Chapter 1 - FlutterJackView OnlineSwitchedChapter 1 - FlutterJackFluttershy opened her eyes, Staring at the ceiling of her cottage. She sighed. She rolled over onto her side, cathing a few more minutes of rest. Then she opened her eyes again, getting out of bed. She trotted to her bathroom and tooked up at the mirror. She screamed and ducked down low. There was somepony in her house! She decided to say something. “P-please dont hurt me... Or any of my animals... You can take my bits...” She squealed. She waited for a minute. Then five. Then after twenty minutes, she shakily got up off of the floor. When she looked in the mirror again, she did not shriek or scream. She just narrowed her eyes at the pony infront of her, who did the same at the same time. This is what I look like. Fluttershy realized. She looked at herself closely. Apple green eyes, straw yellow mane, and orange body, and NO WINGS? What? No wings? What would she do without them? Was she now just an earth pony? She screamed. She was able to simmer down quite quickly despite the loss of her wings. At least she had the same cutie mark. She decided that she looked just like her friend applejack. Well, the same colour. She still had her mane and tail style. They were the same. She resorted to seeing that her animals were not afraid of her. “Its okay, friends.” She said in her own calm voice. “Im fluttershy, and im a friend.” About a half an hour later, she exhaled and sat down. She had to only feed the birds, last on her list, and then she would go see applejack. She trotted outside, singing. “La la la la la... la la la la laaa.” The birds that were ussually in the tree were nowhere to be seen. But fluttershy knew better than to go looking for them. The birds would never abandon their babies. “Its okay, birdies. Its just me... you can come out!” She layed four dozen worms on the ground infront of the tree. Then she waved and headed at breakneck speed -galloping, of course, not flying- to sweet apple acres. Applejack was jut tired. She got out of bed, lazily walking down stairs. It was very early morning, and so none of her family members were there to see her. She grabbed her hat off of a hook near the door and placed it on her pink -of course she didint know that though- mane. She sat down in a chair and started munching on an apple thoughfully. Then she finnaly looked down at her hooves. “What in the hay...?” She moved her yellow hoof around, curious to see what had happened. She had so far been to tired to notice her change. She looked down, seeing that she had butter yellow hind legs too. And as if that wasnt enough, A strand of her pink mane fell into her eyes. “Gaah!” Applejack exclaimed. She looked back at her tail. It was a faint pink, just like her friend fluttershy's. “What is this?” She said. Then she noticed the wings. Small, feathered, and butter yellow, they rested, folded on her back. “GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.” She yelled, then clamping a hoof over her mouth as not to wake her family. “Alright. Calm down, Aj. So you look a lot like fluttershy. No big deal. Your fine.” She looked at her wings again and squealed. Wings? Like, a pegasus? She decided to go outside and try them out. She stood infront of the barn and unfolded her wings. She gave them a flap, expecting to be lifted into the air. She gave about five more, her hooves just barely being lifted. And she was already cavered in sweat. “Wow. This is harder than it looks. Come on, Aj. Be a hummerbird. I mean, hummingbird.” She started to flap her wings very fast. About two beats per second. Her hooves came up, and she was off the ground. She stopped beating her wings, and fell to the ground with a start. She landed with a hard 'oof.' About that time fluttershy arrived, seeing Applejack folding her wings. AJ looked up. “Fluttershy!” “Applejack?” “You look like me!” “You stole my wings!” “Your an earth pony!” “Oh, im sorry.” They both stopped talking, looking at each other. Flutterhsy came closer and looked at AJ's wings. “That flyin' thin' is sure harder tha it looks.” Aj exclaimed. “No, It's actually pretty easy, I was just born with very weak wings. Thye dont work the way other pegesi ones do. So it taked more energy to get me off the ground.. But umm... years of practice.” Aj nodded. “Oh, look. Your cutie mark is the same, just like mine is.” fluttershy pointed. It was true. Three bright shiny red apples were on her yellow flank, sealing her identity. “So.. um. Would you like to know more about how to fly?” She asked, looking at the ground. “Boy, would I?” And so their training began.
Chapter 4 - CanterlotView OnlineSwitchedChapter 4 - CanterlotSix switched ponies gathered in Twilight's small library. They were all talking at once. “QUIEEEEEEEET!” Twilight hollered. Everypony fell silent. “Thank you. Now, as you all know we have been... Switched. I have nothing to do with it, and I dont know how it happened, or a cure.” She said. “This is a very serious matter.” “Maybe even serious enough for Canterlot!” Rairty said. Pinkie and some others nodded. “Very well. We will take this matter to canterlot. I will send a letter to the princess right away. Rainbow Dash?” Rainbow nodded, And her horn lit up with a pink flare as a quill and a paper flew over to her. Rainbow wrote while Twilight talked. “Dear princess Celestia, Me and My five friends have been challenged with a very serious matter. It is of great importance and needs to be taken up immidiately. We are now boarding a train to canterlot, and will be there in a few hours. The matter is to confusing to write here. I await your good response. Your faithful student, Twilight sparkle.” Rainbow finished the letter with a flourish and wrapped it up. “Spike is'nt here, so we can send one of Fluttershy's birds to send it.” They tied the letter to the falcon's back and sent it to the princess's castle. Then they packed their things and boarded a train to Canterlot. Once there, The six ponies ran through the tiny white flakes that fell from the sky. They took a train to the royal palace and When thye got there, they were exhausted from all the travelling. “Lets take a rest at one of the rooms. We can talk to the princess in the morning.” They sent another letter to the princess and, exhausted, fell into the beds they got. They fell asleep quite quickly. In the morning, they all got up bright and early. Rarity brushed her mane. Pinkie bounced. Fluttershy worried about her animals. Applejack stretched her wings. Rainbow dash fell asleep again, and Twilight sent another letter to the princess. They were ready. Twilight easily got an audience with the princess, who was concerned about twilight and her friends. The notes she had gotten sounded pretty urgent. “Princess celestia!” Twilight exclaimed. “Twilight.... sparkle?” The princess said. Rainbow dash stepped forward and so did twilight. “Im not twilight.” Rainbow said. “I just look like her. She looks like me.” “Oh... kay.” Celestia sighed. “What has happened to you all?” “Weeeeeeeeeell, its kind of a long story.” Pinkie said. “I sure I can keep up, rarity. I mean pinkie pie.” The three groups of switched ponies told their stories with exaggerated confusion. The princess just listened. “I Dont exactly know what has happened to you. Perhaps discord has something to do with it.” The three ponies shivered at his name. “From your stories I understand that Applejack and Twilight sparkle can fly?” They both nodded. “Rainbow dash, can you use magic? What about pinkie?” The princess asked. “Twilight taught me.” Rainbow said. “But I cant use magic.” Pinkie frowned. “Have you tried to use magic?” The alicorn asked. “Well... no...” “So then of course you can, you just havent been taught to use it. That's okay. Rarity can teach you during the time you spend here. You will stay at the castle untill we cure you.” “Thank you, Princess.” Twilight said. “Wowie, I sure am tired.” Applejack faked a yawn. “A'hm goin to bed. See y'all.” Applejack was not tired. She just wanted to sort things out. She was confused. She just needed a little time on her own. The workpony galloped to her chamber. “We just woke up abut an hour ago. Did applejack just... lie?” Twilight asked.
Chapter 5 - What is this, I dont even...View OnlineSwitchedChapter 5 - What is this, I dont even...The next day, Rarity was working on the dress she had to make for a client. Her beautiful pink curls had blue highlights in them. The highlights were the colour of her cutie mark. Fluttershy sat next to her, watching Rarity do her work. “This is a much harder job without my magic.” Rarity said. “Oh, I know. I've been feeling very down these days, and to tell you the truth, Im kind of jealous of Applejack and my wings. I miss my wings.” Fluttershy looked at the ground. “My, my. That was quite a confession. I appreciate your honesty, Fluttershy.” Rarity said. Fluttershy broke the moment when she saw Rarity about to hoof-stitch the hem of the skirt. “Oh, rarity... That should be um, machine stitched.” She put in. Rarity looked down and saw that fluttershy was right. She laughed. “Oh, thank you, fluttershy. Silly me...” She said, and brought the skirt to the machine. As she stitched the skirt together, the only sound was that of the sewing machine. Rarity started humming. Twilight and Applejack were playing ball, flying around and batting it back to each other. “Hah” Applejack grunted as she kicked the ball to Twilight. Twilight jumped into the air, beat her wings, and kicked it back with little force. The ball landed in the middle of the two. Twilight and applejack looked at each other at the same time. Then they grinned and dived for the ball. They fought over it, kicking and biting over it. Eventually, the ball got kicked away and they were fighting over AJ's hat. Twilight grabbed it and flew into the air, applejack right on her tail. She snatched it out of Twilight's hooves and flew to the ground. She hid it behind her back. “Applejack, give it back! I just wanna try it on.” Twilight said. “Give what back?” “The hat.” “What hat?” “The one that's behind your back.” “Whats behind my back?” “The hat.” “Theres a hat behind my back?” “APPLEJACK!” She screeched. “I dont have a hat. I never did have a hat.” Applejack grinned and gave it to Twilight. Deep down, Twilight though that Applejack should'nt be lying. It just was'nt her... But instead, Twilight giggled and took the hat into her cyan hooves. The Rainbow Dash that looked like Twilight was cheering. She had suxesfully managed to teleport herself across the room. She took a deep breath in, focused her energy, and *ZAP* she was back on the right side of the room, next to pinkie pie. Pinkie cheered. “Nice work, dashie! I wonder if Rarity's magic is stron enough to do that, too!” “I dont think so, pinkie. Unicorn magic is supposed to help the pony with her special talent. Nothing more. Rarity's talent is dressmaking and fashion. Twilight's is magic.” Rainbow said. “I have to go to the little fillies room. Ill be right back!” Pinkie shouted, and ran off. Rainbow dash lifted a glass of applejuice torward herself with her magic. She took a few thoughtful sips, glancing at her purple hooves. It was kind of wierd, being in Twilight's body. She had the exact same colour of everything... even a horn! Pinkie bounced into the room, a few fruit tarts floating into the room along with her. “That was fast, pinkie. Did you even go to the bathroom?” Rainbow dash looked at her. “oh yeah, I didint... I was just walking along and a baker pony came by with a tray. She was very nice and gave me these tarts! And, I guess I got distracted... Gotta go!” Rainbow grinned and rolled her eyes. Typical pinkie. She looked a the fruit tarts. They looked really good. Her stomack growled. Surely pinkie wouldnt mind... One of the tarts obidiently came to her. She gobbled it down in seconds. It was really good! Rainbow dash looked down and kicked the ground. She tried whistling. She waited... And then pinkie got back. She bounced into the room, a smile on her face. “Oh, pinkie... your back... I hope you dont mind, but I took one of your fruit tarts... sorry.” Pinie looked at the table with the small cakes. “Oh, thats fine! There are still lots and lots. Want another one?” Rainbow grinned. By the time Twilight and Applejack got to the room, Rainbow dash and pinkie pie were layed out on the bed, their stomacks swollen. “I think I ate to many tarts...” Rainbow groaned. “Rainbow! What did you do to me?” Twilight exclaimed. Rainbow chuckled unisily. Suddendly, Rarity burst into the room. “Pinkie! I need you help! This gown does not look good! I just had the sudden urge to pu lots and lots of candy on it, oddly enough. I think you can help me.” She cried. Pinkie walked up and inspected the gown. “Hmm.” She said. “The skirt hem should be shorter. The shoes dont exactly match the colour of the shawl, these bows over here are not suitable. Maybe move them over here? Small blue dots, what were you thinking? Oh, yeah, and... the whole thing looks too... poofy...” Rarity was stunned for a little while. “Come and help me now. I need my own advice!” Rarty said, and leaded pinkie out of the room. “This is getting really strange. Its almost like, our bodies switched and our minds... its really confusing...” Rainbow said. Twilight suddedndly burst into laughter, earning her stares from the entire room. “What?” She said. “The funny thing is, thats exactly what I was going to say.”
Chapter 6 - What is happening to my friends?View OnlineSwitchedChapter 6 - What is happening to my friends?Rarity hummed mindlessly, trotting through the gardens of the royal palace. “La la la la la... la la la la la...” She stopped and sniffed a flower. It smelled sweet and bilowy. Like a cupcake, if that made any sense! “La la la la la...” She trotted on, admiring some of the topiaries in the garden. Then she came to a clearing. She trotted to the middle, seeing somehting small and pink. “A cupcake? What the lokie?” She said. It was a cupcake. A chocolate one with pink icing and a pink wrapper. Rarity grinned. She loved cupcakes!!!! She grabbed it in her hooves and dug in. It was delicious. She giggled and licked the icing of her face. Then she trotted out of the garden, not bothering to really wonder who left the cupcake in the middle of the roayl garden. “La la la la la la la...” She giggled and trotted on, unaware that a confuzed pegasus was watching her. Twilight sparkle scratched her head. Rarity didint care that she had icing all over herself, she just licked it all up. That was so unlike her fashionista friend. “Hmm...” She scratched her head again. Rarity stopped caring about her appearance. She also likes cupcakes now. She wrote on a piece of paper. Pinkie pie wandered in the royal halways, looking at the portraits of royalty. She glanced at one of prince blueblood and winced. Knows how snobby prince blueblood is. At the end of the hall was another test Twilight had layed out for her. There was a cake and a very poorly made dress. Pinkie pie looked at the cake and turned up her nose. Then she came to the dress. “Oh, my!” She exclaimed. “What happened to this dress?” She looked around. Using her magic, she rearranged some things on the dress. She even used the thread and needle a little in her work. “A little bit of this over here, and some of this.... here you go... this will look better... oh, no no no... hmm... oh, IDEA!” She talked to herself in her work. After she was done, she nodded to herself and looked arund again, not seeing Twilight, flying up abover her. Rarity walked away, ignoring the cake. Dosent like cake anymore. Has to correct fashion mitakes. Twilight stopped flying and looked at the dress. Wow. Pinkie had done a really good job. Is really good at it. She added to the list. She heard rarity coming back and flew up to the ceiling again. “I knew I should have moved this part to over here...” Pinkie mumbled. “There.” Then she galloped away. Twilight was just looking at her list when she happened to come along Applejack. The two bumped into each other. Applejack lifter heself with her wings. Her hooves went to her face. “Oh, mah. Are y'all right?” Twilight got up and nodded. “No, really is there somethin' I cud do de help?” Applejack looked worried, like Twilight was going to hit her or something. “Applejack, its okay... You fine. Im alright.” Twilight grinned. “Oh, uh.. okay. See ya'll later...” Applejack flew timidly away. Twilight stalked her from the roof again, like she did to pinkie. For a while, she just flew around mindlessly. Then a statue fell and Applejack jumped and squeaked. “What is happening to my friends?” Twilight exclaimed.

Twilight slept in, not caring about the Zebra's visit much. Rainbow Dash was up at five, looking through the library books. Rarity's voice changed, and she could not keep still. She was either talking really fast or bouncing up and down. Fluttershy started wearing Applejack's hat. Applejack lied more often so that she could sit in the corner and cower. Rainbow dash decided to take charge. “Everypony, get to the princess's chambers immidiately. That's where we were supposed to meet Zecora.” Everypony shuffled into line and trotted to the princess's quarters. When they got there, the princess was pacing. When she saw the element's of harmony's state, she panicked. “What is happening to all of you?” She asked. “Nevermind, just meet with zecora now.” Zecora came in the room and for a while said nothing. She just walked around and observed them. The room was ridiculously silent. It was deafening. You cold hear a pin drop. Zecora had come to a conclusion. She broke the silence. “Then elements of harmony, what have you gotten yourselves into? I do have a remedy, for your terrible state of loocoo.” “Loocoo?” Rainbow dash asked. “Is that the disease we have? I didint find it in any of my, I mean, Twilight's books.” “I believe your trend is from a nasty old friend.” “So, you think you know how we got it?” Rainbow dash eagerly asked. The zebra nodded. “The blue flowers once again have much power.” Zecora inquired, looking at the Elements of Harmony. “Wait... blue flowers? The poison joke! We stepped in it a couple of days before we got this... change!” Rainbow dash concluded. “I want my magic back, change me now!” “For poison joke, the remedy is the same. Take a bubblebath for the sickness to be tame.” Zecora said. Immidiately a royal bubblebath was ordered. Even zecora bathed with them! The bubblebath was claming. As slowly as the change came, It dissapeared. One morning the ponies found that they had their manes and tails back. Even their colours! But Twilight just kept thinking; Why the hell didint I think of that? The end.
Chapter 2 - Rainbow SparkleView OnlineSwitchedChapter 2 - Rainbow SparkleRainbow Dash woke up on the floor next to her bed. She opened her eyes, immidiately sensing a problem. Every morning she ussually Stretched out her wings. But today, she didint feel them. “My wings!” She yelled. She fliped over into a wierd position. She could see that her wings were gone. Gone gone gone. She yelled. She screameed. After about an hour of freaking out, she calmed down. She looked into a mirror. She had lavender purple body, a dark purple mane with a pink stripe, no wings, and a horn. The only thing that told her she had'nt lost her bananas was her cutie mark. It was still the same, still Rainbow dash. Then she realized. She looked just like twilight. Cool. She decided that she must get to twilight and tell her to make her her again. Technically, she was still a pegasus pony, right? So... technically... she could still walk on clouds, right? She ran across them, gratefull that they didint fall underneath her. She was about to jump off her clouden house when she remembered she would probably die. “Right. No wings.” Rainbow held back tears. And so she waited for a cloud to hover close enough for her to jump on and It took her to the ground. Once there, she galloped at high speed to her friend's house. She opened the door to find twilight there. She had cyan blue body, and a rainbow mane and tail. Her horn was gone, but she had wings, neatly folded on her back. Her cutie mark stayed the same. “Rainbow Dash, your here! And you look like... me? Anyway, I had NOTHING to do with this! I just woke up, and-” “And It was there.” Rainbow finished for her. Twilight nodded. “Come on in.” Rainbow cautiously walked in. “Do you think this happened to anyone else?” She asked while she walked and sat down. “I've been looking in my books, but im not exactly sure how it happened. It could have happened to even celestia heself. I dont know how or who, but we should embrace this oppourtunity. Could you possibly... Teach me to fly?” Twilight said. She unfolded her wings. “I could teach you magic.” Rainbow grinned. “Who knows, this could be fun!” She said.
Chapter 3 - PinkityView OnlineSwitchedChapter 3 - PinkityCoinsidently enough, Pinkie pie and Rarity had a sleepover. Pinkie was first to wake up. She opened her eyes and took one look at rarity. Her beautiful mane and tail were there, just that they were... pink. Like her! Her horn was gone, but her cutie mark was still there. Three diamonds. She decided to let rarity sleep. She stayed up a little later than pinkie had, filling an order for a customer. Pinkie thought that Rarity's clour change was the coolest thing ever. She didint know how rarity would feel about it though. As pinkie went to the kitchen to get a glass of juice, she passed a mirror. The mirror showed a mare that looked a lot like pinkie. Only thing was that her coat was a white. Her mane and tail were purple. But her cutie mark was still there, just like Rarity's was. And, she had a horn! It was white and narrow. But it was pretty. Pinkie beamed. How cool was that? Pinkie bounced to the kitchen and poured a glass of applejuice. She idily wondered if Rarity was awake yet. A chilling scream came from upstairs. Yep, Rarity was awake. “Raaaarity!” She called, galloping up the stairs. The former unicorn was staring at a mirror, stunned. “RARITY!” Pinkie shouted at her again. “Hmm, can ponies go into shock?” Rarity stuttered. “But you... my horn... my colour... you! Your colour! me... I, I was!!!! Baaaaaa?” She fumbled. Pinkie laughed. “Isnt it cool?” Rarity snapped out of her freeze. “I was quite shocked, but now I see what happened. Pinkie, you have the most charming shade of pink!” It was true, Rarity did look fabulous even switched with pinkie. Even without a horn. “We must confront Twilight at once.” Rarity decided. Pinkie firmly nodded and bounced out the door, Rarity on her hooves.
Chapter 7 - The decisionView OnlineSwitchedChapter 7 - The decisionTwilight stood infront of the princess and Told her everything that she had seen that day. The princess nodded and asked Twilight to go get all her friends. Twilight nodded firmly. After a while of chasing and Rarity giggling, Twilight had gathered all five of her friends in the room. Pincess celestia began. “It seems to me that not only are your bodies changing, but your minds are too. My guess is, once the change is complete, there is no going back.” she said. The six ponies ghasped. “What are we going to do?” Fluttershy said. “We have to do something! I can stay like this foever! No offense, applejack.” “None taken.” Applejack whispered. Her eyes widened and she put a hoof over her mouth. “Oh no... Applejack's accent is gone!” Rainbow dash shouted “How is this even possible? I need to find a book on this...” “I think its cool! I mean, Its funny-ish cool...” Rairty squirmed. She started giggling. “How can we let this happen? You guys dont look good as each other... you would need a serious trip to the spa...” Pinkie mumbled. “I agree with pink- I mean, rarity.. Its pretty awesome!” Twilight shouted. Everypony started talking at once. There were screams and shoutes, protests and reluctance. “Everypony, quiet please. We will ask zecora to come to canterlot to help you.” Pincess celestia shouted. “Why cant we just go there ourselves? It would be more efficient.” Rainbow dash asked. “In case of a... contagiousness.” The princess said. The six ponies reluctantly went to bed. They had little trouble sleeping.
