'Celestia, damn it! Not again!' Spike raged in his head.

The dragon's claws clenched the silver tray he was holding tighter as he approached the purple alicorn. The glasses on the tray clinked due to the tremors plaguing his arms despite his best efforts to stay calm and balanced, but he knew that it was all in vain. His efforts to ignore what was in front of him had been constantly failing him for the past few years, always progressively becoming worse as each day passed by. It was tolerable when he first started hitting puberty, but now at 19 years old it was pure torture.

"Oh, thank you Spike." Twilight said as he shakily placed the loaded tray on the table next to her books.

"No prob." Spike mumbled softly as he averted his gaze from her body. Despite his best efforts he couldn't help stealing a glance at his closest friend. As usual her attention was completely focused on the pile of books and papers in front of her, allowing Spike to look at her for as long as he wished if he wanted to. His quick peek was enough; all she wore was a pair of panties and a loose-fitting tank top that she had borrowed from Rarity. Thanks to Rarity's larger bust the top hung loose on Twilight's smaller frame, exposing more of her body than should be. But as usual, Twilight remained oblivious to her surroundings, especially Spike's reddened face and awkward stance.

"Need, uh... anything else? I'm getting kind of tired." Spike asked hesitantly.

Twilight shook her head, her eyes remaining on her work as she reached for one of the glasses Spike had brought up. "No thanks, I'm not going to be up much longer." she stated. "I'll be up there in a little bit."

Without another word Spike made his way out of the room and headed for his bed. As he pushed open the bedroom door he paused and looked silently into the room. Both his and Twilight's bed were on opposite sides of the room yet no sort of barrier was in place between the two. It always annoyed him that not only did Twilight leave the space between their beds vacant, but that she constantly declined to allow him to claim a bedroom of his own. 'I'm not a little kid anymore. Why does she always treat me like one still?'

With a huff of frustration, Spike trudged to his side of the room and changed into his pajamas before climbing into bed. Though the lights were off and his eyes were closed Spike found himself unable to fall asleep, his mind filled with nothing but Twilight around the castle. Eating breakfast with only a towel wrapped around her still wet body, reading and studying in outfits similar to what she had on tonight, even exercising and stretching every morning in nothing more than her underwear... sometimes...

Spike's ears picked up the sound of Twilight approaching. He glanced over to the clock next to his bed and saw that he had been lying awake for a little over an hour. The bedroom door slowly opened and Twilight entered. Her horn glowed dimly, lighting the way just enough for her to navigate her way through the quiet halls and the dark room, but also illuminated her body in an almost hypnotic way. Spike couldn't help but turn his head towards her and watch as she walked towards her bed, wondering once more if the light wasn't enough to illuminate his side of the room enough for her to see him or if she just didn't care. Whatever the answer, Twilight stopped at the foot of her bed and slowly lifted her tank top up off her body and over her head. Spikes eyes remained locked onto Twilight's body, the contours of her upper body clearly visible to him; he could even see her nipples were erect. He continued watching her as she then slowly bent over and slipped her panties down her legs before kicking the flimsy garment aside and climbing into her own bed. As soon as she was settled under the sheets the glow of her horn dimmed, the room barely lit by the light of the moon.

It wasn't long before Twilight fell asleep but Spike remained wide awake. He tried closing his eyes once but his mind was bombarded by images of Twilight naked. This wasn't the first night he had seen his friend strip down right in front of him; in fact, it was a nightly occurrence that had gone on for almost as long as he could remember. He no longer tried to stop his erections whenever he watched Twilight preparing for bed... it was a battle he lost every time and always would. However, each night he grew more and more frustrated as he was unable to find a discreet way to relieve himself almost every night. He had already woken up Twilight a few times when he tried to jerk himself off under his sheets and he dared not to try it without some sort of cover, leaving him with no choice but to relieve himself when he was sure Twilight would be gone for long periods of time. For the most part it meant he only did so when Twilight was out of town, usually saving the day with the rest of their group of friends. However, there had been an extremely long period of calm over Equestria for almost a year, meaning Twilight had no need to leave town and could spend more time reading at home.

A lot more time.

Spike grimaced silently as he tried to ignore his throbbing hard-on. He spotted Twilight's discarded panties still on the floor and thought about retrieving them... surely they would still be warm from her wearing them all day, and her scent must be deeply embedded in the fabric, especially around the crotch-

'No. Get a hold of yourself.' Spike's conscious intervened. He flipped over to face the wall and shut his eyes again, hoping that sleep would eventually overcome him. He wanted nothing more than to give in and jump on top of her and ravage her, to satisfy the urges that currently went unfulfilled, but after restraining his instincts and wants for a while longer he finally managed to fall asleep, relief once more evading him.

"I'll see you later, Twilight. Have fun." Spike called out as he left the castle, not waiting for an answer. He didn't want to hang around for too long; Twilight and her friends were having another girls-night sleepover and Spike wanted to be far, far away from the gathering of girls. It was bad enough that Twilight tormented him every night but six sexy mares in their sleepwear would be too much for him to handle. Fluttershy thankfully dressed rather conservatively while Applejack and Rainbow Dash usually donned t-shirts and boxers. Pinkie Pie... no one could really predict what Pinkie Pie would show up in, but the main problem besides Twilight would always be Rarity. The outfits she wore left little to Spike's imagination, and on a few previous occasions she had worn outfits better slated for Hearts and Hooves Day. Then there was the matter of her outfits made from sheer fabric that she tended to share with Twilight-

'Stop it.' Spike reminded himself.

Taking a deep breath and filling his lungs with cool crisp air he headed off to his usual hangout spot. A brief fifteen minute walk brought him to his usual hangout spot, The Phoenix. Despite it being Ponyville's only bar it wasn't usually crowded, but it was a favorite gathering place for the few stallions that resided in town. Once he entered he headed straight for his normal table and ordered his usual. As soon as the bottle of Dos Equus arrived he quickly downed half the bottle in one gulp and ordered two more. His first drink was gone upon the waitress's return, and by the end of his first hour there he had polished off six bottles of beer.

"Yo Spike, what's up?" a voice suddenly called out.

Spike looked up and saw a familiar pegasus stallion had just come in and waved him over. "Hey Thunderlane, pull up a seat."

Thunderlane joined Spike at the table, ordering another round of drinks for the both of them and eyeing the waitress's rear as she walked back to the bar. "Should tap that soon." he muttered to himself before turning back to Spike. "You're here pretty late. Finally getting a day off tomorrow?" he inquired.

Spike huffed and took another large swig of his seventh beer. "Yeah, right, like I'd ever manage to get an extra day off. No, just had to get away from the castle for a bit, especially since Twi is having another sleepover tonight."

Thunderlane's ears perked up at the last bit of Spike's sentence. "Oh really?" he asked while leaning closer to the young dragon. "Is Rainbow Dash there?"

"Yeah, all of her friends are. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and AJ." Spike listed off.

"You lucky little dragon, you." Thunderlane grinned, slapping Spike on the back. "So what the hay are you doing here instead of hanging out with those hot mares?"

"Trust me, it's not as fun as it sounds." Spike muttered in annoyance. Thunderlane raised an eyebrow in doubt so Spike continued. "It's bad enough Rarity still teases me almost every time I see her, but having all six of the girls together is worse than you can imagine. I mean, I can barely stand the torture Twilight puts me through just by herself. I mean, come on! Spending almost every second at home in just her underwear is too much!"

Thunderlane couldn't help but smile as he pictured Princess Twilight strutting around her castle in mere lingerie. "She does that everyday?" he asked trying to sound sympathetic.

Spike nodded. "I know it's our home and all, but she still thinks I'm just a kid. She doesn't see me as an adult dragon with... certain needs."

Thunderlane placed a sympathetic arm around Spike. "Have you tried anything with her?" he slyly asked.

Spike was mid-drink when Thunderlane spoke, causing him to choke on his beer and cough violently. "What? Of course not!" he said once he caught his breath. "She's like a sister to me. It's... that kind of stuff is just wrong."

"You weren't saying that during that threesome with those spa sisters." Thunderlane reminded him.

"Yeah, but... yeah." Spike gave in, remembering how he spent his 18th birthday at the town spa receiving a very 'special' treatment, courtesy of Thunderlane and Big Mac.

"Come on, you gotta admit she's one of the hottest girls in town. And you get to see her like nopony else can!" Thunderlane added.

With the alcohol helping to cloud his mind, Spike nodded after a few moments. "Okay, yeah. I'd... she is hot." he admitted.

"You're damn right, she is." Thunderlane agreed, taking a large swig of his own bottle. "Seriously, you're the luckiest guy in Equestria, living with her. I'd pay out the plot for a glimpse of what you get to see, you lucky bastard."

"It's not that much fun since I can't do anything about it. She'd probably have Princess Celestia banish me if she caught me." Spike said somewhat sourly, recalling how many painful nights he had gone through.

Thunderlane looked like he was deep in thought for a few moments before he reached into his pocket and brought something out enclosed in his hand. "Would you?"

"...huh?" Spike asked, caught off guard by Thunderlane's odd question.

Thunderlane leaned in closer to Spike. "If you could do something with Princess Twilight and nopony would ever know about it, even her, would you?" he asked in a hushed tone.

Spike sat in silence as his brain processed Thunderlane's question. 'Not even she would know- no! There's no way something like that could ever happen. But if it could... I mean, it's normal, right? Twilight is a hot mare, and I do get to see her... like that... every night...

Thunderlane grinned as Spike nodded his head once. "Heh, what guy wouldn't?" he chuckled while he patted Spike's back.

As Thunderlane's hand moved back he skillfully dropped a small bottle into Spike's open shirt pocket but before Spike could investigate what was inside Thunderlane stopped him. "What's-"

Thunderlane brought a finger to his lips and winked at Spike. "One should give you six hours. And of course, I trust this will remain a secret between just us bros." he said before getting up. "Whelp, better get on home. Got work in the morning. Have fun.'

Spike sat alone for a few moments as he tried his best to collect his thoughts and figure out what exactly just happened. He eventually glanced at his watch and saw it was already past one in the morning. 'The girls must be asleep by now.' he thought. Once his bar tab was settled he got up and trudged home, making sure to take his time walking back. When he finally arrived back at the castle he smiled as only silence greeted him; a quick peek into the living room showed all six mares were fast asleep in their sleeping bags by the fireplace. He quickly scurried up to his room and shut the door behind him, glad that for the first time in many months he finally had the room to himself.

Cautiously, he extracted the bottle that Thunderlane had dropped in his pocket and inspected it closely. It was the same type of bottle doctors normally put prescription pills in but this bottle had no label on it. However, there were about a dozen round white pills with a small horseshoe stamped on each one, though Spike didn't recognize the symbol to determine what it was. 'I'm sure it's in one of Twilight's medical books.' Spike thought, but he had absolutely no intention of bothering to flip through hundreds of pages anytime soon. Instead he opened his bedside table drawer and tossed the bottle inside before clambering into bed.

'I'll have to ask Thunderlane about those pills next time I see him.' Spike thought as he drifted off to bed. However, it wasn't a top priority task to do in Spike's head, and as the young dragon drifted off deep into slumber his memory to do so drifted off deep into the depths of oblivion.

3 weeks later...

Twilight sat hunched over her desk, the top of it strewn with loose pieces of parchment, piles of books, and quills too worn out from use for any further use. Scattered around where she was seated were more piles of books, some left splayed open while others formed piles higher than the average pony. However, the mess in Twilight's study went completely unnoticed by the purple alicorn. She was too engrossed in her latest project, made even more obvious by her lack of any clothing besides her bra and underwear.

"If I... then this goes... but then... arrgh!" Twilight groaned in frustration. She angrily drew a large 'X' over yet another failed theoretical spell and wiped the parchment aside, no longer caring where it landed in proximity to the overflowing trash bin next to her desk.

"I was sure that..." Twilight mumbled as she levitated six books in front of her and began scanning the pages in no certain order. She managed a small smile as she enjoyed not having Spike around to complain; he was spending the night over at Sweet Apple Acres to help Applejack and Big Mac fix their tractor. No doubt he would be trying to talk her out of spending all day- well, the past three days trying to deconstruct Bont the Viscous' formula on the ideal cloud construction as well as any ways to further maximize the water capacity of the clouds made in Cloudsdale using any new discoveries she made. However, all the solutions she had come up with had only decreased the average cloud's water capacity or made the clouds too unstable for use.

With another new piece of parchment in front of her, Twilight began scribbling her equation once more, trying to decipher where she went wrong once more. A sudden sharp twinge flashed through her head, causing her to drop her quill and rub her head to try to subside the sudden severe headache.

'I guess I finally overdid it.' Twilight sighed. The sudden pain in her head had always been the final telltale sign that she had overworked herself, and the pain would only become worse until she finally got some sleep. A quick glance at the clock showed just how long she had been at work; it was almost 3 AM, meaning she had been awake for almost 22 hours doing nothing but writing and reading, for the third day in a row. Still, being unable to solve the problem (never mind that there may not be a better answer than the one already in use by the Weather Team) was bugging her inside, and with great reluctance she grabbed a few blank pieces of parchment before heading to bed in defeat.

Once back in her room she simply fell face first onto her bed. There was no need for her to change out of her day clothes since she spent the whole day in just her bra and panties once again. With Spike out of the castle the entire day and not due back until tomorrow, plus the fact that there was an extremely minuscule chance of anypony coming over to visit, Twilight easily concluded that the time spent dressing herself would be much better used to instead increase her studying time. She let out a muffled groan into her comforter as she began pulling herself correctly into bed, but just as she was almost in bed a fresh spark flickered in her mind.

"Wait! If the cloud base is the temperature minus dewpoint, then divide that by 4.4, then... nnh!"

Twilight grasped her head again as another bolt of pain shot through her head. She was so close to solving an important piece of the elusive equation but this damn headache was stopping her from being able to fully concentrate. Afraid that she would lose her train of thought if she waited until she woke up, she quickly jumped out of bed to search for something to help ease her mind for just a few critical moments.

"I think I have some medicine all the way bathroom, but Spike should have... aha!" she cried triumphantly, pulling out a bottle of pills from Spike's bedside table. She quickly opened the bottle and used her magic to quickly gulp down one of the white pills inside, not bothering to wash it down with any water. Instead she quickly bounded back over to her bed and began scrawling her new idea on one of the pieces of parchment she had brought up with her. She smiled as her idea became clearer as her head began to feel lighter and lighter, but after a few minutes her concentration began to waver. Her eyes began to lose focus of her own writing and it wasn't much longer until the quill silently slipped from her broken magical grasp. No matter how hard she tried Twilight couldn't find the strength or concentration to pick up the quill again, and soon it became impossible for her to even keep her eyes open any longer. All the strength in her limbs seemed to disappear which caused her to fall onto her back, the whirling sensation in her head finally overpowering her and consuming her conscious state.

She was now out cold, her barely clothed body sprawled out on her bed, exposed to anypony who walked into her bedroom. Luckily nopony else was home to see her like this.

Until Spike returned home early.
