Scoot's Mom

"Hmm I wonder why Rainbow Dash told me to meet her at sugar cube corner?" Scootaloo thought to herself as she rode her scooter Dow the familiar streets of Ponyville, she high hoofed her friends as she rode past them, "Ponyville is rather busy today" She said quietly.

She arrived at Sugar Cube Corner afew minutes later, she took her helmet off and placed it on the left handle bar of her scooter after she parked it leaning against the window of Sugar Cube Corner, she marched inside cheerfully and glanced around the room soon a nervous looking Rainbow Dash appeared from the kitchen followed by Pinkie, she wore her usual cheerful happy smile, but looked concerned, "What's wrong guys?" Scoot asked before spinning around in a circle and looking at herself, "well s-Scoots, I didn't call y-you here for how awesome, you are. today it's for a much, m-more serious reason." Rainbow stuttered on her words, "Rainbow Dash, what is it? You can tell me I'm your sister after all, aren't I?" Scoot tried to cheer up Dash, that word, sister it made Rainbow dash want to cry, "No." Rainbow said depressingly, "W-what?!" Scootaloo cried, "You're more than my sister..." Rainbow Dash smiled, "S-Scoot your my-" there was a pause between Rainbow Dash's words, "Daughter." She finally finished, Scootaloo was crying by this point, there was a silence in the room for a short moment, "But I look nothing like you!" Scootaloo finally broke the silence, "You do, you've  got my wings, and mane," Rainbow confirmed. "What did Dad look like?" Scootaloo asked her new mother, Rainbow dash unwrapped a cloth from a rectangle looking object, she handed it to Scootaloo it was a frame with a dark orange coated earth pony stallion, he had light purple hair, lighter than Scootaloo's, "his name was Ice Dasher, his talent was playing ice hokey, i don't know why, he passed away from a sickness it was an uncertified disease, I didn't want you to grow up without a father, and I wouldn't be able to afford to pay rent if I had kept you, I told Miss Drail about the situation, she understood, she agreed to take you in until you turned ten, and also, happy tenth birthday kiddo! Rainbow dash finished the backstory then hugged Scootaloo. "Why did you keep this from me?" Scootaloo asked Rainbow Dash, she stared into her moms eyes, she had never acknowledged how beautiful they were they glimmered in the light, "I didn't want you to have the pain of knowing I'm your mom without being able to see me everyday after school and it would be bad for you to be separated from your mom.." Rainbow continued her long story. "I see, hmmmm, well it's okay! As long as I never get separated from you again, but I dunno, can I maybe still cam you Rainbow Dash?" Scoot asked her long lost mother, "heh, we'll see scoot!" Rainbow Dash petted her daughters head lightly. "Well Scootaloo, I invited your friends over and they've known since yesterday..." Pinkie said her first ever sentence that she had contributed in this conversation.

Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom rushed through the door furiously then ran up to Scootaloo and hugged her so tight she nearly suffocated, "ok, girls, I-i think that's enough!" Scootaloo struggled to say a whole sentence,

In the evening at Rainbow Dash's house

Rainbow Dash released the hug she had kept in for hours

"I love you mommy." Scootaloo whispered into her mothers ear, as soon as she hugged her,

"Same here kiddo!" Rainbow replied softly.
