Chapter 1
Revelations

[Location… Ponyville/ Sugarcube Corner] Midnight during ‘party of one’ episode…

“Please don’t do it!” Said Rainbow Dash with tears in her eyes as she begged for her life. She was strapped down on a table in the secret basement of Sugarcube Corner.

She just recently woke up… All because her friends tried to make a surprise party for her best friend Pinkie Pie and by the look of it she took it the wrong way… true, it was Dash's own fault for running away and hiding from Pinkie Pie, after all it's a surprise party and she didn’t want her friend to find it out so soon.

Later that day Rainbow Dash volunteered to bring Pinkie Pie to the party she and her friends worked so hard on it… The last thing she remembered was eating a cupcake Pinkie Pie offered to her when she came to pick her up… Now she is in deep trouble…

Everything was dark in the basement… only Dash and the shadow of her executioner could be seen by the dim light of a single candle.

“Scream all you want Dash, no one will come and save you. The cakes headed out just a few hours ago. Now let’s collect those precious wings.” Said the executioner now exposed by the light of the candle revealing Pinkie Pie the party planner pony of Ponyville.

With hacksaw in hoof Pinkie Pie was about to cut the wings of her ex-best friend only to hear something from upstairs…

“Dash! Pinkie! Are you guys in here? Why didn't you come to the party?” Applejack's voice could be heard.

“HELP!!” Said Dash with all her might. As soon as she alerted her friend, by the sound of it, it didn’t took it long to find the secret entrance: hoof steps could be heard rushing downstairs.

Pinkie Pie in fear of get caught, extinguished the candle and with hacksaw still in hoof she waited for her victims to enter in the dark where she will murder them without they knowing. The sooner the better so she can go back to play with Rainbow Dash…

Her plan failed so easily by the glowing horns of two unicorns that followed Applejack downstairs, their names are Twilight and Rarity. Behind them was a pegasus named Fluttershy.

All the intruders were stunned by the sight of the secret basement. The room looked like a party from tartarus because of the decorations they saw, they were made out of pony skin and guts… Hell the smell is just as terrible as the sight.

Pinkie Pie was in a corner with her favorite hacksaw.

“Rainbow… Pinkie… What is going on here?…” Said Applejack with fear in her voice, she was terrified by the sight.

“Pinkie has gone crazy! She was about to cut my wings!” Said Rainbow Dash as she was released from the table thanks to Fluttershy.

“Is that true sugar cube?…” Said Applejack to Pinkie Pie who's face could make a psycho scream. Pinkie Pie's answer was charging Applejack with her hacksaw.

Applejack was frozen in fear… Only to find Pinkie Pie stopped in time by the purple magical glow of Twilight. Now Pinkie Pie was disarmed and floating in the room, she squirmed trying to fight the magic that was holding her.

“Applejack! Don’t just stand there! Tide her!” Said Twilight, as she tried to keep Pinkie Pie in place.

Applejack no longer frozen in fear grabbed her lasso that she brought with her by pure luck and tied Pinkie Pie head to hooves… and Pinkie Pie screamed all along…

“You are not real! You are not my friends!” Said Pinkie Pie… over… and over again…

[Location… Canterlot/ Castle/ Throne room] The next day…

The mane six were in the throne room with the exception of Pinkie Pie who was currently being held in the dungeon of the castle.

Celestia the royal alicorn Princess and ruler of all Equestria was sitting on her throne while Shining Armor captain of the royal guard was giving her information of the corpses they found in Sugar Cube Corner…

“Most of the corpses belonged to high criminal gang members and few belonged to ponies accused of pedofillya that were released because of the lack of evidence. The only civilian corpse they found belonged to a griffon, named Gilda.” Said Shining armor as he read a scroll that was given to him from Torchwood Private Investigations.

“That will be all captain, you are dismissed.” Said Celestia to Shining Armor. He simply nodded and left the throne room.

Once Celestia was alone with the mane five…

“I still don’t understand what made her snap.” Said Rarity.

“Why don’t you ask her yourself lady Rarity?” Said Celestia.

“We tried it already and she doesn’t want to talk about it…” Answered Rarity.

“What is going on princess? Why did our friend did such horrible things?” Asked Applejack with sadness.

“I will be honest with you my little ponies… her unusual behavior is partly my fault.” Said Celestia.

“What do you mean princess?” Asked Twilight.

“There is a dark secret that must never be revealed, but given the circumstances you have the right to know…” Said Celestia a bit sad.

“What secret?...” Asked Fluttershy.

“The truth behind Pinkie Pie's real identity… Her true name is Pinkamena Diane Stone. The name Pie was given to her by her adoptive family. But she can’t remember because I placed an amnesia spell on her.” Said Celestia to the girls.

“Why would you do such a thing?!” Said Rainbow Dash angrily.

“Rainbow!” Said Twilight.

“It’s ok my faithful student… it’s my fault after all.” Said Celestia.

“I had to erase her memories because something terrible happened to her many, many years ago when she was just a little filly… Something I don’t wish to happen to even the worst of my enemies. Something so terrible, it forced my hoof to turn her into stone for many, many years.” Said Celestia.

“Turn her into stone? What the hay are you talking about?” Asked Applejack.

“Applejack… Pinkie Pie is one of the reasons I locked my sister in the moon so from there you can tell how old she is.” Said Celestia.

“No way.” Said Twilight.

“Yes my precious student. I turned her into stone almost for a thousand years. But if you really wish to know the full version of it you need to talk to Pinkamena, the true identity of Pinkie Pie.” Said Celestia…

Then her horn started to glow, it created a small ball of light that hovered in the air and landed in Twilight’s horn. Now Twilight's horn changed in a midnight blue color.

“That spell will be able to release the amnesia spell and free Pinkamena from her mind prison…” Said Celestia releasing a single tear of regret…

[Location… Canterlot/ Castle/ Dungeons] Later that day…

The mane five were directed to Pinkie Pie's cell by a single unicorn guard, the dungeons of the castle is a dark and lonely place for prisoners, they never stayed longer than two days because of the princess' rule… they were either turned into stone, killed or released.
It took the mane five some time to reach Pinkie Pie's cell as she was locked in a very deep part of the dungeon where they lock ponies who will more likely end up executed or turned into stone.

The guard opened the door of the cell and allowed the mane five to enter the room that only contained one bed and a toilet. Pinkie Pie was in a corner curled up in a ball rocking back and forth. Once the guard allowed them to enter he closed the door of the cell and left them some privacy by leaving them alone.

Once the mares were fully alone…

“Pinkie Pie…” Said Rainbow Dash.

“Are you ok?” She said approaching her… just to hear…

“Leave me alone!” Said Pinkie Pie turning her head to see her friends, she had tears in her blood shot eyes.

“We just want to ask you something sugar cube…” Said Applejack.

“I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!” Said Pinkie Pie once more…

“Hold her…” Said Twilight.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash hold down Pinkie Pie against her will, she tried to release herself from the tomboy girls, no avail.

“You are not real! You are not my friends!” Said Pinkie Pie only to find Twilight pointing her horn to her forehead. Once Twilight did this the room filled up in shadows and Pinkie Pie started to twist violently making both Applejack and Rainbow Dash to release her.

“What did you do?!” Said Applejack with concern in her voice.

“I only applied the spell on her!” Said Twilight and her horn turned back to normal. The girls kept arguing with each other until…

“Shut Up!” Said Fluttershy making the girls get quiet…
Pinkie Pie was still squirming on the floor until Fluttershy placed a hoof on her shaking friend.

“Hush, hush, relax, everything is going to be fine.” Said Fluttershy with the voice of a mother to her children.

Pinkie Pie… stopped twisting her body… and thanks to Fluttershy's voice… long forgotten memories appeared inside her head like a spear piercing a crystal glass…

Pinkie Pie with tears in her eyes turned her face to Fluttershy and told her only one thing…

“I remember…” She said and started to tell her friends the sad story of Pinkamena Diane Stone…

“Dad…” Thought Pinkie Pie…
