"Well, I am preforming the service, Rarity and Pinkie are your bridesmares, Applebloom and Sweetiebelle are the flower girls, Scootaloo is the ring bearer, Soran is the best colt, Spike and Spitfire are the grooms colts, but who is YOUR best mare?" "Well to be frankly honest, and I hope nopony is offended by this, but the only mare I could EVER ask to do it, is Applejack. So will do the honor for me AJ?" Fluttershy asked, she had trotted over and placed a hoof on the farm mare. "If it'll make ya happy, of course I will!" Applejack said, giving Fluttershy a light hug before the pegasus returned to her fiance's loving embrace. "Okay everypony, I have everyone's measurements! All that is left is to sew the gowns! Now Fluttershy, Rainbow, what did you say the date was?" Rarity asked turning her head toward the couple. "Well, we talked to Princess Celestia and Twilight, and they have agreed to let us host a grand ceremony at Twily's castle next Thursday." Rainbow said looking into her filly friends lovingly teal eyes that seemed to had a shimmering touch to them. "Okay then, that should be plenty of time to get them finished, with help of course! By the way, while i'm on the subject, who is going to be staying with who the night before the wedding?" Rarity responded questionably as she had began gathering a few fabrics for a dress. "Well." Fluttershy started,"I was thinking that Twilight, Applejack, Applebloom, Sweetiebelle, Scootaloo, and me stay here at the boutique, while Dashie, Pinkie, Soran, Spike, and Spitfire stay at my cottage, or..soon to be Rainbow's and my cottage anyway." As Fluttershy said the last sentence, there was a trio of "AWWs" from the CMC, followed by a blush from both pegasi. In the days that followed, Rarity, Twilight, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie had created the outfits for the wedding; Rainbow had taken Fluttershy on several dates, and Pinkie had thrown the biggest bridal shower she had ever thrown! Even as anxious as everypony was for the wedding day to come, and thinking that the day would never come; The night before had finally arrived. Most ponies would think the couple would be happier than ever, and Rainbow was, having the time of her life with her friends at her future home, telling stories and fantasizing futures. On the other hoof, while the mares at Carousel Boutique were giving each other makeovers and laughing at each other, the mare of the hour was laying by a window, staring into the starry night, she had felt like crying since she had been separated from her love earlier that day, and surprisingly, the only mare to notice was Applejack. When the country pony walked down the stairs to see the bride crying into her hooves."Hey sugar, what's the matter?" Applejack asked sweetly as she gently caressed the distrot mares mane. Fluttershy jumped at the sudden sound, as well as movement, and upon looking at her friend, she pulled away from her, but stilled faced her. "Oh Applejack!" Fluttershy said, now crying harder. Applejack shook her head in confusion as she pulled Fluttershy into a hug, knowing just what was wrong. "Sugar..It's just one night. Ya have to remain positive, i'm sure Rainbow has you on her mind right now." Applejack said, pushing Fluttershy forward and wiping tears from the pegasi's face. After a moment, Fluttershy cracked a smile. "Applejack, you always know how to make me feel better. I'm glad I chose you to be my best mare!" "And i'm glad to hold the honor. Now why don't we go join the others. I've learned that when you have fun time goes by faster." "Oh...alright!" Fluttershy responded as she allowed Applejack to lead her back upstairs to Rarity's bedroom, where the group had fun for the rest of the night. The next morning, Fluttershy awoke to see Applejack gently shaking her side."Fluttershy get up, we're all downstairs eatin' breakfast. So come on, we're on a tight schedule today. Upon hearing this, Fluttershy was up in a minute, heading to the kitchen with her friend. "Well there's the mare of the hour! We thought you'd never wake up! Did you sleep well?" Twilight asked with a smile, motioning for Fluttershy to sit by her. "Well actually yes!" "Good to hear, after you fell asleep, AJ told us what you were doing by the window last night." Applebloom said with a look of concern. "Why darling, we knew you two were in love, but so much as to be upset for being apart for ONE NIGHT!? Now if THAT isn't true love then I don't know what is!" Rarity added. "Hey, we need to get eating, we have a wedding to get too! You guys know we have to get there before Rainbow's group does!" Sweetiebelle said. "Goodness, she's right! We need to be at the castle at nine thirty and that only leaves us about two hours." Twilight said."So when you finish, just head the boutique area and begin gathering what we need to bring with us!" "Dashie! Come in here and get ready!" Pinkie shouted throughout the cottage. She had been preparing everypony for the walk to Ponyville. All they had to bring was themselves. The other group was to be there earlier than them as to set up the rooms for them to get ready in. But they still had to do their part. "Coming!" Rainbow said walking slowly into the room, as she was holding something in her hooves. "What's that Rainbow?" Spitfire asked suspiciously. "Just a photo of Fluttershy and me." The cyan pegasus replied sheepishly. "Awww!" Everypony cooed, causing Rainbow to blush. "Guys stop!" Rainbow commanded, even though she secretly enjoyed her new found attention; she then set the photo back on the mantle. "So are we about ready to go?" "I would say so!" Soran said happily, and after one final check, the group was headed toward Ponyville.

Upon doing so she crashed into Pinkie Pie."Pinkie! Where's Rainbow!?" "With Soran!" Pinkie said gesturing behind her. When Fluttershy looked up, she saw Rainbow talking to Soran. "Rainbow!" "Fluttershy!" The two mares met and embraced warmly, exchanging a kiss. "Well, i'm glad you two are happy to be reunited, however, we must proceed to getting ready; at least if want to be, how should I say, ready before guests show up!" Rarity said. "Alright, see you guys at the alter!" Rainbow said as Soran, Spike, Scootaloo, Spitfire, and herself went into one dressing room, and the others into the one across from it. "Wow Twilight, I love your dress!" Fluttershy said as Rarity continued to fiddle with Fluttershy, as to insure it was PERFECT! "Thank you!" Twilight said smiling."Uhh Pinkie. Do you need help getting your dress on?" Twilight had looked over and saw Pinkie struggling to tie her dress properly. "A little would be nice." The pink pony responded sheepishly. For the next hour, the mares helped each other get ready, until it was finally time! Rainbow had just finished helping Scootaloo into her dress, when there was a soft knock on the door."Hello?" Twilight asked, creaking the door open slightly."It's about time to start." "Thanks for the memo Twi." Rainbow said. When the door had been closed once more, the cyan pegasus began to shudder. "Are you nervous, Rainbow Dash?" Spitfire asked, trotting up to Rainbow, who was fidgeting with the rose on her suit. "Well....maybe a little." "Aw Rainbow don't be! You know Fluttershy cares for you as much as you for her. You know, I was speaking with AJ earlier, and she told me something about Fluttershy." "What about her?" "Well last night, Applejack came downstairs and found Fluttershy crying by the window. When she asked her what was wrong, she said it was because she missed you." "Really?" "Yes. So don't worry." "HEY! COME ON, IT'S TIME!!!" Pinkie yelled as she barged into the room, catching everypony off guard. "Pinkie!" Twilight yelled yet whispered with a shake of her head."She's right, I need the grooms colts, and the bridesmares to follow me!" The wedding was underway, the only ones left to travel the aisle was the ring bearer, flower girls, and the bride. Scootaloo was the first to walk down, afterward follow Sweetiebelle and Applebloom, who tossed the flowers out their baskets cheerfully. Rainbow was nearly to excited to stand still however she was frozen in 'aw' when Fluttershy stepped into the room. She couldn't believe how gorgeous the dress she was wearing was and how great she looked in it. When Fluttershy reached the end of the aisle, Twilight began the service."Mares and gentlecolts. We are gather here today to celebrate the union of these two pegasi. From all my days, I have never seen such a strong bond, as the one shared between these two. Do you, Fluttershy, take Rainbow Dash, to be your loafly wedded pegasus, in sickness, and in health, for as long as you both shall live?" "I do!" "And do you, Rainbow Dash, take Fluttershy to be your loafly wedded mare, in sickness, and in health, for as long as you both shall live?" "I do!" "Then it is my great honor to pronounce you mare, and colt! You may now kiss." As the two locked lips and kissed, the crowd cheered happily, giving Twilight the chance to slip off, where she preformed a star-boom, as well as putting Rainbow and Fluttershy's name inside. When Fluttershy saw it, her eyes beamed. "Rainbow! This is beautiful! And I have a surprise for you too!" "What's that sweetie?" Rainbow's mouth nearly dropped when she saw the tiara Fluttershy was wearing. Made of pure gold, was a a crown that beheld both her and her new wife's cutiemarks. "Best. Wedding. Ever!" Rainbow said smiling, as she pulled Fluttershy into another kiss. Everypony had gathered into Twilight's dining hall to eat. While the couple had been feeding each other, the others on their group of friends had come over to engage a conversation, as well did the other princesses."Congratulations you two!" Cadence said happily. "Thanks!" The two said in unity, followed by laughter from the group. "So, what are you two doing for your honeymoon?" Twilight asked as she took another bite of cake. "I haven't thought about that.."Fluttershy said. "Don't worry about that babe! I booked up a hotel in Canterlot! And I have a few plans.." Rainbow said with a smirk. "Well you are just the rose of the thorns aren't you!?" Fluttershy said, giving a kiss to her lover. After everypony had eaten, the wedding had been carried outside toward the garden, and dancing commenced until near midnight!

"Fine, I think I saw it in the cloest....FOUND IT!" "Yay!" "Are you ready to go yet? We'll miss our train to Canterlot!" "Yes I am Rainbow, but I think we should say goodbye to our friends first! We're gonna be gone for a whole week!" "Alright let's go then!" "Do you think they left without saying goodbye!?" Pinkie said as she placed a tray of cupcakes on the table her friends were at. "Pinkie they would never do that!" Applejack said. "She's right!" Rarity agreed. "Speaking of, here they come now!" Twilght said smiling. The door to Sugar Cube Corner suddenly opened, and the two mares came in. "Hey guys, just thought we'd stop by to say our farewells." Rainbow started. "Yeah, but we can't stay long or we'll miss our train." Fluttershy finished. The others came over to the couple and joined into a group hug, and held a light conversation. Then goodbyes were said and the mares were off to the train station to Canterlot, were a week of fun would soon commence.
