Heat Struck

You walk slowly into the library, your guitar playing sorrowful music above your head. You hear the whispers of your friends, which forces you to come out with the painful news.

"Guys. They got Matrix..." As you fight back the manly tears, you decide to let them in on the info you heard just before escaping. "I've also learnt their next targets." You look up at Cyclone and Frost who are holding each other in embrace, crying on one and others shoulder.

"Frost, Cyclone... I'm sorry. You're their next victims." The two instantly stop crying and look at you with fear struck eyes. "But, I'm not gonna let them get to you, I promise."

"Hey, all sad stuff aside, I think I found a switch to turn off the barrier." The mood is instantly killed as Jumper casually points towards a nearby switch. It indeed said 'BARRIER BUTTON' with a big large button below it. Before you could even say anything, you see Flare launch his hoof at the button.

Silence.

Suddenly, a loud siren sounds and you look outside the window, to indeed find the barrier fading away. Yet, there was another sound that grabbed your attention. It was like somepony was screaming your name. Then, it hits you. You slowly turn your head to see the mare all headed your way... Plus one? Is that.... MATRIX!? OH CRAP, HAS HE JOINED THEM!?

"GUYS, WE'VE GOT TO GO. NOW!" You yell at your group of friends. You see Frost and Cyclone look at each other, then nod, and they step in front of everypony else.

"We'll buy you some time. GET OUTTA HERE, GO!" As Frost shouts back at you, you can't help but notice a single tear roll from his eye. "It's been an honor, Red." As those final words pass by you, you an odd sensation drag you out of the backdoor.

"So, Cyclone. This is where we make our final stand." Frost stares towards the locked door. "They'll be here soon..."

"Then lets go out with a bang." Cyclone slowly floats into the air and looks straight at the door. His eyes begin to glow and violent gust of wind begin spinning in a sphere around him. As Frost stood and watched the spectacle, he too, began floating in the air, his mane and tail beginning to glow blue and his wings a blinding light.

"Three."

"Two..."

"ONE!!" The blast full pelt at the door, making it come of the hinges, catching the mares off guard and forcing them to screech to a halt.

"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGEEEEEEE!!!!!!!"

As you make your way out of Ponyville, you see a blinding light cover the whole of the town, almost as an explosion, and for a split second, you see Frost and Cyclone glowing in an amazing light, before you're pulled away by Emerald. Everything slows down, and you find yourself struggling to break free of Flare's grip, trying to find you fallen friends. The sound of your own shouting drowns any other sounds. DAMN IT! NO! WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY DO!?

Finally, you black out.
