In an alternate timeline (based on the episode "The Cutie Re-Mark"), the war against the crystal empire rages on away from PonyVille. Rainbow Dash was unfortunately chosen as one of the elite fighters to battle King Sombra alongside Princess Celestia. Fluttershy was separated from the mare she loved, and the worst part was that she never got to tell Rainbow Dash… But there is still a way. Even if they are kept away, there is nothing that can stop a letter, and letters are what Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash will exchange to communicate.

Beware, this story is quite sorrowful. You have been warned. Also, this story is written with letters, so if you don't like letters… then you might not like it.
