Celestia, Luna and Discord plot to kill Cadance. They believe it is for the good of Equestria, but royalty dying raises questions and trouble. How do they get Twilight to go along or silence her?

Chapter 1 depicts events leading up to the season 5 finale from another angle, showing what we couldn't see from Twilight's point of view, and the climax to which these events lead. Or, if that sounds vague, Celestia, Luna and Discord plot to kill Cadance - but supposedly for a good cause. And it hits the fan from there on.
