Fallout zx

I streached my arms as I gave the object before me a rest from the sand paper I was using on it. It was going to be my best prop done yet for my costume for the upcoming megaman convention. I was going as a mixed timelines megaman combining megaman zx with megaman nt warrior and starforce. I decided to call this version of megaman, megaman cross. The emblem I decided on for the costume was the hikari family emblem from the nt warrior series altered into a 'X' instead of the diagonal line and in the center was the star from the starforce megaman. I crafted that out of clay and glued it to the front of the bodysuit I was going to use. It looked like the one worn in zx but with the cross fusion cyber lines and the armor was a mix of both starforce and zx in design.

The prop I was working on was going to be my own original weapon for megaman cross. It resembled the break gunner from Kamen rider drive in general shape but was more streamlined and had a more gun like form. The hand guard was more slightly bulky being 4 inches thick and was having a latch as one side was transparent clear plastic. It was large enough to fit a small deck of cards and above was a slot for the cards to be slid in with a built in card reader I pulled from a old kamen rider blade rouzer. On the back of the handle was another slot for what any megaman fan would know as battle chips. It was on the part that was angled to rest on the forearm. Inside that part of the prop was a chamber that can hold up to twenty battle chips. On the top veiw of the prop was a small 1 by 1 scale screen and at the end of the prop was a blue glass like gem that was shaped like a diamond that was in my designs where the beam like blade was to be emitted based on either the sword battle chips or battle cards. The actual gun portion of the weapon was yet another glass gem only this time a orb held in the very front of the weapon. Took me some time to sculpt the white clay to hold the orb without it being able to fall out. I alternated the colors to be blue and white which worked in my favor. I called it the cyber wave buster.

I was sanding down the object to smooth out the edges so I didn't accidently cut myself when holding it.

I was now working on the right guantlet on my costume making sure it wasn't going to get damaged when I use the cyber wave buster in that hand.

Yes I'm right handed don't think to much on that.

Oh where are my manners by now you must be wondering who I am? My name is Delta Cross a black haired teen with blue eyes dressed in a blue jacket over a black shirt and black jeans.

I designed the guantlets to be more like knight armor in shape as I didn't have a way to combine the guantlet designs of the two timelines of megaman. Reason being zx looked a bit bulky, nt looked more like a glove then armor, and starforce was more akin to a thin layer of rubber then protection. I wanted the gauntlets and grieves of the costume to actually resemble armor. And the last part of the costume besides the helmet was the actual object to transform. I based it off the access pet crossed with a biometal and made it wearable on the arm like the transer. Meaning like the transer it had a device that was mounted on the arm and can allow the device to be removed. I slimmed down the transer like device to not make it so blocky and kept it at a size to be a better fit for the pet like part. It was pretty much about the size of a slight over sized watch or to be more specific the original omnitrix from Ben 10. Before it's reformatting in alien force when Ben wore it at age 15. That kind of proportion. It had a slide and lock kind of thing for the pet/biometal. Just remove that grey hoop at the side of the access pet and make it look like the face like design of the biometal. I designed the 'mouth' of the device was the lid and the part holding it of the pet part. Meaning pull down the lower jaw as it were and the upper part and the face would flip revealing the usual set up of the access pet including a battle chip slot. And like everything the colors was blue and white. I made the device about half a inch thick while the transer like part of it was about a full inch with the top half inch in the back half be where the device can be slid in and then locked. I had to etch in the slot myself as I made this out of clay as well but at least made sure it was able to lock.

The helmet of the costume had been mainly based off the one worn by megaman model x from the zx games. Only the red triangular glass of the helmet had been switch for the starforce star and had the created emblem over the ear area. I was going as a reploid for this costume. The chest armor was a actual knight chest plate that had the front on two hinges from the sides and can latch both halfs together to make it seem seamless. I cut a hole to let the armor fit over the emblem I placed on the chest. Just had to make the armor padded on the inside and make sure it wasn't going to hinder my movements. I only made it the upper torso so I can still bend my spine. Around the waist I crafted a holster for the cyber wave buster on the right hip. I even added to the helmet by giving it the face mask from cross fusion megaman and the visor of starforce. The armor was blue with white trim color scheme wise.

Once I was sure the armor was okay I pulled on the costume and made sure it was working perfectly and holstered the cyber wave buster. I forgot to mention but the convention was in three hours and I was finishing up some last minute work on the costume so I headed out. I had my wallet in a hidden pocket of my costume so I could pay for the stuff I was looking forward to get. It took me a hour to get to the convention center at a light jog and the other two hours waiting in line and then getting through the security check.

Man was the placed packed I saw many cosplayers of the two megaman timelines and I actually laughed when a group of megaman from the final smash of the megaman of smash brothers wondered what version I was dressed as.

"Im dressed as a mixed timeline megaman. Specifically a megaman from the zx and starforce megaman eras who also used the battle chip system from the net Navi era. I'm sure that there are a few mixed timeline au for the two but I have a hard time remembering" I informed the group.

"Neat! Definitely original design and cool looking prop you have! It has both a battle chip system and battle card system right? You can join us for a contest on who has the best megaman costume that's scheduled today at noon!" Said the starforce megaman of the group.

"I'll take up your offer I better go browse the shops first who knows what I can find here. Also refer to me in costume as megaman cross" I said with a laugh.

"The contest is in a hour so meet us at the event stage at the east hall" said the cross fusion megaman waving bye as the group split up.

And so I browsed the stands and stores finding some good merchandise I can afford. Such as a replica of bass' cloak, a modern version of robot rush painted blue, and not to mention a replica of geo seller's star necklace.

Soon though it was time to go to the contest so I put away the merch I gotten and signed up for the event placing the stuff I got into a assigned locker and keeping the key in my pocket.

The competition was fierce as one after another megaman after megaman went up to be judged by the crowd and soon enough the group I met went up to pretend they were acting out the final smash making the crowd excited. Then came my turn.

"Up next is a complete original megaman who if I read this right comes from a mixed timeline! Give it up for megaman cross!" Said the Mc of the event and that was my cue so I dashed on stage at high speed and stopped appearing before the crowd as if I teleported from a frequency change or area steal.

I quickly drew my cyber wave buster and aimed it at a invisible foe as I spoke out the small line I came up for this part.

"Hold it right there wild card your finished" I said my voice altered a bit to sound slightly electronic and everyone was stunned by the detail of my costume and knew I was acting out a scene from the mixed timeline to them which made them way more excited.

"Amazing! Such detail! In all my years have I never before seen such a amazing suit! It holds a quality that is hard to match and shows the creativity in the creator for it. And that line sounds epic! Thank you for the stunning appearence megaman cross please head back until we call up the results" said the Mc and I spun the cyber wave buster and reholstered it before nodding and heading backstage. It was then the audience had finally reacted with quite the amount of cheers.

Back in the waiting area I went to the final smash group and gave them a unseen smirk.

"So how did I do" I asked them and the only female of the group giggled.

"I think you stole the show there. I doubt anyone can top that! You went for originality and created that costume to such detail that you trump a lot of people. Your pretty much going to be the winner by a landslide" said the female megaman zx and the others nodded.

"I hope so I worked six whole months making this I didn't want all that work going to waste!" I said making them gawk.

"Damn you spent half a year making this! You must have been good at prop making!" Said the classic megaman.

"Yep been at the trade for seven years now. Learned from my old man. The easiest to make was the emblem on my chest. The rest of the stuff took me a month each to complete" I said with a slight bit of amusement.

Soon we were called back out and as the female megaman zx predicted I won by a landslide. Turned out the prize was a complete set of battle chips which included Navi chips. They didn't have double soul chips though so I accepted them and had them placed in a pouch on the belt I had to fit them. After retrieving my stuff from my locker and returning the key I put on the cloak and the necklace and held the azure rush which now that I took a closer look looked like a lot like cybeast gregar the wolf like cybeast.

It was then I noticed a out of the way stand manned by who looked to be copy x. Approaching I saw it was full of random merchandise but what caught my eye was the stack of battle cards with the top one looking like the star break pegasus card.

"Ah I see you have noticed the battle cards" said the merchant sounding exactly like copy x.

"Yeah they would go great with my costume. I made this so they were compatible" I said showing the cyber wave buster.

"Oh nice custom! Were you the one who won that contest today? If so these might also interest you" said the merchant pulling out a complete double soul set from the exe version as it was of the souls not seen in the us but the Japanese seasons. I nodded and asked him how much for the cards and the double soul chips.

"The double soul battle chips are $20 for the whole set the cards are all together $25 so that would be $45 total" said the merchant and I handed over the exact amount.

"Have fun" said the merchant before I saw a bright flash and then darkness.

Ouch what the hell was that! For some reason I felt very different and why can't I see?

Suddenly something appeared that gave me a very bad feeling.

and with that forboding text the darkness was replaced by a fuzzy image that with a slight click and whirl focused into the sight of a forrest. And I was out of costume sans the device on my arm and my pouch of battle chips and now a deck case holding my battle cards. I was now dressed in a black jacket over a bodysuit that was just black and white pants. My hands had the tell tale white tips reploid hands had so I quickly reached up to my ears and found they were replaced by the head set like items reploid had.

It was official I was no longer human but as damned close as I can be. Meaning I was effectively immortal if I didn't get my body blown up. At least I can still have kids if needed. But first I need to freak out.

After my little mental breakdown I got to work figuring out where the hell I am and if my custom gear was now real.

So to do that I got off the ground and looked to the device on my left arm.

"Any idea what the hell just happened to me" I asked curious.

-as far as I am aware we have been taken to a seperate reality and are now in a world in what had to be post apocalypse if the amount of radiation is anything to go by- said the device on my arm I really needed to name it soon.

"Shit and me becoming a hyper advanced android that is the closest thing to human is at least good in that I don't have to worry about the radiation" I said thankful it seemed I was full machine just able to do everything a human can and that included dna.

-agreed databank has supplied me with the new name you have in this world. You are now known as azure gear- said my device.

"I'll just go by gear then any Intel on our location something about this is setting off my danger protocol" I said faintly noticing that there was a alert in my head.

-current location is known by locals as the everfree forrest of equestria. Intact data links show that things have not been that well for this world for centuries- informed my device.

"Shoot must be the fallout equestria universe any idea if the locals are humaniod" I asked narrowing my eyes as I knew a friend who was a brony and had informed me about key characters and popular aus. So the ones I needed to get in contact with was either Twilight sparkle and Spike the dragon.

-data shows that inhabitants are humaniod but some have undergone severe radiation mutations and have become feral- informed the device showing a hologram of a anthro pony mare in a blue jumpsuit and what looked like a kind of zombie looking thing with melted skin.

"Shoot definitely fallout that means we possibly have mutant creatures stalking me at the moment and that includes the plants here. I need to head to ponyville and see about getting into contact with someone who can explain the situation to me" I said and lucky me due to my costumes bases I can see the wave roads that were created by the event of the bombs as electromagnetic waves are a form of radiation now to test if this should work.

"Cyber wave! Rock on!" I called and the device on my arm glowed before it dispersed into data and em waves. A sphere of energy formed around me before the emblem was put together and placed on my chest leaving me in the bodysuit before the em waves traced the cross fusion lines onto the suit as my necklace was removed and sent above me. Data swirled around my arms forming the guantlets as em waves formed the lower armor. Blocks appeared before attaching to form the torso armor that then closed and the star pendent lowered to my head before in a soft glow the helmet formed and closed. At my waist the belt formed and on it was my holster for my weapon that was then created in my hand as I spun it into place as the cloak then formed over my body completing the transformation. With that I was now standing on the wave road as the energy feild vanished.

From up here I saw it was a pack of glowing Timberwolves that was what was stalking me. With that now known I was speeding down the wave road to the direction of ponyville and man what a bunch of ruins it was. Sweet apple acres no longer was even in existance and I saw the tree library so this happened before twilight accended to alicorn so that left me locating Spike to find out what happened here. To my surprise just as I entered the remains of the library a em wave being appeared. It kinda looked exactly like Twilight sparkle but made of purple energy and was dressed in a way that was very stern yet held a sense of grace.

I blinked and walked to her as she was mumbling about theives and raiders and how no one respected books anymore. Seeing as I was getting very sure this was some em waves that took on a kind of imprint off Twilight herself I bet she knew what was going on.

"Excuse me miss but can I talk with you for a moment" I asked and she jumped with a startled look on her face before glaring at me thought also confused.

"Who are you and thank Celestia you aren't one of the rude people stealing from the library no one seemed to be aware I'm here" said the being and I changed my mind about her being a echo if she didn't know what she was.

"Considering your made of electromagnetic waves I don't think they could see you or even interact with you. Only way I'm doing so now is that I can see and interact with em waves" I said my tone being deadpan.

"Electromagnetic waves?" asked the being confused.

"Think of them as a kind of radio signal mixed with a form of radiation. You likely was created out of a kind of imprint off the previous owner of this building. If you haven't noticed it looked like the world ended and is trying to be rebuilt. Right now we are on the em world that's been created from the radiation that caused it. Haven't you wondered what these yellow roads were and why you can see what's going on below?" I explained as I tapped the wave road with my foot.

"Ah makes a bit of sense but no I haven't noticed I been always in this place for the past 400 years and I been trying to stop the Raiders from causing more damage but I just go through them" said the being.

"That's because unlike you they are not energy you are not that solid to matter only em waves are able to be solid to you until you can learn how to create matter waves" I said deadpan.

"But what about you how are you here" asked the em being curious.

"You can say I'm kinda between the differences of matter and em waves. Let me explain how I got to this universe and you will know for the most part" I said before explaining to her about my world, the multiverse theory and how I found myself here and how I was no longer human but as close to it as possible.

She took the info quite well and was thinking hard about something.

"Well as strange as it is I guess I don't have a reason to stay here. Though I now would like to meet the person I was based off to think magic managed to replicate a concept of this other world of your is stange" said the being.

"Hey not as strange as to that fact this universe is a blend of two seperate realities I knew em waves were a type of radiation so I took a guess it had created the wave world and came in handy as I got away from radiated Timberwolves. if your coming with me we are heading to canterlot maybe Celestia and luna can help explain how this whole mess started and maybe we can locate Twilight sparkle the person your base came from that reminds me do you have a name to go by" I said.

"I mainly go by Arcane as most of the books that are still here are on magic" said the now named Arcane.

I nodded before reversing the transformation and holding up my device.

"You can enter this until we get to our destination you can use a hologram to show yourself when we are there" I said as I pulled up the map and marked canterlot as my next destination and I saw the purple em waves zoom into my device.

"Thanks I won't regret leaving this place also nice to meet the operating system of the cw cross" said arcane making the 'eyes' flash as she spoke.

"Cyber wave figures I based the device off the pet and transer plus the biometal of three different but similar universes. Let's get going anyway we got a lot of ground to cover" I said before transforming again and started going down the wave road.

My journey into this ruined world had begun and I knew that by the end of it I can help restore it or finish the job depending on what happens but I plan on doing the former no matter what. It was time to bring peace back to this world as its own rockman! Cyber wave rutine set ride on!
