As a set of perfectly aligned clouds crossed the sky just above the ground, they were suddenly erased from existence. And at the same time the clouds disintegrated, a cough could be heard from miles away. It came from Rainbow Dash, and Rainbow gripped her throat and hacked, practically choking herself on top of that. At last, a small piece of cloud finally released her from the hacking, and landed on the grass with a squishy 'thump'. Rainbow wiped the remaining saliva from her lips, and gagged.
"Last time I'm busting through five clouds at once," Rainbow noted to herself.
When she looked back up towards the blinding sun, she noticed how hot it had gotten.
She decided that when the heat becomes unbearable, she would go to Fluttershy's cottage. She had promised to help her move a bird house to... somewhere she couldn't remember as of now. But, in all honesty, Rainbow just wanted an excuse to see Fluttershy. Ever since last week, Rainbows heart had been having strange patterns for her best friend, and she knew it wasn't normal. It felt like, it was beating faster, at an uncomfortable speed.Well, she sometimes even found herself smelling Fluttershy's cherry scented mane. She didn't understand why she felt this way, but when she put two and two together, the clues added up to- having a crush. Rainbow couldn't tell completely, since she had never experienced it before. And, she couldn't just ask her friends, since her mother and father, and almost every other pony she knew, said that mares like colts, and colts like mares. But, colts just don't appeal to Rainbow in that way. Rainbow shrugged off her thoughts and snapped back to reality. When she did so, she realized how it had gotten a tad bit hotter, and just decided to go to Fluttershy's. She released her wings from her sides, and took off for her friend's cottage.
When she reached the cottage door, she could hear a clanging of pots inside. She hesitated to knock, not wanting to startle or disturb Fluttershy's dishwashing, or just Fluttershy in general. After the dishes stopped clanging and she heard the water stop, she knocked on the wooden door, just hard enough for Fluttershy to hear without getting startled. At about eight seconds into her knocking, the door swung open, and standing behind the opened door was Fluttershy, and she smashed Rainbow with her sweet smelling aura.
"Oh! Rainbow Dash? What are you doing here?" Fluttershy asked, surprised, but smiling anyways.
"Oh! Well, you see, I-I was just... around, and I decided to drop by! If, that's okay with you," Rainbow said, beginning to hesitate, but saving herself at the end.
Fluttershy's eyes looked left to right, seeming to be looking for something, but eventually landed back on Rainbow Dash.
"Oh, of coarse! I could use some help washing the dishes if you want to help?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yeah! Anything for you..." Rainbow said, admiring how gently Fluttershy's words soared, but then noticed how much that sounded like
something... lovey dovey.
"Uh! I-I mean, I can totally help out with that!" she blurted, beginning to walk inside, avoiding any other awkward conversation.
When she reached the living room, she looked around, seeing the teapots on the table, and the extra dented couch.
'Guess she must of just gotten done with a tea party with Discord...' Rainbow thought to herself.
"Boy, it sure is hot today," Fluttershy said, shutting the door and locking it, trapping the two inside the house.
Rainbow nodded, remembering the bird house excuse and how she hadn't used it, or even bothered to bring it up, but shrugged it off like she usually did to all her other stray thoughts. Fluttershy began to trot towards her kitchen, and Rainbow proceeded to follow. As they entered the kitchen finally, she saw dishes stacked onto the counter and table, just waiting to be washed. Rainbow cringed, and regretted her decision.
'Maybe I should'a gone to Applejack's...' Rainbow began to think, but found her head being turned around to face Fluttershy. When she saw the pretty yellow face tinted with pink, she remembered why she came over here instead.
"You know, I have some left over tea, maybe, we could have some before we start the dishes?" Fluttershy asked sheepishly.
Rainbow smiled (relieved), nodding "yes". Fluttershy returned the smile, reentering the living room. Rainbow followed close behind. When they got in the warmer room, she went towards Fluttershy, setting her rear on the pea green couch. Fluttershy took a seat next to her, the sun shining through the blinds, onto her mane. Rainbow noticed it when Fluttershy took a sip of tea, and thought it was beautiful, sparkling like Celestia's. A small hint of red crossed Rainbow's face. When Fluttershy's tea cup smashed down upon her plate, she looked to Rainbow. She was just... staring at her. The silence worried Rainbow, and Rainbow's eyes darted around the room, trying not to stare back. This continued for about, three minutes, but when she could fight it back no longer, she stared into Fluttershy's teal blue eyes. They were like poison, leaving Rainbow weak. She leaned closer to her friend, letting her body take over, and letting her mind relax. As the silence grew to the awkward type, Rainbow made it worse.
"F-Fluttershy? Can I kiss you?" Rainbow asked, but only just after the words escaped her mouth, had she realized what she said.
Her eyes widened, and a red blush spread across her face even more. She almost flew out of her seat when Fluttershy nodded "yes". Rainbow's eye flinched, and her mouth hung low, agape. She stared at her, and Fluttershy felt like Rainbow this time, getting her soul stared into. Rainbow just sat there, calculating, overflowing with joy as well. After a minute, Fluttershy broke the silence.
"I said you could, what are you waiting for?" Fluttershy whispered, her beautiful teal blue eyes becoming hidden by her eyelids.
Rainbow's eyes shut too, copying Fluttershy's movements, and was hesitating at first, leaning closer. She then leaned closer and closer, until she could feel Fluttershy's breath on her snout. She felt like she was about to make a mistake, but before she could pull back, Fluttershy made the move. Their lips locked, jolting Rainbow with a shock wave of joy. Her lips were soft and smooth, and sort of glossy. They tasted like cherries, like the way her mane smelled. Rainbow felt herself desire that cherry taste more, and realized her tongue was poking Fluttershy's lips. And with no warning, Fluttershy's tongue peeked out, only to practically pull Rainbow's inside her mouth. Their tongues intertwined, dancing with each other, taste buds too. After a few minutes of the wild, sloppy, kiss, they pulled apart. Although Rainbow loved the sensation, she needed to breath.
"So... was that your first kiss?" Fluttershy winked to Rainbow.
This caused Rainbow to blush even redder, but she eventually nodded "yes".
"Was it yours too? Although, I bet a pretty mare like you has been kissed lots of times," Rainbow smiled.
Fluttershy blushed this time, giggling. But, she nodded "yes" to the first kiss thing.
"I heard that second kiss is better," Fluttershy whispered.
Rainbow relaxed a bit as she leaned in for another.

Hello FiMFiction! I just wanted to try out a FlutterDash (Fluttershy x Rainbow Dash) fan fiction. =P. I know, it may not be the best, but, I was bored and inspired, so I was like-
"Screw it, I'm gonna write a Flutterdash fanfic!"
To be honest, that's how most of my stories are born. xD
