There was a concert in Ponyville. Posters were placed all round the town. However, the only people that are seen are Vinyl Scratch, Octavia, and Lyra Heartstrings. There was a person in the middle of the poster, however there was a question mark on the person's face. Making it a mystery character.

The mane six began talking about the concert. The entire city of Ponyville began talking about it. What else was new was that the princesses Celestia and Luna were invited. Twilight's brother, Shining Armor and his wife Princess Cadence were also invited, as well as the Wonderbolts.

Twilight came to the house of Vinyl Scratch and Octavia, only to find out that they weren't there. Probably at the stadium rehearsing or something.

It was almost time for the concert. The stadium was packed.  The princesses and royal people stood at the top of the stadium. The audience were talking continuously until the show would start. Eventually it did.

Vinyl, Octavia, and Lyra showed up. They played their instruments for a bit, entertaining the audience. But it disappointed the royals as they waited for the main event.

Just then a figure showed up. To the audience, he looked weird and it freaked them out a bit as he dressed in a colorful suit. The figure walked up to the microphone and began speaking. "Hello Everyone." The figure spoke. " My name is David Bowie, you probably know of me as the strange figure in the poster. Well, I'm the figure, and I already told you my name. But you can call me Ziggy Stardust."

The audience was both weirded out and both amazed. The royals however, enjoyed what they were hearing. David Bowie spoke again, "Here's a little song I wrote. I call it Starman."

David began playing his guitar. He quickly put the audience in awe with the way he played it.  Just then, he began to sing.

"Didn't know what time it was and the

lights were low."

"I leaned back on my radio"

"Some cat was layin' down and some rock 'n'

roll 'lotta soul, he said"

"Then the loud sound did seem to fade"

"Came back like a slow voice on a wave of

phase"

"That weren't no D.J. that was hazy

cosmic jive"

Although the song had just begun, The audience really began to like it. However, as the chorus came along, th audience really began to like it.

"There's a starman waiting in the sky"

"He'd like to come and meet us"

"But he thinks he's blow our minds"

(Octavia then began to sing the chorus with David)

"There's a starman waiting in the sky"

"He's told us not to blow it"

" 'Cause he know it's all worthwhile"

"He told me"

"Let the children loose it"

"Let the children use it"

"Let all the children boogie"

David then began his guitar solo. It thrills the audience as they cheer for how amazing it is. Vinyl Scratch rocked the drums, thrilling the audience even more. Just then, David began singing again.

"I had to phone someone so I picked on

you"

"Hey, that's far out so you heard him too"

"Switch on the TV we may pick him up on

Channel Two"

"Look out your window I can see his light

"If we can sparkle he may land tonight

"Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked

up in fright"

The audience really began to like the song. Just then, David began singing again.

"There's a starman waiting in the sky"

"He'd like to come and meet us"

"But he thinks he'd blow our minds"

(This time, both Lyra and Octavia began singing the chorus)

"There's a starman waiting in the sky"

"He's told us not to blow it"

" 'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile"

"He told me"

"Let the children lose it"

"Let the children use it"

"Let all the children boogie"

The whole band began to sing.

"Starman waiting in the sky"

"He'd like to come and meet us"

"But he thinks he'd blow our minds"

"There's a starman waiting in sky"

"He's told us not to blow it"

" 'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile"

"He told me"

"Let the children loose it"

"Let the children use it"

Let all the children boogie"

"Let the children boogie"

David and his band began playing their instruments. The audience fell in love with the song and they loved the strange lyrics. David and the band began singing the chorus of the sung.

"La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la"

"La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la"

"La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la"

"La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la"

The song was over, and the audiene was cheering nonstop. David enjoyed singing the song. It felt good. He was ready to do his next one.
