Chapters Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy thought about it for a long time,and they finally decided on adopting a baby or a toddler to care for.really expensive.We need a crib a changing table-" Fluttershy was cut off.was herself,the person who always boasts."It'll be a breeze!"
"I'll have to think about it." Fluttershy needed to go home,and calculate her savings.These next few weeks were going to be stressful.
Fluttershy and Rainbow were walking out with a,newborn, sleeping Scootaloo,in a car seat,it was pink,with lime green cushioning and a lime green blanket.They were about to put it in the car.
"How do I... huh?Flutters how do you get this thing on the seat?"
"Umm... read the directions?" Fluttershy was almost as confused as Rainbow.
Rainbow finally got the car seat buckled up facing the back of the seat,admiring her work ."now I just need to buckle you i-" Rainbow paused in awe.She looked at the child's face.She opened her majenta eyes."Wow!Her eyes look like mine!"Rainbow touched her on the nose,which made her giggle.
Later when they got home,it was quiet,despite Angel and Tank,who usually made lots of noise,maybe they just knew there was another presence in the huse.One they had to be quiet around,for now.They had a two story house with multiple rooms,one especially for Scootaloo.
"I'll take Scootaloo up stairs." Fluttershy looked down the stairs for the approval of Rainbow."She might need a diaper change."
Fluttershy didn't need to whisper,her voice was the softest, quietest voice that anyone has ever heard.Even when she yelled,it was still quiet enough for you to sleep through.
Fluttershy sat Scootaloo on the changing table.Fluttershy couldn't believe how small she was!She looked like she was born premature.It didn't look like they fed her much.Fluttershy took off her wet diaper,and that's when she started to cry.Fluttershy looked through the drawers of the changing table,and found a purple pacifier,and put it in her mouth.Fluttershy had no idea how those worked.Fluttershy continued to wipe her hind quarters and put another diaper on her bottom,making sure it was snug.
Fluttershy lay Scootaloo in her crib.It was a pink with a lime green blanket and pillow case.All f Scootaloo's furniture matched."Good night Scotaloo!"Fluttershy spun Scootaloo's butterfly mobile,with the tune 'rock-a-by baby' playing.
Time : 3:45 AM.
Rainbow woke up to the sound,she rubbed her eyes.She then looked at the clock seeing it was so early.She put on some sweat pants with her blue tank top,walked into the nursery and went to Scootaloo.She didn't smell anything so she decided it was time to feed her."This is going to take a while to get used to."Rainbow whisper talked,it was the middle of the night.Rainbow went to the kitchen,got the bottle she prepared earlier,and heated it up.She wished she could make some coffee right about now...
She couldn't believe she was a mom now!She just hoped that her and Fluttershy wouldn't get judged by what their family looked like.Rainbow got in the bed,and just when she got comfortable,the baby started crying again."

Well,I've improved this story(in my opinion)so whenever I read it,I won't feel weirdd knowing I wrote this...I also made more things make sence,so maybe this will get more like than dislikes.
About a month later...
Fluttershy and Rainbow enjoyed watching Scootaloo play with the pets.They wished she was able to move,so she could go with the pets everywhere.
Rainbow liked putting Scootaloo on Tank,as long as he wasn't flying with her on his back.She didn't see why Fluttershy worried about it.Tank is a turtle for goodness sake!
"Flutters do you think it's about time we go on vacation?"Rainbow was getting anxious."I've been wanting to celebrate!"
"Hmm...that sounds fun,but do we even know where we want to go?
"I was thinking Japan!I hear they have amazing food !"
"Is it really reasonable to travel all the way to Japan,for food."Fluttershy had a bland look on her face.
Scootaloo was on her play mat over hearing their conversation."I think I like Japan...I like food! " Scootaloo imagined everyone in Japan giving her milk.She had an interesting imagination.
"Hey Tanky,A, come here!"The animals were the only ones who could understand what Scootaloo was saying"Here!My mommies are saying we're going to Japan!There's food ?"Scootaloo still didn't know how to sit up,so Angel and Tank had to look down at her.(FYI 'A' is Scootaloo's nick name for Angel and 'Tanky' was her nick name for Tank.)
Angel imagined it too,all the salad in the world,drool came out of his mouth."Hey!Stop it!"Angel wiped his spit away from his moth."I dunno Scoots.That doesn't really make sense!"
"Doesn't that sound amazing to you!?" Tank shrugged his shoulders.
"One sec."Tank flew next their bedroom door's frame,and he could hear the conversation clearly.
"Location distance problems." Tank had an outstanding vocabulary seeing as Rainbow's his owner,but now that Fluttershy co-owns him,you could say that way,she taught him how to talk correctly.
"Ugh!English please!" Scootaloo had no idea what he just said.
"Oops.I mean they might not be able to go...I guess?Maybe somewhere else though!"
"Oh." Scootaloo remembered image in her head.Maybe they'd have more food where they are going...
Meanwhile....
"I'm sorry too Fluttershy." Rainbow had a huge smile on her face."So we're still doing the trip!?"
"Yes....But we are not going to Japan for the food!" Fluttershy had her sense of humor back.
"I'll go pack, you can get some rest for the next few hours."
hours and hours later
"I think Scoots should sleep in our bed,that way we can leave first thing in the morning." Fluttershy thought that was a good idea,that way Fluttershy could take Scootaloo straight to the back of the car,and take care of her in the back seat of the car.
*Squeak squeak!* "*gasp*Angel Bunny watch your language!No treats for a day!" Angel squeaked again,and jumped off the bed."I don't think he wants to get up early!"Rainbow chuckled.
"Oh well either way,he has to!"Fluttershy chuckled back.
"I love you Flutters!" Fluttershy kissed Rainbow."I love you more!" Rainbow said playfully,kissing her back.
"Why me? " Scootaloo hated mushy stuff.
The next day
Scootaloo woke up in her car seat,but she couldn't see anything because she was facing the seat the whole time"I have to be like this for a whole year!?Gosh I hate car seats....!Well I guess mommy's asleep" soon came a bump that definitely shook her fully awake."So I can't wake myself up,can I?" The bump awoke Fluttershy too.
"Where's the closest Starbucks, Rainbow?" Fluttershy thought it was about time they both had a coffee.
"There's traffic,so probably in the next 20 or 30 minutes."Fluttershy was about to put Scootaloo back into her car seat,when Scootaloo hung onto her neck.She wanted to look out the window.
Fluttershy decided let her stay,as she slowly dozed off.Scootaloo eventually fell asleep,because the only thing she could see were cars....."Ugh,this is going to be one long car ride" Fluttershy's heart was slow and steady,helping her sleep easier."I like this..."

"Gah!" What happened!?"
"Sorry Scoots."Rainbow apologized"Turbulence."
"What's with people and not using english!?"
Scootaloo looked around.Rainbow patted the little hair she had."Whatever this 'turbulence' thing is,it sure is bumpy!"
Scootaloo stretched,kicking her legs out.The smell in this place was weird.
Scootaloo was in her car seat,a blanket wrapped around her,and her pacifier in her mouth."What is that?I wish I could look!" Scootaloo was next to the window,her head tilted to the side.She had no idea what colors were,really she didn't what know anything was yet, she was still counted as a newborn,so she hadn't learned much .One of the only things she paid attention to,were her parents.
PA:"We're coming in for a landing,the flight is almost done!If you look to the left you see beautiful palm trees!Thanks for flying American Airlines!"
"Trees?" Scootaloo was very confused.
"Come on,let's go find Fluttershy."You could tell Rainbow was tired,just from hearing her voice.
They exited the plane."Welcome to Florida,Scoots!"
The light burned her eyes even when the extendable hood on her car seat was pulled down."Oh!Let me pull that down some more!"Rainbow pulled it down as much as she could.Then there wasn't any sunlight flooding in."Ah.This is the life.Nice and comfy!
Rainbow put an extra blanket on top of her car seat,just to make sure her skin was protected.
"Hey Flutters!"Rainbow waved"Hi Rainbow!How's Scootaloo,was she being good on the plane?"
"She was fine!She slept most of the ride!"Rainbow was grateful for that.
"No crying whatsoever?"
"Nope!"
"No diaper changes"
"....Maybe.....I should've checked." Fluttershy wasn't worried,she was worried about Scootaloo getting a diaper rash!"I'll change her in the restroom,and we can leave and go to our hotel.
About an hour later....
"Hungry again!?We need to get you bigger bottles!"Fluttershy pulled out a bottle,from the baby bag."Hey Angle,Tank stop fighting!"Tank and Angle were fighting again! Over a toy too."I had it first!"Tank pleeded
"I stole it first!" Scootaloo looked back at the corner of her eyes,facing him,and narrowed them.Just to give Angel the message to give it back.Angel walked away,hanging his head,and gave the toy back
"Angel,you're on your way to time-out mister!" Angel looked around the corner,and stuck his tongue out at Fluttershy.
"Rainbow how long were we planning to stay here?"
"......."
"Rainbow?" Fluttershy looked at Rainbow,she was fast asleep."Boy,you've got the right idea!"Fluttershy put Scootaloo on the bed.Just being fed, Scootaloo was already dozing.
Fluttershy lay her down,putting her pacifier in her mouth."Good night,sweetie!" Fluttershy put the blanket over her little body,and sang Scootaloo her short,but famous lullaby.
"See you later my love."
The Bahamas
The next day....
Scootaloo was dressed in her purple one piece swimming suit.
"Ready to go to the beach, darling?" Fluttershy picked Scootaloo up.Going out the door."Do you have the key to the door,Dash?"
"Yup,right in my pocket."Rainbow patted the pocket the key was in.She was wearing a T-shirt and a pair of khaki shorts over her swimming suit,while Fluttershy just wore a plain dress.
At the beach....
The beach was beautiful!The waves crashed on the beach shore,and the palm trees swayed in the breeze.Before fluttershy could even look,as quick as that,Rainbow was already in the water.
"Woohoo!Canon ball!"
Fluttershy lay out the beach towel along with a cooler filled with soda,water,and sandwiches.
Fluttershy decided that she would let Scootaloo in the water.So she went ahead and put some sunscreen on Scootaloo,even theough she didn't like it.
"Lets go to the water,Scoots!"Fluttershy took her dress off,and brought Scootaloo into the shallow end of the water with her.
"Why do they always do this to me!?" Scootaloo was having mixed feelings.She had never been in water before.
"Well it's not that bad!" Sccootaloo had her first laugh.It was one of those moments that Fluttershy and Rainbow would never forget!Scootaloo was smiling with her gummy smile.All Fluttershy could think of was when Scootaloo had teeth,she would look so much different!But some things never change.Like how much Fluttershy and Rainbow would never stop loving her,no matter what.
Fluttershy decided it was probably best to go ahead and take pictures for the memories.But every picture she took,Scootaloo was crying in it.
Hours later......
"Hey Tank!"Rainbow picked Tank up."Were you a good boy?"Rainbow pinched his cheek,as a slow,but adorable,smile came upon his face.
"I dunno,"Angel waved his paws in the air."I say something,she does it.It's always been that way!You're just not important enough for her to spoil you !"
"Hey!"Scootaloo was starting to tear up."That wasn't nice!"
"They have to feed you,and then you just throw up afterwards.Then you need a diaper changes!That's disgusting !All of it!"
"I can't help it!I'm a baby!"
" 'I'm a baby!I'm a baby!' "Angel used his paw to gesture him mimicking her."That's all you say!You'll be a baby your whole life!"
"You're always angry!"Scootaloo was getting bored of Angel be annoying."That's all he does "
"Bath time!"Rainbow picked up scootaloo,taking her cloths off."I just hope you don't pee,this isn't our house y'know!Not that I'd want to clean it anyway"
"whatever,I'm a baby,it's not like I can feel it!" Scootaloo paused"Maybe Angel was right!I always use that excuse!"
"They're okay..." Scootaloo's attention was only on the bubbles."I just wish I could touch 'em without them going 'bye-bye' when you do! Scootaloo stared in awe,she never thought there would be such a thing,this amazing !If only it could last forever!Well Scootaloo thought wrong!
After the bath...
"Calm down Scootaloo!"Rainbow was holding Scootaloo in a towel,as she was about to lay her down,so she could put some pajamas on her."I'm just taking you out of the bath!"Rainbow already tried the pacifier a few times,but every time,she'd spit it out.
"Hey Flutters.How about,I go, and you take care of the baby?"Before Fluttershy could answer,Rainbow was already in the bathroom getting ready to take a shower.Leaving Fluttershy with her finger in the air,and her mouth open about to say something.And a crying Scootaloo too.
Once Scootaloo was in Fluttershy's arms,she stopped crying after a second.Fluttershy just had some sort of charm!this onesie!"It was a onesie,with footies on it.It also had a butterfly,with small marks behind it,symbolizing that it was flying in loopty-loops.
Scootaloo was looking tired.Just as Fluttershy's lullaby said,she definitely had an exciting day!This was going to be one exciting vacation!
Scootaloo slowly drifted off to sleep,planning on being a nuisance to her parents in the middle of the night,with Fluttershy watching over her,smiling.
2 Years later...
"No!"Scootaloo was on the floor with her arms crossed,throwing a temper tantrum."I don't wanna!"
"It's just a potty!"Rainbow was holding a potty-chair in her hand.
"Wow,I sure do feel bad!" Rainbow would hate putting her child through this,but there was no other way.
"Shouldn't we just get it over with?"
"Well she not going to do it,she too tired." Fluttershy picked Scootaloo up.She made an angry face at Rainbow,sucking her thumb."Yeah I tired!"
"I don't want to hear it Rainbow,she growing!She needs her sleep!"10 minutes after her bedtime."Rainbow complained."She can stay up a little longer!"
Rainbow came up and whispered in Fluttershy's ear.
"Y'know maybe we shouldn't potty train her!" Fluttershy faked.Scootaloo believed it though.She opened up her hands so she could see a little,Then a smile came upon her face.
"Yay!Thank you mommy!"Scootaloo jumped off her bed and hugged her parents.
It was time for breakfast.Rainbow made pancake,Scootaloo's favorite breakfast!
"Breakfast!Breakfast!"Scootaloo came running into the kitchen.
Scootaloo was almost done with her breakfast,when suddenly,her eyes went wide.She noticed she was on the chair,and she broke out crying.
"Off!Off!Off!"Scootaloo jumped off the potty,as if a big tarantula was crawling on her leg.
"I don't see anything!"
Scootaloo pointed at the potty."Lookit!There's a potty on the chair!"not see that!?"Rainbow picked up the potty chair."I'll give it a shot later."
30 minutes later...
"T.V.!T.V.!"Scootaloo jumped up and down.She was addicted to 'Dora the Explorer'.It's almost like she knew exactly when it came on!
The theme song came on,and Fluttershy decided to come up with an excuse not to listen to it.
"Mommy's going to the bathroom,so you stay here and watch T.V."
Fluttershy was about to go to the bathroom,until the pitter-patter of Scootaloo's feet caught her attention.
Every know and them Fluttershy would see Scootaloo put her hand,or her foot in the crack of the door.
Scootaloo decided to sit down on the potty with her pants down.Fluttershy thought she just wanted to sit somewhere,she didn't see her pants down.
Until Scootaloo got up,pulled her pants up,and pointed at her potty.
Fluttershy looked at the potty,when her eyes turned wide,her pupils the size of pin.
Rainbow was sleeping on the couch,with a pillow on her face.Even if she was awake,she still wouldn't go into the bathroom when someone else was in there.Who does that?
Fluttershy came running to Rainbow,shaking her awake.
When Rainbow saw what happened,she lifted Scootaloo in the air,and spun her around.
"We have such a big girl!"Rainbow sat her back down,and gave her a sucker.
