changing the past to save the future

Nine years ago twilight died but returned diffrent it was reveled she had taken in a soul of pure evil in order to return alive but she couldent control it and it started to take over so she left but in here absence and with most of the elements dead equestria fell into ruin and was destroyed only three pegasi survived. By taking shelter in a old temple where they saw details of the past  of the events leading up to what happend and they relized there was a way to change it by using a forbidden spell to go back in time to undo the events but at a cost the life of two innocents would open the path to a being that could help unknown to the eldest while he slept hes sisters preformed the ritual

The stallion groans as he gets up looking around he sees a creture made of blue flames.

What are you? were am i?

My name is Reaver as to where you are this is my realm now tell me what do u require of me.

The stallion looks at the creture tears forming in hes eyes as he relizes where he is and how he got there before looking at the creture.

Reaver ive herd that name before its the name of a demon of legend a peace keeper of the balence and a devouer of souls.

my name is Redsopine Prism Dash Im here because we i mean i need your help Equestria has fallen theres nothing left but death and sand i need your help to undo this evil to save my home but in order to do so i need the power to clense evil from souls.

"Are you sure about this, mortal? The power you request requires a sacrifice are you willing to do this?" asks the rever demon floating in a realm filled with souls as the stallion nods. "Then so be it. I hereby grant you the power to cleanse pure evil souls from others, but be warned: you can only do it twice."

"I understand, Reaver you think i would be here if i didant my sisters gave there lives to send me here i will do what ever it takes to help them in anyway i can." The rever places two swords and a pendent in front of red as he puts them on rever speaks "Use these items go now to save Equestria and return the peace." A portal appears and begins to suck in the stallion.

"Thank you, my friend" , He sees two mares appear next to the demon, Treble Crimson screams,  "No no no! Why? Just why?!"

The mares stay silent but smile sadly as the give him two crystal pendants one which shatters in half as he goes through the portal.

"Goodbye brother" was all he heard before flying out of the portal.

Redsopine lands hard on hes wing on a rocky outcrop

"Ow that hurt, where am I?" I questioned to myself as my eyes became clear.

"Whos there where am I? " I say out loud as I hear a familiar voice.

"That voice, it can't be" I wondered to myself as I begin to remember where I've heard that voice before.

"Princess Twilight is that you?" Red stands up and looks around, he sees the princess but she looked awful, her wings which are normally silky and pure black, were now just bones. She also had a huge hole in her chest, that he could see clearly through.

"Who are you, where am i?" asks Twilight

Confused as she sees Red standing near her.

My name's Redsopine and as to where we are princess, I dont know, but we should move to a more secure location. Can u walk? He asks curiously.

"Yes i can walk" Twillight says then she stands up slowly. "lets get going and find out where we are" she says enthisaticly

"Yes princess" this must be when twilight first awoken when she died. He thought to himself as they walked

"Say your a odd stallion, I mean who walks on two legs or carrys swords on there back?" inquired Twilight.

Some pony on a mission to gurad you" Red replyed in a soft gentle voice.

"Ok why?" She asked curriously and confused.

Red Sighs before saying  "look princess this may be hard for you to hear, but your dead right now, this place is the realm of the dead."

Twilight looks shocked then replys "What I'm not dead theres no way im dead." twilight starts to panic and looks around her while hyperventilating.

"yes you are, have a look around you.  Theres pools of blood everywhere, your wings are missing and a hole in you. " Twilight looks where Red points before she screams, falling into a pool of blood.  Red sighs and dives in after her he struggled to pulled her to the surface but he managed to in the end.

"Princess please calm down." Red says softly as he trys to calm her down.

She keeps thrashing then Red loses his temper and shouts "Stop thrashing now!"

Twilight stops thrashing and looks at Red "Ok explain how the hell you know this stuff" she says in an tempered way.

Red uses his free hoof to drag himself and Twilight to shore "ok I'm not from your time, well technically I am, but I'm from nine years in the future. Look events are happening that can't be changed

completely but right now I'm not ment to be here to help you" he explains to her before saying. "Go down this path untill you see a gate, I will be behind you. I'm not ment to be here I can't actively interfeare with some events. I will guard you, only when I am able two."

Twilight nods " I will play along,  this has to be a prank by luna, only she could create something so outlandish as all this but i will play along." She says in her head not believing she was dead.

Redsopine nods aswel. "so be it princess I will keep watch from up there." he points to a hill and starts to carefully climb it.

That is one crazy stallion " thinks twilight as she starts to move forward.

Red lets out a sigh" Phew she thinks im joking or that im crazy eaither way im keeping a eye on her to make sure shes safe.

The pendents arounds Reds neck glow as hes pulled back to equestria just as sunset arrives through the portal " AHHH CRAP " he lands on sunset with a loud poomf.

Owwww that hurt Was the last thought Red had before passing out.
