Yet Another Halo-MLP Crossover
Teaser
Load Full StoryBegins right after the events of the first mission of Halo: CE
“We’re pulling into the atmosphere. Brace for landing.”
Second Lieutenant SPARTAN Mk. III Cameron Murphy found himself in an escape pod, heading toward the first Halo. Little known fact was that he was the only other SPARTAN that survived Reach. He got Cortana, shot down a Covenant battle cruiser, and jumped on the Pelican at the last second. The Covenant followed the Pillar of Autumn to Halo, and this was the last escape pod.
“Landing in T minus 5,”
He didn’t know if he would survive. He didn’t care. For all he knew, Master Chief would be taking all of the glory.
“4,”
“3,”
He didn’t have any family, at least that he remembered. He was born on Reach 25 years before the invasion. He’s 25, now.
“2,”
“1! Brace for impact!”
All he remembers is a bone-jarring crash, and blacking out.
The eight foot tall blue armored SPARTAN woke up to see that everyone but him had died on the landing. That’s fine and dandy, he told himself. Might as well grab some weapons and ammo.
As he climbed out, he looked at his surroundings. He didn’t remember the holo-map showing a dense forest like this one. Only mountains and plains. Interesting, he thought to himself. He heard a rustle in the bushes. He lifted his battle rifle, set it on semi-automatic, and pointed it where the noise came from. He saw a pair of eyes staring at him, studying him. He readied his rifle, just in case. After that, the pair of eyes disappeared, and reappeared after what looked like a pony stepped from the bushes. What the hell? Then after a few seconds, a second one came out! Then a third, a fourth, a fifth, and finally a sixth. (I bet you can guess who the sixth was!) Hell, there were even two pegasi and two unicorns. I must be hallucinating.
The rainbow-maned cyan pegasus stared at him, and said "Are you a spy?" This SPARTAN had heard that word, and he took it as a threat. He pointed his weapon as the thing approached him, and when she got near him, he threw a punch. In retaliation, the pegasus tried to tackle him. He pointed his weapon, but it was too late. The pony struck him, and bounced off like a plush toy.
He pointed his rifle at the rest of them, and spoke. “Stand down, or I will be forced to open fire.”
For all he knew, these were some new Covenant experiments.
The purple unicorn said, “Fire? There’s no fire. What are you?” They sounded like they were trying to interrogate him. I’m not breaking. He fired a warning shot at the purple one’s feet. They all jumped back at this. “Stand down,” he says, in his best commanding voice. “Stand down, or I will be forced to open fire.” The orange one sporting a Stetson galloped up and tried to buck him. He picked her up by her leg and threw her at a nearby tree, running for the escape pod to close the doors and wait for backup.
He got to the escape pod, closed the hatch, and turned on the radio. “Command, this is Second Lieutenant Cameron Murphy. Potential hostile forces nearby. Request for backup. Emergency beacon online.” The only reply was the crackle of static. He tried over and over, but to no avail. He saw one of the ponies looking through the plasma-proof 2-inch thick glass, and she saw him. I’m a SPARTAN. I can defend myself from an army of Covenant if I have to. Get out there and show them who’s boss. He climbed out of the hatch, and saw the ponies staring at him. He pulled out his combat knife and swung for the marshmallow-colored unicorn, missing her by a centimeter. He thrust his way through the creatures and ran. They galloped after him, and he suddenly felt a mild static shock feeling envelop him, and a purplish magenta aura surround him. He fought it, and broke free, running once more. He once turned around to fire at the pursuing creatures with his sidearm, but missing every shot. He didn’t have time to fire any more rounds, so he ran. He came to the edge of a cliff, and stopped dead. The fall wouldn’t kill him, but it would probably slow him down a great deal. He turned around, and saw the creatures facing him. His on-board helmet computer couldn’t identify what they were, but they looked like ponies to him.
“Who are you!?” the purple unicorn yelled at him. She used that energy again, trying to trap him, and lift him. Due to his combined weight of 2,000 pounds, he was able to break free. Unnerved, the unicorn shot what looked like a magenta plasma blast at him, which his energy shielding just deflected like it was nothing. “He’s powerful if that didn’t affect him,” she remarked. She stepped closer and I pulled my sidearm. “DON’T MOVE! I WILL SHOOT!” She stepped even closer, and I fired a warning shot that grazed her right foreleg. She yelped in pain, and I ran through them, trying to escape once more. This time, they didn’t pursue me.
I went straight for the pod again, closed the hatch, covered up the windows, and turned on the emergency light. Where the hell am I? The holo-map didn’t show this area at all. Whatever those things are, I must avoid them. He grabbed a first aid kit, and headed north. When he got out of the forest, he found himself looking at a town with even more of the pony-like creatures. There was even what looked like guards, in old medieval-type armor. More!? Great. He ran like there was no tomorrow through the town, eliciting odd looks from the creatures. The “guards” galloped after him, trying to detain him. Several of them tried using the energy field to try to stop him, but there was no use. 3 of them tackled him, which was enough to bring him down. “Stop!” one yells. I throw them off, get up, and run once more. All of the guards fire plasma bolts, and each hit brings my shielding meter down by a millimeter. My shields finally break, and one of the gurads hits me with a knock out spell, and I hit the ground, out cold.
I wake up in a cell, a prison cell to be exact. My weapons are sitting on a table, right across from my cell, so I assume I’m in one of those police stations with jail cells in them. The iron bars are thin, and I waste no time in ripping them out of their foundations. I grab my weapons and run and eventually meet resistance. It’s a pony twice as tall as the rest, with a flowing mane and tail, and a horn that’s 2 feet long. She’s also got pegasus wings. I’ll be damned, an alicorn! She has a crown, so I assume she’s the ruler of wherever this place is.
“You have caused chaos and terror in Ponyville. Identify yourself!” she says with a booming royal voice. This one actually manages to trap me, but the effort is obviously tiring her. Interrogation, eh? I’m not breaking. I go through standard procedure.
“Second Lieutenant Cameron Murphy, Alpha Team, ID Beta-Two-Zero-Niner-Niner.” I reply.
She looks at me, puzzled. A crowd has started to gather by now.
“Who and what are you?” she repeats.
“Second Lieutenant Cameron Murphy, Alpha Team, ID Beta-Two-Zero-Niner-Niner.” I repeat yet again. I see she’s starting to sweat from the sheer amount of effort in trapping a 2,000 pound super soldier. I take this as an opportunity, and start trying to break free.
“Where do you come from?” she asks.
“Planet Reach.” She’s noticeably getting tired, and I finally start to loosen up.
"Why are you here?", she asks.
"I honestly have no damn idea." she holds me there for a few more minutes, obviously thinking of some more questions. She's sweating profusely by now, and I can pretty much move freely inside the aura now.
She collapses from all of that work, and I pull out my combat knife and pin her to the ground, holding the knife to her neck. "The question is, why am I here? What the hell is this place? Why am I not on Halo!?" he asks angrily.
“This is Equestria,” she replied. “What is this ‘Halo’ you speak of?”
“It’s nothing you need to know. Now, tell me, how in the hell did I get here!?”
“I honestly do not know. As the ruler of Equestria, I demand you get off of me!” I climb off of her, put my knife away, and look down at this pathetic excuse for a ruler. If she can’t so much as freeze me for a few minutes and she rules this place, that means I could take over on my own. Not that I intend to, though. He looked around, and saw the horrified faces of the ponies around him. They weren’t Covenant; that he was sure of now. He walked back to the forest, to go see if he could repair the escape pod to aid him getting off of this planet. “Wait!”
He turned around to see one of the ponies staring at him. “Aren’t you at least going to tell us what you are?”
“I’m a SPARTAN.” And with that, he turned around and kept walking.
So, how was it? I have no idea if I should continue it or not. If you guys enjoy this, tell me in the comments and I just might continue it.
