"Isn't it pretty Cadenze?"Amore told her little toddler,Princess Mia Mora Cadenza. "Agoo!"The baby exclaimed as she toddled forwards her mother. Below the balcony thousands of ponies cheered as the lights slowly faded.The celebration wasn't over yet! It was tradition for the ruler of the empire to host a great banquet on the first day of the festival.Amore wanted to have the best feast ever in the history of Equestria. She had big plans.The food would be carefully prepared by the best chefs in the world and the room would be decorated elegantly.The guests would be amazed.Even Princess  Celestia would be amazed by the picky details of the party. "Come on sweetie."Amore gently cooed her child as she lifted Cadenza onto her back.The filly clinger to her mother's hair. As she walked down the hall she thought if all the guests.She was very excited to meet Star Swirl and his student,Clover the Clever.Ut wasn't every day that you meet great magic philosophers. Soon Amore reached the dining hall.When she entered grand music began to play.Her grand entrance had begun.Small portions of rose petals fell gently from above. "Hello and welcome to the Annual Chrystal Heart Feast!"She exclaimed over the music and doing her best smile. The ponies at the table clapped their hooves and cheered. Amore bowed and took her seat at the table,next to Celestia and Clover the Clever. "God job."Celestia told Amore kindly. "Thank you."Amore replied as she took a sip of her tea. "Was it hard keeping her on your back?"Celestia joked as she pointed to Amore's back.Amore had a baby nestled cost in between her wings. Amore blushed and removed her baby with her magic.She out Cadenza on the floor to play with whatever interesting things she could find. "Anyways thank you for coming Princess Celestia."Amore thanked the alicorn. "Please call me Celestia."The princess insisted. "Okay."Amore agreed as she used her magic to put some butter on her bread. The meal went on as the first course came.The soup was well made and warm. "So have you heard the rumors?"Clover then asked. "What rumors?"Amore questioned. The music stopped and the ponies all fell silent.It was so quiet you could hear a piece of hay fall. "They say that  Sombra is still out there."Clover began."They say Sombra was banished for using dark magic and being insane.He was hungry for power over the empire.When Cadenza was born many ponies became scared,because that meant you had an heir.He intends to kill your daughter Cadenza on her third birthday." Amore looked down at Cadenze,who was playing with Celestia's tail on the floor.Could her child really be in danger?Her third birthday was Tommorow,but how would Sombra know.Was Sombra dead? Celestia then argued,"But those are only rumors." Amore smile thankfully at least she had some hope that her daughter was safe from harm. *** Amore couldn't believe it.Today was Cadenza's birthday.It was also the second day of the Chrystal Heart Festival. The day seemed normally chilly and snowy.The usual.The ponies stemmed thrilled but some were nervous that the rumors might be true.Amore deep down tried to tell herself it was an everyday birthday. "It's your birthday!"Amore exclaimed to Cadenza as she held her baby high in the air. "WHEE!"Cadenze squealed happily,unaware of what might happen to her. "Your father would be so proud."Amore told her as she put the filly gently back down."Now come on we are having a special ball for your birthday." The mare put the filly on her back and headed down the hall.She walked slowly since she was nervous. All of a sudden Amore was grasped and pulled into a guest room. "WHATS THE BIG...."but then she realized it was Celestia.The alicorn had pulled her into this room.Celestia looked different ,worried and sweaty. "Amore listen."The princess began."Sombra really is out there." Amore gasped and clutched Cadenza tightly in her arms. "Sombra cast a spell so he could track you."Celestia said. Amore gulped and replied,"What..what will I do?My daughter...the kingdom..." Celestia took a deep breath and stood up straight."You must make a choice."Celestia seriously told her. Amore thought for a minute.What would she do?What COULD she do?Then it hit her. "Celestia."Amore sternly said."I am a princess and I must play my part." Celestia nodded and told Amore,"I will take Cadenza to Canterlot with me,and you..." Amore nodded. "You were a good mare."Celestia stated as she hugged Amore and took Cadenze.She then immediately flew out the window to get to Canterlot. Amore stepped out of the room and slowly walked to the ball room. She entered the door to make her last grand entrance ever.Amore then put on her best fake smile and exclaimed,"Hello and welcome to the celebration of my daughter's birthday..." Then like a bullet shot,a blast of red magic hit her. The whole crowd gasped and screamed.The guards tried to get through the hoards of Chrystal ponies to assist the princess,but they couldn't reach her. Amore was turning black like charcoal.Her hooves became hard as stone.Her mane lost it's silky feel.Her eyes were stuck in one position as well as her screaming mouth.She was stone. Princess Amore was solid rock stone. It was true. It happened. The guards ran up to the statue and began to try to break the rock,but she was stone.Not even the ends of time could change it.
