A protagonist is supposed to be some badass hero that can destroy hordes of anything with little more than her quick wit, her pipbuck, and her oversized shotgun. or maybe an affinity for blackjack, and naming shotguns things like 'sexy.'
The wasteland is overused as a pony apocalypse.
