it begins...

Chapter 3
Cain’s Eyepatch…

[Location… Rock Farm/ Basement Level 1] Present time…

Pinkamena Diane Stone landed on the basement floor with a thud… getting herself up from the floor in fear, she looked around the dark basement what was currently lighted thanks to the trapdoor she opened…

The room is large and made out of simple old wood; from walls to floor. There were a few barrels that contained special stones her family harvested that could turn into diamonds once a year in a corner.

Lucky for her… She didn’t notice the corpses of her mother and sister hidden inside one of the barrels…

The place was also kind of dusty… not to mention the spider webs that decorated the walls giving it a kind of spooky like feeling.

Sadly she just realized her only escape is up the stairs of the basement… hoof steps could be heared coming from the stairs… “Dad…” She thought…

Knowing it was useless to outrun her strong father she placed herself in a fetal position and cried under the trapdoor…

But then she heared something… Just above her…
Turning her head to the direction of the sound that come exactly from the trap door. She saw shadows in shape of strange pony like monsters. Every single one of the shadows extended their creepy hooves towards her as they descended from the trapdoor and at the same time they spoke…

“Pinkamena come with us!” The horrible shadows said with wicked grins.

As soon as she saw them… she screamed…

Only to then hear the monsters scream in pain and go puff in a cloud of dark like smoke. The monsters have disappeared completely out of sight…

Pinkamena could almost swear there was a skeletal pony with a scythe behind the monsters before disappearing behind the smoke these monsters left behind.

Then... she saw it… a card descending from the trapdoor like a feather till it landed face down in front of her. Pinkamena picked it up with curiosity… once she turned around the card she realized it was a tarot card. Death more precisely… The card turned into ash in her hooves.

Now something else called her attention.

“Pinkamena. Where are you? I know you are in here. I heared your scream.” Said the wicked voice of what she used to call dad. He saw her…

Now he was getting closer.

“I am not going to hurt ya darling. I just want to bash your brains. Just like your sister.” Said the father of Pinkamena with pickaxe still in his hoofs.

Pinkamena was frozen in fear. Her father was filled with the desire to serve his queen by exposing his erect member to her daughter.

“I will do as I am told my queen. I love you above all else.” Pinkamena’s father repeated to himself.

This was the end of the line of Pinkamena… Her dad was far too strong for her… But just as she accepted her fate. Somepony in the shadows intervene by throwing a book to the back of her father’s head, sending him flying to one corner of the basement.

That attack left him dizzy leaving him knocked out in the corner of said basement. Before the place started to shake.

[Nightmare Moon pov]…

“WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!” Said Nightmare Moon with fury in her voice as she felt a curse being placed on the basement. She was about to descend to the basement using the stairs only to find said curse holding her back… her nightmares were defeated and she could almost feel the pain of the father of Pinkamena.

“Who could be able to cast such a spell? It must have taken some sort of tactical genius…” Said Nightmare Moon to herself until she realized what is going on.

“CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!!!!!!!!!!” Shouted Nightmare Moon destroying most of the furniture that was in her range.

[Pinkamena pov]…

Pinkamena was on the floor after the place started to shake… but now it was over… She got up from the floor only to find herself in a small room that clearly looked like the same to her basement. Dusty and with spider webs on the walls and the same trapdoor above her…

There was only one exit inside her room in the shape of an archway, behind said archway she could see a dark looking mist…

Poor Pinkamena… she was confused… first those strange shadow monsters die from a single tarot card, then her father was knocked out by a book that is laying on the floor in front of her and she was now in this small room…

“What is going on?” She thought in fear.

“Your father has been controlled by Nightmare Moon and now he won’t stop until he kills you… that’s what’s going on.” Said an echo in the room where she was in.
Pinkamena looked around in the room... it's empty and no one is there but her…

“Who are you? Where are you?” Said Pinkamena still in fear.

“My name is Cain, son of Discord and I am right behind you.” Said the now named Cain.

Pinkamena looked behind her only to gasp in fear for she found a pink earth pony foal the same size as her. He has no mane by exception of his small black tail. He was wearing an eyepatch on his left eye and he has a golden necklace with a hoof hanging on it.

She was pretty sure he wasn’t there before.

“Please don’t hurt me.” Said Pinkamena taking back steps with fear.

“I am not going to hurt you Pinkamena. I am just here to help you. Also it was me who just saved your life from those Nightmares and your father.” Said Cain.

“How do you know my name?” Asked Pinkamena.

“Your father kind of mentioned it.” Said Cain but he was clearly hiding something from her.

“Oh…” Said Pinkamena looking to the floor.

“Thanks for saving me…” Said Pinkamena now looking in his light brown eyes.

“You are welcome.” Said Cain picking the book from the floor. The name of the book is ‘Molestia’s Bible’. With a small grey sun in front of its brown cover.

“Can you help me get out of this place?” Asked Pinkamena, looking around.

“Sorry I can’t. Nightmare Moon is outside my curse barrier and she will take us easy prey if we try to get to the surface.” Said Cain as he made a movement with his left hoof toward the trapdoor above them closing it magically.

“Then what do we do?” Asked Pinkamena a bit surprised to see an earth pony casting magic.

“We go deeper.” Said Cain now heading to the only exit in the room.

“What do you mean?” Asked Pinkamena observing him walk.

“There is a trapdoor hidden around here in the basement, it will lead you to a second basement, then some caves and finally the depths. In the deeps there is a teleport that will take us directly to Canterlot castle, there my dad and princess Celestia will be able to protect you from Nightmare Moon.” Said Cain turning around facing Pinkamena.

“How do you know all this?” asked Pinkamena.

“Your rock farm was built above an old mine that was closed because of the lack of crystals.” Said Cain starting to disappear in front of her.

[Nightmare Moon pov]…

Nightmare Moon was currently in front of the basement stairs, channeling some strange magic from her horn, she was trying to break the curse that was blocking her path. Until…

“That should be enough…” She said, making a small gap in the curse where she can send Nightmares to capture her prize and if possible kill the son of Discord.

“Go inside my child and do not fail me!” Said Nightmare Moon to what looked like a foal behind her… it was grey… and smiling… It entered the gap and was followed by a few Nightmares…

“What are you planning Discord?” Thought Nightmare Moon to herself knowing Discord is behind his son's actions…

“No matter. Discord is trapped in stone and I will kill his own blood with my hooves.” She said with a smile… a very sadistic smile…

[Pinkamena pov]…

“Wait! Don’t leave me here!” Said Pinkamena as she saw Cain disappear before her eyes.

“Pinkamena there is no time to waste. Find the trapdoor and escape this level of the basement. I will try to hold back your father and Nightmare Moon as much as I ca- ARGH!” Cain was in pain.

“Nightmare Moon has managed to infiltrate some of her minions in the basement. Run Pinkamena time is at the essence!” Said Cain before completely disappearing from view.

“Cain? Cain!” Said Pinkamena realizing she is completely on her own.

She got up from the floor and left the room…

[Location… Canterlot/ Castle/ Gardens] Present time…

“Where’s that lazy son of mine? He is getting late!” Said the statue of Discord clearly impatient… until the shadow of a foal with a big fluffy mane appeared in front of him via shadow teleport.

“Hi dad! Sorry for getting late. I was just making myself some pony pedicure with this new pony mom hired from Chinemane. So I told mom why don’t we both take the full treatment and she was like oh Maggi that’s a great idea and I am like.” Said this strange pony with a posh like accent.

“Oh for the love of all that is evil! Shut your tramp Mag!” Said Discord.

This mysterious pony called Maggi or Mag or whatever, shut his mouth.

“Now I have an important mission for you. Go to the rock farm located beyond the Equestrian borders and assist your brother Cain to-” Discord was about to say something, only to be interrupted.

“Brother Cain is there! Oh why didn’t you say so! I am coming my love!” Said the mysterious pony leaving a smoke trail behind himself, as he run to the direction of the rock farm....

“What was I thinking when I had sex with Celestia?” Said Discord to himself wishing his statue could facepalm.

Shit is about to get real Joe!
