Derpy and Carrot Top 2: The Gathering

Kauter started to run towards the edge of the cliff as the other griffons imeadetly started to follow him, once at the edge Kauter took a large leap into the open air as his wings spread open. The Doctor ran inside to a group of ponies ready to fly, the Doctor smiled as they all began to pull different levers. Kauter started flying straight down as sounds of rocks shifting followed him. Behind the group following him came another group of griffons in armor but on their backs were different types of equipment. As Derpy slowly followed the group Kauter backed his was up to her, "Derpy I want to know, are you really ready to go to war with all of Equestria?"

Derpy gave a confused look, "What do you mean all of Equestria?"

Kauter chuckled, "So you think that we are going to fight Celestia who everypony worship and not expect rebellions against us."

Dery looked down at the ground now "Well I guess I thought once we told them the truth they would listen to us."Kauter started flying faster to get to the front of the griffons while Derpy tried her best to catch up to him.

Once they were at the front he shouted out "Doctor!"

Kauter waited and nothing came but before he was about to shout again a voice came from inside of his head, "Kauter don't worry it's me the Doctor I have you linked to the tardis so I can talk to you."

Kauter shook his head in disbelief and shouted: "Doctor get out of my head!"

The Doctor shook his head from inside the tardis, "Sorry, no can do if I fly too close I could hit one of your griffons, and by the way you don't need to shout to talk to me."

Kauter just shook his head in disappointment, "Anyway Doctor, can you follow us through one of those storms that we were hit by in the blimp."

From inside the tardis, the Doctor's eyes grew, "I knew you did it, and yes." Kauter turned around to Derpy and shouted, "Fall back I'm going to have the Doctor pick you up." Hearing a cue the Doctor few back behind the massive group of griffons and pulled Derpy inside the tardis. Once Derpy was inside the Doctor noticed Derpy looking at the ground with a frown.

The Doctor walked over to her and wrapped a forehoof around her neck and pulled her in for a quick hug, "What's wrong love, what's bothering you?"

Derpy looked up at him still frowning, "If we go to war Kauter told me that all of Equestria will be involved and that would also means that a lot of ponies could die."

The Doctor pulled Derpy in for another hug, "I know you're worried but it is to save a lot of ponies in the future, and if we don't go to war, nothing will happen and the cycle will repeat."

Derpy started to nuzzle the Doctors shoulder, "Thank you, I really appreciate it."

Carrot Top walked over to Derpy, "I haven't been able to spend a lot of time with you since the last crazy thing happened and I want to talk about it."

Derpy smiled, "Oh course anything what do you want to talk about." Carrot Top motioned with her head towards Acheron who was looking straight at her. Derpy nodded as Carrot Top took the lead. Acheron led them both into a room similar to the one with the table. Derpy looked at Carrot Top then Acheron, "What's up," she slowly said as she continually exchanged glances.

Acheron looked at the ground as Carrot Top placed a hoof around her neck, "Derpy I am so sorry for all the trouble I've caused in your life, I didn't mean to stick Dinky to the deck it was an accident."

Derpy smiled and wrapped her hooves around her neck as well, "It's ok and I shouldn't have reacted the way I did."

Suddenly the tardis began to shake again, from outside of the room Derpy heard the Doctor shout "Hold on!" Minutes passed until the tardis stopped shaking. Derpy ran out of the room and to the front doors when she opened them she was greeted by a desolate gray wasteland made of black rocks and green goo.

Derpy flew outside and up to Kauter, when she got there she noticed that he wasn't feeling too good, "Are you alright?" Kauter, who's head was shaking, managed to ask if he could stay in the tardis. Before he entered he told Hailstone to take command. Derpy stayed outside with Hailstone, "So how do you really know the Doctor I saw it in your eyes."

Hailstone kept looking forward as he flew, "I'm not allowed to say."

Derpy frowned and gave him her biggest puppy eyes, "Sorry Ms. Hooves that won't work on me if you haven't forgotten I'm a griffon a not nice species." Derpy looked down and saw a runway with a whole bunch of ponies standing next to it, Hailstone moved his arm up and down while pointing to the runway. All of the griffons started to follow him down and so did the Doctor. Once on the ground the griffons sat down and everypony except Kauter came out of the tardis.

The Doctor looked around, "Well this isn't too amazing but it will do, so what are we doing here anyway?"

Hailstone stood up and walked over to the Doctor, "No griffon knows only Kauter does and he is unable to do anything right now, so we will have to wait till it passes."

The Doctor noticed that none of the ponies had talked at all, the Doctor walked over to one of them and asked, "Who are we meeting and when will they be here?"

The yellow mare thought for a minute until the Doctor asked the question again, "She will be here momentarily," the pony replied. The Doctor shouted for everypony and griffon to be quiet.

The only sound that could be heard was the faint sound of buzzing, "Hailstone opened his eyes, "It's a trap, get into protective formations" he shouted. Suddenly the griffons pushed the Doctor and Derpy into the middle of the circle while the griffons with the different gear stood on a second outer circle. The Doctor squinted as he saw a massive wave of bug like ponies coming over the horizon. The ponies on the side of the runway began to flash green which revealed the bug like ponies. The yellow pony that the Doctor talked to walked forward and flashed the green color except this pony resembled an alicorn on a larger level than the smaller ones.

"I can sense that you love something very dearly that is contained it that box, give it to me and I will spare your lives."

All the griffons laugh simultaneously while Hailstone appeared from the group, "Your crazy if you think we are willingly going to give him over."

The Bug pony smiled, "Oh it's a living thing that's worth more than I expected."

Hailstone hopped back into the circle when the Doctor hopped out, "Hello creatures what can we call your race?"

The bug pony became confused by his question, "We are the changelings, and who are you to be so bold to come out of your circle and talk to me straight on."

The Doctor smiled, "I am the Doctor and I will give you one chance to leave us alone, next time out meet won't be very nice."

The changeling recoiled in disbelief, "You want to be killed right on the spot don't you."

He laughed "No no but you will only have one chance to do it, so do you want it now or later?"

The changeling smiled, "Now." Suddenly she disappeared. All the griffons began to murmur but stayed still. The Doctor pushed his way into the outer circle facing out.

A griffon behind him raised his talons and was about to hit the Doctor when a shout came from the tardis "STOP!" Kuter held his sword above his the changeling griffon's head, blade facing the circle, "Let's negotiate." As soon as the griffon looked him in the eyes she froze and lost her disguise. All the griffons turned inward and pointed their weapons at her, she used her magic to create a dome that cleared a path to Kauter. She slowly walked up to him as her magic stopped the continuous bombardment of weapons against her.

Kauter held the sword between her neck and his face. She smiled as tears ran down her face, "After all this you survived for me."

Kauter pressed the sword lightly against her neck, "Queen Crystals I am not here to give you my men's love, I'm here to inform you of another sun war."

The queen instantly backed up, "How do you know me I thought everypony forgot except you, well not you but the other you."

Kauter shook his head in confusion, "We have been watching all over Equestria ever since tirek was in reign."

The Queen squinted, "So you remember me through history?"

Kauter looked down at his sword, "I have lived since then but it's like time is missing or something, most likely an effect of a sun war." The griffons had reformed into a line while the changelings returned into rows. The Doctor and Derpy now stood next to the tardis while Kauter and Crystals were talking.

"So you don't remember anything besides your sword?"

Kauter shook his head, "I just woke up with this sword and I have always had it."

Crystals looked at Kauter and into his eyes, "You don't remember me?"

Kauter shook his head again, "You keep acting like I would know you but I don't."

Crystals frowned, "Ok anyway tell me about this war."

Derpy suddenly fell into the tardis as she looked up at Carrot Top, "Sorry."

Derpy got up and brushed herself off, "Do you still need me, sorry I ran out earlier. Carrot Top gave a simple nod. As they returned back into the room Acheron had built a sculpture from ice. Derpy coughed as they walked into the room. Acheron started to blush considering it was a sculpture of Carrot Top and Derpy. It a flash of light it was gone. "So what do you need to talk about this time," Derpy said with a smile.

Acheron's face went serious, "It's my mom, she is alive again somehow and I can feel her."

Derpy frowned, "The tardis made a connection with you and it will often give small powers to gifted people like you, you could easily be feeling her from a distant time."

Acheron shook her head," No that's not it I can feel her she is alive and I think she is doing well, but I don't know where she is."

Derpy shook her head and smiled, "So if she is alive what is the problem."

Carrot Top and Acheron shared a glance and then looked back at Derpy, "I was stuck in Acheron city before luna was sent to the moon, my mom should be dead."
