The Shut Down
Well today is a good day to work, right?
Let me start from the beginning, I'm an employee (if you couldn’t tell. probably not), But no any employee, a game programmer, What? Not impress? Yeah i see what you mean.
I’m just a guy who… well sort of: put the code in place and make sure it works or you’re fired, yeah, if you also couldn’t tell my boss is a “big meanie” as my brother like to call him (not AT him, but you understand), said boss is the owner of this game company: JOYMAKERS.
boy that guy must had thought MONTHS to come up with such a lame name.
Right now we are (or were, because people is starting to either get fired or just abandon the job) in a game based in a manga that my boss has “gently” spend %30 percent of the company’s profit to buy it (that guy must be swimming in money), the game is called like in the manga: The Gamer, right now my co-worker (and friend) and I are working on the graphics,
And yes a can do that kind of stuff too, but my friend literally obliterated me when comes in character design and today we make good progress, though there is always a “but” , and that is:
Today wasn't a good day.
How many times have we said that in our lives?
Far too many times to feel like it makes some sort of sense, and i don't blame anyone, in fact, i accept that part of life.
But losing my job is NOT one of the things i would like. (except if my job sucks, then I'll be happy if that happens.)
But let me ask you something.
Have you ever lost any progress by a blackout?
You know how this goes: Raining outside, finish this job, BUM, the electricity goes out, along with ALL of your progress, all because you didn't hit that miracle maker called "save", Seriously it's the worst feeling.
yeah, you know where this is going, don't you?
Just to put it simple, I'm not the only guy in my team who is mad because of this.

"Warren, for the love of god, shouting at the computer isn’t going to fix it"
If you're wondering who shouted to the sky (or computer), is Warren A. Baldwin my co-worker.
Warren wasn't too happy about my reply though.
"Freddy, do you even know what this even means?! We’re going to lose our jobs!" warren shouted at me.
"No, we are not, the electricity was out of our reach, there was not, in any way, shape or form, knowledge of this happening" I told him.
Shit, did I forgot to introduce myself? god dammit.
Anyway, my name is Freddie N. Eaton, weird name isn't it? I think my parents picked my name out of a stupid name generator or something, every-single-one i meet in my life just calls me "Freddy" because it's "easy" or "more charming".
THEY CANNOT FOOL ME! I KNOW WHERE THAT NICKNAME COME FROM! I WILL DEVOUR THEIR FACES!
Anyway, where was I?
"Yeah, sure everything is alright, no problem, we are not talking about ONE GODDAMN WORK AT ALL!, A WEEK'S WORTH AS A MATTER OF FACT!" shouted Warren.
Well, shit, dealing with a mad Warren is the worst.
"Don't worry,I have a stupid habit of pressing "save" every minute" I said.
And no, that wasn't a joke.
"Wait... really? Since when?" Warren asked.
"Since... probably the first time I touched a Bethesda game." I said.

"... are you okay Warren?" I asked him.
"God bless Bethesda" Warren said.
Well that was unusually Quick, Yeah, thank my sister for that habit...that was a weird childhood.
"So now what we should do?" I asked
a speaker sounded. "ALL WORKERS CAN GO HOME FOR THE DAY, THE ELECTRICITY ISSUE WON'T BE SOLVED UNTIL TOMORROW."
"Seriously Freddy, you always call for it every single day." said Warren.
"Yeah, somehow..." I said.
"Anyway, wanna go to the bar?" Warren asks me, as he gets up from his seat.
"Again? We went yesterday you alcoholic" I said, as I, as well, get up from my seat.
"Wait... did we?" he asked, as we walk to the elevator.
"The "special knock-out" beer?" I counter the question.
"Wait, I don't remember anything, like... at all" Warren said.
"That's because you just drank one half of a tiny glass and blacked out, right in that instant" I answer.
"Holy Shit, that explains the terrible hangover" he said.
"No shit, dude" I said, suddenly I notice something,
“Didn’t we passed over this section before? Wait, Are we in the same place?” I thought as we passed the same place.
"Well, not drinking that shit again, that was like... five liters of water wasted, hey what's wrong?" Warren ask me, looking at my confused face.
"Well, shouldn't we be already at the elevator?" I asked.
"Uh..." Warren looks around "you're right, for the first time, where is the elevator?" he asked.
"Shit, seriously we been working here in this game company for five months, how did we miss the elevator UNTIL now?" I asked.
Warren and i look around the area until I notice something.
"Dude, I take that back, where the fuck are we?" I asked, looking at the unfamiliar work area.
"God, is this going to be like those really bad horror games?" Warren asked.
"Don't even bring that up, this is getting bizarre" I said.
"Indeed, seriously the elevator is supposed to be right here, the next thing we should expect is a goddamn monster popping out of nowhere" Warren said.
"Do you really believe in those fanfictions?" I asked.
"HEY, they are a great way to get ideas" he said.
a computer screen Suddenly turns on, we slowly turn our head to it.
...
"Nope, no fucking way, let's get out of here" Warren said.
"I agree let find an exit before-ahh! shit" I said as I trip.
“weird… i didn’t feel ANYTHING at all, what was that?” i wondered
I look at my leg.
...
A fucking tentacle,transparent with the interior of star and not the ones you draw, the ones from space, grabbing my leg.
"Oh shit" only manage to said as I'm pulled out of the ground.
"AH FUCK!" Warren shout's I'm getting pulled to the screen.
"Don't just stand there! Help me already!" I yell as I grip in the computer's table for dear life.
"Hang on! I-" he said as he was interrupted by me getting sucked in the computer with a table-piece and all.
The screen suddenly get colorful images and start swapping REALLY fast, While it shakes like an earthquake.
The it explode in Warren face, taking half of the floor with it.
MEANWHILE: outside
Every single employee was out of the JOYMAKERS game company, everyone was going home, until there was an explosion in the Building, everyone started to run as the explosion ends, the building is still stable, calls to 066 were already made, as the cop arrive They proceed to the explosion site, they find Warren fainted and with a head wound.
They find the area of explosion, there was nothing there.
"Sir, we may have a little mystery, probably a terrorist, but there's no bomb, change" the cop said.
"Wounded?" it answered.
"One man, but it doesn't seems responsible, unless he "somehow" manage to fucked up a fucking bomb" the cop answered.
"Send him to the hospital, we'll begin the interrogation when he recovers, we might find answers from him" it answered.
"Understood, copy and out," the cop hangs up "this doesn't make sense, but it's not my job to find it".
MEANWHILE: with Freddie
Pain
I feel like just someone just launched an atomic bomb to my face.
Wait, i take that back, to EVERY part of my body.
And suddenly *pop* nothing, no pain, no bleeding, it just vanish.
I suddenly got up from.... whatever i was sitting on, and looked around.
I'm not going to lie, i did drugs before, and let me tell you, this is probably the most amazing shit i would totally take.
If it was the effect of a drug.
SERIOUSLY this seems like a galaxy of sort, i look at myself.
My body was still the form, there was one little detail thought.
MY FLESH WAS LITERALLY STATIC!
"Oh shit! what the fuck! am i inside of the computer?!" i shout.
I looked around in the storm of stars for any orientation, anything that would tell me where am i.
A while of looking around i see a world but it was all... glitchy?
All right Scott Cawthon it's this your work or something? because is not funny.
"Alright, just, calm down, i'm just dreaming..... am i?" i thought.
I tried to walk towards it, it turns out to be easier than i expected, when i reached the sphered like world, i found out that the world was of the size of my legs, i tried touching it, yeah "tried", i was terrified of something would just pop out it, when i touched it nothing

I was just there, looking at it speechless of what to think of myself.
"Fucking serious?" i thought.
Suddenly it was all white.
MEANWHILE: everfree forest city approx. 1000 years Before season 1
Night spear was a bat pony, simple messy hair, gray fur with an unnatural pink hair (for bat ponies),she was 5 feet tall, she was wearing a simple t-shirt and rather simple pants, she also have an unusual light blue eyes unlike the common topaz like color.
Night spear was on her free day and she was just taking a stroll in the market to buy the groceries just like everypony, after buying all her "to-buy" list, the was an explosion in the center of the market, everypony was surprised by this, some of them ran away, other were calling the guards, the bravest (or the most stupid) look the source of the explosion, she's the first one to see the creature that caused the explosion.
"A biped-monkey?" Night spear thought.
She shakes her head and approach the human, a 6 foot monkey of sort, with no fur except for his head, five fingers instead of 4 like a normal pony, it's feet ends with five toes, it was wearing a unlikely work suit, which it was covered in dirt, blood and looks like is going to be torn apart, the face was the most bizarre, it was flat, no eyes, no nose, no mouth, no nothing, but it was some sort of colorful veins all over his face... and body.
in closer inspection she noticed that the creature was, in fact, bleeding from the suit, in an attack of panic she yells
"Stay back! this... creature needs medical attention!" while she start lifting it up the ground.
She went running to the nearest hospital, so the medics can fix this creature... whatever it was.
Everypony was surprised by the running batpony, to question the situation.
Chapter 1: MEDIC! (edited)
Hmm... this could be worse
Well beside obviously pain that is making me the "want to be dead" kinda feeling that NEVER in my life has been felt (except by my sister birthdays, don't ask why (please don't)), and the other factor that my eyes refused to obey they OverPowered master and host just to, guess what, open and see where i am.
I'm not the guy who believe in "ignorance is bliss" or something, due to that fact, i get... jumpy when i'm in these kinds of.... situations.
Being in some sort of... bed? with my eyes blocked in a hospital (or place) can easily begin to worry my nerves, however this doesn't mean i'm not a guy who can make an answer blind (that pun was NOT intended (that's a lie)).
Bed? feels like... hay?, probably a Ranch.
Sunlight hitting my face?, the worst case is i'm in a field, Which is bad because i'm not some sort of "survivor" (who would when you work with computers?)
Some sort of rags all over my body? that would explain the pain, that could also mean i'm in an hospital in some village or town.
But if it's true, then why hay as a bed?
I tried to open my eyes for the past few days (judging by the light that's hitting my face), but i couldn't even move them so i decided to sleep.
.....
What? is a totally reasonable action to do, i'm in pain, i can't move, i can't even open my eyes for the love of god!
Anyway, after a few hour of sleep (or days, IT IS hard to tell), i "woke up" by the sound of a few voices.
"Sooo... is it going to be okay?" said a clearly voice of a woman, it sounded young but for some reason i doubt it SO much.
"Hmm... i'm not sure, we never heard of.... this in my life" said another voice (probably the medic)
"Wait what? *"never heard of this?", dear god what did i got this time?* i thought worried, it is a good time to get worried.
"For as far as i can see.... the wound has healed, the magic didn't picked up any internal bleeding so..." the medic said to the other voice.
"Wait... "magic".... oh GOD please tell i wasn't captured by psychos!" i thought, NOW afraid for my life.
"The only reason it would die might be because of our poor knowledge of this creature, but we might have to wait a few day and if it's not showing any signs of improvement, we'll have to get rid of it" said the "Doctor".
"Oh god, i'm not only captured by psychos but they are going to kill me if they imaginary powers doesn't do anything!" (which it wouldn't anyway) "I Need....to....do something!....." i thought, as i start to do anything to get out of here with a LEGIT reason to fear for my life, to the point i didn't bother to listen what they're were saying.
From the perspective of: Night spear
She could NOT believe this doctor, she brought this monkey-thing a few WEEKS ago and NOW he's telling her that "we don't have knowledge so it go and fuck itself" she wasn't going to buy that one, what have they been doing to it, this WHOLE time?!
"Sir we know that this creature has been here for the past two week" she said followed by a sigh "you and your whole team of medic have been doing something to it and with that time you're telling me you didn't anything more than just patching its wound and thats it, I am going to get rid of YOU" night spear started to crack her knuckles "so WHAT else did you do?".
The medic, now nervous of the guard, thought about what he was about to say for few seconds, until he did found the words.
"It's supposed to be a secret of our boss" he said as he started to look around for any "spy" the he get to the door and locked it.
"Our boss has found out the creature is...is..um.." he said as he checks around one final time,and then whisper to her "is an unique creature and they are thinking to sell it as a "warbeast" for the royalty for a big bag of bits" the doctor finish.
"WHAT?! but why?!" night spear yelled.
"shhh! shhh!" the doctor tried to shut her mouth, worried that she might attract unwanted attention.
"Right, sorry" night spear apologies.
"He's doing this so he can go to griffonstone, no one know why thought" the doctor whisper back
"Then why thou couldn't tell me?" night spear asked
"He said that we would lose more than our job but didn't said more" the doctor replied
"Oh for the love of... i need to tell this to my superiors, if this kind of thing happened before, it cannot continue any longer" night spear said.
"Well, if you do that, can you please tell them to never mention my name, i don't think i'll live if my boss know that i gave him away" the doctor said.
"I'll try but we can't promise" night spear said "maybe they'll give a promotion for thi-" she taught until she was interrupted.
ZAP
The creature she brought suddenly started to to be surrounded by electricity, it began to levitate from the bed with the electricity becoming more and more unstable
"What is happening?!" yelled night spear bringing down a table to shield herself and the doctor.
"I don't know!" the doctor yelled

YES! i did something, i don't know what but i did!
A few seconds of struggle in my "bed" and i think i even snap my back...ouch.
But then again yes! success! and i even feel amazing! i don't think i ever notice that i was floating in mid-air.
That was until i fell to the ground, still feeling good thought.
"OH YEAH! WOW! THAT FELT AWESOME!" i yelled on the top of my lungs
"THAT was something i want to feel again....oh wait my eyes are still closed" i thought.
Opening my eyes i was surprised by a window.

All altered states had been fixed
"Huh? well this is unexpected..." i thought for a few seconds "oh...my....god...i just CANNOT believe what i'm watching" i finally realised what i was watching.
A pop-out, a GAME pop-out to be more exact, up to this point i knew how my life was going to be.
And i don't know what to make of it.
I'm not really a guy who like adventures (even though i'm a pretty excitable guy) but THIS power is going to put me in too many shenanigans for my liking, oh well, it's not like i had a choice either so deal with it.
"But, where am i?" i thought, as i look around.
I looked around to see my location, a hay bed? check, at least i know where i was sleeping, a roof? check, boring colored walls? check, herbs? EVERYWHERE(with the shape of weed, of course), a table in the ground to shield someone from me? check...wait.
"Uh...hello? anyone behind the table?" i asked, as i was also able to hear someone behind said table.
"oh my faust it can talk!" i heard a male voice, probably the "get rid of him" guy,i'll show him one day, but i'm not feeling it today.
"Can you be quiet?! maybe we can talk our way out..." said a female voice.
"You known that, the whispering is to not let someone hear you, right?" i explain to them, i could even FEEL the sudden stop they made.
After waiting a few seconds ahead finally decided to come out to see me, and i almost jumped back at the sight.
A face, well... a mare face more exactly (my uncles have a farm, shut up), it had light cat eyes (a vampire?), it has a weird (but pretty cute) messy pink hair, it a gray fur and she was looking at me with a "what the hell?" face, it was amusing and kinda adorable.
"Who are you?" asked the mare.
"Uh?" was literally the only thing i said, can you blame me? this is so unreal.
"Who. Are. You?" she asked me again.
"Oh," i shaked my head when i snapped out my 'trance' "I'm Freddie N.eatton and i'm confused of where am i, uh... care to explain, please?" i asked because i was have a 'little' bit fear that she might say i'm not in-
"You are in the everfree city" she answered back.
...
"No...no no no, wait the 'everfree city' i..i... i never heard that name before" i said totally shocked.
"Are you ok?" she asked.
"Uh? oh i..uh.. no, i need a minute to swallow this..." i let a sigh.
"Are you not from here?" she asked
"No, in fact, i believe i'm not my world anymore...god....ugh" i was beginning to panic.
"I'm not in my world anymore, this looks like the middle ages, so signal and internet are out of question, but i gain a really powerful power, maybe i can "magic" my way back and, hey, at least have something to show off, but then people might get scared and the military might try everything the have to capture and "steal" the power for themselves, or if i become too powerful, just straight up kill me, even if is the price of the whole world!" i thought for a few seconds the possibilities.
"Well, they have magic here, at least they won't suspect a thing.... and then again i might never come back sooo." i thought my options.
"screw it, my life was boring anyway, my family will try to find me when they find out i don't answer anymore and they'll give up when they notice that i don't exist anymore, if i can't go back at least i'll try something different" i thought, as i made my final thought about this "Not-my-world-anymore-thing"
"Oh well, thanks for helping me miss..." i pause, because i don't have her name.
"Oh how rude of me, i'm night spear" she finally present herself as she get up from her place so i could take a better look.
Oh boy, the clothes of this mare is the simplest one i ever saw, plain colored shirt and jeans? (not sure but whatever), i don't mind that, the problem is that she's showing a little more fur than i'm used to see on women (or mare in this case) because of how... tiny her clothes were, i think i looked at her breasts for a few seconds before i snap out my... let say "trance" for now and focus on the main topic.
"...Well, i could ask why your name is literally a pun," her face turn into one of confusion "but is not my homeworld so i can't say anything, by the way, you know somewhere i can stay, i have nowhere to go after all... this" i asked.
"Hmm...well i have a spare room in our house you can stay there, if you help around my house that is" she offered.
"Well thanks, shall we go now?" asked as i walked to the exit of the room.
"Yes we can, hey! wait!" night spear yelled at me while running to catch up to me.
...
"....What the hay just happened?" asked a very confused doctor.
