"You handled that better than I expected Error." Toriel said happily as she cut Error a slice of butterscotch pie as they sat down in their dining room, just a dug out area with a blue table with a flowerpot in the middle and six chairs, two along the sides with one at each end. The room was lit by the glowing crystals which also provided the plant with artificial sunlight. A small tunnel connected this room to the kitchen to make things easier on those living there.

"H-H-How else did you t-think I was going to ha-ha-handle it?" Error asked with his usual smile as he watched his lover place the slice of pie in front of him.

Toriel shrugged as she sat down on the chair next to Errors as she cut her own slice of pie. "I figured you'd be more hostile towards Starlight, given the nature of the situation." Toriel saw Errors smile falter. "The subject was something that you hold at a very high standard, it's not like you to be calm about someone interfering in the code of the universes."

"I-I-I know. But this w-wasn't like the other times. She d-didn't know the real effects-ects of the s-s-spell." It had taken a lot for Error to not just wipe Starlight from the code of the universe. He had spent thousands of years getting the code of the world into a perfect condition, now that work was reversed. Not only did that set him back, but it also put every living being in that world in danger of their code becoming corrupt.

"Well, I'm glad you didn't let your emotions do the talking and dealt with it the way you did." Toriel leaned over and planted a kiss on Errors forehead, causing his smile to return. "There's a happy skeleton."

"Well, it's k-k-k-kinda hard to no-not be happy with you around-ound." Error teased while using his strings to pull her close to him and placed his forehead on hers, causing her to giggle before wrapping her arms around him.

"I love you Garic." She whispered softly.

"I l-love you too Megan." Error replied, doing his best to keep his glitch out of his voice while saying it. Whenever they had a tender moment or needed to be serious, they would use their own names, not the names of their characters. Even after thousands of years, their love stayed strong, disagreements were far and few, almost centuries apart. While stuck with each other underground for over a century, it's a wonder how they still keep each other entertained and keep the relationship interesting.

No one could deny the bond they shared. Brought into an unfamiliar world together and they stayed together. Looking out for each other and making up for the others flaws.

"You know, I want to visit the surface again." Toriel said quietly as she hugged her significant other.

"R-Really?"

"Yeah, I've been down here for a thousand years, I'd like to see how everything has changed since we were last on the surface together."

"Alright th-then." They finished off their slices of pie before getting out of their seats. Toriel took Errors hand as he glitched them up to the surface. They didn't need physical contact for that though, she just wanted to be close to him.

"So he just showed up and kidnapped you?" Twilght asked Starlight concerned.

"He didn't kidnap me, he just brought me somewhere we could talk in private and then brought me back to the castle." Starlight assured as she explained what had happened to the mane six who were all very interested in what she had to say about the newcomer.

"Where'd he take you anyway?" Rainbow Dadh added while hovering beside Starlight.

"To an underground garden in his home."

"You were underground?" Twilight asked interested.

"Yeah, we were inside Canterlot mountain. He's got an entire tunnel system in there that acts as his home."

"I-It's cozier than y-y-you'd think." They all heard the voice of Error speak nearby. Looking over to the right the mares saw Error and Toriel standing together. Toriel was busy taking in the changed world while Error looked to the mares. "Couldn't help b-but hear you lo-ot taking about little o-o-old me."

As Twilight was about to speak up, Fluttershy pushed to the front of the group. "Oh my gosh! A goat!"

She rushed over to Toriel and began examine each part of her with great interest.

"I've never seen this species of goat before. What food do you eat? Can you talk at all? Can you-" Fluttershy just began bombarding Toriel with questions, so while she was busy Error turned back to the girls.

"So...what do yo-o-o-o-ou girls d-do for fun around h-here?"

"Um, mister Errir, if you wouldn't mind, I'd actually like to ask you a few questions." Twilight tried with confidence, only to fail.

"S-Sorry kid, but there's t-t-things about me you d-do NOT want or n-need to know." Error quickly countered as he meddled with his strings. "You ain't g-g-getting anything out o-of me."

Twilight sighed and threw her quill and paper. "Fine. What are you doing on the surface anyway?"

"T-Toriel wanted to see the-the-the surfaces again after one thousand years. We've w-waited until we-we-we were once again needed-ed. With other e-e-errors showing up a again, w-we need to be-be on the surface." The mares all looked to each other worriedly, remembering what Error Moon was like, fearing more would appear. To know there was someone in the world that could fight of the nightmarish creatures gave them all hope that they could survive.

As they turned to watch Fluttershy interact with Toriel they all missed the figure from the void looking down at them. Error sensed something nearby and looked up, seeing it standing in a cloud of dark fog. He narrowed his eyes as he glitched up to the cliff that the figure had been on.

When he took a step forward her readied a Gaster blaster as he saw two glowing red dots in the mist. A claw was swung at him but he dodged and fired a beam with the blaster. This repeated for a few moments before he summoned more Gaster blasters, surrounding himself in them before preparing to fire.
