Alrighty kiddos, take a seat and shut up, so I can tell you the tale of one particular girl. This person's life was never normal, by any sense of the word. She was special, yet not; had everything available, but also took nothing for granted. This person was fated to do great things, but was actually unbound from Fate's whims.

Alena Noel was already going to be someone extraordinary, but then Fate had to come and just make everything even crazier. Her life goes from alright, to downright messed in the first of her teen years... and then she starts seeing this purple unicorn in her dreams all the time, who she begins to bond with and have a meaningful relationship with her. Then a bombshell comes one night they're talking: she's from another world, and wants to go home. Of course, Alena being the person she is, promises on her life, her very soul, to find Twilight and bring her back home.

This starts Alena on a journey from a cushy and sheltered life, straight down the rabbit hole and into the criminal underworld, which can only be described as straight to hell in a hand basket. She'll make friends, tons and tons of enemies, and possibly improve quality of life for the world as a whole completely by accident.
