Twisted Fate

After Discord learns about the fate set for Equestria, he can't help but do something drastic. After all, Fate and Chaos are like water and oil; they'll never get along. Let's see what happens when an extra character is introduced at the beginning!

After learning of other worlds and setting out to explore a few, Discord learns of the plans fate has for Equestria. However, if there's one's thing the Chaotic creature doesn't like it's Fate. He could easily win the fight if he tried, defeating the two alicorns. Or he could just not show up to the showdown. That would work too.

Or he could put to use the things he's learned on his trip. How a single person can change the course of fate. Perhaps, just perhaps, adding an extra cog to the machine of history will alter its course in a way not even he could anticipate?

Oh, the possibilities are as endless as the chaos that would be wrought!

Fair warning, this idea wouldn't leave me alone, so like many others I had to write it out. Read at your own peril. I for one enjoyed it.
