying all around, a certain purple dragon running back and forth from outside with buckets of water, and in the center of it all a rainbow maned pegasus that was currently tied up in a microphone cord with a large guitar lying beside her. After seeing it all, Twilight decided it would be best to find a solution before thinking too far into it. She quickly took to her wings outside to the well where Spike had been getting water, Twilight formed a magic aura bubble around a large amount of water and carefully lifted it inside the castle and over the scorching hot stove in her kitchen. Thankfully the water seemed to do the trick, now for the birds. Twilight lit her horn and cast a powerful light spell, that emitted a bright white flash of light temporarily dazing everyone else in the room. After it wore off the birds looked in Twilight's direction to see another light ready to flash out from her horn, they then quickly took this chance to disperse from the castle. With that out of the way Twilight simply sighed without turning around to look at the pegasus behind her. "Hey uh... Twi, do you think you can help me outta' this?" asked the Pegasus, who was still bound on the floor. When she didn't respond, Rainbow Dash went to say something again before feeling the cords disappear from her body. She looked over and saw them re-appear a couple feet away from her. "Oh um.. thanks Twi. So listen let me just explai-" before Rainbow could finish, Twilight spun around to face her with a look of pure anger. While looking into her eyes Rainbow could have sworn she'd seen Tartarus itself, but before she could dwell on it Twilight decided to let herself be heard. "Rainbow, I want to know what happened here! NOW!" Twilight yelled, Rainbow jumped a bit. "Well I was trying to surprise you, it's-" but once again the increasingly frightened Pegasus was cut off. "Surprise!? Surprise!? Oh so this is your idea of a surprise!?, birds going crazy, burning down my castle! Why is it that your always screwing things up like this? Your always just screwing around and being reckless, while everyone, no you know what not everyone, pretty just me has to clean everything up!? From flying straight through my closed windows to burning down my home, it just never ends with you does it?" by this point Twilight had begun pacing into the burnt kitchen. Twilight levitated the oven door open and peered inside "Really Rainbow!? one simple cake and you managed to screw up so bad and cause all of this? What is wrong with you!? Everyone you go you make mistakes, and just make huge messes that everyone else has to deal with, your just one big screw up! We're lovers for Celesta-sake and yet I have to constantly keep an eye on you like your a Child, it hardly even feels like with a mare friend but instead i'm babysitting a reckless kid.. Oh and you wonder why you don't get into the Wonderbolts!" and just as the words left her mouth, Twilight instantly wanted them back in. Twilight heard a quiet sniffle from behind her, she whipped her head around to meet a sight that filled her with regret. Rainbow Dash was sitting on the floor, tears falling from her eyes. "Rainbow, listen I-" this time she was the one to be cut off. "I'm... i'm sorry. I just wanted to surprise you for our anniversary" Twilight looked a little confused at that "Wait, could it have been our anniversary? oh ponyfeathers" she thought "I had it all planned out and everything *sniffle* I was gonna play the song from our first dance. *sniffle* Each time I told you I had to work extra hours this week I was taking music lessons with Octavia. Then I asked Fluttershy for these birds to make it extra romantic, but then they started freaking out once the fire started. Plus the fire only started because I forgot the cake I made in the oven, i'm such an idiot Twi.." "Dash..." Twilight began, but then Spike cut in with "No don't blame her Twilight, I came in and kept asking Rainbow all about her plan and distracted her from the cake" Twilight looked over to Spike who was wearing a sad expression himself. When Twilight turned back towards Dash, the pegasus was already heading towards the door. Twilight used her magic to form a magic aura around Rainbow's tail and tugged her back a bit. "Dash wait, i'm sorry!" Twilight said. Rainbow looked back over her shoulder at Twilight who had fresh tears of her own. "I'm so sorry Rainbow, I know I was mad, but still I went over the line, especially with the Wonderbolts comment" Twilight then went up to Dash and brought her into a hug. Though Dash didn't return it at all. "You weren't wrong though" Dash said, startling Twilight. The princess pulled back to look Rainbow in the eyes. "What?" she asked. Dash carried on "I said you weren't wrong, I am a failure. Just look at how all of this turned out. I mean what kinda idiot can cause a huge fire and a crazy bird frenzy all within five minutes. Plus you were totally right about the Wonderbolts, as if I have a chance. I can already see it now, me being clumsy and knocking over all the stage lights or something. Twi, i'm a total screw up and you know it" by the end of it Rainbow just plopped down on her flank and covered her face with her hooves. Though they were moved out of the way by a purple set of hooves which was followed by a purple alicorn sporting an encouraging smile. "Dash stop it, you know none of thats true. Everything I said was because I was upset and wasn't thinking clearly. You're a fantastic pegasus who the Wonderbolts would be lucky to have. You have four amazing friends who would do anything for you and one marefriend who needs you in her life" before Rainbow could refute her mouth became occupied with another one meeting hers. Rainbow could have sworn she could literally feel her worries leave as Twilight kissed her. After a few more seconds Twilight broke the kiss and brought her hooves down to grab hold of Rainbow's, she looked straight into Rainbow's eyes. "I mean't every word Rainbow, you mean everything to me... I love you" Twilight said, and then remembered her assist in the room. "Oh and you too Spike, sorry I got so upset" she said, a little sheepishly. As she turned back to Dash she was surprised to find the kissing being the other way around this time. Rainbow put every ounce of passion she could into the kiss, and slowly pulled away. "Well you can say sorry by doing that somewhere else.." Spike muttered, but neither ponies even noticed. "I love you too Twilight" Rainbow said this as she leaned towards Twilight. They both put their foreheads against each others and stared into each others eyes, and they did that for maybe a little too long.... "Oh boy... I'm going up stairs" Spike said as he turned and headed up the staircase. The two ponies pulled away to watch Spike leave, and they also took it as a moment to get a good look at the room. "How's about we clean this place up, and then after we can uh.. head up stairs and both make it up to each other..." Rainbow said while wearing a very sly smile. "I'd like that" Twilight said mirroring that same smile. "I can still hear you!" Spike called from upstairs. Little Spoon"What's the big deal Dash, it's not as if someones watching us" Twilight said, with a hint of annoyance. "I know but it's just... I don't know.." Dash said, she nervously rubbed the back of her neck. Rainbow sat up from the bed and looked around the dimly lit room. The candle next to her on the bedside table was barely enough to light up Twilight's bedroom, though Rainbow could make out a picture on a dresser in the room. It was of her, Twilight, and all of their friends having a picnic. Rainbow got distracted looking at it until she felt Twilight sit up next to her and rest her hoof on her shoulder. "Rainbow, I think your making a bigger deal then this really is" Twilight reasoned, but Rainbow just at looked at her curiously. "It just seems weird, I mean i'm supposed to be the tough manlier one. Sorta like the super cool alpha" Dash replied. Twilight merely rolled her eyes before she responded, "All i'm saying is that you don't have to embarrassed about being the little spoon dash". Even in the dimly lit room Twilight could see a slight blush on Rainbow's cheeks. "I know it's dumb, and even kinda childish but it seems weird. Having you wrap your hooves around me? I'm supposed to be an awesome kick-flank, radical pegasus, but then at the same time have you hold me in your arms like a damsel in distress sorta thing. Plus what if someone finds out, like Spike?" Rainbow said as she looked towards the door. She just kept trying to find more and more excuses before asking something out loud, which she wish she hadn't. "But why do I like it so much then?" and pretty much as she said it, she heard Twilight let out a soft giggle. "That's not what I mean't it's like-" Dash was completely flustered but Twilight cut her off. "It's fine if you like being cuddled Dash, you don't need to be embarrassed. Honestly I think it's sort of cute that your strong and brave during the day but cute and cuddly at night" Twilight giggled, which just made Dash blush even harder. "but what if Spike or the girls find out-" Dash then felt two hooves on each side of her face turn her head to face Twilight. "It's one of the things I love about you most Rainbow. You''re strong, brave, courageous, cool, and extremely pretty even if you won't admit it" Dash smiled at that. "Plus you also have a softer more caring side to you that you only show to people you trust the most, which is why i'm so honored when you want to be the little spoon. It definitely shows me that you trust me more then anypony else and that your safe around me." Twilight finished with a quick kiss on Dash's lips to conclude her point. Twilight then grinned "Plus nobody has to know about it. It's not like i'm going to gossip about what we do in bed to the girls" which made Dash laugh. "heh heh... yeah I get your point, and yeah I think your right. I've never really let my guard down around anypony in my life the way I do with you. Without making this any worse I just feel safe around you and definitely when you uh... hold me in your arms" Dash said once against getting a little embarrassed. Though not as much as before. "Good, that's just the way I like it" Twilight said before swinging her hoof around Dash's neck and pulling them both back into bed. Dash sighed dreamily as she felt Twilight wrap her hooves and wing around her belly and lift her hindleg over onto Dash's. She felt completely safe, cuddling with her marefriend knowing that nothing bad would happen if she had her back. "I love you, Rainbow" Twilight said as she let her head rest in the crane of Rainbow's neck which the pegasus had no objection to "love you too Twilight". Everything was just right up until "you're just too cute Dashie" Twilight grinned "alright don't push it Twilight..." Dash humphed. "But you are, you have that beautiful rainbow colored hair-" Dash felt Twilights hoof stroking her hair. "your pretty pink eyes-" Rainbow could feel the blush growing. "your cute little ears-" Twilight murmured as Dash went to reply "they're not cute *aah*" but was cut off by her own gasp as she felt Twilight nibble on her ear. Rainbow would be a liar if she said that wasn't one of the best things she's felt in her life. She let out an involuntary sigh when Twilight stopped nibbling. "and how adorable you look when I do this-" Twilight said as she playful jabbed Rainbow in her ticklish spot on her side. Rainbow lunged up a bit with a involuntary giggle, only to put on a playful grumpy face right afterwards. "See even your angry face is cute" Twilight grinned as Rainbow pouted even more. Rainbow then let the frown slip away into a smile and booped Twilight on the nose causing her to wrinkle her nose in an adorable way, not that Rainbow would admit that to anyone but Twilight. "You're the cute one remember, i'm the awesome one" Rainbow insisted. "Oh yeah, how about we make a deal then" Twilight grinned. "Alright Sparkle, i'm listening" "How about you admit that your cute, and then i'll nibble your ear some more since you obviously liked it" Twilight snickered while sporting the most devious smirk. Rainbow couldn't believe what she'd just heard, how could her marefriend put her in such a messed up position. This was practically asking her to choose a path, a safe brightly lit path with a single pegasus at the end of it, without a snuggle buddy; or an evil darkness filled path that led to snuggling and ear nibbling at the end. It was Heaven vs Hell but with a twist at the end. As Rainbow considered which torture she would prefer she felt Twilights hot breath on her ear, teasing her, she was so close but not close enough. "Alright, alright! fine i'll say it" Rainbow spat out. Twilight grinned and lifted her hoof to her own ear "what's that I didn't hear you?". Rainbow grit her teeth "i'll say it". Both of them sat up from the bed. Twilight then cut in with "but you have to go all out. you need to say 'I Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle's mare friend, am cute, and an awesome snuggle buddy' and at least it has the word awesome in it". Rainbow facehoofed and slowly dragged her hand down, pulling her face slightly with it. "*sigh* I Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle's marefriend, am cute..... *sigh* and an awesome snuggle buddy" Rainbow hung her head in defeat on the last part. "There, I said it.." she moaned, but gasped when was quickly pulled back down into the blankets and Twilights warm embrace. "Good, that's all I wanted to hear" Twilight said as she started to cuddle up with Rainbow again, and she began to nibble at her ears. Rainbow, feeling totally comfortable around Twilight now, sighed out loud on purpose this time, and relaxed in Twilights hooves which started to slowly rub in circles on her belly. Rainbow was in pure bliss, meaning she must have chosen the right path after all. Oh and "holy buck she's good at this" Rainbow thought to herself. PrivacyIt was mostly quiet in the room, aside from the soft moaning coming from by the couch. Though there was a slight noise getting louder and louder. As the sound grew closer it's location was pinpointed at the front door of Twilight's castle. As it grew the sound started to become recognizable as voices. Voices that would have acted as a pretty huge warning, if not for the fact that the two ponies on the couch were two busy making out. Being too distracted with each other, neither Rainbow Dash nor Twilight Sparkle noticed the door knob turning. "So what games do you wanna play first" asked Spike. "I don't know, something that could maybe help us earn our cutie marks?" Sweetie Belle replied getting two head nods from the other crusaders. Spike then turned the nob and pushed open the castle door only to wish he hadn't. As the door flung open one dragon and three fillies stood shocked as they looked towards the center of the room. Rainbow and Twilight were too busy locking lips to notice the audience they had just gained. After roughly 30 seconds of just stunned silence, Spike decided to clear his throat to announce his presence. Twilight, who was under Dash, peered over the pegasus' shoulder in the middle of their fiery passion to see that they were putting on a show. Twilight blushed furiously and pulled her tongue away from Dash's leaving the pegasus to quickly moan from being denied access, to then yelping when she was immediately pushed onto the floor. "What the hay Twilight!" Rainbow yelled until looking at Twilight who's facing was glowing red and was pointing behind her. "What?" Dash said, while spinning around to face their new guests. Rainbow's face immediately switched into shock, the two mares just silently stared at the fillies and dragon for roughly 10 seconds before "Hi......girls" Twilight awkwardly said. Rainbow looked over her shoulder at an embarrassed an alicorn, and then back at the fillies "You kinda surprised us, me and Twilight were just playing a game of uh...." Rainbow searched her brain for an excuse before receiving a blunt answer. "a game of Tonsil Hockey?" Scootaloo finished for her, grinning. Rainbow Dash looked at Scootaloo, a bewildered expression adorning her face. "How old are you again" Rainbow asked, "we're not dumb, Rainbow" Apple Bloom answered, very matter of factly. Rainbow then got off her flank and slowly backed up to Twilight and slung her hoof over her shoulder. "So we'll just uh... talk to you girls later...." and before the fillies could utter a word, Rainbow had snatched Twilight and rocketed out the front door with rainboom like speeds. Which left the fillies standing there awkwardly, having some fierce blushes themselves at this point. "Rainbow Dash is so awesome" Scootaloo muttered, only for Sweetie Belle to smack the back of her head right afterwards. _____________________________________________________ "Are you sure this is safe, Rainbow?" Twilight asked, uncertainty sprinkled throughout her voice. "Of course i'm sure, I sleep in these trees all the time. So how much harder can making out be?" Rainbow replied. "Still, what if someone finds us. Kissing up in one of Applejack's trees isn't really the most secluded place Rainbow. What if we slip out of the tree, or Applejack comes by or-" Twilight was cut off by Rainbow Dash's lips smacking into her own. Twilight pretty much felt the worries shoot out of her body when their lips made contact. Rainbow Dash started to lick Twilight's lips begging for access to the purple ponies' tongue. Twilight gladly opened her mouth, sending her own tongue out to attack Rainbow's. Their tongues wrestled long and hard, but Twilight had pinned Rainbow's to the roof of her mouth. Twilight began moaning loudly, eliciting a moan from the pegasus. Twilight was hungrily exploring Rainbow's mouth while she began ruffling Rainbow's mane with a free hoof. Rainbow was in pure ecstasy, she loved it when Twilight was aggressive with her. "Celestia, she is just so bucking hot!" Rainbow thought her mind practically racing. Similarly to Twilight who was beginning to feel herself getting wet as she began moaning louder and louder. The two had never gone past passionately making out before, but Twilight couldn't help herself as she rolled onto Rainbow and slowly started grinding on her. "I hope she doesn't think were rushing this" Twilight thought, but the thinking part of her brain was having a hard time functioning when she had the hottest mare in Equestria under her. Twilight could feel Rainbow's strong muscles flexing, and then was slightly taken aback as she felt Dash started grinding back against her showing that she was on the same page as Twilight. Twilight picked up the pace with her rhythmic grinding, and started to dig around further in Rainbow's mouth. Rainbow Dash, not one for slowing down picked up the pace alongside Twilight bucking back furiously. Back and forth, back and forth, their flanks bouncing against one another. Twilight could not believe just how hot this one, the heat and sweat was building up immensely. Rainbow slung her hoof to the back of Twilight's head and forced her deeper into the kiss. Twilight could feel herself getting closer and closer as the two ponies' sex rubbed up against one another. Rainbow could swear she felt some splinters from the tree under her, but she didn't care she was way too busy humping the mare on top of her. Twilight was only just realizing how much she needed oxygen, but thankfully she was so close to climaxing. Rainbow and Twilight went faster and faster, getting closer to releasing the huge amount of pressure they've built up. The two could feel themselves getting weaker and their legs began to wobble, exhausted from all the humping, but it was about to be worth it. The two felt like they were in perfect sync right up until the point where they felt a lot of wetness. Though it wasn't just from below. Big splashes of water sprayed the couple and caused them to tumble off of the tree, pegasus falling on alicorn. Rainbow sat up from Twilight rubbing her head "sorry about that Twi", "it's alright Rainbow" Twilight replied also sitting up. The two looked over at whatever evil pony could ruin such an amazing make out session, and then their faces turned to fear mixed with intense blushing when they saw a very angry orange pony standing before them holding a hose. "What did y'all think you were doin' swappin yer' saliva up in ma' tree!" Applejack yelled, forcing the two offenders to take a couple steps back. "Well you see we uh... we um.... Twilight" Rainbow stuttered turning the blame over to her marefriend. Twilight glared at Rainbow and then shrunk back when she met the farmer's gaze again. "We were simply.... trying to...." Twilight then quickly lit her horn, forming a purple aura and causing her and the "hottest mare in Equestria" to teleport out of there. "Gosh Darn nit! Those two had better be thankful I didn't use somethin' worse than a hose" ____________________________________________________________ Twilight slowly pulled her muzzles from Dash's "this was the perfect spot, Rainbow. Nobody's gonna find us on Rarity's boutique". Rainbow, then began stroking Twilight's hair "Yeah I know, i'm pretty amazing" Rainbow said earning a playful shoulder punch from Twilight. Rainbow smiled at Twilight who smiled back, while staring into each other's eyes. Though Rainbow's eyes started to move slightly past Twilight's shoulder, and her face twisted into shock. "What's the matter?' Twilight asked, only to follow the mares gaze to behind her. "Oh my celestia..." Twilight muttered as a large shadow started to loom over them. Slowly a pink weather balloon started to find it's way drifting right beside the boutiques roof, with a Poofy maned pony steering it. "Pinkie! How long have you been up there?" Rainbow yelled, practically steaming. "Uhhhh... about five minutes worth of kissing" Pinkie Pie stated. Twilight who was fuming as well, used her magic to levitate Pinkie out of the balloon and walked over to it. She then proceeded to stab the balloon with her horn causing it to deflate which simultaneously caused Pinkie's hair to deflate. "aaawwww" Pinkie moaned only for Twilight to turn around and glare at her before casting another spell making her and Rainbow disappear again. The two re-appeared back in Twilight's castle in the bedroom. The two ponies dragged themselves to bed and faced each other, their muzzles being very close together, just about to kiss, before their heads dropped onto the pillows and they felt asleep, but not without at least holding hooves. Are You Bored With Me?"Are you sure you don't want to stay here and read, maybe play a board game?" Twilight asked, a hint of desperation in her voice. Though it went unnoticed by the rainbow maned pegasus "Nah, sorry Twi. I was gonna go pranking with Pinkie Pie" she said. Then Rainbow proceeded to slam the door behind her on the way out. Twilight just sighed and looked at the book she had in her hoof. She walked over to a nearby book shelf in the library section and slid it back to where she had got it, and decided to head up the crystal stairs to her bedroom. __________________________________________________________________________________ Twilight's eyes slowly began to open while struggling against the light coming through the window. As her eyes adjusted to the light, she noticed her beautiful marefriend, Rainbow Dash, was already out of bed and was grabbing things in her closet. "Rainbow? you're up early. Are you going somewhere?" she asked, noticing the hoofball she had. "Huh? Oh... morning Twilight. Uh yeah me, Applejack, Thunderlane, Cloudchaser, Big Mac, and Rumble are all going to go play hoofball in the park." she said, the nervous look on her face evident. "Sorry I didn't tell you about it already. It's just that I figured you wouldn't want to go since your not really into sports" Rainbow said while awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck. Twilight managed to lean up in the bed, "oh.. well thats fine. Yeah i'm not one for sports, i'll probably just reorganize the library a bit. Move some shelves, bean bag chairs and the couch" she said. "Are you sure? If you wanna wait I can help move some stuff when I get back" Rainbow said, only for Twilight to wave her hoof. "No it's alright Rainbow, you go have fun" she said while wearing a pretty awesome smile (or at least thats what Rainbow thought) Rainbow Dash grinned and headed out the door, waving "Alright, see ya' later Twilight" Twilight waved back at her until the door shut. Then her hoof slowly lowered as she spoke "yeah... se ya later..." she mumbled. _______________________________________________________________ Twilight was working away in the kitchen, she was never much for cookie but she could put together a sandwich if she had to. Plus she had decided to make an extra one for Rainbow Dash. Just as she lowered the final bread piece on top of Rainbow's with her magic, she heard the front door to the castle fly open and echo a bit. 'This castle is way too big" she thought. Just as Rainbow came dashing into the kitchen, Twilight began "Oh hey Rainbow listen-" though she was cut off when Dash quickly kissed her on the lips only to separate them way too quick. With the quick peck Rainbow said "sorry Twi, I gotta get over to Fluttershy's. She needs some help with some heavy stuff for her garden. Bye!" and just as quick as she appeared she was gone, having dashed back out. Twilight stood stunned for a moment before her mind caught up with her. She simply sighed, and hung her head low. She levitated a ziplock bag over and put the sandwich inside for later, before placing it in the fridge. __________________________________________________________________ "Rainbow are you sure? You really don't want to have just a quick race with me? You always want to race!" Twilight practically begged, but Rainbow resisted. "Nah, I gotta get over to Sweet Apple Acres, Me and Applejack are camping out tonight with the Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle. Raritys not coming cause, well you know how she is about camping" said Rainbow. She then trotted out the front door, not even noticing Twilight who had literally reached her foreleg out to her. "but.... but.." ________________________________________________________________ The rain was pouring down on this night, harsher then normal. Rainbow Dash trotted up the steps and pushed open the doors to the castle. She walked in on the doormat but stopped there not wanting her soaking wet fur to get the floor all wet. "Twilight? Twilight! You around, can you bring a towel?" Rainbow's voice echoed off the walls. "Twilight? as you can tell it's pouring out so camping was cancelled" Rainbow simply shook herself to try and get most of the water off to proceed into the castle. She then started poking her head into different doors "Twilight?" "Twiiillliiggghhtt??" "You in here?" "here?" "hello?" Finally Rainbow had climbed the staircase to the "royal bedroom" or so Rainbow liked to call it against Twilight's dismay. She creaked the door open, "um, Twilight?" she peaked in and saw a familiar silhouette sitting on bed opposite the window. Rainbow started to slowly enter "Twilight? everything alright?" she asked. She recognized the sniffling noise, and as she neared she began to make out the Alicorn's features. Her mane looked a bit disheveled and fresh tears were streaming down her face. Rainbow immediately hugged Twilight "Twi? what's wrong, what's going on?" she asked quickly. She was really worried, she looked around the room for any danger and pulled back from the hug. "Did something happen, are you hurt or-?" her mind was racing but Twilight cut her off with a hoof. "No, no i'm not hurt. I'm safe.." she mumbled. "Well... what's wrong then" Rainbow was just about mirroring Twilight's sad expression, minus all the tears. "Rainbow. Am I boring?" she asked, simply. "What?" "Am I boring" she repeated Rainbow's hooves grasped Twilight's "No you're not boring, what'd make you say that?" the pegasus asked. "It's just that you always seem to want to hang out with the other girls, instead of me. Not that you can't but it just feels as though you're bored with me. Reading, star gazing, board games, i'm just boring. Why would you want to be around me when you can go have so much more fun with the others" Twilight's head lowered and she sniffled some more, holding back new tears. Rainbow lifted Twilight's head to meet her eyes, Rainbow's eyes were wet and she was ready to tear up. "Don't ever say that Twilight, if I believed any of that how in the hay would we be marefriends. Not everything we do is gonna be awesome or exciting, but that's not why i'm with you. Sometimes I don't want to race, i'd rather relax and cuddle with you. I don't want to go around pranking people, instead i'd rather listen to Daring Doo while my awesome marefriend reads it to me. I want to take a walk with you instead of flying fast, because you're worth slowing down for" Twilight's mouth hung open slightly, after all Dash had said. Then she recollected her thoughts and took control of the situation. She quickly pushed forward, connecting her lips with Rainbow's and pulling her down onto the bed with her. Rainbow happily kissed back until air was hard to find. As she pulled away she smiled down at Twilight who smiled back up at her. "Plus, i'd be kinda weird trying to cuddle with Applejack" she laughed, and Twilight giggled. Suddenly Twilight's magic aura formed around Rainbow and lifted up over Twilight onto the other end of the bed. She placed her down and lifted the blanket over top of her. Twilight stood up "alright, you stay right here and i'll go grab the new Daring Doo book, it just arrived this morning. That sound okay?" she asked with a smile. Rainbow gave a toothy grin back "sounds perfect" she said, causing Twilight's smile to grow even larger. Standing Up - Part 1"To friends" said a raspy voice. "To friends!" shouted 5 other voices ranging from a southern drawl to a meek mumble. Each of the ponies clinked their glasses together. "I'm happy we were all able to get together tonight, ever since me and Rainbow started dating we haven't really all gotten together" said Twilight, as she glanced around the table to each of her friends and marefriend beside her. "Well yeah, thats because you and Dashie have been too lovey dovey to spend time with us!" Pinkie shouted, while sporting a grin at the two receiving end ponies' blushes. "Yes well, i'm glad we were able to come together tonight. Although I likely would not have chosen somewhere as.. uncouth as this" Rarity grimaced, while looking around the bar. It was somewhat dark and musty in the room, and not everypony in there looked very friendly. One of the larger muscular ponies in the bar caught Rarity's look around the room and met her eyes. He lifted his eyebrow a few times, and flexed a forehoof, causing Rarity to cringe and turn back to her friends with a slight scowl. Rainbow, who had her hoof slung over Twilight's neck pulled it back and lifted her hooves up in-front of her. "Sorry, sorry, I know this isn't exactly ideal for some of you girls-" she said looking to Rarity and Fluttershy. "I just was going for a change of scenery" Then Rainbow smiled and looked over to Applejack "it's not that bad right AJ?" she asked, causing the farmer pony to shrug. "Nah, ain't too bad sugarcube, but I do think we're gettin' a few too many glances our way" she said, narrowing her eyes at some other gruff ponies who turned away at the glare. Rainbow had thrown her foreleg back around Twilight's neck "what do you think Twi?" she asked. Twilight looked around the room as well and looked uneasy "honestly I kind of agree with Rarity and Fluttershy" said the Alicorn, the tenseness in her tone not going unnoticed by her marefriend. Rainbow Dash swooped her head down to lock her lips onto Twilights for just a few short seconds, just about dazing Twilight. "Feeling better?" Rainbow asked smugly, only for Twilight to shake herself out of her trance and grin back at her. "Better" she replied. The tensions' relief didn't last for long though when two large, gruff stallions walked up to the mares' table. One a unicorn, the other a pegasus. "What was that?" one of them asked, leaning one hoof on their table. They both looked angry, obviously about something Twilight or Rainbow did since he was glaring directly at them. "What was what?" Twilight innocently asked back. "I just saw you kiss her" the other stallion said, pointing her hoof to Rainbow and then to Twilight. "Yeah, we don't accept fillyfoolers here, get out" the other stallion demanded. A few of the mares gasped. "What did you say!" Rainbow shouted, slamming her hoof onto the table. "You heard me!" one stallion yelled back. Twilight grabbed Rainbow's hoof with her own and tugged her a bit "Rainbow please, let's just go" "No, if these two donkey brains here have a problem with me dating you, then that's too bad!" Rainbow shouted, not even sparing her glare at the stallions. "Yeah its too bad, for you, get out! It's my bar and their my rules!" the stallion grunted. "How awful, what harm does it cause you that these two mares are in love! It's none of your concern!" shouted Rarity. "Exactly! thanks Rarity" Rainbow nodded to the unicorn. "It irritates me, mares and mares, stallions and stallions, it's unnatural and wrong, it's sick and disgusting!" one stallion shouted, as the other one leaned forward towards Rainbow. "Its not normal, you and your little filly friend here need to..." the stallion stopped once he realized who the filly friend was. "Princess... Princess Twilight is a fillyfooler" the stallion muttered in disbelief. It was hard to tell because Twilight had her head down for the whole argument, and still did. "Hay yeah she is! Still think it's wrong!" shouted Rainbow, causing the stallion to snap out of it. "Yeah I do! Princess or not it's still disgraceful. I can't believe our princess is a fillyfooler, she isn't worthy for that damn crown!" he yelled leaning down to try and glare at Twilight. As he did Rainbow leaned over Twilight (who was in between the two) and pushed the stallion away. "I'm warning you, get out of my bar right now!" he yelled. "OR ELSE WHA....t." Rainbow said, her yelling being toned down to a mumble in a second when she saw Twilight raise her head. She had tears practically pouring out of her eyes. Twilight abruptly stood from the table and hurried out, followed by Fluttershy who wanted to check on Twilight just as much as she wanted to leave that bar. "Fluttershy! Twilight! Oh now see here you scoundrels, I have half a mind to!" Rarity yelled as she stood from her seat and approached the stallions. Her horn even began to light up as she trotted up to them, followed by Rainbow who was following just over her shoulder. Quickly though Applejack bolted out infront of the two and spread her forehooves out wide. "Stop it y'all. Fightin' ain't gonna solve a thing girls. I'd like to buck a few teeth out same as y'all, but we'd be better off just headin' out" Applejack said, with a stern look in her eyes. Rarity looked from Applejack, to the stallions back to Applejack, until she relented. "Alright then.." she sighed and walked out to the exit. Rainbow Dash kept her glare over Applejack's shoulder at the stallions, until Applejack stepped to the side into her vision and looked her in the eyes. "ergh fine!" Rainbow relented, and Applejack began walking to the exit with Rainbow following behind. "Celestia damn fillyfooler" one of the stallions muttered. Rainbow stopped dead in her tracks, followed by Applejack spinning around to meet Rainbow's gaze. "Rainbow... don't" Applejack began, but it was too late. Rainbow spun around from where she was standing and bolted off the ground with her wings. She flew forward fast and threw out her hoof quickly, slamming it right into the earth pony stallion's jaw. The stallion fell back onto a table and his weight caused him and the table to topple over onto the floor. The stallion was on the ground with a little bit of blood on the side of his mouth. Rainbow began stepping forward, ready to keep going but as the stallion starting to get back up Applejack grabbed Rainbow and pulled her along. "Gosh darn it RD! What did I say!" she shouted as she dragged Rainbow out of the bar. Standing Up - Part 2"Twilight! Twilight!" Rainbow shouted as she soared across the sky. After being cooled off by Applejack, Rainbow had taken off to go find her marefriend. It was getting pretty late at this point and she hadn't found Twilight anywhere she looked. That being her castle, their friends' places, the park, or anywhere else she could see from above Ponyville. After finishing her final loop of the town, Rainbow sighed and slowly floated back down to the ground. She landed down on the sidewalk of one of the small streets, sitting on her flank. "Where are you Twilight...." she muttered, as she hung her head dejectedly. Rainbow looked around and noticed just how quiet it was, out on the sidewalk like this, yet hardly a peep. Rainbow wasn't used to being up this late, unless she was partying, so town wide silence like this was pretty odd to the pegasus. That quick moment of tranquil quietness was disrupted by a trash can that had just fallen over from behind Rainbow. She swung her head around to look into the alley next to her on the sidewalk, only to have to squint to see anything because it was very dark in there. Somewhat unluckily though, the cause of the noise made its self known when it came stepping out from the shadows with another pony in tail. It was the two stallions from the bar earlier, one of them sporting a badly bruised purple and red nose. The injured one was the pegasus who had a slicked back white mane and grey fur, the other being his unicorn friend who had a black mane with dark red fur. Both of them approached Rainbow, one holding a hoof to his injured nose. "There she is, you thought you could just punch me and get away with it!?" the pegasus shouted, as he quickly stomped up to her. Rainbow jumped to her hooves and back peddled away. "Relax, you're lucky thats all I did after what you idiots said!" she yelled back, though noticeably nervous at being outnumbered. She kept taking steps back as the stallions came closer. "Everything I said I stand by, fillyfooling isn't right! Why would a mare even want to be with another mare!" he shouted, stomping faster towards Rainbow. They had mostly crossed and street and were nearing the sidewalk on the other end. As they reached the sidewalk Rainbow's demeanor had turned angry, and she was ready for a fight even if she couldn't win against two ponies. What's the worst that could happen other than a few broken bones, definitely not fun, but it's not like she hasn't broken any before. Although the next part of their plan is what got to her. The stallion had gotten Rainbow right up to the wall of the building opposite of where they originally were and was now muzzle to muzzle with her. Rainbow's flank had bumped into the wall, and realized her position as she saw the other stallion rounding his friend to block her from both sides. "Maybe you like mares because you haven't.... experienced.. a stallion before. You know i'd be happy to help" the stallion said, leaning close to Rainbow's ear when he said it. He had creepy grin on to that only grew wider when he saw the bewildered look on Rainbow's face, her wide open eyes supporting it. "Back off" Rainbow said, putting a hoof to the stallion's chest. The stallion looked down at her hoof poking him, and then glared back up with her with that grin again. He then quickly lunged forward shoving Rainbow against the wall. He had pushed her against the wall so that she was vertical allowing her to raise her hind legs and buck him off of her. He stumbled back, but retained his balance allowing him to charge in for another attack. He once again grabbed her and shoved her into the wall. Rainbow swung her hoof how landing a hit on the stallion's jaw, but his grip only tightened as his head snapped back and he hit her right back in the face. Rainbow's head flew back at the impact only to fly forward again landing a solid headbutt to the opposite ponies forehead causing him to fall back this time. As the the stallion was temporarily down, Rainbow took the advantage to go on the offensive. As the stallion started to get off his flank, Rainbow quickly flung her back hooves forward kicking him in the face, causing a tooth to fly out and the stallion to slam back down on the stone sidewalk. Rainbow was furious, she went to get on top of the stallion to land some more blows but was engulfed in a red aura. She was forced to turn around and face the other unicorn stallion who levitated her and slammed her into the building wall, knocking the wind out of her. "agh!" Rainbow yelled, as the stallion swung her into the wall a second time. Rainbow quickly began flapping her wings, trying her best to use her athletic speed to her advantage. She quickly began to pick up speed with them, forcing her body to follow her will despite the magic surrounding her. She flapped her wings faster and faster causing the stallion to tire out from containing her, and lose the magic aura around her. Rainbow dropped to her hooves after being let go and began towards the unicorn to attack before he could recover. Though as she went forward she felt a pair of hooves rap around her neck and pull her into a chokehold. The pegasus then pushed one of his hindlegs forward to sweep Rainbow and tackle her to the ground. The unicorn quickly ran up and grabbed a hold of Rainbow's arms as she tried to squirm away from them. The pegasus only chuckled as she sat on her flank as she laid face down on the sidewalk, held down by his friend. "Stop! Please!" Rainbow shouted, the fear evident in her voice, and in the way her body was shaking. The stallion pushed her head down as he got into a straddle position. "You're not gonna be saying that for long, you'll want more once you see how it is with a stallion" he said, smiling over to his friend who nodded his approval. Suddenly, the stallion went flying off of Rainbow and out onto the road. Rainbow looked over to the stallion, the opposite of him to see a very angry Twilight Sparkle. "Get off of her.. now!" the anger in her voice practically spewing out. The stallion unicorn looked at her angrily, and momentarily took his focus away from Rainbow allowing her to push herself up and against him tackling him onto the ground. The stallion pushed back though as him and Rainbow rolled over back and forth wrestling each other in the hopes of pinning the other. Twilight approached them quickly and used her magic to try to pull them apart. As the attempted that the pegasus stallion recovered and dashed towards her. Rainbow, in the middle of shoving the unicorn noticed this and pushed away the unicorn to quickly slide her hooves forward causing the stallion to trip before making it to Twilight. He landed roughly on his chin. Rainbow then ran up beside Twilight to back away from the other unicorn. He then began to light up his horn and quickly shoot out a bolt of red magic, Twilight acted fast and made up a purple aura shield covering her and Rainbow. The red stallion shot several red bolts causing the shield to weaken. As the shield finally shattered Rainbow shoved Twilight to the ground, helping her avoid the bolts, and then dashed opposite of her with her speed and quickly slammed her hoof across the stallions face knocking him to the ground. With Rainbow's momentum due to her boost of speed, she had landed a solid hit knocking the unicorn out cold and laying him out flat. Twilight got back to her hooves and looked to Rainbow with a determined expression "one down, one to go" she said turning her head to face the pegasus stallion. He had gotten back to his hooves, but it was very apparent that he was exhausted based on the wobbling his legs were doing. "It's not natural.." he muttered, wiping blood from his mouth. "Celestia Damnit, you fillyfoolers should be ashamed. Your kind are a disgrace to ponies everywher-!" he was suddenly cut off by a purple aura, though not surrounding his body but just his neck. Slowly the aura then began lifting him off his hooves but by his neck making it harder for him to breathe. He was lifted up into the air as Twilight trotted up before him. She was seething "I don't care what you say, I love my marefriend and theres no denying that. I don't give a buck about what you think because you know what, it doesn't matter!" Twilight shouted, causing Rainbow to cringe slightly. "and for that matter, you also don't matter she said" as she spoke the aura began growing tighter and tighter. The stallion began grabbing at his neck trying to free himself, as he started to lose oxygen. "You think its okay to say what you do, to try and denounce my love. Stallion to stallion, mare to mare, it doesn't matter I know what I feel is real, and thats its perfectly acceptable. If you're too much of a bucking idiot to see that then it's your loss, cause i'm happy to have someone who loves me and that I love. While i'm sure your nice and bitter because you're alone and nobody loves you, cares for you, or even likes you for that matter!" The stallion was writhing wildly swinging his legs trying to break free. He was gasping for breathe at this point, and his whole face had begun to turn purple from oxygen loss. Twilight simply glared at him as the aura continued to tighten. "I doubt anyone would even care if I-" Twilight was stopped by a Rainbow hoof roughly grabbing her shoulder, causing Twilight to lose focus and loosen her grip. The aura widened allowing the oxygen to at least breathe while still being levitated. "Twilight relax! you're gonna kill him!" Rainbow shouted, causing Twilight to look at her and then to the stallion and then back to her. "I.. I.. don't know what came over me." Twilight frowned as she saw the nervous look in Rainbow's eyes. "i'm sorry if I scared you, it's just, the things they were saying. It just made me so angry and-" Twilight was close to tears, but Rainbow lunged forward to grab Twilight in a hug allowing the princess to rest her head on Rainbow's shoulder, immediately helping her calm down. Rainbow stroked Twilight's hair. Twilight then began to stroke Rainbow's hair as well. "Are you okay Rainbow, when I showed up I saw you fighting with them, but then I realized what they were trying to do..." Twilight muttered, pulling back and looking at Rainbow who had a few tears threatening to come out. "I... I.. was scared Twilight. Really scared..." Rainbow muttered quietly, Twilight couldn't stop her tears from breaking out at those words. Hearing Rainbow actually admit to her that she was scared, was definitely not easy. Rainbow admitting that obviously goes to show just how much she trusts Twilight, only making her embrace her rainbow maned marefriend again, but tighter. "I'm sorry Rainbow, I wish I had arrived sooner." "It's alright Twilight, either way i'm okay now thanks to you" Rainbow pulled back, just to push forward again and push her lips against Twilight's. Twilight leaned into the kiss and ran her hoof through Rainbow's mane for a few seconds before parting. The two locked eyes and smiled at each other, only to have their moment ruined. "Disgusting!" the stallion shouted, still in Twilight's grip. Twilight spun around on her hooves glaring at him and then looked left, then right to find what she was looking for. She eyed a larger dumpster and then quickly flung the stallion into the dumpster, and then also levitating the passed out unicorn and tossing him in as well. Rainbow trotted up and kicked the lid shut. Twilight levitated a couple of trash cans over on top of the dumpster's lid. "Let's just keep those idiots in there for now, we should probably go tell the police now right?" Rainbow said, looking to Twilight. Happy Anniversary?Twilight was practically flying down the stairs as fast as her hooves could take her, her hoof on the crystal railing so she wouldn't fall. She has just reached the bottom of her castle staircase when she saw what she can only describe as.... it. Normally Twilight would get a bit more technical and distinctive in her observations but she just couldn't find the words for the scene she was seeing right now. First there was a blazing hot fire coming from within her kitchen, several birds of different colors, shapes and sizes flying all around, a certain purple dragon running back and forth from outside with buckets of water, and in the center of it all a rainbow maned pegasus that was currently tied up in a microphone cord with a large guitar lying beside her. After seeing it all, Twilight decided it would be best to find a solution before thinking too far into it. She quickly took to her wings outside to the well where Spike had been getting water, Twilight formed a magic aura bubble around a large amount of water and carefully lifted it inside the castle and over the scorching hot stove in her kitchen. Thankfully the water seemed to do the trick, now for the birds. Twilight lit her horn and cast a powerful light spell, that emitted a bright white flash of light temporarily dazing everyone else in the room. After it wore off the birds looked in Twilight's direction to see another light ready to flash out from her horn, they then quickly took this chance to disperse from the castle. With that out of the way Twilight simply sighed without turning around to look at the pegasus behind her. "Hey uh... Twi, do you think you can help me outta' this?" asked the Pegasus, who was still bound on the floor. When she didn't respond, Rainbow Dash went to say something again before feeling the cords disappear from her body. She looked over and saw them re-appear a couple feet away from her. "Oh um.. thanks Twi. So listen let me just explai-" before Rainbow could finish, Twilight spun around to face her with a look of pure anger. While looking into her eyes Rainbow could have sworn she'd seen Tartarus itself, but before she could dwell on it Twilight decided to let herself be heard. "Rainbow, I want to know what happened here! NOW!" Twilight yelled, Rainbow jumped a bit. "Well I was trying to surprise you, it's-" but once again the increasingly frightened Pegasus was cut off. "Surprise!? Surprise!? Oh so this is your idea of a surprise!?, birds going crazy, burning down my castle! Why is it that your always screwing things up like this? Your always just screwing around and being reckless, while everyone, no you know what not everyone, pretty just me has to clean everything up!? From flying straight through my closed windows to burning down my home, it just never ends with you does it?" by this point Twilight had begun pacing into the burnt kitchen. Twilight levitated the oven door open and peered inside "Really Rainbow!? one simple cake and you managed to screw up so bad and cause all of this? What is wrong with you!? Everyone you go you make mistakes, and just make huge messes that everyone else has to deal with, your just one big screw up! We're lovers for Celesta-sake and yet I have to constantly keep an eye on you like your a Child, it hardly even feels like with a mare friend but instead i'm babysitting a reckless kid.. Oh and you wonder why you don't get into the Wonderbolts!" and just as the words left her mouth, Twilight instantly wanted them back in. Twilight heard a quiet sniffle from behind her, she whipped her head around to meet a sight that filled her with regret. Rainbow Dash was sitting on the floor, tears falling from her eyes. "Rainbow, listen I-" this time she was the one to be cut off. "I'm... i'm sorry. I just wanted to surprise you for our anniversary" Twilight looked a little confused at that "Wait, could it have been our anniversary? oh ponyfeathers" she thought "I had it all planned out and everything *sniffle* I was gonna play the song from our first dance. *sniffle* Each time I told you I had to work extra hours this week I was taking music lessons with Octavia. Then I asked Fluttershy for these birds to make it extra romantic, but then they started freaking out once the fire started. Plus the fire only started because I forgot the cake I made in the oven, i'm such an idiot Twi.." "Dash..." Twilight began, but then Spike cut in with "No don't blame her Twilight, I came in and kept asking Rainbow all about her plan and distracted her from the cake" Twilight looked over to Spike who was wearing a sad expression himself. When Twilight turned back towards Dash, the pegasus was already heading towards the door. Twilight used her magic to form a magic aura around Rainbow's tail and tugged her back a bit. "Dash wait, i'm sorry!" Twilight said. Rainbow looked back over her shoulder at Twilight who had fresh tears of her own. "I'm so sorry Rainbow, I know I was mad, but still I went over the line, especially with the Wonderbolts comment" Twilight then went up to Dash and brought her into a hug. Though Dash didn't return it at all. "You weren't wrong though" Dash said, startling Twilight. The princess pulled back to look Rainbow in the eyes. "What?" she asked. Dash carried on "I said you weren't wrong, I am a failure. Just look at how all of this turned out. I mean what kinda idiot can cause a huge fire and a crazy bird frenzy all within five minutes. Plus you were totally right about the Wonderbolts, as if I have a chance. I can already see it now, me being clumsy and knocking over all the stage lights or something. Twi, i'm a total screw up and you know it" by the end of it Rainbow just plopped down on her flank and covered her face with her hooves. Though they were moved out of the way by a purple set of hooves which was followed by a purple alicorn sporting an encouraging smile. "Dash stop it, you know none of thats true. Everything I said was because I was upset and wasn't thinking clearly. You're a fantastic pegasus who the Wonderbolts would be lucky to have. You have four amazing friends who would do anything for you and one marefriend who needs you in her life" before Rainbow could refute her mouth became occupied with another one meeting hers. Rainbow could have sworn she could literally feel her worries leave as Twilight kissed her. After a few more seconds Twilight broke the kiss and brought her hooves down to grab hold of Rainbow's, she looked straight into Rainbow's eyes. "I mean't every word Rainbow, you mean everything to me... I love you" Twilight said, and then remembered her assist in the room. "Oh and you too Spike, sorry I got so upset" she said, a little sheepishly. As she turned back to Dash she was surprised to find the kissing being the other way around this time. Rainbow put every ounce of passion she could into the kiss, and slowly pulled away. "Well you can say sorry by doing that somewhere else.." Spike muttered, but neither ponies even noticed. "I love you too Twilight" Rainbow said this as she leaned towards Twilight. They both put their foreheads against each others and stared into each others eyes, and they did that for maybe a little too long.... "Oh boy... I'm going up stairs" Spike said as he turned and headed up the staircase. The two ponies pulled away to watch Spike leave, and they also took it as a moment to get a good look at the room. "How's about we clean this place up, and then after we can uh.. head up stairs and both make it up to each other..." Rainbow said while wearing a very sly smile. "I'd like that" Twilight said mirroring that same smile. "I can still hear you!" Spike called from upstairs.
Little Spoon"What's the big deal Dash, it's not as if someones watching us" Twilight said, with a hint of annoyance. "I know but it's just... I don't know.." Dash said, she nervously rubbed the back of her neck. Rainbow sat up from the bed and looked around the dimly lit room. The candle next to her on the bedside table was barely enough to light up Twilight's bedroom, though Rainbow could make out a picture on a dresser in the room. It was of her, Twilight, and all of their friends having a picnic. Rainbow got distracted looking at it until she felt Twilight sit up next to her and rest her hoof on her shoulder. "Rainbow, I think your making a bigger deal then this really is" Twilight reasoned, but Rainbow just at looked at her curiously. "It just seems weird, I mean i'm supposed to be the tough manlier one. Sorta like the super cool alpha" Dash replied. Twilight merely rolled her eyes before she responded, "All i'm saying is that you don't have to embarrassed about being the little spoon dash". Even in the dimly lit room Twilight could see a slight blush on Rainbow's cheeks. "I know it's dumb, and even kinda childish but it seems weird. Having you wrap your hooves around me? I'm supposed to be an awesome kick-flank, radical pegasus, but then at the same time have you hold me in your arms like a damsel in distress sorta thing. Plus what if someone finds out, like Spike?" Rainbow said as she looked towards the door. She just kept trying to find more and more excuses before asking something out loud, which she wish she hadn't. "But why do I like it so much then?" and pretty much as she said it, she heard Twilight let out a soft giggle. "That's not what I mean't it's like-" Dash was completely flustered but Twilight cut her off. "It's fine if you like being cuddled Dash, you don't need to be embarrassed. Honestly I think it's sort of cute that your strong and brave during the day but cute and cuddly at night" Twilight giggled, which just made Dash blush even harder. "but what if Spike or the girls find out-" Dash then felt two hooves on each side of her face turn her head to face Twilight. "It's one of the things I love about you most Rainbow. You''re strong, brave, courageous, cool, and extremely pretty even if you won't admit it" Dash smiled at that. "Plus you also have a softer more caring side to you that you only show to people you trust the most, which is why i'm so honored when you want to be the little spoon. It definitely shows me that you trust me more then anypony else and that your safe around me." Twilight finished with a quick kiss on Dash's lips to conclude her point. Twilight then grinned "Plus nobody has to know about it. It's not like i'm going to gossip about what we do in bed to the girls" which made Dash laugh. "heh heh... yeah I get your point, and yeah I think your right. I've never really let my guard down around anypony in my life the way I do with you. Without making this any worse I just feel safe around you and definitely when you uh... hold me in your arms" Dash said once against getting a little embarrassed. Though not as much as before. "Good, that's just the way I like it" Twilight said before swinging her hoof around Dash's neck and pulling them both back into bed. Dash sighed dreamily as she felt Twilight wrap her hooves and wing around her belly and lift her hindleg over onto Dash's. She felt completely safe, cuddling with her marefriend knowing that nothing bad would happen if she had her back. "I love you, Rainbow" Twilight said as she let her head rest in the crane of Rainbow's neck which the pegasus had no objection to "love you too Twilight". Everything was just right up until "you're just too cute Dashie" Twilight grinned "alright don't push it Twilight..." Dash humphed. "But you are, you have that beautiful rainbow colored hair-" Dash felt Twilights hoof stroking her hair. "your pretty pink eyes-" Rainbow could feel the blush growing. "your cute little ears-" Twilight murmured as Dash went to reply "they're not cute *aah*" but was cut off by her own gasp as she felt Twilight nibble on her ear. Rainbow would be a liar if she said that wasn't one of the best things she's felt in her life. She let out an involuntary sigh when Twilight stopped nibbling. "and how adorable you look when I do this-" Twilight said as she playful jabbed Rainbow in her ticklish spot on her side. Rainbow lunged up a bit with a involuntary giggle, only to put on a playful grumpy face right afterwards. "See even your angry face is cute" Twilight grinned as Rainbow pouted even more. Rainbow then let the frown slip away into a smile and booped Twilight on the nose causing her to wrinkle her nose in an adorable way, not that Rainbow would admit that to anyone but Twilight. "You're the cute one remember, i'm the awesome one" Rainbow insisted. "Oh yeah, how about we make a deal then" Twilight grinned. "Alright Sparkle, i'm listening" "How about you admit that your cute, and then i'll nibble your ear some more since you obviously liked it" Twilight snickered while sporting the most devious smirk. Rainbow couldn't believe what she'd just heard, how could her marefriend put her in such a messed up position. This was practically asking her to choose a path, a safe brightly lit path with a single pegasus at the end of it, without a snuggle buddy; or an evil darkness filled path that led to snuggling and ear nibbling at the end. It was Heaven vs Hell but with a twist at the end. As Rainbow considered which torture she would prefer she felt Twilights hot breath on her ear, teasing her, she was so close but not close enough. "Alright, alright! fine i'll say it" Rainbow spat out. Twilight grinned and lifted her hoof to her own ear "what's that I didn't hear you?". Rainbow grit her teeth "i'll say it". Both of them sat up from the bed. Twilight then cut in with "but you have to go all out. you need to say 'I Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle's mare friend, am cute, and an awesome snuggle buddy' and at least it has the word awesome in it". Rainbow facehoofed and slowly dragged her hand down, pulling her face slightly with it. "*sigh* I Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle's marefriend, am cute..... *sigh* and an awesome snuggle buddy" Rainbow hung her head in defeat on the last part. "There, I said it.." she moaned, but gasped when was quickly pulled back down into the blankets and Twilights warm embrace. "Good, that's all I wanted to hear" Twilight said as she started to cuddle up with Rainbow again, and she began to nibble at her ears. Rainbow, feeling totally comfortable around Twilight now, sighed out loud on purpose this time, and relaxed in Twilights hooves which started to slowly rub in circles on her belly. Rainbow was in pure bliss, meaning she must have chosen the right path after all. Oh and "holy buck she's good at this" Rainbow thought to herself.
PrivacyIt was mostly quiet in the room, aside from the soft moaning coming from by the couch. Though there was a slight noise getting louder and louder. As the sound grew closer it's location was pinpointed at the front door of Twilight's castle. As it grew the sound started to become recognizable as voices. Voices that would have acted as a pretty huge warning, if not for the fact that the two ponies on the couch were two busy making out. Being too distracted with each other, neither Rainbow Dash nor Twilight Sparkle noticed the door knob turning. "So what games do you wanna play first" asked Spike. "I don't know, something that could maybe help us earn our cutie marks?" Sweetie Belle replied getting two head nods from the other crusaders. Spike then turned the nob and pushed open the castle door only to wish he hadn't. As the door flung open one dragon and three fillies stood shocked as they looked towards the center of the room. Rainbow and Twilight were too busy locking lips to notice the audience they had just gained. After roughly 30 seconds of just stunned silence, Spike decided to clear his throat to announce his presence. Twilight, who was under Dash, peered over the pegasus' shoulder in the middle of their fiery passion to see that they were putting on a show. Twilight blushed furiously and pulled her tongue away from Dash's leaving the pegasus to quickly moan from being denied access, to then yelping when she was immediately pushed onto the floor. "What the hay Twilight!" Rainbow yelled until looking at Twilight who's facing was glowing red and was pointing behind her. "What?" Dash said, while spinning around to face their new guests. Rainbow's face immediately switched into shock, the two mares just silently stared at the fillies and dragon for roughly 10 seconds before "Hi......girls" Twilight awkwardly said. Rainbow looked over her shoulder at an embarrassed an alicorn, and then back at the fillies "You kinda surprised us, me and Twilight were just playing a game of uh...." Rainbow searched her brain for an excuse before receiving a blunt answer. "a game of Tonsil Hockey?" Scootaloo finished for her, grinning. Rainbow Dash looked at Scootaloo, a bewildered expression adorning her face. "How old are you again" Rainbow asked, "we're not dumb, Rainbow" Apple Bloom answered, very matter of factly. Rainbow then got off her flank and slowly backed up to Twilight and slung her hoof over her shoulder. "So we'll just uh... talk to you girls later...." and before the fillies could utter a word, Rainbow had snatched Twilight and rocketed out the front door with rainboom like speeds. Which left the fillies standing there awkwardly, having some fierce blushes themselves at this point. "Rainbow Dash is so awesome" Scootaloo muttered, only for Sweetie Belle to smack the back of her head right afterwards. _____________________________________________________ "Are you sure this is safe, Rainbow?" Twilight asked, uncertainty sprinkled throughout her voice. "Of course i'm sure, I sleep in these trees all the time. So how much harder can making out be?" Rainbow replied. "Still, what if someone finds us. Kissing up in one of Applejack's trees isn't really the most secluded place Rainbow. What if we slip out of the tree, or Applejack comes by or-" Twilight was cut off by Rainbow Dash's lips smacking into her own. Twilight pretty much felt the worries shoot out of her body when their lips made contact. Rainbow Dash started to lick Twilight's lips begging for access to the purple ponies' tongue. Twilight gladly opened her mouth, sending her own tongue out to attack Rainbow's. Their tongues wrestled long and hard, but Twilight had pinned Rainbow's to the roof of her mouth. Twilight began moaning loudly, eliciting a moan from the pegasus. Twilight was hungrily exploring Rainbow's mouth while she began ruffling Rainbow's mane with a free hoof. Rainbow was in pure ecstasy, she loved it when Twilight was aggressive with her. "Celestia, she is just so bucking hot!" Rainbow thought her mind practically racing. Similarly to Twilight who was beginning to feel herself getting wet as she began moaning louder and louder. The two had never gone past passionately making out before, but Twilight couldn't help herself as she rolled onto Rainbow and slowly started grinding on her. "I hope she doesn't think were rushing this" Twilight thought, but the thinking part of her brain was having a hard time functioning when she had the hottest mare in Equestria under her. Twilight could feel Rainbow's strong muscles flexing, and then was slightly taken aback as she felt Dash started grinding back against her showing that she was on the same page as Twilight. Twilight picked up the pace with her rhythmic grinding, and started to dig around further in Rainbow's mouth. Rainbow Dash, not one for slowing down picked up the pace alongside Twilight bucking back furiously. Back and forth, back and forth, their flanks bouncing against one another. Twilight could not believe just how hot this one, the heat and sweat was building up immensely. Rainbow slung her hoof to the back of Twilight's head and forced her deeper into the kiss. Twilight could feel herself getting closer and closer as the two ponies' sex rubbed up against one another. Rainbow could swear she felt some splinters from the tree under her, but she didn't care she was way too busy humping the mare on top of her. Twilight was only just realizing how much she needed oxygen, but thankfully she was so close to climaxing. Rainbow and Twilight went faster and faster, getting closer to releasing the huge amount of pressure they've built up. The two could feel themselves getting weaker and their legs began to wobble, exhausted from all the humping, but it was about to be worth it. The two felt like they were in perfect sync right up until the point where they felt a lot of wetness. Though it wasn't just from below. Big splashes of water sprayed the couple and caused them to tumble off of the tree, pegasus falling on alicorn. Rainbow sat up from Twilight rubbing her head "sorry about that Twi", "it's alright Rainbow" Twilight replied also sitting up. The two looked over at whatever evil pony could ruin such an amazing make out session, and then their faces turned to fear mixed with intense blushing when they saw a very angry orange pony standing before them holding a hose. "What did y'all think you were doin' swappin yer' saliva up in ma' tree!" Applejack yelled, forcing the two offenders to take a couple steps back. "Well you see we uh... we um.... Twilight" Rainbow stuttered turning the blame over to her marefriend. Twilight glared at Rainbow and then shrunk back when she met the farmer's gaze again. "We were simply.... trying to...." Twilight then quickly lit her horn, forming a purple aura and causing her and the "hottest mare in Equestria" to teleport out of there. "Gosh Darn nit! Those two had better be thankful I didn't use somethin' worse than a hose" ____________________________________________________________ Twilight slowly pulled her muzzles from Dash's "this was the perfect spot, Rainbow. Nobody's gonna find us on Rarity's boutique". Rainbow, then began stroking Twilight's hair "Yeah I know, i'm pretty amazing" Rainbow said earning a playful shoulder punch from Twilight. Rainbow smiled at Twilight who smiled back, while staring into each other's eyes. Though Rainbow's eyes started to move slightly past Twilight's shoulder, and her face twisted into shock. "What's the matter?' Twilight asked, only to follow the mares gaze to behind her. "Oh my celestia..." Twilight muttered as a large shadow started to loom over them. Slowly a pink weather balloon started to find it's way drifting right beside the boutiques roof, with a Poofy maned pony steering it. "Pinkie! How long have you been up there?" Rainbow yelled, practically steaming. "Uhhhh... about five minutes worth of kissing" Pinkie Pie stated. Twilight who was fuming as well, used her magic to levitate Pinkie out of the balloon and walked over to it. She then proceeded to stab the balloon with her horn causing it to deflate which simultaneously caused Pinkie's hair to deflate. "aaawwww" Pinkie moaned only for Twilight to turn around and glare at her before casting another spell making her and Rainbow disappear again. The two re-appeared back in Twilight's castle in the bedroom. The two ponies dragged themselves to bed and faced each other, their muzzles being very close together, just about to kiss, before their heads dropped onto the pillows and they felt asleep, but not without at least holding hooves.
Are You Bored With Me?"Are you sure you don't want to stay here and read, maybe play a board game?" Twilight asked, a hint of desperation in her voice. Though it went unnoticed by the rainbow maned pegasus "Nah, sorry Twi. I was gonna go pranking with Pinkie Pie" she said. Then Rainbow proceeded to slam the door behind her on the way out. Twilight just sighed and looked at the book she had in her hoof. She walked over to a nearby book shelf in the library section and slid it back to where she had got it, and decided to head up the crystal stairs to her bedroom. __________________________________________________________________________________ Twilight's eyes slowly began to open while struggling against the light coming through the window. As her eyes adjusted to the light, she noticed her beautiful marefriend, Rainbow Dash, was already out of bed and was grabbing things in her closet. "Rainbow? you're up early. Are you going somewhere?" she asked, noticing the hoofball she had. "Huh? Oh... morning Twilight. Uh yeah me, Applejack, Thunderlane, Cloudchaser, Big Mac, and Rumble are all going to go play hoofball in the park." she said, the nervous look on her face evident. "Sorry I didn't tell you about it already. It's just that I figured you wouldn't want to go since your not really into sports" Rainbow said while awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck. Twilight managed to lean up in the bed, "oh.. well thats fine. Yeah i'm not one for sports, i'll probably just reorganize the library a bit. Move some shelves, bean bag chairs and the couch" she said. "Are you sure? If you wanna wait I can help move some stuff when I get back" Rainbow said, only for Twilight to wave her hoof. "No it's alright Rainbow, you go have fun" she said while wearing a pretty awesome smile (or at least thats what Rainbow thought) Rainbow Dash grinned and headed out the door, waving "Alright, see ya' later Twilight" Twilight waved back at her until the door shut. Then her hoof slowly lowered as she spoke "yeah... se ya later..." she mumbled. _______________________________________________________________ Twilight was working away in the kitchen, she was never much for cookie but she could put together a sandwich if she had to. Plus she had decided to make an extra one for Rainbow Dash. Just as she lowered the final bread piece on top of Rainbow's with her magic, she heard the front door to the castle fly open and echo a bit. 'This castle is way too big" she thought. Just as Rainbow came dashing into the kitchen, Twilight began "Oh hey Rainbow listen-" though she was cut off when Dash quickly kissed her on the lips only to separate them way too quick. With the quick peck Rainbow said "sorry Twi, I gotta get over to Fluttershy's. She needs some help with some heavy stuff for her garden. Bye!" and just as quick as she appeared she was gone, having dashed back out. Twilight stood stunned for a moment before her mind caught up with her. She simply sighed, and hung her head low. She levitated a ziplock bag over and put the sandwich inside for later, before placing it in the fridge. __________________________________________________________________ "Rainbow are you sure? You really don't want to have just a quick race with me? You always want to race!" Twilight practically begged, but Rainbow resisted. "Nah, I gotta get over to Sweet Apple Acres, Me and Applejack are camping out tonight with the Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle. Raritys not coming cause, well you know how she is about camping" said Rainbow. She then trotted out the front door, not even noticing Twilight who had literally reached her foreleg out to her. "but.... but.." ________________________________________________________________ The rain was pouring down on this night, harsher then normal. Rainbow Dash trotted up the steps and pushed open the doors to the castle. She walked in on the doormat but stopped there not wanting her soaking wet fur to get the floor all wet. "Twilight? Twilight! You around, can you bring a towel?" Rainbow's voice echoed off the walls. "Twilight? as you can tell it's pouring out so camping was cancelled" Rainbow simply shook herself to try and get most of the water off to proceed into the castle. She then started poking her head into different doors "Twilight?" "Twiiillliiggghhtt??" "You in here?" "here?" "hello?" Finally Rainbow had climbed the staircase to the "royal bedroom" or so Rainbow liked to call it against Twilight's dismay. She creaked the door open, "um, Twilight?" she peaked in and saw a familiar silhouette sitting on bed opposite the window. Rainbow started to slowly enter "Twilight? everything alright?" she asked. She recognized the sniffling noise, and as she neared she began to make out the Alicorn's features. Her mane looked a bit disheveled and fresh tears were streaming down her face. Rainbow immediately hugged Twilight "Twi? what's wrong, what's going on?" she asked quickly. She was really worried, she looked around the room for any danger and pulled back from the hug. "Did something happen, are you hurt or-?" her mind was racing but Twilight cut her off with a hoof. "No, no i'm not hurt. I'm safe.." she mumbled. "Well... what's wrong then" Rainbow was just about mirroring Twilight's sad expression, minus all the tears. "Rainbow. Am I boring?" she asked, simply. "What?" "Am I boring" she repeated Rainbow's hooves grasped Twilight's "No you're not boring, what'd make you say that?" the pegasus asked. "It's just that you always seem to want to hang out with the other girls, instead of me. Not that you can't but it just feels as though you're bored with me. Reading, star gazing, board games, i'm just boring. Why would you want to be around me when you can go have so much more fun with the others" Twilight's head lowered and she sniffled some more, holding back new tears. Rainbow lifted Twilight's head to meet her eyes, Rainbow's eyes were wet and she was ready to tear up. "Don't ever say that Twilight, if I believed any of that how in the hay would we be marefriends. Not everything we do is gonna be awesome or exciting, but that's not why i'm with you. Sometimes I don't want to race, i'd rather relax and cuddle with you. I don't want to go around pranking people, instead i'd rather listen to Daring Doo while my awesome marefriend reads it to me. I want to take a walk with you instead of flying fast, because you're worth slowing down for" Twilight's mouth hung open slightly, after all Dash had said. Then she recollected her thoughts and took control of the situation. She quickly pushed forward, connecting her lips with Rainbow's and pulling her down onto the bed with her. Rainbow happily kissed back until air was hard to find. As she pulled away she smiled down at Twilight who smiled back up at her. "Plus, i'd be kinda weird trying to cuddle with Applejack" she laughed, and Twilight giggled. Suddenly Twilight's magic aura formed around Rainbow and lifted up over Twilight onto the other end of the bed. She placed her down and lifted the blanket over top of her. Twilight stood up "alright, you stay right here and i'll go grab the new Daring Doo book, it just arrived this morning. That sound okay?" she asked with a smile. Rainbow gave a toothy grin back "sounds perfect" she said, causing Twilight's smile to grow even larger.
Standing Up - Part 1"To friends" said a raspy voice. "To friends!" shouted 5 other voices ranging from a southern drawl to a meek mumble. Each of the ponies clinked their glasses together. "I'm happy we were all able to get together tonight, ever since me and Rainbow started dating we haven't really all gotten together" said Twilight, as she glanced around the table to each of her friends and marefriend beside her. "Well yeah, thats because you and Dashie have been too lovey dovey to spend time with us!" Pinkie shouted, while sporting a grin at the two receiving end ponies' blushes. "Yes well, i'm glad we were able to come together tonight. Although I likely would not have chosen somewhere as.. uncouth as this" Rarity grimaced, while looking around the bar. It was somewhat dark and musty in the room, and not everypony in there looked very friendly. One of the larger muscular ponies in the bar caught Rarity's look around the room and met her eyes. He lifted his eyebrow a few times, and flexed a forehoof, causing Rarity to cringe and turn back to her friends with a slight scowl. Rainbow, who had her hoof slung over Twilight's neck pulled it back and lifted her hooves up in-front of her. "Sorry, sorry, I know this isn't exactly ideal for some of you girls-" she said looking to Rarity and Fluttershy. "I just was going for a change of scenery" Then Rainbow smiled and looked over to Applejack "it's not that bad right AJ?" she asked, causing the farmer pony to shrug. "Nah, ain't too bad sugarcube, but I do think we're gettin' a few too many glances our way" she said, narrowing her eyes at some other gruff ponies who turned away at the glare. Rainbow had thrown her foreleg back around Twilight's neck "what do you think Twi?" she asked. Twilight looked around the room as well and looked uneasy "honestly I kind of agree with Rarity and Fluttershy" said the Alicorn, the tenseness in her tone not going unnoticed by her marefriend. Rainbow Dash swooped her head down to lock her lips onto Twilights for just a few short seconds, just about dazing Twilight. "Feeling better?" Rainbow asked smugly, only for Twilight to shake herself out of her trance and grin back at her. "Better" she replied. The tensions' relief didn't last for long though when two large, gruff stallions walked up to the mares' table. One a unicorn, the other a pegasus. "What was that?" one of them asked, leaning one hoof on their table. They both looked angry, obviously about something Twilight or Rainbow did since he was glaring directly at them. "What was what?" Twilight innocently asked back. "I just saw you kiss her" the other stallion said, pointing her hoof to Rainbow and then to Twilight. "Yeah, we don't accept fillyfoolers here, get out" the other stallion demanded. A few of the mares gasped. "What did you say!" Rainbow shouted, slamming her hoof onto the table. "You heard me!" one stallion yelled back. Twilight grabbed Rainbow's hoof with her own and tugged her a bit "Rainbow please, let's just go" "No, if these two donkey brains here have a problem with me dating you, then that's too bad!" Rainbow shouted, not even sparing her glare at the stallions. "Yeah its too bad, for you, get out! It's my bar and their my rules!" the stallion grunted. "How awful, what harm does it cause you that these two mares are in love! It's none of your concern!" shouted Rarity. "Exactly! thanks Rarity" Rainbow nodded to the unicorn. "It irritates me, mares and mares, stallions and stallions, it's unnatural and wrong, it's sick and disgusting!" one stallion shouted, as the other one leaned forward towards Rainbow. "Its not normal, you and your little filly friend here need to..." the stallion stopped once he realized who the filly friend was. "Princess... Princess Twilight is a fillyfooler" the stallion muttered in disbelief. It was hard to tell because Twilight had her head down for the whole argument, and still did. "Hay yeah she is! Still think it's wrong!" shouted Rainbow, causing the stallion to snap out of it. "Yeah I do! Princess or not it's still disgraceful. I can't believe our princess is a fillyfooler, she isn't worthy for that damn crown!" he yelled leaning down to try and glare at Twilight. As he did Rainbow leaned over Twilight (who was in between the two) and pushed the stallion away. "I'm warning you, get out of my bar right now!" he yelled. "OR ELSE WHA....t." Rainbow said, her yelling being toned down to a mumble in a second when she saw Twilight raise her head. She had tears practically pouring out of her eyes. Twilight abruptly stood from the table and hurried out, followed by Fluttershy who wanted to check on Twilight just as much as she wanted to leave that bar. "Fluttershy! Twilight! Oh now see here you scoundrels, I have half a mind to!" Rarity yelled as she stood from her seat and approached the stallions. Her horn even began to light up as she trotted up to them, followed by Rainbow who was following just over her shoulder. Quickly though Applejack bolted out infront of the two and spread her forehooves out wide. "Stop it y'all. Fightin' ain't gonna solve a thing girls. I'd like to buck a few teeth out same as y'all, but we'd be better off just headin' out" Applejack said, with a stern look in her eyes. Rarity looked from Applejack, to the stallions back to Applejack, until she relented. "Alright then.." she sighed and walked out to the exit. Rainbow Dash kept her glare over Applejack's shoulder at the stallions, until Applejack stepped to the side into her vision and looked her in the eyes. "ergh fine!" Rainbow relented, and Applejack began walking to the exit with Rainbow following behind. "Celestia damn fillyfooler" one of the stallions muttered. Rainbow stopped dead in her tracks, followed by Applejack spinning around to meet Rainbow's gaze. "Rainbow... don't" Applejack began, but it was too late. Rainbow spun around from where she was standing and bolted off the ground with her wings. She flew forward fast and threw out her hoof quickly, slamming it right into the earth pony stallion's jaw. The stallion fell back onto a table and his weight caused him and the table to topple over onto the floor. The stallion was on the ground with a little bit of blood on the side of his mouth. Rainbow began stepping forward, ready to keep going but as the stallion starting to get back up Applejack grabbed Rainbow and pulled her along. "Gosh darn it RD! What did I say!" she shouted as she dragged Rainbow out of the bar.
Standing Up - Part 2"Twilight! Twilight!" Rainbow shouted as she soared across the sky. After being cooled off by Applejack, Rainbow had taken off to go find her marefriend. It was getting pretty late at this point and she hadn't found Twilight anywhere she looked. That being her castle, their friends' places, the park, or anywhere else she could see from above Ponyville. After finishing her final loop of the town, Rainbow sighed and slowly floated back down to the ground. She landed down on the sidewalk of one of the small streets, sitting on her flank. "Where are you Twilight...." she muttered, as she hung her head dejectedly. Rainbow looked around and noticed just how quiet it was, out on the sidewalk like this, yet hardly a peep. Rainbow wasn't used to being up this late, unless she was partying, so town wide silence like this was pretty odd to the pegasus. That quick moment of tranquil quietness was disrupted by a trash can that had just fallen over from behind Rainbow. She swung her head around to look into the alley next to her on the sidewalk, only to have to squint to see anything because it was very dark in there. Somewhat unluckily though, the cause of the noise made its self known when it came stepping out from the shadows with another pony in tail. It was the two stallions from the bar earlier, one of them sporting a badly bruised purple and red nose. The injured one was the pegasus who had a slicked back white mane and grey fur, the other being his unicorn friend who had a black mane with dark red fur. Both of them approached Rainbow, one holding a hoof to his injured nose. "There she is, you thought you could just punch me and get away with it!?" the pegasus shouted, as he quickly stomped up to her. Rainbow jumped to her hooves and back peddled away. "Relax, you're lucky thats all I did after what you idiots said!" she yelled back, though noticeably nervous at being outnumbered. She kept taking steps back as the stallions came closer. "Everything I said I stand by, fillyfooling isn't right! Why would a mare even want to be with another mare!" he shouted, stomping faster towards Rainbow. They had mostly crossed and street and were nearing the sidewalk on the other end. As they reached the sidewalk Rainbow's demeanor had turned angry, and she was ready for a fight even if she couldn't win against two ponies. What's the worst that could happen other than a few broken bones, definitely not fun, but it's not like she hasn't broken any before. Although the next part of their plan is what got to her. The stallion had gotten Rainbow right up to the wall of the building opposite of where they originally were and was now muzzle to muzzle with her. Rainbow's flank had bumped into the wall, and realized her position as she saw the other stallion rounding his friend to block her from both sides. "Maybe you like mares because you haven't.... experienced.. a stallion before. You know i'd be happy to help" the stallion said, leaning close to Rainbow's ear when he said it. He had creepy grin on to that only grew wider when he saw the bewildered look on Rainbow's face, her wide open eyes supporting it. "Back off" Rainbow said, putting a hoof to the stallion's chest. The stallion looked down at her hoof poking him, and then glared back up with her with that grin again. He then quickly lunged forward shoving Rainbow against the wall. He had pushed her against the wall so that she was vertical allowing her to raise her hind legs and buck him off of her. He stumbled back, but retained his balance allowing him to charge in for another attack. He once again grabbed her and shoved her into the wall. Rainbow swung her hoof how landing a hit on the stallion's jaw, but his grip only tightened as his head snapped back and he hit her right back in the face. Rainbow's head flew back at the impact only to fly forward again landing a solid headbutt to the opposite ponies forehead causing him to fall back this time. As the the stallion was temporarily down, Rainbow took the advantage to go on the offensive. As the stallion started to get off his flank, Rainbow quickly flung her back hooves forward kicking him in the face, causing a tooth to fly out and the stallion to slam back down on the stone sidewalk. Rainbow was furious, she went to get on top of the stallion to land some more blows but was engulfed in a red aura. She was forced to turn around and face the other unicorn stallion who levitated her and slammed her into the building wall, knocking the wind out of her. "agh!" Rainbow yelled, as the stallion swung her into the wall a second time. Rainbow quickly began flapping her wings, trying her best to use her athletic speed to her advantage. She quickly began to pick up speed with them, forcing her body to follow her will despite the magic surrounding her. She flapped her wings faster and faster causing the stallion to tire out from containing her, and lose the magic aura around her. Rainbow dropped to her hooves after being let go and began towards the unicorn to attack before he could recover. Though as she went forward she felt a pair of hooves rap around her neck and pull her into a chokehold. The pegasus then pushed one of his hindlegs forward to sweep Rainbow and tackle her to the ground. The unicorn quickly ran up and grabbed a hold of Rainbow's arms as she tried to squirm away from them. The pegasus only chuckled as she sat on her flank as she laid face down on the sidewalk, held down by his friend. "Stop! Please!" Rainbow shouted, the fear evident in her voice, and in the way her body was shaking. The stallion pushed her head down as he got into a straddle position. "You're not gonna be saying that for long, you'll want more once you see how it is with a stallion" he said, smiling over to his friend who nodded his approval. Suddenly, the stallion went flying off of Rainbow and out onto the road. Rainbow looked over to the stallion, the opposite of him to see a very angry Twilight Sparkle. "Get off of her.. now!" the anger in her voice practically spewing out. The stallion unicorn looked at her angrily, and momentarily took his focus away from Rainbow allowing her to push herself up and against him tackling him onto the ground. The stallion pushed back though as him and Rainbow rolled over back and forth wrestling each other in the hopes of pinning the other. Twilight approached them quickly and used her magic to try to pull them apart. As the attempted that the pegasus stallion recovered and dashed towards her. Rainbow, in the middle of shoving the unicorn noticed this and pushed away the unicorn to quickly slide her hooves forward causing the stallion to trip before making it to Twilight. He landed roughly on his chin. Rainbow then ran up beside Twilight to back away from the other unicorn. He then began to light up his horn and quickly shoot out a bolt of red magic, Twilight acted fast and made up a purple aura shield covering her and Rainbow. The red stallion shot several red bolts causing the shield to weaken. As the shield finally shattered Rainbow shoved Twilight to the ground, helping her avoid the bolts, and then dashed opposite of her with her speed and quickly slammed her hoof across the stallions face knocking him to the ground. With Rainbow's momentum due to her boost of speed, she had landed a solid hit knocking the unicorn out cold and laying him out flat. Twilight got back to her hooves and looked to Rainbow with a determined expression "one down, one to go" she said turning her head to face the pegasus stallion. He had gotten back to his hooves, but it was very apparent that he was exhausted based on the wobbling his legs were doing. "It's not natural.." he muttered, wiping blood from his mouth. "Celestia Damnit, you fillyfoolers should be ashamed. Your kind are a disgrace to ponies everywher-!" he was suddenly cut off by a purple aura, though not surrounding his body but just his neck. Slowly the aura then began lifting him off his hooves but by his neck making it harder for him to breathe. He was lifted up into the air as Twilight trotted up before him. She was seething "I don't care what you say, I love my marefriend and theres no denying that. I don't give a buck about what you think because you know what, it doesn't matter!" Twilight shouted, causing Rainbow to cringe slightly. "and for that matter, you also don't matter she said" as she spoke the aura began growing tighter and tighter. The stallion began grabbing at his neck trying to free himself, as he started to lose oxygen. "You think its okay to say what you do, to try and denounce my love. Stallion to stallion, mare to mare, it doesn't matter I know what I feel is real, and thats its perfectly acceptable. If you're too much of a bucking idiot to see that then it's your loss, cause i'm happy to have someone who loves me and that I love. While i'm sure your nice and bitter because you're alone and nobody loves you, cares for you, or even likes you for that matter!" The stallion was writhing wildly swinging his legs trying to break free. He was gasping for breathe at this point, and his whole face had begun to turn purple from oxygen loss. Twilight simply glared at him as the aura continued to tighten. "I doubt anyone would even care if I-" Twilight was stopped by a Rainbow hoof roughly grabbing her shoulder, causing Twilight to lose focus and loosen her grip. The aura widened allowing the oxygen to at least breathe while still being levitated. "Twilight relax! you're gonna kill him!" Rainbow shouted, causing Twilight to look at her and then to the stallion and then back to her. "I.. I.. don't know what came over me." Twilight frowned as she saw the nervous look in Rainbow's eyes. "i'm sorry if I scared you, it's just, the things they were saying. It just made me so angry and-" Twilight was close to tears, but Rainbow lunged forward to grab Twilight in a hug allowing the princess to rest her head on Rainbow's shoulder, immediately helping her calm down. Rainbow stroked Twilight's hair. Twilight then began to stroke Rainbow's hair as well. "Are you okay Rainbow, when I showed up I saw you fighting with them, but then I realized what they were trying to do..." Twilight muttered, pulling back and looking at Rainbow who had a few tears threatening to come out. "I... I.. was scared Twilight. Really scared..." Rainbow muttered quietly, Twilight couldn't stop her tears from breaking out at those words. Hearing Rainbow actually admit to her that she was scared, was definitely not easy. Rainbow admitting that obviously goes to show just how much she trusts Twilight, only making her embrace her rainbow maned marefriend again, but tighter. "I'm sorry Rainbow, I wish I had arrived sooner." "It's alright Twilight, either way i'm okay now thanks to you" Rainbow pulled back, just to push forward again and push her lips against Twilight's. Twilight leaned into the kiss and ran her hoof through Rainbow's mane for a few seconds before parting. The two locked eyes and smiled at each other, only to have their moment ruined. "Disgusting!" the stallion shouted, still in Twilight's grip. Twilight spun around on her hooves glaring at him and then looked left, then right to find what she was looking for. She eyed a larger dumpster and then quickly flung the stallion into the dumpster, and then also levitating the passed out unicorn and tossing him in as well. Rainbow trotted up and kicked the lid shut. Twilight levitated a couple of trash cans over on top of the dumpster's lid. "Let's just keep those idiots in there for now, we should probably go tell the police now right?" Rainbow said, looking to Twilight. Twilight smiled back and nodded as the two walked off to get the authorities, happy to try and put this whole thing behind them.
