Chapters Honeymoon of Loyal Kindness
Fluttershy woke up and realized she had rolled away from Rainbow, she turned back over and saw her filly friend was on her back and snoring. She slowly made her way toward her and placed her head on Rainbow's stomach and went back to sleep. Little did she kno, Rainbow had actually been awake and when Fluttershy put her head there and fallen back asleep, Rainbow placed her hoof on her mare and too fell back out.
A few hours later, Rainbow was the first to wake up, Fluttershy was still in her position on Rainbow, so she worked carefully to move her off of her so she could get up. When she did, she walked to the dresser and brushed her unkempt mane back to it's normal position. She then left the room and headed toward the castle kitchen; where she grabbed some food for herself and Fluttershy, who she planned to surprise with breakfast in bed. When she got back to the room she could see her mare was still sleeping soundly, and as much as she hated to do so, she was going to wake her up so she could eat before her breakfast got cold. Rainbow first set the tray down on the table in front of the bed, then she got into the bed and began softly tickling the cream yellow pegasus, who first seemed to stir then busted out laughing."Rainbow! Stop it!" Fluttershy stuttered while laughing."What is it?"
"Well, I brought us some food, but I figured my baby doesn't want to eat alone!" Rainbow said with a smile.
"Oh Rainbow, you're so sweet!" Fluttershy responded, then the cyan pegasus walked over and picked up the tray, brought it over to their bed, and the two began laughing and cutting up as they fed each other.
The two had finished eating and had put the tray back on the table."Rainbow you know something?"
"What's that dear?" Rainbow responded.
"You are my knight and shining mare, but you can also be a ball of trouble."
"Is that a challenge?"
"Maybe..."
"Well, challenge except!" Rainbow said as she pinned Fluttershy to the bed and used her wing to tickle Fluttershy's stomach.
"AH! Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy screamed, then she gathered all the strength she had to flip the two around. When she successfully did so she used her wings to get Rainbow's neck, which she knew was her most vunerable and most ticklish spot. The moment she did so, Rainbow let out a high pitched, but raspy shriek. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Come...in!" Rainbow said sitting up, though she was still laughing. When the door opened, Princess Celestia walked in.
"Hello love birds. I see you made it here safely. But before you leave I would suggest you brush your manes. The two then looked at each other, followed by laughter at how silly they looked."Well, I'll leave you be, I just wanted to see you two were safe."
"Alright!" Rainbow replied happily, then the Princess departed.
"So, what do you wanna do today, my dearest?"
"I don't know. What do you think we should do?"
"Well..... I MAY have a few ideas!"
"And that is.....?"
"Well, I was thinking we could go to the Wonderbolt's show today, then afterwards go to dinner, and then... Well, I can have a few surprises."
"Okay, we can do that! It sounds fun! By the way, are you in this show or...?"
"No, they said I could take the week off to spend it with me love. But we get in for free, plus we get to sit in the reserved area for Wonderbolts and their family."
"Awesome! Well we better take care of these manes, we're a mess!"
"Give me two seconds!" Rainbow said, and is a flash she had zoomed over and brushed her mane out, then motioned for Fluttershy to come over too. When Fluttershy came over Rainbow had her sit on the stool, and Rainbow began to brush her mares mane. Although Flutershy felt Rainbow doing something extra with her mane.
"Rainbow what are you doing?"
"I'm putting a braid down your bang, and I want you to wear your yellow dress."
"Fine, but what about you?"
"Probably my gala dress, it's really the only one I brought, hehe." Rainbow said as she finished Fluttershy's mane, she handed her a yellow dress with a white trim to her, then picked out her first gala dress for herself.
When they finished getting ready, they both headed toward the stadium so they could get a good seat for the show, when they arrived, many greetings were said as well as congratulations on their new marriage."So, how's it going you two?" Soran asked.
"Special occasion already?" Spitfire added gesturing to their apparel.
"No, I just want my girl to dress up so she made me too." Rainbow responded, wrapping her wing protectively around Fluttershy.
"Well, the show starts in about ten minutes or so; so just make yourselves comfortable!" Spitfire said sweetly, and the two were off to their seats.
Throughout the entire show, Rainbow and Fluttershy were cheering for the Wonderbolts, as they preformed many daring stunts. At the end however, the couple got a surprise of their own from the Wonderbolt squad." Thank you everypony who came out this morning! Now before you leave I just want to send out a big congratulations to another Wonderbolt Rainbow Dash and her new wife, Fluttershy!" The two immediately began to blush as the crowd began cheering for them.
The rest of the day went smoothly, and Fluttershy had begun to feel tired, and wanted to go back to the castle and rest, but Rainbow had other plans."Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked as they walked along the streets.
"Yes?"
"Do you feel like you can fly or do you want to get on my back?"
"How far..?"
"Not TO far, but I don't know."
"I'll just ride on your back if that's okay...?"
"Alright! Hop on!" Once Fluttershy had gotten on her lovers back, she was taken by surprise as the cyan pegasus took off, speeding through the air as she headed throughout the sky.
"Rainbow! Where are we going!?"
"You'll see! Remember when I said I can have surprises too this morning!?"
The flight seemed to last forever for the cream yellow pegasus, but in reality it was only like ten minutes, when Rainbow had landed them on the edge of a mountain in the outskirts of the area between Ponyville and Canterlot.
"Wow, this is BEAUTIFUL!" Fluttershy squealed as she sat in the grass, followed by Rainbow joining her.
"I'm glad you find it suitable! I wanted to add a little nature. Plus, it would be nice to watch the sunset." The two simply laid beside each other, occasionally engaging a light conversation, until the sun had set.
When Fluttershy woke up, she was laying in their bed at the castle, but it was still dark. She was no longer in her dress, nor was her mane still braided. She lifted her head slightly to see Rainbow without her dress on, but she was working to get her own mane back to normal, so she assumed they hadn't been at the castle long."Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked, fully sitting up.
"Well, look who woke up." Rainbow said laughing as she put the brush she was holding down and came to the bed, getting into it.
"You fell asleep,so I brought you home and laid you down. Frankly, i'm quite surprised you didn't wake up when I was getting you out of that dress, or when I was unbraiding your mane for that matter. You're a pretty deep sleeper, maybe more than me!" Fluttershy simply laughed, then the two laid down, ready for one good nights rest.

The Honeymoon- Day 2 [On both sides]
Fluttershy woke up to a weird feeling, when she opened her eyes to see Rainbow had been stroking her mane gently."Hey sleepy head."
"What happened?"
"To be honest, I don't remember."
"Well, what should we do today?"
"I don't know?.....Hmm, we should have at least ONE day here, right?"
"Well.....OKAY!" The simply laughed as they laid back down.
"Do you think we should go surprise them in Canterlot!?" Pinkie asked standing up.
"Pinkie please!" Rarity asked looking up from the pattern she'd being studying. The girls had decided to have a picnic because it was a clear and sunny day.
"Rarity's right, you should quit worrying about them, nothing major is going to happen!" Twilight said, then looking back at the book she was reading, it had been entitled: Daring Do and the quest for the Sapphire Stone.
"Besides we agreed to surprise them at the train, 'member?" Applejack said, before also looking at the book Twilight was reading.
"BUT I MISS THEM!" Pinkie sobbed.
"Pinkie...they'll be back in a few days , i'm sure they're having fun, and they want you to have fun too." Twilight said and motioned for Pinkie to sit beside her."Come and read with us!"
"Hmm, okay!" Pinkie said as she plopped by her friends.
"Say, what are you three reading?" Rarity asked.
"Daring Do; Wanna join us?" Applejack asked.
"Eh, why not?"
"Rainbow, get your lazy flank out of bed!" Fluttershy said. She went over to the bed and used her wing feathers to tickle her neck.
"AH!" Rainbow screamed and flew into the air. When she realized what was going on, she gently descended back to the bed. "I thought we were spending today here..."
"Yes, well I thought we should at least go for a walk! Now get up!"
"UGH!" Rainbow groaned but got up anyway, and was so exhausted she didn't even mind when Fluttershy brushed her mane this time.
The two walked down the streets of Canterlot, laughing an cutting up, and stayed that way for an hour or so until-"AH!"
"Fluttershy!? What's wrong!?" Rainbow asked as she threw a wing around her to help keep her on her hooves.
"Not-nothing! My stomach just hurts a little bit."
"Well, it sure seems a lot worse, are you sure you don't want to head back to the castle and have a stay at "home" day like I suggested?"
"Actually, that may not be such a bad idea."
When they got back to their room Rainbow forced Fluttershy to lay down, and was about to head to ask a favor of Princess Celestia."Do you think we should head home early?"
"I...Don't know.." Fluttershy stuttered.
"How's this, if you're still feeling this bad tomorrow, we'll go home?"
"Okay." Rainbow said as she headed to toward the door.
"Where are you going?"
"I won't be long baby I promise. I need to ask something of Celestia.
"Okay."
"Princess Celestia!?" Rainbow asked as she hurried into the throne room.
"Yes, Rainbow Dash? What's the problem?"
"It's Fluttershy, we were walking through Canterlot and she almost fell over. When I asked her what was wrong, she said it was her stomach."
"Where is she now?"
"In bed, I came to you to ask if I could send a letter to Twilight. We decided to head home if she doesn't feel better by tomorrow."
"Why of course! Here." Celestia levitated a scroll and quill to the pegasus, who began writing immediately.
Dear Princess Twilight,
Fluttershy seems to have contracted something, and if she's not better by tomorrow, then we are gonna head home. I have no idea what's wrong with her, but the Princesses here are going to help me. Please have our cottage ready for whatever it could be.....

Once Celestia sent the letter, she returned her gaze to the worried looking cyan pegasus."Is there anything Princess Luna or myself can do?"
"Well..This question might seem weird, but can you have Luna look into her dreams tonight, maybe there'll be clues as to what's going on?"
"Of course, now go back to your mare, goodnight Mrs Dash." Rainbow bowed to the Princess and quickly headed back to Fluttershy.
"WHAT!?" Twilight asked dropping the letter that she was holding with her magic.
"What's wrong Twilight?" Pinkie asked sitting up, she had been taking a nap in the throne of laughter.
"I just got a letter from Rainbow Dash.."
"Well, what's it say?" Applejack said.
"Fluttershy...she's not feeling right.."
"WHAT!?" Everypony and Spike yelled in unity.
"Rainbow and the Princesses are going to work to figure it out, but if they can't by tomorrow, they're coming home. And they want us to prepare their house for anything!"
"Well, we better get started then!" Rarity said, and everypony ran from the Castle of Friendship to the Cottage of Loyal Kindess.

"So, what did you find out?" Rainbow asked Princess Luna, who was staring out on Canterlot from her balcony, and Rainbow had just joined her.
"Well, her dreams had a lot to do with foals...and parenting.."
"Are you saying she's...."
"From what i've seen...yes."
"So what should I do?"
"Break the news to her and take care of her, but I see no reason why you can't finish out your week here. I'll send a letter to Twilight so they don't get worried sick!"
"Uh Princess?"
"Yes Rainbow?"
"Do you mind not telling them she's pregnant, I kinda want to see their face, and I am sure Fluttershy does too."
"Well, what do you propose I tell them?"
"Just say she's fine and that we'll be home in a couple days."
"Okay then!" Rainbow was then dismissed and she headed to tell Fluttershy the news.
When Rainbow entered the room Fluttershy was still asleep."Well, I don't want to make her jump..."
Fluttershy woke up once again to feeling a stroke, but it was on her stomach this time, not her mane."Rainbow? Did you find out what was wrong?"
"Nothing, it's just..."
"What?" Fluttershy sat up a bit more and gave Rainbow a concerned look."Tell me."
"Your....pregnant."
"What...But..how!?"
"I don't know, but we can still stay a couple more days, then head home."
"So, we leave on Tuesday?"
"Yeah, Princess Luna is going to page Twilight for us."
"So what do you want to do today?"
"Well, we need to take it slower, since you know have a foal, but...I would think we should go talk to some Wonderbolts about the news."
"Sure! But what about the girls?"
"I told Luna to just say you were fine, so that way we could see their reaction first hoof."
"Well..okay!"
"GUYS!" Twilight yelled as she ran into Sugar Cube Corner.
"Did you get another letter?" Pinkie asked hopefully.
"Yes, it was from Princess Luna sent it. She said Fluttershy is fine."
"Good to hear, but what was wrong?" Rarity asked.
"She said I have to wait ti'll they get home, but they're coming home early." Twilight responded.
"When!!!!" Pinkie was nearly out of her seat.
"Monday."
"That's tomorrow!" Applejack said in surprise.
"Well, we better prepare for anything, as Rainbow said before. You have no idea what they have planned." Rarity said.
"Let's get to work!" Pinkie shouted with glee.

When the group arrived at Sugar Cube Corner, everyone sat around a table, well expect for Spitfire, who had to leave, however had enough time to take her friends bags home before going back to the station.
Meanwhile, the others where desperate to find out what was going on with the yellow pegasus."So, what's wrong with Fluttershy? I mean, the letter Princess Luna sent yesterday said she was fine." Twilight asked, surprisingly calm.
"Well, She is fine." Rainbow replied, trying to hide her smirk.
"Then why is she, like that?" Applejack responded pointing to her friend, who looked pretty exhausted, however she suddenly showed a smile.
"Well Applejack, a few days ago in Canterlot I wasn't feeling good, but Luna looked into my dreams last night, and we found out........." Fluttershy stopped and looked at Rainbow, and in unison they said:
"We're having a baby!!" The other's mouths dropped, not one being able to speak for what seemed like forever, however, Pinkie Pie, broke that silence.
"You're having a BABY!??! No WAY!!!"
"Well no wonder you get tired easily darling!" Rarity added smiling.
"Well congratulations ya'll!" Even though the others had gotten the message, she still hadn't been able to process the information.
"So...you two...baby.....so.." Twilight stuttered.
"Hey, you know what?" Fluttershy started.
"What's that sugar?" Applejack asked.
"You guys have been like my sisters since Rainbow and I first met you, so technically, you guys could be his or her aunt." This once again brought surprise to everyone at the table, but after a moment, they all softened their looks and gathered for a group hug.
Soon after, the two headed home and sat on the couch.
"Rainbow?"
"Yes?"
"Don't you still need to get some things from your old house before somepony comes and gets the home?"
"AW CRAP! Well, I need to go now, so i'll be back as so as possible!"
"Okay." Fluttershy said, the two then exchanged a kiss, and Rainbow was on her way.
"OH MY GOSH!!!!!" Pinkie shrieked as she jumped high into the air. After the pegasi had left, Twilight was going to head back her castle, and had invited her friends to join.
"I cannot believe Fluttershy and Rainbow are having a child! They've been married for a WEEK!" Rarity said, she was happy for them, but thought it was a little early.
"Well, they've been dating for two years."Twilight said,"Do you think they would have done this if they weren't ready?"
"I don't know...Rainbow seemed a bit overwhelmed. Perhaps she didn't expect it either?" Pinkie replied still bouncing from excitement.
"The letter Rainbow sent said she fell, and that they didn't know what was wrong with her; so she didn't know either until yesterday." Applejack added, she was as confused as the rest of them.
"Well, whatever the case, we need to support them, besides, it could be fun with a new little filly around!" Twilight said. They had reached the door to the castle and walked in. The group ventured through the crystallized hallways, and headed toward the last door to their left, which when opened, took them to the room that held their thrones. There they began discussing what they were going to do to help the couple with the foal.

Rainbow returned to the cottage with a saddlebag full of the things she wanted to keep. When she opened the door, she immediately went into defense mode, as Fluttershy was not on the couch were she had left her. After she set the bag down, she began to call for her mare."Fluttershy! Where are you!?"
"I'm right here!" Fluttershy said as she slowly walked out of the kitchen.
"What were you doing?"
"I got hungry, geez. Quit being so protective!" Rainbow went over to sit by Fluttershy, who had gotten back on the couch. She had brought a tub of ice cream and a spoon back with her."Rainbow, you act now that i'mm pregnant, i''m helpless, why?"
"I know you aren't helpless Fluttershy, but since...this...." Rainbow trailed off, and seemed if she wanted to cry.
"Rainbow, what's wrong?"
"Look, when I was little, my parents didn't seem to give a flying feather about me. I was home by myself all the time, and even when they were home, they never talked to me. So when I heard the news about our foal, I wanted to keep you perfectly safe, and I am going to make sure he or she has what I always wanted."
"Oh Rainbow, that's horrible!"
"It's fine."
"Well, you're not the only one with a bad past."
"What do you mean?"
"Well...My father died when I was seven..When he was there, he was amazing, always kind to me. However, before and even after he died, my mother was always abusive to me. After he passed, mom blamed me, so...Until I left, I had to deal with her; and I was always in my room unless I was at school. That's partially the reason why i'm so shy today." Rainbow had gone speechless, she knew her past was bad, but not as bad as Fluttershy's!
"Wow.....Well....You've got a better mom now, and your dad's come home!" Rainbow said with a smile.
"Aw Rainbow." Fluttershy responded as she pulled Rainbow in a hug, as well as exchanging a kiss.
~7 Months Later~
"Aw guys, you didn't have to do this!" Fluttershy said as Rainbow and herself had walked into Sugar Cube Corner to fins Pinkie had thrown a surprise baby shower.
"Hey, your baby is due soon, so I figured it was now, or wait ti'll he or she's born!" Pinkie said as she led the pegasi to a table where everypony struck a conversation.
"So, has the doctor set a date?" Twilight asked.
"No, he said it could be anytime, so we're being careful." Rainbow said.
"You know Fluttershy, you haven't gotten, how should I say, gotten really big."
"I know, it's probably a good thing."
"Yeah, we have another appointment for her in a couple days. Even if something happened, we have a plan for everything." The group continued to chat and have fun, everything going just as planned. But, not all parties are perfect.
"AH!!!"
"Fluttershy! What's wrong?!" Rainbow asked as she held her up with her wings.
"The baby!"
"WHAT!?" Everypony said in unison.

The two approached the train station just in time. When they boarded they went to the car they had been assigned and took a seat, were Rainbow wrapped her wing around Fluttershy's back, who leaned into the embrace."Oh Rainbow, I missed you!" Fluttershy said.
"I know AJ said something about tears?" Fluttershy pulled away and looked at her mare.
"What!? She told you!"
"Well, she told Spitfire who in turn told me." Rainbow once again used her wing to pull Fluttershy close, and allowed her to out her hooves around her back."But we're together now so don't worry! Now, we're going to be on this train for a couple hours so....I say we take a little nap."
"I couldn't agree more!" Fluttershy responded as they were both exhausted; so the two settled down on their seat, and dozed off.
Fluttershy awoke to a light tap on her back."Fluttershy, we're here. Get up." Came the sound of a tired, raspy voice.
"Okay."Fluttershy responded quietly as she slowly got up and looked behind her to see Rainbow getting up to get their bags.
When they left the train station Fluttershy was led completely by her mare friend due to the fact that she had no idea were they we going, only that it was in Canterlot. However, she was in complete shock when she saw where they were. Canterlot Castle."Rainbow, you mean to tell me we are staying at a sweet in the castle?!"
"Not only that, but it's the one right above the flora, I talked to the Princess and she let me have the room for a week! So we have until next Thursday to have little fun!" Rainbow responded as she handed a note to castle guard when they passed the gates.
Upon entering the castle room, Fluttershy was astonished to see it had a similar look to it as their bedroom at home."So, what do you want to do first?" Rainbow asked, as she placed her suitcase on a table.
"How about a stroll through Canterlot?"
"Sounds good to me, as long as we're together." Rainbow replied and put her wing around Fluttershy who fell into her protection, and they headed for the streets of the royal city.
"Do you think they made it okay!? Do you think they'll forget us while they're gone!?" Pinkie said jumping on the cutiemark map, while the other simply rolled their eyes at Pinkie's insane thoughts.
"Pinkie sit down. They're fine! Even if something DID happen, Rainbow would protect them. However, we should plan a party for their return." Twilight said thoughtfully.
"Oh! Good idea! We should plan it in their cottage, that way they'll be even more surprised." Rarity added.
"Well, I say we just talk about it ti'll Monday, and start gettin' things and setting up starting on Tuesday." Applejack suggested.
"It's settled then!" Twilight said with a smile.

"Your kidding!" Spitfire said in shock upon hearing the news of the foal.
"Nope! We're heading home tomorrow." Rainbow said, she had put her wing around Fluttershy as to insure she stayed standing.
"Well, congrats! I'll come by your room tomorrow morning to help you get your bags to the station."
"Thank you!" Fluttershy said. "Well, it's already about three o clock, we had better start heading back to the castle to pack."
"Alright, see you in the morning!" Spitfire called.
"Okie Doki!" Rainbow called back as she then continued to help Fluttershy back to their sweet.
"Here sweetie." Rainbow said as she sat Fluttershy on the stool in front of the dresser. She then pulled her mane into a ponytail so she wouldn't get to hot; tying it off with a green bow. Rainbow then proceeded to pack everything up they didn't need. "Are you gonna wear anything tomorrow?"
"No." Fluttershy said as she began to stand up.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm going to the bed. I can walk you know! I'm not COMPLETELY helpless."
"I know I know! I just want to make sure you stay safe, as to keep the foal safe."
"And that's why i'm laying down!"
That night, Rainbow climbed into bed, and setting an alarm."Why are you setting that?"
"So that Spitfire doesn't walk in and we're still out."
"Oh okay." Fluttershy responded. The two then cuddled up and fell asleep.
The next morning, Rainbow and Fluttershy were up at seven thirty, since Spitfire would be there at eight, so they had thirty minutes to get ready."Alright, Fluttershy come on, i'll pull your hair up, then we'll finish getting ready."
"Okay." She replied, then allowed Rainbow to help her to the dresser to fix her hair.
At eight, there was a knock at the door. When Rainbow opened it, Spitfire was standing there."Hey, so i've worked it out were I can ride the train home with you." She said walking in.
"Great, because I may need some help getting this stuff to our house."
"No problem, now let's get to that train."
When they walked up to the station, they handed their tickets to the conductor and got on, ready to take the trip to Ponyville.
"OHHH WHEN WILL THEY GET HERE!?!?!" Pinkie shrieked in excitement.
"Should be any minute now." Twilight said; as if on cue the train pulled up, and three pegasi came out; One holding two bags, and one, holding up the other.
"Spitfire? What are you doing here?" Applejack asked.
"Rainbow, what's wrong with Fluttershy? I thought you said she was fine!?" Rarity asked, her tone made it clear she wanted an immediate answer.
"Alright, let's head to Sugar Cube Corner, we all have explaining to do!" Spitfire said, as she handed Twilight and Applejack the two suitcases and helped Rainbow with Fluttershy to Sugar Cube Corner.
